Cozumel 111th hunger games

Chapter 1 district 1 tributes

Celeste Lane D1 female

I hate district 5, because they killed my mother.

My mom gave birth to me when she was 15, a year later she was in the hunger games. The district 5 female snuck into the careers camp on the second day and killed my mother along with the district 4 male and both district 2 tributes. The district 1 male and district 4 female escaped.

I've hated district 5 ever since.

I've been raised by my dad and my mom's parents. He's now married and has twins a son and a daughter who are only 3.

It's the day of reaping. I went through my walk-in closet choosing my outfit. I decided on a lilac crop top with red and yellow flowers and a denim skirt. my black hair was all wavy and I put on a pair of diamond earrings.

I went to the reaper's building. The female peacekeeper took my blood sample and I went to join the other seventeen-year-old girls.

Leanne Fitzgerald the district 1 escort arrived. She had hair dyed rose gold and wore a pink dress with a matching octopus hat like the one princess Beatrice of England wore.

"Greatings district 1," she announced. "Welcome to the 111th hunger games and may the odds be ever in your favour."

After playing the announcement video and listing the victors, she walked to the box where the female names were kept.

"Ladies first" she declared reaching in.

She reached her hand in deep and pulled out an envelope.

"Celeste Lane" Leanne announced.

Philip Chevalier D1 male

It was reaping day, after spending half my life training with the other careers training to fight and survive for the hunger games.

My father owns a successful wine company. He has great pride in me and is determined to see me in the games.

I dressed in a baby blue suit and made my way to the reaper's building. Took a blood sample and went to the seventeen-year-old section. It was hard to believe how all us boys were dressed formal yet we were trained our whole lives to fight.

Leanne welcomed everyone and played the announcement video and then went to the females jar and picked a name.

"Celeste Lane" she called.

A girl my age stepped up. She had dark skin and wavy black hair.

"Your name sounds familiar" she says cheerfully.

"I'm the daughter of Margaret Lane," she said begrudgingly. "A tribute in the hunger games 17 years ago."

"Well, I hope you'll become the new victor," said Leanne smiling. "Now for the boys."

She reached into the jar and pulled out an envelope.

"Philip Chevalier" she announced.

I walked calmly up and joined Celeste.

"Welcome our tributes for the 111th hunger games," declared Leanne. "Celeste Lane and Philip Chevalier."

Author's note; I am accepting a few select your own tributes. But I do have the whole story planned out, so they are limited.
