Ch 46 The Grand Roll

London, Mages Association, Spiritual Tomb of Albion

(Insert The Clock Tower ost)

Ritsuka stood before the Twelve Lords of the Clocktower, sitting at the Center of the room. 'So they use the Tomb of Albion for this…as expected from the given circumstances.' He thought, feeling like he was a Criminal. Standing behind him were Koyanskaya, Holmes, Mashu, and Goldolf offering support if needed.

"Now that everyone's here, we can begin." Lorelei Barthomeloi, the Lord of Polices spoke, looking down at Ritsuka.

The Lords' proceedings at this meeting were the following, to say the least many were Proxys due to the Actual Lords being busy with their own Research.

The Lord of Astromancy: Lucius Malfoy Animusphere

The Lord of Botany: May Riddell Archelot

The Proxy Lord of Lore: Maio Brishisan Clynelles

The Appointed Lord of Modern Magecraft Theory: Kurou Adashino aka Doctor Heartless

The Proxy Lord of Spiritual Evocation: Rocco Belfeban

The Proxy Lord of Zoology: Anses Growchester

The Lord of Curses: Gawain Nott Jigmarie

The Lord of Archaeology: Karmaglyph Meluastea Deluc

The Lord/Founder of Mineralogy: Kischur Zelretch Schweinorg

The Proxy Lord of Individual Fundamentals: Vincent Crabbe Snr

The Lord of General Fundamentals: McDonell Trambelio Elrod

The Lord of Creation: Inorai Valualeta

Ritsuka looks over the Lord/Founder of Mineralogy who merely smiles at him. 'Of course, Mentor will be here…' The Lord of Chaldea mentally thought before being addressed by Lorelei.

"Lord Fujimaru of Chaldea, you are called here due to the fact you let Wizards into the Crystal Valley and allowed them to wake up ORT. Almost inciting the end of the World." Lorelei spoke, not pleased with the various reports she received.

"The Grand Roll today will determine if the Magus/ Lord of Chaldea, Ritsuka Hosi B. Fujimaru was neglecting his duties as master of Chaldea," Lorelei said, looking down at Ritsuka. "Before we go into the hearing, the Person in question may speak in his defense."

Ritsuka smiles, having already experienced this many times before. "My fellow Mages, I take my Job seriously as Humanity's Final master. As such I did not neglect my Duties during my check on the American Branch of Chaldea,"

"The Crystal Valley Incident is merely a misstep on my part," Ritsuka explains to the Lords of the Clocktower. "However, that misstep was rectified quickly. I did not expect Wizards to enter the Valley, on that, I swear,"

"So you say," Doctor Heartless spoke, looking at Ritsuka. "We all know the rumors of you adopting a Wizard Child, Harry Potter. The Wizards' Idol as your Heir, Lord Fujimaru. Are you sure it wasn't a misstep?" The Lord of Modern Magecraft asked,

Ritsuka looks at the Man who had his Heart stolen from Fairies with a cold glare. "I assure you, Doctor Heartless. What you imply does not apply to the Incident." The Magus stated.

The Lord of Archaeology chuckles, folding his hands. "I'm sorry, but can you really be sure?" Karmaglyph asked, continuing off from Doctor Heartless. "I'm just saying out of speculation, but is it possible that you might've let the Wizards in because you are Half-Wizard? More on what they call, Squib?" He asked,

"Maybe it's your intention of them entering as to wanting back into their Society?" Karmaglyph continued, poking him with a stick. "By raising Harry Potter, giving you leeway into their ranks."

"(The Hell they were saying? Of course, Fujimaru isn't a Person to use Children for his own game.)" Goldolf growls, knowing the type of Person Ritsuka was.

Holmes frowns, seeing what the two Lords are doing. "(The Lords of Modern Magecraft and Archaeology are trying to indite Mr. Fujimaru of his reaction. In short, they're testing him of his allegiance,)" The Ruler stated,

Mashu held her hands together, praying that Ritsuka would be fine.

Ritsuka smiles, "I don't think my Father being a Wizard and my Son plays any significance here, Lords." The Magus said, looking up at everyone. "Isn't Vincent Crabbe Snr from a Wizarding background just like me? Or Lord Animusphere and Lord Jigmarie there," He asked the two Lords,

Both Lords nodded, accepting the fact they came from Wizarding Families before the Proxy Lord spoke.

Vincent Crabbe Snr crossed his legs, "He does have a point there," The Proxy Lord spoke. "Many of our Students here are from the Wizarding World and we took them in without hesitation. Don't you agree with me, Lord Archelot?" He asked the Magus before him,

May Riddell smiles, "Of course, the fact Lord Fujimaru is Half Wizard is quite surprising but pretty common." The Lord of Botany stated, "But the fact remains that you let Wizards who are affiliated with the Ministry of Magic into a restricted zone."

Lucius gave an apologetic look at Ritsuka, siding with them on the matter.

"That we can agree, Lord Archelot." Rocco Belfeban said before looking back at Ritsuka. "So, let's return to our real purpose of gathering," He smiles.

"Yes, I'm curious what my former Pupil has in store for his defense," Zelretch smirks, waving his hand at his Pupil.

Ritsuka sighed before smiling, getting back at the previous conversation. "Of course, Rocco, Mentor. I'm happy to prove my innocence here before you all." He said to the Lords, 'Man, I wonder what Harry and the others are doing now…' He mentally said to himself before continuing with the meeting. (End Song)

Outside of the doors to the Spiritual Tomb, Harry, Draco, and Daphne were waiting outside hanging around the Halls of the Clocktower.

The Servants stood near the Children, Tristan who seemed to have his eyes closed, however, that wasn't the case. The Archer was keeping an eye on the older Mage Instructors who were glaring at them. "Archer, do. You think. Master's Enemies. Will make. A move. On the. Young master?" Nezha asked her fellow Servant.

"As long as we're here, then master's Enemies will not try anything," Tristan spoke, shifting his eyes to Harry and the others.

"Lancer, Archer down the Hall." Zhou Yu said, spotting some Mages approaching them.

Harry looks around, the Hallway they were in. He has heard about the Mages Association from the Chaldean Mages. He'd pictured the Clocktower as an Ancient School of a sort for Mages, to say the least, it met his expectations.

"The Clocktower is something else, it kinda looks like a prestigious University, Like Hudson or Oxford," Harry commented, sitting on the windowsill with Daphne, Mordred, and Draco standing before him.

"It should be, like the Name states, the Mages Association is the central Hub for all Mage Activity," Daphne explains to Harry, getting him up to par with the inner workings of the Clocktower. "Mages have a high prestige when it comes to their Crafts so the Clocktower reflects that prestige."

Harry nodded, learning bit by bit about the Magecraft World. "You two said that your Families are tied with the Association, what does that mean?" He asked his new Friends.

Draco answered his Cousin, explaining things to him. "Well, both me and Daphne are from well-known Mage Families." The blonde Boy explains, "My Family, the Animuspheres are the Head of the Astromancy Department and also a part of the Barthomeloi Faction or Aristocratic Faction."

"And my Family, the Coyettes are also in the Barthomeloi Faction." Daphne piqued in, sharing a bit of her Family side.

Draco sighs, looking at his Betrothed. "Yes, Daphne, we know." He said, a bit annoyed with the blonde Girl. "Anyways, it means that we came from a long line of Mages since…I actually don't know. It's just natural for us to know that, but you get the picture. I'll be taking over as the next Lord of Astromancy when I come of Age."

Harry nodded, understanding the background. "I see, what about my Dad and Mom? They are Mages too, so…which department do we belong to?" He asked the two before hearing Mordred laugh.

The three look at the Saber, leaning against the wall. "Master and Mashu aren't a part of that shit," Mordred stated, knowing about it from the beginning. "Sure they deal with Lucius and Astronomy and sometimes Policies, but they are on a whole different level than Mage Politics."

"Saber's right, Lord Fujimaru, or rather the Fujimaru Family is a new Family that quite recently broke all Mage norms," Daphne explains to Harry what his Family is. "They are neither affiliated with any Factions nor Department. In fact, you can call them as founders of a new Branch of the Association dedicated to the preservation of Humanity."

Harry never knew that his Father and Mother would be so influential that they created a new Branch so recently. "I never knew that about Dad or Mom."

"Well, Kid, you didn't ask." Mordred jokes with him causing both Daphne and Draco to join in. Harry soon joined in before the Knight took note of a few People coming.

"Well, well, what do we have here? Heirs to respective Families gathered in one place." Everyone looks up, seeing two Mages walking up to them.

The Magus was a Middle Eastern Man around Nineteen with dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. He wore a white shirt, a black dress vest, and pants with brown shoes. "To think they let Children into the Clocktower. Children such as you should learn your place when facing a high-standing Magus like me." He stated.

"Now, don't be like that Atrum. You forget one of them is the Son of the Lord of Astromancy and the other is his Fiancé." The other Magus who was slightly older than the blonde one spoke. He had maroon hair and red eyes and wore a light grey vest with a dark red dress shirt and black dress pants and shoes.

The maroon-haired Magus looks at Harry and frowns, "Tch, another backwater Wizard has joined the Clocktower. I swear what are the Lords thinking," He shrugs, speaking about Harry. "Bringing in Wizards into the Clocktower after they were expelled from their Families. It really painted the Mages Association a bad reputation." He said,

Harry got down, looking up at the Magus who he knew were talking about him.

"Oi, don't speak to the Kid like that or ya get what's coming," Mordred said, defending the young master.

"Saber," Harry looks up at the Knight of Rebellion, ready to Summon Clarent upon these bastards.

"Excuse me," The Magus looks up, seeing Zhou Yu and the others approaching them. "But do you have business with my master and his Friends? If not then…" The Archer motions to him, Tristan, and Nezha.

Tristan opens his eyes as Nezha gives them a Death glare.

"Tch, Servants." The maroon-haired Magus said, looking at his fellow Magus who started to walk away.

"Let's get out of here, I don't want to deal with Chaldean Servants." The dirty blonde-haired Magus said, walking away from the group. He looked back at Harry and gritted his teeth at him before leaving.

Once they left, Zhou Yu looked down at the Children. "Master, are you and your Friends alright?" The Archer asked the young ones.

Harry nodded, looking back at where the Mages were going. "Who were they? They sound like they're spoiled Sons of Rich Families," He commented, curious who they are.

"The Middle Eastern one is Atrum Galliasta, his Family bought their way into the Clocktower, and earned himself a Title recently," Daphne explains who the dirty blonde-haired Magus was. "The last one is very prominent and well-known in the Association." She said, glaring at the two.

"Bram Nuada-Re Sophia-Ri, Age Twenty. He's the Successor of the Lord of the Department of Spiritual Evocation." Draco informed who the Magus was, being the next Heir of the Animuspheres means he has knowledge of who are the Heirs of the Lords. "In all, he's a spoiled Magus who sometimes takes his Father's place during Lord meetings."

Draco looks at Harry with a serious expression on his face. "But Bram is also well known for having a vendetta against your Father." He explains to Harry on what Bram was famous for.

Harry blinks, "Why's that, Draco?" He asked his Cousin, curious about the vendetta between the Heir of Spiritual Evocation and his Father.

"It's because your Father is the only Magus who can Summon Heroic Spirits like pulling a Rabbit out of a Hat," Tristan explains, making a comparison. "Any normal Magus would need Special conditions and a Relic to Summon one of us,"

Mordred crossed her arms, finding it really annoying with Bram. "I'd say he's just jealous that master is a better master than he would be." The Knight of Rebellion stated, smirking at her comment.

"So, I guess the Clocktower isn't just a place to study Magecraft." The black-haired Boy said, seeing the many Mages would do anything to provoke his Father because of what he'd achieve. Such as the case in South America,

Nezha looked around, feeling eyes were on them. Mainly on Harry, "We should. Take our leave. There are. Many eyes. On us." The Lancer stated, suggesting to the group.

"Yes, you're quite right, Lancer." Zhou Yu said, that seeing the environment they were in was a good experience for his master about the Mages Association yet inexperienced in dealing with the higher Mages. "Let's head explore the City, your Father might take a while with the Lords here."

Harry looks at Draco and Daphne who agree with the notion. "Yeah, too much stuffiness is bad for your Health," Daphne stated, wanting to get out of the Clocktower after that encounter.

The only reason why she was here is because her Father is taking part in another investigation regarding another matter.

"To be honest, I'm really hungry now," Draco commented, receiving a sigh from his Betrothed. "I know a great Tea Room nearby that makes good sandwiches."

Mordred smirks, wanting to get away from the Politics of the Association. "Let's get out of here already, these Mage bastards are really pissing me off." The Saber said, receiving some light giggles from the Children.

London City,

Walking down the street, two Wizards were sent from the Ministry to search the streets for Harry Potter. "I swear, why do we need to go to the Muggle World." A Pureblood Auror said to his Partner.

"It's because the Boy-Who-Lived might be on the streets. The Minister wants everyone to search every knick and nanny of London for him." The Auror stated, explaining things to him.

The other Auror nodded before changing the subject. "Have you heard? Just beyond Hogsmede a Church was built." He said, conversing with his Partner. "They say that a few Parents of Hogwarts Students want them to keep up with their beliefs." He added.

"Yeah, I did hear about that. Both the Minister and Headmaster are on edge because of it." The Auror added, being present in the conversation. "Fudge wanted to send Aurors to subdue the Church but Dumbledore decided against it. Many would consider what they do."

The Auror nodded, fearing the Church ever since he was young. "I swear those Muggle Parents doesn't know the truth behind the Church." He shutters at the incident a few years back.

"I forgot; you were there too." The Auror said, being on a different assignment on that day. "A few Aurors were sent to subdue a group of Vampires terrorizing a Muggle Town. Only to be caught in a crossfire with the Church's Enforcers." He stated hearing about it from some Friends.

The Pureblood Auror shutters once again at the traumatizing scene. "Many Aurors were lost that day…never again we should mess with the Holy Church-"

"Hey, that Kid in the white jacket." The Auror points to the young Boy wearing a white jacket, matching the description of Harry Potter. Messy black hair and green eyes,

The Pureblood Auror looks forward, seeing the young Boy resembling James Potter. "We found him, let's report to the Minister immediately." He said as the two headed back to the nearest entrance to the Ministry of Magic.

Walking down the street, Harry, Draco, and Daphne were heading down to the Tea Shop where all Mages go to have Lunch. Tristan, Mordred, Zhou Yu, and Nezha followed behind, acting as Guards.

The Saber noticed that the Doll Servant was dragging behind. "Still on edge because of the Magus, Lancer?" Mordred looks at the Puppet, seeing she is ready for combat,

"That Magus. From the. Mages Association. Was looking. At the. Young master." Nezha said, catching some ire from the Galliasta Family. "His eyes were. They were filled with. Jealousy and arrogance. When he gazes. At the young master." The Doll stated, explaining what she observed during their interaction.

Tristan nodded, considering Nezha's observation. "Ah, Mages are truly despicable People." The Archer sighs before looking at the young master and smiling. "At least our master is different from the Mages and is raising the young master well."

Zhou Yu nodded, agreeing with his fellow Servants. "That we can agree, but we can't let our guard down everyone." The Archer said as his fellow Servants agreed, ready to defend the Children.

Sitting in the Tea Room, Hermione was eating a sandwich with her Mother. "Hermione dear, how's your sandwich?" Dawn asked her Daughter,

"It's delicious Mom," Hermione said, taking a look around the Tea Room. It was simple and yet elegant. The Customers were all Students or Faculty from the Clocktower on their Lunch Break or working on their Schoolwork. "I didn't know this Tea Room was used by Students and Faculty at the University." She said, liked this idea.

Dawn smiles at the bushy-haired Girl. "I'm glad to hear, dear. But don't you think you're taking things a bit fast?" The Mother asked her Daughter, giving her a worried expression. "You're still in Primary School, Hermione. Let's worry about that when you're a bit older, all right?" She said,

Hermione returned to eating her sandwich, noting what her Mother said. Soon the doors of the Tea Room rung,

The bushy-haired Girl turns around, hearing the doorbell ringing. Hermione turns to the door, and her eyes widen, seeing three Children around her Age walking inside the Tea Room.

Behind them were three uniquely dressed People, Hermione watches as the new Customers take a seat next to their table. Take a look at the new Customers who just entered. The Four older People then look at the Children, asking them what they want to order.

"Those Kids, they look like they are Students at the University," Hermione commented, looking at the other table, and talking to her Mother. "They're wearing some expensive clothing."

Dawn nodded, agreeing with her Daughter on what she said. "You're right, they must be visiting on a Scholarship." She commented, seeing the clothes and air about them.

Hermione couldn't help but be curious how these Students were able to go into the University. Looking at her Mother, the bushy-haired Girl was about to stand up. "Mum, I'm going to ask them a few things." She said,

"Alright, Hermonie but do be careful with your questioning," Dawn said, asking her to lighten up with her questioning.

The bushy-haired Girl smiles, walking up to the next table.

"So, Draco, I heard your Father went on the Rail Zepplin recently," Daphne said, hearing rumors from her Family.

Draco chuckles, folding his arms. "Yeah, Father was looking for a Rare set of Jewel Rank Mystic Eyes." He confirms what his Betrothed was asking. "He purchased one and said it'll be used for advancing my Family's Research of Astronomy."

Harry looks at the two Mages, curious about what they are talking about. "Mystic Eyes? What are those," He asked, being the first time he heard about it.

"Mystic Eyes are Eyes that alter the World or Person around them. Each depends on the set of Eyes, ranking into several categories." Daphne explains to Harry, being basic knowledge among Mages. "You heard of Medusa and her Petrifying Eyes, right?"

"Of course, Medusa is a Grogon that turns People/Heroes to Stone with one glance of her Eyes." The Heir of Chaldea said, knowing that much from the Legends.

The Heir of the Coyette Family smiles, "That's right, Medusa's Eyes are known as the Mystic Eyes of Petrification. A Jewel Ranked Mystic Eyes," Daphne said before stopping their conversation.

Draco quickly halted as someone approached them. "Oh? Are you talking about the Greek Monster, Medusa? You know she has other Sisters too, Euryale and Stheno," A young Girl with bushy brown hair said, adding to the conversation. "The Myth also said that when the Hero Perseus defeated Medusa, her blood gave birth to the Pegasus."

Draco and Daphne looked at each other, unsure why the Human was talking to them. Harry saw that both his new Friend and Cousin were taken aback by the sudden approach.

Turning around to fix the mood, Harry spoke to their new visitor. "You know Greek Mythology…um…"

"Hermione, Hermione Jean Granger." The bushy-haired Girl introduced herself. "I've read many books, in fact, I read many books from different Cultures around the World." She said, sharing her interest with the table.

"Oh? It's nice to meet someone who has the same interest as me." Harry said, scooting over to make some space. "My Name is Harry Fujimaru, this here is-"

Following Harry's example, both Draco and Daphne introduced themselves. "I'm Draco Malfoy Animusphere, nice to meet you." The blonde Boy said, introducing himself before his Betrothed.

"As for me, I'm Daphne Coyett Greengrass." The young blonde Magus introduced herself as everyone did.

Hermione blinks, hearing a familiar Name Daphne just said. "Coyett? Are you perhaps related to the Frederick Coyett, the Swedish Captain who traveled to Japan and China, establishing the Dutch East India Company?" She asked Daphne, curious if they were related.

"Um, that's right. My Family is a direct Descendant of Freddrick Coyett from his Daughter's line, Dorothea Coyett. You sure know your History, Hermione." Daphne said, impressed by her knowledge of something only advanced Highschoolers or College Students should know.

"I do love reading books, it's actually my hobby," Hermione said before asking them something. "Forgive me, but your Last Names, they seem to be…how to put it…"

Draco chuckles, getting that a lot. "Notable? Yeah, we got that a lot. Mainly me,"

Hermione blinks, looking at Draco. "How come?" She asked the Heir of Animusphere.

"My Father is one of the Head of the Science Department, he studied Astronomy," Draco said, changing a few things and discarding the Mage parts.

The bushy-haired Girl froze, impressed by what Draco said. "No wonder, your Name is a Constellation. Clever," Hermione commented, "What about you two? Are your Families in charge of one of the many departments in the University?" She asked,

Daphne shook her head, "My Father is an Instructor in the Botany Department," She said, knowing Botany has two meanings behind it. "It's not as grand as the other two here, but still."

Hermione turns to Harry, "Harry, your Last Name is Foreign right? Fujimaru sounds like an Asian Name, Japanese?" She asked,

"I'm Adopted actually, born here in Britain, but yeah. My Dad's Japanese and my Mom is…European." Harry said, unsure what nationality Mashu was.

"Harry's Family does do some collaborative work with the Clocktower. They're a Research Organization that studies the World and History." Draco assisted with the explanation, giving both a lot and a little information about Chaldea. "In fact, we're Cousins." He added,

Harry nodded, looking at Hermione. "All of you seem to have your Future laid out, lucky. I'm currently planning my own Future," Hermione said, adding to the conversation. "Even though I'm in Primary School, I'm looking into Universities for me to attend once I Graduated."

"I'm leaning into studying at…the Clocktower? That's the Name, right?" Hermione asked, receiving a complicated expression from the two Mages. "In fact, the reason I approach you all is because you are the same Age as me…"

"And being the same Age means that you're hoping if you can find a way on to enter the Clocktower, right?" Harry asked, receiving a nod from Hermione.

Daphne sighs, seeing her thirst for knowledge. "Well, the admission process is very, VERY hard. You need to pass an Evaluation Test then attend General Fundamentals and pass the tests. Then attend Individual Fundamentals and pass their Courses, then you pick out which Departments you want to study in." The Heir of the Coyett Family explains to Hermione the process. "I'd say it'll take all of your Twenties to Thirty-Five to pass the Courses."

Hermione was taken aback at how many requirements that she needed to get past to even get into the Clocktower. "W-Wow, that's a lot of requirements. And this is just for entry, right?" She asked, receiving a nod from the two. "No wonder everyone attending the Clocktower is from Wealthy Families."

"H-Hey, my Father isn't a part of the Clocktower. And they seem…appreciative of the work he does." Harry looks at Draco and Daphne who shrugs,

Hermione shook her head before slapping her cheeks. "Well, I have to study hard to get myself a Scholarship." She said, looking at the table, appreciating their help. "Thank you for answering my questions, Draco, Daphne, and Harry. Now I know where to start off from." She said before seeing her Mother getting up.

"Oh, I got to go. Thanks again everyone and I hope we meet again too at the Clocktower." Hermione said, leaving the table to join her Mother.

Harry and the others smile, waving Hermione and her Mother off before Daphne speaks. "That poor Girl…she'll have to kill some People to even get noticed by the Clocktower." The blonde Magus said, seeing how naive she was.

"Hermione is too innocent to even attend. No matter what she does or what Scholarship she has." Draco added, feeling sorry for Hermione. It's pretty common for young Mage Lineage to enter the Association, but the majority dropped out due to the harshness of Mages in general.

Harry looks at his Friends, getting what they mean. But he doesn't agree with what they are saying. "Hey, I believe she can do it. Even though it's going to be hard."

"Oya? It seems the young master has found himself a new Girlfriend." Harry blushes, turning around to Mordred and the others with a smug expression on their faces.

"Ah, yes. Young love, it's one of those things that makes someone such as me truly happy." Tristan smiles, wanting to play Failnaught for this occasion.

Nezha nodded, agreeing with her fellow Servants. "Yes. It wouldn't surprise me. That the young master. Would inherit master's. Harrem EX Skill." The Lancer could not help but play the inside joke of Chaldea out.

Zhou Yu chuckles, turning away from his master's gaze. "T-That w-we can agree…" He held back his laughter.

Harry's face blushed red, turning away from the Servants' joking. Daphne and Draco merely smile, cracking up in the inside.
