We are finally going to see how the Firekeeper ends up in the city of Atlas.

Dark Souls: Tales of the other Embers

I am a Firekeeper

'I tend to the flames and tend to thee.'

Winter followed the glowing pebbles that, oddly enough, had been placed onto the ground. Some time had passed since she had been tricked by that "soldier" and, as much as she wanted to get revenge, she knew it was not yet the appropriate time. "What did you lead me to?"

She look on ahead to see the glowing pebbles becoming lesser. A thought suddenly told her she was meant to go here. Without a single word, she walked to the very last one until she reached her destination. The Specialist was taken back to what she saw. "What…what is this?"

The open area was filled with nothing but with many lit candles. It seems as though someone had been taking care of it. And they were doing a pretty good job at it.

Right before the Specialist could ponder what she was seeing, her attention immediately shifted to the right and winded. There was a person here in the same room. It was a woman, and it "looked" at her.

The woman had had long platinum-blonde hair tied up to a braid that reached her spine and wore a formal black and brown attire consisting of a Robe, Manchettes and Skirt. A well-designed metallic blindfold rested on the top half of her head was eye-catching to them, hinting that she had lost her eyesight.

"Hello, there?" The woman's voice was soothing as she talked to the Specialist. "Art, thou lost?"

"I…I suppose I am," Winter said admittedly, and she scanned the area around her. "Is there a way I can get out?"

The Firekeeper could answer that for her. "There's an exit on the other side of the room. Thou might find a way back home." Without any more time wasted, Winter quickly walked passed her and was about to head to the other side of the room when she stopped her. "Though, there is something I wish to ask thee?"

The Specialist turned around and looked at the strange lady. "And what is that?"

"May I come with thee to Atlas so I can await for the Ashen One?"

Naturally, that caught Winter by surprise and had to do a double take. "You want to come with me?"

The Firekeeper smiled at her. "Of course. I am willing to answer any questions of thine desire."

The specialist was cautious of the other woman's words. But the way she says it and her intentions were clear. "Fine, you can come with me. But don't expect to have a warm welcome."

The Firekeeper nodded and immediately followed Winter. They exited the room, and the blind lady guided her where both can exit the caves. Along the way, the Specialist can't help but to ask a question of the person the other woman was referring to earlier. "May I ask on who is this Ashen One?"

"He is a friend I have been awaiting for." She responded rather enigmatically.

This causes Winter to narrow her eyes at her. As much as she wanted to ask, she knew it wasn't the right time to pressure her. As they exited the cave systems, multiple Atlesian soldiers immediately spotted them and rushed towards the two. "They you are, Ma'am! Where were you?!"

"You are gone for at least three hours!"

"And whose this fine-looking lady?!"

Winter looked at her before looking back at the other soldiers. "She's someone that would be valuable to us. I'm taking her back to Atlas where she is going to be questioned."

At this point, I'm going to end the chapter regards to how the Firekeeper/Olivia ended up in Atlas for now. I won't delve anymore to this since it's going to drag on for a longer duration that will be unnecessary. It up to your imagination how her time will go during her first week weeks in Atlas. But that might change. I may want to write the final part before moving on. Goddamn, this is taking far too long to complete…
