Hey folks! Happy Early Valentine's Day! How about a new chapter of "Through the Rough" to celebrate?

In all seriousness, I'm super excited that we're getting closer to Season 2. There's so much that I want to get to and start looking at, along with all the original storylines that I've started thinking of. There's also the adaptation of the first movie, too, so that'll be something!

Anyways, enough rambling from me! Here's the latest "Through the Rough" chapter!

"Are you gonna be okay?" Rebecca asked worriedly, seeing Izuku move his elbow guard over his left hand to conceal his broken fingers.

"Yeah, I think I will be..." he replied through a wince. She gave him a light grin as they waded through the water alongside Tsuyu and Minoru. With the villains all stuck together thanks to the Pop Off Quirk user's balls, the four students now had the chance to regroup with their friends at the entrance. The only thing was, they'd have to pass through the pavilion, where Shota was still fending off villains.

"So what's our next move?" the Frog Quirk user questioned to her comrades.

"I guess... we'll have to get through the pavilion..." Izuku answered after a moment, "Mister Aizawa might need help against those villains..." he mentioned, putting his right hand onto his chin.

"WHAT?!" Minoru exclaimed in disbelief.

"I don't think that's a good idea, Izuku..." Rebecca admitted, folding her arms underneath her chest, "Aside from the fact that he wanted us to leave with the others, there's..." she started to say, trembling a little. Noticing, the One For All inheritor blinked in realization, giving off a worried look.

"What's wrong, Bluegarden?" Tsuyu asked, putting a finger onto her cheek. The Leaper Quirk user blinked before glancing away ashamedly. She wasn't sure what to say. Would the others even believe her story? She knew Izuku did, but...

"Huh..." she exhaled, resigning herself to say what she needed to, "I... need to tell you something..." she said, causing Tsuyu and Minoru to blink in surprise.

"Huh... huh..." Eijiro breathed as he, Katsuki and Weisz had dealt with all of the villains in the Collapse Zone.

"Damn, what a waste of ammo..." the Machina Maker Quirk muttered, reloading his rifle, "Should've just gone with a flamethrower..." he grumbled before setting his weapon onto his back.

"Hey, you did a lot to help, Steiner," Eijiro assured, getting his attention, "But man... we really screwed up back there..." he admitted while rubbing the back of his head.

"Huh?" Katsuki uttered from nearby, "The hell do you mean, dumb hair?" he questioned, arching an eyebrow.

"We attacked that warp villain with Granbell!" the Hardening Quirk user pointed out, "If we didn't go and do that, we might not have gotten the whole class caught up and separated!" he exclaimed in frustration.

"Hmph," Katsuki huffed out, "Then let's go and take out that warping bastard," he decided, "And as for the rest of our class..." he continued before grabbing onto a camouflaged villain's head and blasting him into unconsciousness, "they'll be fine if they have to deal with small fry like these guys," he assured confidently, having a much softer look than normal.

"Wow..." Eijiro uttered in amazement, "Didn't think you'd be so calm and rational about this..." he admitted, thinking about how violent the Explosion Quirk user usually was.

"I'M ALWAYS CALM AND RATIONAL, YOU RED-HAIRED LOSER!" he shouted back angrily.

"Ah, there it is," Eijiro noted.

"You two can deal with that warp villain," Weisz chimed in, getting their attentions, "I've got my own business to attend to..." he declared firmly, thinking about the sight of Sibir.

FLASHBACK

"You're never gonna be able to hold your own if you can't master that power..." Sibir noted to Weisz, who was sitting upon the ground and breathing heavily.

"Hey, I use this Quirk better when it's by feel!" he shouted back, "Besides, why would I ever use guns like this?" he inquired, staring at the set of firearms he had been remodeling laid out in front of him.

"It's to help protect you, Weisz," Sibir pointed out, "Besides, I promised your mom that-"

"Don't say it," Weisz interjected, looking away, "I'm... not some helpless kid..." he claimed, blushing a little.

"Heh," the bald man chuckled out, grinning a little, "You definitely won't be after I'm done with ya," he promised, reaching his right hand out to the Machina Maker Quirk user. With a reluctant sigh, he took it, allowing his friend to pull him back up. "Say, if you don't wanna use guns..." he began curiously, "what kinda weapon would you wanna even use?" he inquired, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Well... uh..." Weisz stuttered as he blushed, rubbing the back of his head, "Maybe... some kind of armored suit?" he suggested with a shrug.

"AHAHAHAHAHA!" Sibir laughed aloud, "Like that 'Iron Man' from the movies?!" he guessed, cackling still. With an embarrassed huff, the Machina Maker Quirk user turned away. "Hey," his friend said, putting a hand onto his shoulder to get his attention, "If anyone can do it..." he began, "it'd be you," he assured confidently.

END FLASHBACK

"Wait, Steiner..." Eijiro said, trying to get the Machina Maker Quirk user's attention, "do you... know one of the villains?" he inquired, causing Katsuki to blink in surprise as he looked over to their classmate. He balled his trembling hands into fists.

"It's complicated..." he vaguely answered before walking off.

"Magimech Attack..." Shiki began to bellow as he placed his right palm against the ground, having markings appear along his entire arm, "Gravity Wave!" he exclaimed. All of a sudden, several of the villains found themselves pulled in by the change in gravity, heading straight for the Satan Gravity user and his classmates.

"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Denki screamed in a panic, "What the heck, man?!" he yelled out, "Why're you bringing 'em right to us?!" he asked frantically. Shiki cracked a grin, lifting his right leg as a green aura wafted off from it.

"Gravity Windmill Kick!" he shouted, slamming it hard into one of the villains before sending him crashing into about a dozen others.

"Whoa..." Kyoka uttered out of amazement.

"That really is an impressive Ether-Type Quirk..." Momo noted, "And Granbell's well-trained, given that he hasn't expended all he could use yet..." she mentioned, watching the Satan Gravity Quirk user fly about to not only avoid enemy attacks, but also tackle down his foes, "The way he moves is almost like the Demon King Hero, Ziggy..." she added aloud, narrowing her eyes.

"Wait a sec..." the Earphone Jack Quirk user chimed in, "He said he inherited his Quirk from his grandpa, right?" she guessed, arching an eyebrow, "I wonder if..." she started to infer.

"Watch out!" Momo yelled, hopping over to kick back an incoming villain before knocking another one away with her staff.

"AAAHH!" Denki shrieked as he ran to avoid getting swiped by their foes, "Seriously, give me something to use here!" he requested of the girls.

"Quit being a damn damsel in distress, dumbass!" Kyoka shouted back, "Just zap them all!" she insisted.

"And give you guys shock treatment?!" the Electrification Quirk user questioned back rhetorically, "Yeah, no thanks!" he yelled, evading another villain's attack as he stumbled back, "HELP!" he screamed. Overhearing, Shiki perked up before punching another foe away. He whipped around and reared his right arm back, forming a condensed sphere of gravitational energy upon his right fist.

"Magimech Attack..." he started to bellow, "GRAVITY CANNON!" he roared, unleashing a powerful blast towards the trio of villains about to pounce upon Denki. It slammed into them, sending them crashing into the nearby rocks in a flurry of dust.

"Th-Thanks, Granbell..." Denki stuttered with gratitude, giving off a sheepish grin.

"Damn, the dude's strong..." Kyoka commented.

"It's ready!" Momo called out before knocking another villain back, "Granbell, come over!" she yelled to the Satan Gravity Quirk user, causing him to blink in surprise.

"Uh, sure!" he responded, quickly floating up and flying back over, landing beside the Creation Quirk user, "What's going on?" he asked in confusion. He and Kyoka then noticed the large bulge coming from the Creation Quirk user's back as it glowed in a multicolored light.

"It takes a while... to make an object this big!" she pointed out before a huge blanket burst out from her back, falling over her, Kyoka, and Shiki. It was actually a sheet of insulation that was quite thick. And thanks to that, Denki didn't need to worry back as he went ahead and zapped every villain in the area with his electricity.

"Whoa..." the Satan Gravity Quirk user uttered out afterwards, "You're amazing, Momo!" he exclaimed with sparkles in his eyes while still under the blanket. However, Kyoka slapped a hand over his eyes as he yelped in surprise.

"But uh... you're looking a little overexposed right now..." she pointed out to the Creation Quirk user, whose costume had been ripped as a result of making the blanket. She quickly created a new one for herself before she and the others exited the blanket, discovering Denki stumbling about with his thumbs up.

"Wheee..." he uttered, having a dopey look upon his face.

"Pfft...!" Kyoka sputtered out, trying not to laugh. Shiki was prepared to bust a gut over the scene, but then saw the hand shoot up from the ground.

"Denki!" he cried out, quickly flying over to the Electrification Quirk user. He grabbed ahold of him in the nick of time, evading the villain that popped out with a skull-like mask over his face.

"Damn brat!" he yelled in frustration. He failed to notice Kyoka plugging her left earlobe jack into the speaker at her boot. She unleashed a powerful blast of sound, causing him to wince as he covered his ears with his hands. "You... little...!" he growled out, turning to face the two girls. However, that left him wide open as Shiki lunged toward him.

"Magimech Attack..." he began to bellow, getting his attention too late as he found himself struck hard in the face by the Satan Gravity Quirk user's right fist, shattering his mask to pieces, "GRAVITY FIST!" he exclaimed. He then landed down, skidding to a halt in front of Kyoka and Momo.

"Nicely done, Granbell," the Creation Quirk user complimented as Shiki stood up, "If you hadn't noticed, Kaminari might've been taken hostage..." she inferred.

"Glad to help!" the Satan Gravity Quirk user responded with a big grin as he floated up to their surprise, "I'm gonna go stop the other bad guys!" he declared before rocketing off.

"Wh-?! Hey!" Kyoka yelled.

"Let's let him go for now, Jiro," Momo advised to the Earphone Jack Quirk user, "We should get somewhere safe with Kaminari," she insisted, looking over to their overexerted classmate, who still a dopey look upon his face, "Besides..." she continued, narrowing her eyes, "if Granbell's grandfather really is Ziggy, then we may not have much to worry about at all..." she pointed out.

"This was far too easy..." Homura remarked aloud as she and Shoto stood around the several downed villains in the Landslide Zone, "It's hard to believe with so fiends, they would be incapable of besting us students..." she mentioned, "At least, that is what I would say..." she corrected, putting her left sleeve over her mouth.

"You did," Shoto chimed in, causing her to blush in embarrassment, "And you're right..." he added, looking around at the slew of villains they had bested, "By my estimates, there's probably four to five of these villains that are actually dangerous..." he said.

"You really are a cunning one..." Homura commented, getting his attention as he glanced back at her, "Ah, I did not mean to say that out loud..." she mumbled, covering her mouth with her hands.

"Hm," Shoto scoffed, turning his attention back toward the pavilion. He had a feeling that it was where the final clash would take. And he needed to be there.

"WHAT?!" Minoru exclaimed after he and Tsuyu were told by Rebecca about her nightmare, "YOU'RE SAYING YOU ACTUALLY SAW US DIE?!" he screamed in question.

"H-Hey, calm down..." Izuku stuttered insistently, holding his hands out in a placating manner.

"It was just a dream, wasn't it?" the Frog Quirk user inquired of Rebecca, who balled her trembling hands into fists.

"Yeah..." she answered with a nod, "But it felt so real..." she admitted, thinking back to the specifics of the nightmares, "Izuku's costume, the villains, the fact that it's the four of us..." she listed off, "It's giving me chills just thinking about how close we are at this point..." she mentioned.

"Then let's head right to the entrance," the One For All inheritor advised to everyone's surprise, "Mister Aizawa did give us his instructions after all," he pointed out.

"Izuku..." Rebecca uttered out, surprised that he didn't want to at least check and see how their teacher was doing. She smiled upon realizing that her best friend must've had faith in the Erasure Quirk user. And so she and the others arrived at the pavilion.

Shota seemed to have dealt with most of the villains, but was suddenly confronted by Tomura. He made his right elbow crumble just by touching him, causing Rebecca to shudder from the sight as she thought about her classmates getting turned to dust. And then the monstrous Nomu attacked, pummeling their teacher into the ground, breaking both of his arms.

"Oh my god..." the Leaper Quirk user whimpered out, covering her mouth with both hands as she trembled. But a few moments later, Kurogiri arrived upon the scene. He informed Tomura that he failed to stop one of the students from exiting the USJ and head back to the main campus for the other teachers. The pale blue-haired villain seemed very displeased as he was scratching at his neck in frustration. Ultimately, he calmed down and decided that they'd leave.

"Huh?" Minoru uttered, "You guys heard that, right?" he inquired of his classmates, "Did they just say they're gonna leave?" he questioned on.

"That's what it sounded like..." Tsuyu replied.

"Yeah..." Rebecca agreed as she nodded. A relieved expression of joy came across the Pop Off Quirk user's face as he lunged out to both girls.

"Then we don't have to fight! We're saved!" he exclaimed quietly while grabbing onto Tsuyu's right breast, which Rebecca took notice of. Both she and the Frog Quirk user went ahead to shove him down into the water out of annoyance.

"I've got a bad feeling about this, Midoriya..." Tsuyu admitted.

"Yeah, same..." Izuku responded. Why would the villains just leave even after all they had done? That question was never answered as suddenly, Tomura sped over. He held his right hand out to Tsuyu... and both Izuku and Rebecca had the same image of her disintegrating planted in their minds. Fortunately, it didn't happen.

"You really are cool..." Tomura started to say, glancing back towards where the others were, seeing a bloodied Shota glare at him while still being pinned by the Nomu, "Eraser Head..." he said. The monster slammed the teacher's head against the ground again.

"DON'T YOU TOUCH HER!" Rebecca screamed, swinging her right leg back as the marking upon it glowed brightly. Tomura had no time to react as she kicked him, making him stumble away. "We gotta run, now!" she cried out to her classmates, hurrying off with them. However, they were suddenly blocked off by the monstrous Nomu.

Without thinking, Izuku went ahead and unleashed a powerful punch onto it, resulting in a powerful whirlwind that went through the entire USJ. He realized that he hadn't broken his arm in the process, thinking that he finally gained control of his power. However... the Nomu was unharmed. Both Izuku and Rebecca were left in disbelief.

"'Smash', huh?" Tomura repeated upon overhearing the One For All inheritor's shout, "You a follower of All Might or something?" he guessed. The Nomu then grabbed Izuku, holding him in place.

"IZUKU!" Rebecca screamed in fright, quickly rearing her right leg back to try and kick the monster, but it took hold of her leg and lifted her up from the ground. Tsuyu tried to grab them with her tongue, but she was about to be disintegrated by Tomura along with Minoru as he reached his crusty hands out to them. The Leaper Quirk user teared up. Her nightmare was about to come true. But at that very moment, there a was loud blast at the entrance. She and the others looked over, slowly widening their eyes.

"I'm ashamed of myself for being unable to come sooner..." a familiar voice began as a figure stepped through the smoke, "but fear not," he stated firmly, being none other than an angered-looking All Might, "Because I am here..." he declared. Izuku and Rebecca were locked onto that enraged expression he had. He wasn't even smiling...

"Oh..." Tomura uttered, "We get a continue?" he guessed.

And so the big battle to close out the season begins! Remember, it all depends on the reviews needed to get this story updated in a timely manner! I'll see you all hopefully soon!
