The next day, Angela and Mike woke up and turned towards each other with soft smiles.

"Morning, baby," Mike whispered lovingly, reaching out to gently touch her fiancee's cheek.

"Morning, hon," Angela whispered back as she traced her fingers on Mike's toned chest.

He then let out a chuckle. "You never get tired of doing this, do you?"

Angela grinned. "Nope. And I don't think I ever will." She leaned in, giving him a soft kiss.

"Well, that's why I work out so much. I love showing off for you and letting you feel the results," Mike quipped.

Angela giggled, her fingers still tracing the contours of his stomach. "And I love every second of it."

Mike grinned, leaning in to kiss her gently. "Good, because I don't plan on stopping anytime soon."

Angela sighed contentedly. "Neither do I."

Both of them shared a tender kiss, savoring the quiet intimacy of the early morning.

Meanwhile, David and Lily slowly fluttered their eyes open, their bodies still entwined from the night before.

"Hey, hon," David whispered lovingly.

"Morning, babe," Lily replied as her hand rested on her boyfriend's chest, tracing gentle circles.

"Man, waking up to see your pretty face never gets old," David quipped with a loving smile as he playfully booped her nose.

Lily giggled, leaning in for a kiss. "You always know how to make me smile."

"And you're cuter when you do," David replied, pulling her closer into a warm embrace.

"Says the toned boyfriend," Lily teased as she traced her fingers on her boyfriend's stomach.

"This is why we never wear PJs. Or shirts or pants of any kind in bed," David chuckled, enjoying the sensation of her touch. "Can't hide these abs from you."

"Definitely not," Lily replied with a playful smirk. "Especially when I get to feel them every morning."

David leaned in closer, his smile growing as he pressed a gentle kiss to Lily's forehead. "I'm glad you enjoy it," he said softly. "It's one of my favorite parts of the day."

Lily smiled, her eyes twinkling with affection. "Mine too," she murmured, brushing a strand of hair from David's face. "Waking up next to you makes everything better."

David wrapped his arms around Lily, pulling her into a warm embrace. "We've got a big day ahead with the Maury show," he reminded her, his voice still tender. "But for now, let's just enjoy this moment."

Lily snuggled closer, resting her head against his chest. "Sounds perfect," she said, closing her eyes and savoring the closeness. "We've got plenty of time to get ready, so let's make the most of these peaceful minutes."

They lay there in comfortable silence, enjoying each other's presence and the gentle morning light filtering through the curtains.

Mike emerged from the room casually dressed and made his way to Tuck and Roll's room. He knocked softly before scanning the key and entering, finding the pill bug twins still nestled in their bedding.

"Good morning, Tuck and Roll," Mike said with a friendly smile. "Time to wake up! We've got a busy day ahead."

Tuck and Roll stirred, their antennae twitching as they slowly woke up. Mike gently nudged them to get them moving.

"Come on, guys. We're heading out to Stamford soon," Mike continued, ensuring they were up and getting ready. "It'll be a fun day, and we don't want to miss out."

As they began to stir and get up, Mike helped them with their preparations, making sure they had everything they needed for the day's adventures.

As everyone gathered downstairs, returning the hotel keys and loading their things into the cars, Gypsy turned to Mike with a question.

"Are there taxis anywhere here in Washington?" Gypsy asked.

"Definitely," Mike replied, sliding his sunglasses into place. "Washington D.C. has plenty of taxis. They're usually easy to find, especially around busy areas."

"Good to know," Gypsy nodded. "Just in case we need one when we return these vehicles."

David finished loading the last bag into the trunk and turned to the group. "Alright, everyone, let's head out. We've got a bit of driving ahead before we get to Stamford."

With everyone settled into their vehicles, the group prepared for their journey, excited for the next adventure awaiting them.

"Let's go to McDonald's for breakfast," Angela suggested as Mike drove, navigating the morning traffic. "Flight isn't for another couple hours."

"McDonald's serves breakfast too?" Manny asked, glancing over with surprise. "I thought they only served burgers, chicken, and fries."

"They do, but they have a breakfast menu as well," Angela explained with a smile. "They've got everything from Egg McMuffins to hotcakes and hash browns."

Manny's eyes widened in interest. "That sounds pretty good, actually."

Mike chuckled. "Yeah, their breakfast is pretty popular. It's worth a stop before we head to the airport."

As they drove, everyone looked forward to a quick and satisfying breakfast to start their day.

Later inside McDonald's, the group gathered at the counter to place their orders.

"One of you bugs gotta try the pancakes, eggs, and bacon," Lily suggested, looking at Gypsy and Manny with enthusiasm. "It's a classic breakfast combo."

Gypsy raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Pancakes, eggs, and bacon? Sounds like a hearty start to the day."

Manny nodded in agreement. "I'm up for it. Never had a breakfast like that before."

Angela smiled as she scanned the menu. "Great choice. I'm going for the McMuffin myself."

Mike grinned. "I'll be having my usual—sausage burrito and hash browns."

The group placed their orders, excited to try out the McDonald's breakfast offerings. As they waited for their food, the conversations turned to the day ahead, filled with anticipation for their flight and the adventures that awaited them in Stamford.

When the food was finally served, Gypsy eyed the syrup packet with curiosity. "What's this?"

"That's syrup," Mike replied. "Helps enhance the taste of pancakes."

David nodded. "Recommended that you put it on after you eat the eggs and bacon."

Gypsy opened the packet and drizzled some syrup on her pancake, giving it a cautious taste. Her eyes widened in delight. "This is wonderful!"

Manny took a bite of his own breakfast, nodding in agreement. "Definitely different from what we're used to, but really good."

The group enjoyed their breakfast, sharing bites and comments about the food. The excitement of the upcoming flight and the day's plans kept the conversation lively as they finished their meals and prepared to head to the airport.

"So where do eggs like these come from?" Francis asked.

"These eggs come from chickens," Angela explained. "They lay the eggs, and farmers collect them for us to eat."

"Is that where meat comes from?" Dim asked.

"Yeah, but we'll spare the details on how it's made, especially for Gypsy's sake," Lily replied.

Gypsy looked grateful. "Thank you, Lily."

After breakfast, Mike checked his watch. "We've got some time, but we need to get the vehicles refueled and washed before returning them. Let's get moving."

The group piled into the Excursion and Challenger, heading to the nearest gas station and car wash. Once both vehicles were refueled and sparkling clean, they drove to the rental return lot, each vehicle returned to the dealerships where they were rented.

As they finished returning the vehicles, Mike looked around. "We need to grab a cab to the airport."

Angela then hailed a cab. The driver pulled up and helped load the bags into the trunk.

"See you guys at the airport," Angela called out as they climbed into the cab.

David, Lily, Emily, Francis, Heimlich, Slim, and Rosie all gathered on Dim. The rhinoceros beetle spread his wings, and with everyone securely holding on, they took off into the sky, heading towards the airport.

As the cab made its way through the city, Mike glanced at Angela. "Next stop, Stamford."

Angela smiled. "And then, who knows? Maybe something even more exciting after that."

Gypsy and Manny exchanged a knowing look. "We'll be ready for anything," Gypsy said with a grin.

The journey to the airport was smooth, and soon both groups were reunited at the terminal at DCA, ready for the next leg of their adventure.

"Are there any companies for planes?" Gypsy asked as they walked through the terminal.

"Yes," David replied. "Mainly American Airlines, Boeing—which I don't trust, United, Delta, Southwest, JetBlue, Spirit..."

"Wow, that's quite a list," Gypsy remarked. "I didn't realize there were so many."

Mike nodded. "And each has its own quirks and perks. We'll just have to see which one suits our needs best for the next trip."

Angela checked the flight information on her phone. "Looks like we've got some time before our flight, so we can relax a bit before boarding."

Gypsy and Manny took a moment to appreciate the bustling atmosphere of the airport while the rest of the group got their boarding passes and settled in.

"Should be a smooth flight," Mike said, glancing at the screen showing the departure times.

"Let's hope so," Angela added with a smile. "We've got a lot of adventures ahead of us."

As they waited for their flight, the group chatted about their upcoming plans, excited for what was to come next.

"So, which one's gonna be our plane?" Rosie asked, her curiosity evident.

"American this time," Mike replied. "It's a reliable choice, and we should have a comfortable flight."

"First time flying American," Rosie remarked. "Let's see how it goes."

"Should be good," Angela said reassuringly. "They have a decent service record."

As they made their way to the gate, Emily tugged on Lily's hand. "Mommy, what's the best part of flying?"

Lily smiled down at her daughter. "The best part is looking out the window and seeing the world from up high. It's like a whole new perspective."

Emily's eyes widened in excitement. "I can't wait to see!"

David chuckled, ruffling Emily's hair. "You'll love it, honey."

The group settled in near the gate, their anticipation building. The announcement for boarding came over the speakers, and they gathered their belongings, ready for the next leg of their journey.

"Ready to go?" Manny asked, looking around at their friends.

"Absolutely," Mike said, giving a thumbs up. "Let's get this adventure started."

"What else is there to see in Connecticut besides the studios?" Francis asked.

"Well, there's Mystic Seaport, Yale University, and the Mark Twain House," Lily replied. "Plus, there's always good shopping and dining in downtown Stamford."

"And plenty of parks and nature trails," Angela added. "It's a pretty state."

"Sounds like a nice mix of things to do," Heimlich said. "Looking forward to it!"

The 4 humans boarded the plane along with their friends and stowed their luggage in the overhead compartments. They found their seats and settled in comfortably.

Mike glanced out the window as the final preparations for takeoff were underway. "I'm excited for Stamford," he said, turning to Angela and the others. "Maury's gonna be quite the experience."

Angela nodded, taking in the cabin surroundings. "I'm curious to see how the show operates behind the scenes."

David adjusted his seat and leaned back, making himself comfortable. "And it'll be great to see some new places and catch up with old friends."

Lily smiled as she made sure their belongings were securely stored. "Absolutely. It's going to be an interesting trip."

As the plane began to taxi down the runway, they all relaxed, ready for their flight to Connecticut.

"I'm actually feeling kinda bad for you, Rosie," Mike said sympathetically. "A lot of the things we're doing on our spree, you have to miss out on to watch Dim and Emily."

"Well, Emily's 3, and someone has to keep Dim house-trained," Rosie replied with a chuckle. "It's not so bad. I'm sure you guys will have plenty of fun for all of us."

Mike smiled, appreciating her understanding. "We'll make sure to share all the highlights with you."

The plane's engines roared to life, and the aircraft began its ascent, carrying them towards their next adventure.

"Oh, forgot to show you bugs," Angela said as she pulled up a map of the USA on her phone. "This is what the entire American country looks like."

"Wow!" Gypsy exclaimed, her eyes widening as she took in the vast expanse of the map. "It's so big! And all these different states..."

"Yeah, each state has its own unique attractions and cultures," Mike explained. "We've only seen a small part of it so far."

"And Connecticut is just a small piece of the puzzle," added Angela. "But we're about to explore it soon."

"This is where Florida is, which we went to, and this is New York. Also where we went to," Lily chimed in as she pointed to each state on the map.

"Is Hawaii in this one?" Rosie asked, pointing at the map.

"It's a U.S. state, but it's actually not on this map," Angela explained. "Hawaii is an archipelago located in the central Pacific Ocean, so it's quite far from the mainland."

"Wow, that's a long way to travel," Gypsy said. "I didn't realize how far it was from here."

"Yeah, it's definitely a bit of a trek," Mike agreed. "But it's worth it for the beautiful beaches and unique experiences."

"Sounds like it'll be an amazing trip," Francis added, excitement evident in his voice. "But we have a lot of fun planned before we get there."

"Where's Seattle, though?" Slim asked, peering at the map with curiosity.

"Seattle is up in Washington State," Angela replied, zooming in on the map to highlight the Pacific Northwest region. "It's in the far northwest corner of the continental United States."

"There's another Washington?" Heimlich asked, tilting his head in confusion.

"Yes, Washington State and Washington, D.C. are two different places," David explained. "Washington, D.C. is the capital of the U.S., while Washington State is a whole different state on the west coast. They're named after the same person, George Washington, but they're far apart."

"Interesting," Rosie said, taking in the information. "I didn't know there were two places named Washington."

"Yep, it can be a bit confusing," Mike agreed. "But it's all part of the unique geography here."

"As long as we get to see everything we want, I'm good with it," Gypsy said with a smile. "Wherever we go next, it's all about the adventure."

"And this is where San Francisco and LA are," Mike explained as he pointed to California on the map. "California's known for its diverse attractions, from the beaches in LA to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco."

"Never been to California," Slim remarked. "What's it like?"

"It's really diverse," Angela said. "You've got the vibrant city life in LA, the tech scene in Silicon Valley, beautiful national parks like Yosemite, and the stunning coastline."

"Sounds like a lot to explore," Gypsy said. "It must be an amazing place to visit."

"It definitely is," David agreed. "But we have a few stops before we get to California. Right now, we're heading to Stamford for the Maury show, where Lily will be helping out with the show's therapy segment."

"Yeah, we'll get to see Lily in action and explore the local area," Mike added. "But once we're done there, we'll have plenty of time to look forward to California."

"Sounds like a plan," Rosie said, smiling. "It's exciting to think about all the different places we'll be visiting."

"And there's always something new to discover," Gypsy said. "From the East Coast to the West Coast and Central Coast, it'sgoing to be quite the journey."

As the plane continued its flight, the group settled into their seats, eagerly discussing their upcoming travels and enjoying the anticipation of the adventures yet to come.

"And here's Texas," Lily said, pointing to the large state on the map. "Where Dallas and Austin are."

"You'd think Texas is just all about BBQ, farmers, horses, cowboys, and accents," Mike chimed in, "but you'd be wrong. It's got a lot more to offer. Austin, for instance, is known for its vibrant music scene and tech industry."

"Yeah, and Dallas is a major cultural and economic hub," David added. "It's got world-class museums, shopping, and sports teams."

"Plus, Texas has a diverse landscape," Angela continued. "You've got everything from deserts to lush forests, and big cities to small towns. It's really quite varied."

"Sounds like there's more to explore than just the stereotypes," Slim said thoughtfully.

"Absolutely," Mike agreed. "Every state has its own unique charm and hidden gems. It's all about discovering what makes each place special."

"So, when do we get to check out Texas?" Rosie asked.

"Not just yet," Mike said with a smile. "We've got Stamford coming up next, and then we'll see where the road takes us. But Texas is definitely on the list for future adventures."

The group continued to discuss their travels, enjoying the mix of excitement and anticipation for the many destinations yet to come.

When the plane landed at Westchester County Airport (HPN), the group disembarked with excitement, eager to continue their journey.

"Not in Connecticut yet," David said, glancing around as he stretched his legs.

"How far away is it?" Gypsy asked.

"It's about an hour's drive to Stamford," Mike explained. "We'll need to get to the hotel first and then pick up the rental cars."

David, Lily, Emily, Slim, Heimlich, and Francis made their way to the street outside the airport where David began hailing a cab.

Meanwhile, Mike and Angela, with Rosie on Dim's back and Tuck and Roll each on Mike and Angela's shoulders, joined Gypsy and Manny who were flying alongside Dim. They made their way to where David's group had secured the cab.

Once David's group was settled into the cab with their luggage, Mike and Angela, along with Rosie, took to the skies on Dim. Gypsy and Manny joined them, flying alongside, as they all headed towards Stamford.

As they flew towards Stamford, Mike's voice cut through the rush of the wind and Dim's buzzing wings. "I'm surprised Dim's able to handle the weight of our bags!" he called out.

Angela glanced at Mike, a smile on her face. "I guess Dim's stronger than we thought!"

Rosie, perched comfortably on Dim's back, added, "He's definitely showing his versatility today."

Gypsy and Manny flew alongside, with Gypsy remarking, "Dim must have some incredible stamina."

"Yeah," Mike agreed, "I don't think we could have made this trip without him."

The group continued their journey, their excitement growing as Stamford came into view.

Later outside the Stamford Hotel, the group reunited at the entrance. Mike hopped off Dim and helped Angela and Rosie down gently.

"How can you guys afford stuff like hotel stays and plane tickets?" Francis asked, his curiosity evident.

"And cab rides too," Heimlich chimed in, adding to the question.

Mike chuckled and glanced at Angela. "Well, it's a combination of planning and budgeting. We save up for these trips and make sure to set aside money for all the expenses. Plus, it helps that we try to get good deals whenever we can."

Angela nodded in agreement. "It's all about managing our finances and making sure we prioritize what's important to us."

Rosie added with a grin, "And having a bit of flexibility with our plans helps too. Sometimes we find great opportunities and discounts along the way."

Gypsy and Manny exchanged glances, impressed by the practicality and planning involved.

"Sounds like you've got it all figured out," Gypsy said.

Mike gave a playful shrug. "We do our best. And now that we're here, let's enjoy Stamford!"

As everyone later checked in, they headed upstairs. Mike scanned the key to Tuck and Roll's room, letting the pill bugs roll in ahead of him.

"Alright, you two," Mike said, setting their small travel cases inside, "get settled in and don't cause too much trouble."

The twins rolled around in excitement before finding a cozy spot to rest.

Mike chuckled as he closed the door behind them. The rest of the group dispersed to check out their rooms, making sure everything was in order.

"Alright," Lily breathed, looking at her phone. "There's a CarMax nearby with available cars for rental. We should head there once we're settled."

"Sounds good," David agreed, stretching. "Let's unpack and then get moving."

Angela nodded. "I'll make sure we have all the paperwork ready. Let's meet in the lobby in half an hour."

Everyone nodded in agreement, eager to get their transportation sorted out. They headed to their rooms to freshen up and unpack, looking forward to the adventures ahead.

Later at CarMax, the group was gathered near the rental vehicles.

"So, what vehicles are we taking?" Rosie asked, glancing at the lineup.

"Mine will be a 2001 GMC Sierra 2500," David replied, pointing to the rugged truck.

"I'm taking the 2011 Toyota Sienna," Mike added, gesturing to the spacious minivan.

"Those names sound similar," Gypsy remarked with a curious look.

"Yeah, but they're quite different," David explained. "The Sierra is a truck, good for hauling and off-road. The Sienna is a minivan, more for comfort and space."

"Sounds like we've got all our bases covered." Francis said.

The group proceeded to finalize their rental agreements and prepare for the drive, excited for the next part of their journey.

"Can't wait to ride another truck!" Emily said excitedly, her eyes lighting up at the sight of the GMC Sierra.

David grinned and ruffled her hair. "Well, you're in for a treat, kiddo. This one's got plenty of room for adventure."

Mike chuckled, loading the last of their bags into the Sienna. "Just remember to keep your seatbelt on."

"Always!" Emily replied with a big smile.

"Fun fact, the side door emblems on this truck are similar to the ones on the '88-02 models," Lily remarked to the bugs as Dim flew into the trunk of the Sienna.

"That's interesting!" Francis said, admiring the truck. "They must have a classic appeal."

"Let's get moving," Mike said, closing the trunk and making sure everyone was secure. "Stamford awaits!"

As David hooked up the car seat in the middle of the backseat and Lily helped Emily in, Gypsy and Manny each got in one side, while the others piled into the Sienna.

"Everyone ready to explore Stamford?" David asked, looking in the rearview mirror.

"Ready!" Gypsy and Manny chorused, while Emily giggled excitedly.

Mike started the Sienna. "Alright, let's see what Stamford has in store for us!" he called out with enthusiasm, as both vehicles pulled out of the CarMax lot and headed toward their hotel.

"Something tells me Tuck and Roll aren't going to blend in well in a studio full of humans," Francis remarked, glancing at the pillbug twins next to him.

"Doesn't surprise me, since they're pillbugs," Mike replied as he drove behind his brother.

"At least they'll be grateful they're going," Angela chimed in.

"My guess is I'll have to watch over Emily and Dim again?" Rosie asked.

"Yes," Mike confirmed. "The Maury show is an adult-oriented environment, so it's best if they stay out of it."

"What time does the show start?" Slim asked from the backseat.

"It starts at 3:00, so we have about 3 hours to kill," Angela replied, glancing at the clock.

"I need a nap right now," Mike sighed, stifling a yawn.

"Don't fall asleep behind the wheel!" Heimlich quipped, his voice laced with concern.

"If I feel tired enough to fall asleep, I'll make sure to pull over to the side and switch with Angela," Mike assured, his tone steady.

Back at the hotel, Mike settled onto the bed with Angela and closed his eyes, quickly drifting off into a peaceful sleep. Angela snuggled close to him, her head resting on his shoulder as she relaxed, enjoying the quiet moment together.

The soft hum of the air conditioner and the gentle rustle of the curtains in the breeze created a calming backdrop, helping Mike sink deeper into his rest.

Meanwhile, in the hotel hallway, Lily dressed in a dark blue blouse, casual trousers, and flats as she spoke to the circus bugs. "Okay. I have to go to the studio for a meeting with Maury's producers."

"I'll drive you there," David offered, adjusting his own outfit as he prepared to head out.

"Thanks, David," Lily replied with a grateful smile. She turned to the bugs and continued, "I'll make sure to keep you all updated on the schedule."

"Good luck with the meeting," Gypsy said, giving Lily an encouraging nod.

"Yeah, hope everything goes smoothly," Manny added.

"Thanks, everyone. I'll see you back at the hotel soon," Lily said as she walked toward the elevator, followed by David. They headed down to the lobby and out to the parking lot where the rental car was parked.

Back in the hallway, the bugs chatted amongst themselves, discussing their plans for the day while they waited for the upcoming show. The anticipation for the Maury show was palpable, but for now, they were enjoying the calm before the storm.
