Hope you all like this chapter they are making plans for the concert and carnival. Then they're going back home to the states.
Wow Ana was thunderstruck when she met Mr, George Strait. Christian had never seen her at a loss for words. What did you all think of George Strait coming to sing for Ana and Christian? Granmomma and all of their family were amazing for setting that lovely night up for them. George is also going to do their concerts in Italy and in the states isn't that awesome. Now on with Chapter 20
When we left they were all going to bed. Ana got rooms for George and his band and the next morning everyone was awestruck when they saw George Strait. They were like Ana and didn't know what to say again. But granmomma and gran they sure did. No one was expecting to be there for breakfast. But leave it to Ana to surprise them.
"Good morning George, how was your night and did you call that lovely wife of yours and tell her that Ana had you stay the night here in the hotel and not on that old bus hum?"
"Yes granmomma Sadie I sure did and the guys called their ladies to."
Gran comes as quick as you please to stand beside granmomma.
"Mr. Strait, very nice to see you again."
"Well, it's very nice to see you this morning. My you and granmomma are full of energy this morning. It was very nice meeting you last night gran Adele and Theo. How are you doing sir?"
"I am right as rain young man."
"Everyone, it is very nice to see you all again. Let us enjoy this wonderful meal we have before us."
They all sat down and ate a big breakfast and then they saw George and his band to their bus.
"Mr. Strait, thank you for coming on such short notice."
"It was my pleasure Paula and no one says no granmomma Sadie and gets away with it."
"Oh yes sir you have that right."
They all laughed.
"Well you all have a safe drive to the airport and we will see you all at the concert in Italy."
"Thank you Ana very much and yes we are looking forward to both of them. You all take care and we will see you all later. Oh by the way, these are for now."
They got on the bus and left.
Ana opened the first box and found all kinds of different shirts that were for this concert and the one in the states.
"Oh my look at these t-shirts? We can either sell them before the concert here or give them away. What do you all think we should do?"
"I think I would give them away a couple of days before the concert. That way everyone knows George Strait will be here."
"Yes Gail, I like that idea. I really didn't want to sell them."
"Who told him the dates for the concerts? I know I didn't."
"Well that would be me angel. Granmomma wanted him to know. So she made the call and I told him."
"So you knew he would be here?"
"No love, I had no idea. I was as surprised as you were last night."
"Granmomma you are a sneaky monkey."
"Well yes, yes Annie Rose I guess I am."
"Alright you all, are we packed and ready to go or are we staying and sightseeing some more?"
They all said they were ready to go home. So they loaded up the bus to drive back to their home.
Everyone was asleep by the time Dav got them home.
"Ana, Chris we are home."
When he said that everyone woke up.
"Oh wow I didn't mean to fall asleep."
"Don't worry about Perry. I think we all nodded out."
"I guess we were all tired. Dang I missed the lovely countryside. Oh well I have pictures from yesterday."
"Maddie you are something else girl. You know that?"
"Well of course I am Little Annie Rose otherwise you wouldn't love me."

They are all laughing as they leave the bus.
"Paula, after you unpack and rest some I need to see you in my office."
"Ok I'll see you in a little while. Is there something wrong?"
"Oh no as matter of fact Dav, Jason, Christian, Luke, Nck. Tony. Oh hell all the security that you can spare Dav. I just want to go over some things before we go home to South Carolina. I want to have everything ready and in tip top shape for the both concerts. I just feel like I need to do this as soon as possible so there will not be any mistakes. Because we have some of the country's best performers coming to participate for these causes and I do not want anything to go wrong."
"I understand Ana and I am sure you have a list for us to go by?"
"You can bet your bottom dollar I do."
"I just want it to go off without a hitch you all know what I mean?"
"Yes Ana we do and I we are in the process of hiring more security. We have Bertelli security and his guys in Paris to help us. We are bringing some of our and Chris's guys over here for this concert. We want to protect each and everyone of the singers. I know they will have their security with them. But more never hurt."
"Ana, may Ray and I sit in on this meeting? We have some things to tell you about where the concert will be held and more protocol from the higher ups in Italy. They want to make sure everything is on the up and up and no one gets hurt."
"Of course y'all can grandpa. I was going to ask you two because y'all are the ones that talked to the government officials here."
"Alright baby girl, we will see you all in a few hours. Does that work for all of you?"
"Yes grandpa it does." they all say.
They all walk off to their rooms to get everything taken care of.
"Alright everyone, as soon as this meeting is over we will have supper. Now you all go and rest and do whatever you want to for about three hours."
"Annie Rose, what are we having? Adele and Gail are going to help me get everything ready."
"I was thinking," Spaghetti I have the sauce in the freezer I made last week and there is frozen garlic bread in there beside it. How does that sound to you all?"
"Oh yes, it sounds good."
"Hey Elliot, I need you to join us. I think we need to put up barriers for the singers and you are just the man to get the job done."
"Alright I will be there. Where are you having it?"
"Elliot, it is going to be at the old fair grounds. We have a blueprint of the land."
"Alright thank you grandpa and I need to look at that before we have the meeting so I know what to tell Ana."
"I will give you the blueprints. Come to my room and I will have them there."
"Ok grandpa see you in a little bit."
After everyone went on their way.
"Ana love are you worried something is going to go wrong?"
"Christian things happen all the time. I am sure we have enough security to protect everyone and the musicians have their own."
"Ok so we are going home next week then coming back here in three weeks to get everything ready for the concert to be held two weeks later?"
"Yes love because we don't want to start now and heaven forbid someone come on the fairgrounds and destroy what we have put up. You know we are having a slide, a dunk tank, a pie eating contest, we also have a carnival coming in. Daddy will tell us all about that at the meeting."
"Ok I see what you are saying and yes we don't want to put anything up and leave it even with security around the place. Yes it will be better to do it closer to the time for the concert."
"Alright Annie everyone should be here within the next few minutes. I saw them all heading this way. Where do you want to have this meeting? I think your office will be too small to accommodate everyone. How about the on the back deck it's huge?"
"Yes daddy I was thinking the same thing. I realized that we are having the majority of security here for the meeting. Christian will you help set out refreshments and snacks? It was a long ride back here and I am pretty sure everyone will be thirsty and hungry before we are through with the meeting."
"Yes love, what are we having?"
"There is coffee, tea, water and fresh lemonade I just made a while ago."
"Daddy will take these folders and put them on the table out there for me?"
"My lord Annie what is all of this?"
"Very important things we all need to know. Feel free to look at them before the others get here if you want to."
Ray starts looking through one of the folders and he is impressed with what he sees. How she has outlined everything and where everything will be here for the concert and in the states.
"Very nice if I must say so myself Annie. You know exactly what you want and need for these two concerts to work and nothing to happen at them."
"Thank you daddy. Now let's see what everyone else thinks?'
They all come walking into the family room and stop.
"Hey y'all we are having the meeting on the deck there is more room out there than in my office. Thank daddy for suggesting it. There are refreshments and snacks out there as well. I figured we all might be thirsty and hungry before this meeting is over."
"Thank you Ana."
"Come on, you all, let's go out on the deck."
After everyone finds a seat at the tables or the chairs Ana starts passing out folders to everyone.
Concert/Carnival Italy November 21st
Old fairgrounds-needs to check old buildings to see if they are usable and repair fences if needed.
Parking will be across from fairgrounds. There are three entrances and exits to and from the parking area and must have 2 security guards at each entrance and exit.
Handicap parking access.
Must have 2 security guards at the ticket booths for paying customers. Wristbands must be worn and they will be red for adults, purple for children under 13 and green for children 13 and older.
Must have 2 security guards for RSVP booths and they must have a blue wristband or they are not RSVPs.
Everyone will go through the metal detectors, no exceptions. I do not care who they are.
Security will recheck the rides after each use. We do not need anyone getting hurt or stuck on a ride.
Carnival- this is what I have and Ray will talk more about it if you need more information.
We will have a dunk tank, slide, bouncy house, and an artist for drawing pictures. A pie and hotdog eating contest. Bobbing for apples.
There will be food trucks set up by the locals and the carnival will have their own food trucks.
There will be a petting zoo. Please make sure the sign says Parents Hold Your Child's Hand. We don't want anyone getting bit or lost.
The carnival will have their own games and rides like all carnivals normally do.
There will be some surprised guest singers. I will tell you about them all later. I am still verifying what time they will arrive. They will be the last groups entertaining.
Hotel GH Palazzo Suite and Spa has already been booked for the duration of the entertainers stay. The hotel is closed to visitors.
The entertainers will arrive three days prior to the concert.
Ray will inform us about the arrival time of Carnival and Theo will inform us about the use of the land. What can be put where and so forth.
Security please be sure to check with the electric company that we will have power. Elliot, be sure to check the wiring.
"Please look through this and tell me your thoughts. I have been working on this for a while now. I believe I have everything in order. I just want each of you to check over what I have written down. I have the details for both here and in back home. The one I want you to look at now is the one for here. Take the folder with you when you all leave the meeting and look it over so you will be familiar with both will discuss back home later."
She takes a seat beside Christian and drinks her lemonade. Christian is reading the papers in his folder and looks once in a while smiling.
She has no idea what everyone is thinking or what her husband is thinking. All he is doing is reading and smiling.
After everyone lays their folders down Ana takes a deep breath.
"Alright I want everyone's honest opinion on what I have put together? This first folder is for Italy. I have the States folder I will give out after we talk about this concert."
"Alright now everyone knows the concert and carnival will be at the old fairgrounds. Elliot, you have looked over the land and blueprints. Do you think it is possible to have it there and are any of the buildings worth fixing up? I know they had an auditorium there at one time for indoor activities."
'Yes I looked at it a while ago when I went over there. I believe I can hire some local help here and fix it up for the concert. They have balcony seats and floor seats. I am guessing the floor seats were used for the more expensive tickets and the balcony was for the less expensive seats."
"Yes Elliot I agree with you that it would work if it doesn't take too much to fix it up. If it does we can do something else. Maybe build a concert stage?"
There are three levels of balconies that go all around the top of the auditorium and can possibly be used. I will have to check it out and see how sturdy they are. I am surprised really by how well the building is holding up after so many years. They knew what they were doing when they built it, that's for sure."
"Elliot do yo know the occupancy of the building? We don't want to put too many people in there. We don't want a Fire hazard and the people shouldn't be over the limit."
"Yes Chris the total is twenty two hundred. It is as big as an Opera House and laid out just like one. I am thinking at one or another they might have held Operas there and not just concerts."
"Wow, that is amazing. Hopefully it is in good condition."
"I will take some of the local guys with me tomorrow and we will check everything out and see what we might need to make it work for us."
"Good thank you."
"Alright what do you all think? I hope the auditorium will work because we need the concert to be inside. It will be getting cool in November."
"Yes, I believe it will be a little lady. Like I said these people know how to build and they use the best wood and products for their money. They don't skimp on anything as we have all seen from the places we have visited."
"Ana the security is good for all points. I will give you and Chris a list of their names. Now we are using Bertelli Security that is here. Do you all want to use their other company in Paris?"
"Yes we are using Bertelli here and if we use his other company in Paris you better make damn sure they know the rules. I will not have what happened last time happen again. Luke Sawyer, where are you? You need to tell them it won't go as easy as last time. Am I making myself clear?"
"I am right Ana and yes ma'am I will make sure they know how it will be. I am still sorry about what happened before. She is still in jail and it will only be men security. We have our own female security for the ladies that need to be excused."
"No need to apologize again Luke, it wasn't your fault and thank you."
"Daddy, what can you tell us about the Carnival? I know I mentioned some things but you know more than I do."
"First of all they are from Florence and do not have to travel too far. They are just a hop, skip and a jump from us. The name of their Carnival is Playful Palooza. There will be twelve trucks carrying the rides. There will be ten vehicles pulling ten food wagons. There will be a dozen vehicles pulling wagons with games, toys for everyone to enjoy."
"Guys I need all these vehicles checked before they enter the gates. We do not need any stragglers coming in that do not belong with the carnival. Please make sure you check all ID's and the owner Mr. Ramon Augusta. Do you all understand?"
"Yes sir Ray."
"Annie and everyone, the Carnival will arrive a week before we open the gates for the concert and carnival. They have to set up and make sure everything is safe and in working order. I would like some of our guys to check in with them once in a while and make sure everything is being set up right."
"Yes sir we can do that."
"Elliot as Annie said make sure we have electricity a week prior to the concert for the carnival to set up. I would like for you to check the wiring in the buildings and the rides. You never know when one might be worn or broken."
"Yes Ray got that covered tomorrow when we check out the buildings."
"Thank you."
"Theo the floor is yours."
"Alright now Ray and I spoke with the local officials here and as long as we agreed to their terms they let us use the fairgrounds. Their terms were simple. They want us to make sure everything is nice and clean when we depart their fairgrounds. Any holes dug or anything damaged that wasn't before to repair it and cover holes back up with dirt. They would like for us to be out of there no later than the third week of December."
"We can do that grandpa. We will be out of there by the end of the second week."
"Alright now Elliot you have looked at the lay of the land. You saw on the blueprints where they have markings in red? You do not pass those markings."
"Yes I saw that I know that is where the fairground land ends. We have to make sure the carnival people know about that. That means not putting their home anywhere that far back."
"Yes thank you. Are you going to have to build a place for the petting zoo?"
"Yes I think I am, there is a small building to the south side of the fairgrounds but not sure if we can use it. There is no heat in it. So we would have to use space heaters inside so the children, parents and animals can stay warm."
"Ana, how many animals are we having in the petting zoo?"
"No more than five or six. A cow, a pony, a pig and a few more."
"Is that big enough for that amount Elliot? With the kids and parents walking around looking at them."
"Yes, that will work. I figured it would be more than that."
"No El I didn't want too many because the carnival will have their own animals to show the kids and I didn't want to step on any toes."
"I understand that so we will be good with space heaters?"
"Yes as long as they are away from the animals and children."
"We can fix that where they will be up and out of the way."
"Alright then that will work. Now another question: I need a building for the artist that is going to draw pictures of people. They can't be out in the cold and they can't be in the same building as the animals."
"I think I have just the building for that. I will show you tomorrow if you can come with me?"
"Yes I can thank you."
"Alright I think that covers everything with Elliot.'
"Paula do you have anything to add or are we good?"
"Well Annie you have everything covered but I would like to ask if you are just going to have security in all the booths to check people in and take money?"
"Oh I'm sorry Paula I should have said that we are having some of the waitresses and waiters that we have gotten close to help us out. They are vetted and they are Chef Ronaldo's grandchildren. I was going to mention that when I got confirmation from Chef Ronaldo that he was going to let them take the time off. Because it will be a busy time for his restaurant with the holidays coming up."
"Alright, thank you. I didn't know how you were going to handle that."
"Thank you for asking because we need to confirm with Chef. As of right now he sees no problems as he has more grandkids and great grandkids willing to help him out at the restaurant."
"Alright I will talk to him before we come back from South Carolina."
"Ok, that will work."
"Alright the meeting is almost over. Is there anything anyone needs to add?"
"Are we flying them here in the big luxury jet or are they all flying on their own? If we are flying them we need to have it ready after we come back from South Carolina."
"Thank you dav for mentioning that. We will let you know after Paula handles it."
"Alright no problem."
"Paula, you now have a personal assistant whose name is Joan Goldman. I need you to get in touch with her before we leave here so y'all can communicate with the singers personal assistants for travel arrangements. If you need more help let me know?"
"Joan wasn't she in high school with us?"
"Yes ma'am she was."
"I thought I recognized the name."
"Yes, when I went to Harvard she went to the University of Texas. She has been vetted. I talked to her last week and she has accepted my offer. Now until we are back in the states permanently she will travel with us. She already knows this. She will be arriving in South Carolina a few days before we arrive."
"Ok wow I haven't seen her in forever. I am happy for her and it will be nice to see her and work with her. I am sure you told her we have both retired from the FBI?"
"Yes she knows all about that. I need for you to talk to her to make arrangements at my apartment building in Charleston for our guests to stay until they leave for their jobs overseas."
"Alright I will do that in the morning when I talk to her tomorrow."
"Jason you and Dav and the guys are getting everything squared away for the big event here right?"
"Yes Ana we are. We are working together to make sure there aren't any problems. I have a question: are your FBI friends going with us when we fly home?"
"Oh no they are leaving in a few days. Their vacation time is over and they have to go back home."
"Alright we will arrange travel arrangements for them all to get back to the states. One jet will take them home."
"Thank you Jason now I see why Christian can't do without you. Just like I can't do without Dav."
"We are adjourned. I have always wanted to say that. Now let's go eat. I do believe they went ahead and cooked for us."
Just as they were walking back in the house granmomma was coming out.
"Wow that was a long meeting. I take it you are all done?"
"Yes ma'am and we are starving. Did you all go ahead and cook?"
"Yes Annie Rose we did and made two chocolate cakes."
Christian's eyes lit up like new money.
"Thank you granmomma."
He walks over and gives her a hug and a kiss on her cheek.
They all walk in the house and grab a plate and find a place to sit down and eat.
"Where are our guests?"
"They decided to eat at their homes tonight. Said we needed a break from them."
"Oh my goodness I feel bad that they think that way."
"It'll be alright love, we can invite them for breakfast. We will make our famous breakfast burritos and your mouth watering hashbrowns."
"Well alright."
They all sat down and ate supper and talked about going home.
"I am going to miss this place when we leave."

"Granmomma do you remember Joan Goldman? She went to school with Paula and I."

"Well she is going to be Paula's personal assistant."

"Well she was working for Amazon until headhunted her for us. She also has degrees in finance and I am sure she can help Paula out."
"I am sure she can and will. So will we see her when we go home?"
"Yes ma'am and she will be traveling with us until we go back home to South Carolina permanently."
"Wow, that is wonderful and I am glad Paula will have someone helping her. She has been as busy as you. You both need a little break."
"Oh we will have one when these concerts are finished. Right now we have to stay on the ball."
"Christian come let's take a stroll in the moonlight. It is a beautiful night."
"Do you need a sweater angel?"
"Yes please go and bring me one and get one for yourself. It is a little cooler than I thought."
She glances over at Gail for a second and Gail quickly nods her head so Christian can't see it.

They walk outside holding hands and Ana is leading him toward the treehouse. He looks at her and smiles then back at the treehouse. He notices it is lit with tiny fairy lights and there are small lights on the ground leading to the treehouse elevator.

He takes her wine and his and sets them on the table. He takes her hand and kisses the of her hand, her fingers and turns her hand over and places little kisses on her palm. He then hears her moan. He looks up at her with the same look of love that she has besotted on him just now and so many times before.
"Christian this is our night. I am going to show you how much I love you, how much you mean to me. You are my life, my love, my Boo, My Christian. They all came and ate breakfast. Spent the day today. Just sitting around and talking and some of Ana's FBI friends told about some of the cases they had that were finished.
Elliot was talking about what all was going on at the plant and how much more had been done. He said by the time they get there it will be completely finished.
Paula told her that she has called the employees back and they are raring to get back to work. She had Joan help her. Paula is Ana's right hand; she helps out with the concert and the company until Ana brings another P.A. in for herself.
Everyone is looking forward to going home and the FBI crew don't want to leave. Christian and Ana are going to miss them all.
The next day is the day for goodbyes.
"I am going to miss you all so much. You have to keep in touch with us. You all will be here for the concerts right? if not this then the one in South Carolina for sure?"
"We are going to miss you. Yes, one or the other we will let you know."
They all say.
"Alright well the bus is waiting and so is the jet. You all have a safe trip home and let us know you made it safely. Miss you and love you all."
The ladies all hugged and cried, the men just shook hands and patted each other on the back.
"Barney, are you two coming to South Carolina next week? We need to work a few things out if you have time."

They all leave and now it is just family, doctors and nurses. Oh yeah security can;t ever forget them guys.
They are having a nice lunch and sitting and talking about what they are going to do when they get home.
"I am going to sleep for a day. Then I am going to eat and go sit in the sun."

"Everyone, the apartments in Charleston are ready for you all. Just give them your name at the desk and sign in. They will give you a code and you can change it. There are no locks on the door. They need to know who is there in case of an emergency or fire."
"Alright, are we all ready to go in the morning?"
Yes we are."
The night went fast and the morning is here. They are not eating at home, they are having breakfast sent to the jet.
They all have gotten on the bus and will be arriving at the airport to go home.
They all are preparing to get on the jet. They all walk up the steps and speak to the Captain and the flight personal and take their seats.
"This is your Captain speaking. Sit back and relax. We have breakfast that will be served as soon as the seat belt light goes off. Thank you and we will be in the air approximately sixteen hours."
They were served a wonderful breakfast from Chef Ronaldo's.
