Rendezvous Point
USS Hathway
Bridge

The Revenant ships all emerged from hyperspace, following quickly by the Hathway.

"Orsai, good to have you back." Nym started.

"Glad to be free."

Adi-Gallia angled her Jedi Fighter down in front of the Liberty. "Nym, we need to cut this reunion short. It won't be long before that sensor station locates you again."

"That might not be a problem for much longer." Jinkins stated. "I've found two possible targets. I'm uploading the coordinates now."

"Let's take 'em in order of appearance. Strap on your helmets and prime your laser cannons, we're moving out."

The Hathway hung back, following the Revenants at a safe distance.

"They're certainly a rambunctious bunch." Lara couldn't help but comment.

"They sure are." Pierce rubbed his head. "This could have ramifications for us if they launch a formal protest."

"A formal protest for observing an illegal operation being attacked by pirates?" Lara questioned with a raised eyebrow.

"Illegal or not, the Trade Federation has a lot of friends in the Senate." Pierce sighed. "They might try to spin this as us making a first aggressive attack on them."

"They've had over a decade of slandering to try that. It hasn't worked all the well for them." Lara pointed out.

"Still, we better inform Starfleet of this."

Opening File:

We have successfully made contact with the leader of the Revenants, Nym who has been in conflict with the Trade Federation in the Karthakk System for the past decade. Nym has shown suspicion but no hostilities to our presence. The Revenants have just mounted an attack on a prison station and are now returning to the planet Maramere to locate what is presumably a Trade Federation sensor station that allows them to detect any ships in the Karthakk System. The USS Hathway has remained neutral, observing the hostilities unless attacked which has been done by the Trade Federation. Nym and Jedi Master Adi-Gallia believe the Trade Federation is conducting an illegal weapon research project somewhere in the Karthakk System just as Starfleet Intelligence suggested.

So far, there is no sign of anything suggesting that such a weapon exists.

We are monitoring the movements of the Revanants and Jedi Master Adi-Gallia, believing they will lead us to whatever weapon that might exist.

Lucerehulk-Class Battleship

A single starfighter approached the Lucrehulk class battleship that hung in low orbit of the planet. A pair of battle droids watched as the fighter landed in the docking bay and one rushed to inform the commanding officer who was already present.

A Neimodian named Harro Ruuk.

The other battle droid remained behind, watching as the rear hatch opened, allowing the pilot and his co-pilot, a Twi-lek to step down onto the ramp.

Harro Ruuk rushed to greet them. "Captain Toth, your arrival is most unexpected."

"I protect my investments." Toth simply said, slipping a black glove onto his hand. "My sources tell me the resistance movement has crippled your operations and they have the assistance of a Federation, make that a United Federation ship assisting them."

"Your sources are unreliable, Captain." Ruuk stated. "Admittedly there is indeed a United Federation ship trespassing in the system, but I assure you, our representatives in the Senate will be launching a formal protest to this intrusion. As for the resistance, they are insignificant, and their recent attacks are only a minor setback. It did not stop us from producing a sample of the weapon as promised."

Ruuk made a gesture to his aide who stepped forward, opening a small chest to show a vial with a yellow glowing substance.

Toth looked at the chest.

"Trihexalon." Ruuk stated proudly. "We call it Dragon's Breath. It was created exactly to your specifications."

Toth reached in and picked up the vial, taking a closer look at it.

"Have you tested it?" Toth asked.

"Not yet but we believe it will be quite effective." Ruuk answered as Toth walked past him. "That vial alone could kill three hundred Wookies and it does not affect our droids. It's the perfect weapon for Dooku's new army. We can arrange a formal demons-"

"How much have you produced?" Toth cut the Neimodian off.

"A third of the original order." Ruuk answered, causing Toth to stop. "But we are re-doubling our efforts."

Toth turned and glared at Ruuk. "You're behind schedule?" Before Ruuk could reply, Toth turned away. "I will take over from here."

"That was not part of our agreement." Ruuk protested.

Without looking back, Toth threw the vial at their feet, causing them to scream before there was an explosion, vaporizing Ruuk and his aides.

Toth and his co-pilot continued on like nothing had happened.

"It seems to work." The Twi-lek commented, the cold-blooded murder appearing to have no effect on her.

"We'll still need a full scale test." Toth stated. "Load the Trihexalon onto one of the transports and prepare to launch."

The Twi-lek nodded, turning away but stopped as Toth continued.

"And get some droids to clean up this mess." Toth smiled coldly.
