Momo stared at Izuku in mild shock, the boy was currently sleeping with a goofy grin on his face while she sat at his bedside in a maid costume, just seconds earlier this boy... Her boyfriend uttered four words. These four words were not the three she was accustomed to, but another in the form of a question, a question she was not ready to hear or answer. As her brain was desperately going through a cycle of meltdown and reset. Her face was now bright red and her speech a stuttering mess, not that whatever left her mouth was coherent. A soft hum came from her lap as she became personally aware of the weight on her lap. Tired red eyes peered up at her as the small white-haired girl using her as a pillow gave her a worried expression as she spoke. "Momo-nee, are you ok? You're not sick like Izu-nii?"
Sighing Momo looked down at the horned girl putting on the brightest smile she could manage. In that moment her mind was finally back in working order though her rosy tint remained. "Sorry, Eri, did I wake you?... It's just your brother said something that surprised me." She then threw a pout at her sleeping lover, if she didn't know any better she would have thought that he had overheard the comment that her best friend Kyoka had made to the sleeping teen's mother when her, Kyoka, and Itsuka had come to visit several hours earlier. 'Why did you have to ask me that now? Though I am happy you did, I would have waited for a different time when you are not suffering from a fever. You...' Momo cut herself off with a low groan. Her attention now returns to the girl on her lap.
Rubbing the sleep from her eyes Eri gave a look of concern as her eyes fluttered between the two lovers as she replied. "Is Izu-nii okay? What do we do? Should I get Mama?" Eri said while shooting up from the older girl's lap.
Momo giggled, getting up herself, taking the eight-year-old's hand and she took on a comforting smile. "Izuku is doing just fine, see.'' She points to the sleeping one for all inheritor. "His fever hasn't broken yet but you have nothing to worry about, didn't the doctor say he would be alright in a couple of days?" Getting a sad nod from Eri she continued. "We should let him rest, come. Kyoka, Itsuka, and your mother might need our help with the chores downstairs."
Another nod came from the girl, but before she followed Momo's lead Eri let go of the larger hand and moved up to the bedside of her brother taking one of his hands into both of hers. "Get better soon Izu-nii."

The weekend before Kyoka had gathered several members of class 3-A in the library of Yuuei under the guise of putting a plan in place for their class at the school's festival. "Now that everyone's here... What are we going to do about Izuku missing yet another cultural festival?" She let the question hang in the air for anyone to answer. To her displeasure, Shoto Todoroki was the first person to answer.
"Is this what you dragged me here to discuss?" He questioned the girl. "I thought it must be something serious, you did say that you were having problems with the plans for our class' idea, and it's not the worst thing in the world that he is missing one festival.'
"One festival? This is our last year at UA... And probably one of the last times we all are going to have to chill with each other and have fun as a class, and with Izuku literally going AWOL to America two years ago for almost a year, and those villain attacks last year... Forgive me if I want to hang out with my friends in the downtime, Todoroki." The room was in stunned silence at the declaration. Taking the initiative despite the irony of the hero name Idle that became her moniker, Kyoka offers up the first suggestion to question. "What if we visit him during the festival after the school day?" She posed another.
This time a relatively new face to the group, a maroon-headed girl answered. "I don't know, Kyoka. I don't want to give anymore to Yagi-san's plate, she has enough to deal with." The teen announced. "Besides the fact that Mido is sick, and she has an eight-year-old to take care of." the group stiffed at her words. "Keep in mind that it hasn't been long since All Might passed either, so a bunch of his old students showing up out of nowhere could do some undo stress for her. This family had to deal with mourning for three separate deaths after all, even if two of them were false alarms." She said looking at a pink-haired girl tinkering with one of Izuku's LED masks.
Kyoka following her line of sight had her eyes land on the same person sporting a pixie cut and wearing a face of frustration. "What do you think Miku? You lived with Izuku for months in America. Even though you went back to the support course you are still a member of the Midoriya protection squad, like the rest of us."
"I never agreed to that." A spiky redhead boy chimed in.
Kyoka stared daggers at the boy, getting him to cower under her gaze for a bit. "Shut it Eiji." Turning her head to 'Miku' she extended her inquiry. "Yaomomo says that Izuku and his mother are a lot alike, what do you think we should do?"
The girl that Kyoka called Miku stopped what she was doing, seemingly angry at that. Her eyes landed on the head of the meeting. "Don't call me that! The name is Mei, I am not some pre-quirk idol android." She went back to her tinkering but still offered her answer. "I don't know at that time I was too preoccupied with my babies to notice much of what Izzy was doing." Mei froze for a minute remembering the promise they had made and went silent, eying Kyoka suspiciously. She said nothing else, choosing to focus on what she was doing.
'Izzy?' She thought to herself for a moment deciding to let it go, for now, she could ask Momo about Izuku's time in America later on. Momo in her eyes was bound to know something. "Are you sure? You two looked comfortable together when we saw you two on that motorcycle when we found you. Come on, you have to know something?'
Frustrated, Mei put down Izuku's mask, then ran her hand through her hair while sighing. "If it's a burden to visit, make it the opposite when you do." Mei said, looking up at the ceiling.
Kyoka's mouth morphed into a large smile. "I think that I have an idea."

Inko Yagi was just getting home from picking up hers and the late Toshinori's adoptive daughter Eri from school, stopping at a local farmer's market for some groceries. She had quickly found out how her patience had increased over the last three years. Though she hated it she understood why the need for the bodyguards that followed her around was important, Inko did not care for the attention that having them around gave her. 'The price for loving Toshi I guess, at least they leave when I'm at home.' she thought to herself her hand firmly wrapped a smiling Eri's opening the door with her free one. She took off her shoes at the entrance of their modest two-story home, as Eri did the same. A tired smile came across her face as the child organized their shoes in the shoe rack by the door. The little girl then grabbed the shopping bags, turning to move further into the house before stopping in front of kneeling Inko who was now face to face with Eri. "I can do that, you know." She bopped Eri on the nose. "I am glad you want to help. But you just got home, you should relax for a bit and let mommy take care of this. It's kind of my job after all."
Eri seemed to think it over before shaking her head with a deep frown tightening her hold on the bags. "No…" Her answer was short and firm.
Inko looked at the girl that seemed to be on the verge of a breakdown. "Listen Eri, I know you didn't know Toshi as long as Izuku and I have, but he was your father too. It's okay you are still a kid, you don't have to hold back, you can let it all out if you want to. Neither of us would blame you." Ever since Toshinori died Eri never cried, never got angry, put on fake smiles, and tried to stay on her best behavior for the last month or so.
As if the whole situation caught up with her Eri dropped the bags in her hands looking down in the process. "Mama…" Inko rushed to embrace the small girl when Eri called for her. The dam that held firm since Toshinori's death finally broke, and a torrent of tears fell as she buried her head into Inko's chest.
"There, there…" She spoke softly to the girl in her arms. "Let it all out Eri, you don't need to worry about us. If you have something to tell Izuku or me then go right ahead." The two of them stayed like that for minutes on end until Eri calmed down.
Inko was about to leave the entrance with Eri still in her arms when the doorbell rang. She turned to the door in mild confusion, running through her head the options to see who could be using it. Putting the eight-year-old down she moved to the door and opened it, pretty sure that whoever it was is someone she knew. The sight she was greeted with however was comical at best and plain strange at worst.
Inko was greeted with the sight of three teenage girls in maid costumes. A redhead who looked around nervously, a purple-haired teen that seemed to be in the best mood of the three, and her son's girlfriend who looked like she would rather be somewhere else right now. "Hello ma'am, Kyoka's maid service here and ready to serve." The purple-haired girl spoke happily with a salute.
Her bout of confusion was then put on hold as her daughter chirped with joy. "Momo-nee-chan!" The little girl ran from behind her, nearly tackling the teen to the ground. She wrapped her arms around the larger girl's waist giggling.
Momo petted the smaller girl with a smile on her face, As they separated the older one kneeled and spoke. "Long time no see Eri, me and my friends came to visit cause we heard that your brother was sick." She paused looking Eri in the eye. "And of course, I came to visit because I have missed you both." Eri responded by giving Momo another hug.
Inko's gaze softened when she saw the two embrace. "I hope you haven't had any trouble, I know you have started to take over your parents' business in your free time as of late." She paused. "If there's anything I can help with let me know."
"No, that's fine, Inko-san. Yu-san has been helping me adjust, and you have already done way too much for me as is. I can't impose on you more than that. You have opened your home to me plenty of times in the past." Momo answered, not liking the expression that read the disappointment on the mother's face.
"If you say so… " Inko said, not before turning to the other two.
Kyoka was the first to speak as she curtsied in the maid costume. "Hello, Yagi-san if you don't remember me I am Kyoka Jiro. I am in your son's class. Your husband and son have done and continued to do a lot for us and the class wanted to do something for your family while Izuku is sick." She paused, standing up straight. "We have decided to incorporate you into the festivities of our school's cultural festival. We had hoped that you could invite us into your home for several hours for the next three days. I know it might come as an inconvenience, but we are willing to cooperate with pretty much anything and submit to any guidelines that you have for us. Think of our presents as an all-encompassing service, anything from cooking and cleaning to general upkeep and chores." She punctuated her statement with a bow.
Inko looked at the three girls, from Kyoko who still had her head down, Momo was occupied with a hyperactive Eri and the redhead that was still not in the best of conditions mentally. She decided that it was best to ask. "Uhhh… what do you mean? I have trouble understanding this. And why are you all dressed as maids?"
(…)
"A cosplay café? How exactly am I supposed to sell that to the committee, Jiro?" Shoto asked a prideful Kyoka.
Kyoka laughed at his question of not offering a solution as a result. "Come on Todo, it shouldn't be that hard. We are third years and licensed heroes at that, even some of us are famous." She said pointing to herself. "Plus we are the smallest class… it should give us some preferential treatment, after what we all went through we've earned it."
Sighing Shoto got up from his seat at the large desk that the group of six had gathered. "I guess I have to come up with something, and I assume I have to tell the others that couldn't make it." He then turned to their Maroon-headed classmate with a look of surrender. "How did you put up with her as the acting Vice Rep for the class last year?"
"I didn't… She kept herself busy becoming a popular 'Idol' and skipping to do any real damage." Kazue said matter-of-factly, a grin growing at Kyoka's sudden embarrassment.
"Mori-san." A desperate cry left Kyoka's lips.
With a smile on her face, Kazue turned back to Shoto. "I can help you with planning, I know what it is like when Mido is gone and you are left with no choice." Her crimson eyes flickered to Kyoka, giving her a wink as the pink spot that developed on her face widened. "I have a lot of experience over my 4 years here. I am still your paisen even though we are in the same year now, as well as Mikoto and Hanzou so don't be a stranger. Being on your own sucks."
"Right, thank you but I will be fine on my own, Mori-san." Shoto said to the girl. After he said his goodbyes he left the group.

Kyoka explained what the class was doing in addition to what the three girls were doing there. The Yagi matriarch listened but was currently having trouble digesting what was being said. "So, you wanted to help out while Izuku was sick, and since the class was doing a themed café you wanted to include us in your school's festival. Am I getting this right?"
"Yes ma'am." The girl responded.
Inko addressed the other two maids in this. "And you two, went along with it?"
"Just to be fair I did not hear about this plot before I had already decided to come. I was a bit surprised at first, but if I didn't play along she would have come by herself if need be." Momo answered.
"I was recruited by Kyoka." The redhead addressed the mother.
Inko sighed, mostly deciphering what was going on. "This is a really roundabout way of visiting, you know."
Kyoka developed a sly grin at Inko's words, it was a chance to embarrass the other two while making her intentions known to her best friend. "I wouldn't say that ma'am, I see this as a chance for you to assess your potential daughters-in-law's homemaking skills." Her grin was now ear-to-ear.
Anyone could see that Inko was using most of her brain power to process that statement. "Huh..." was all that left her mouth.
The redhead looked at Kyoka on the verge of a panic attack, she had no idea that her friend was now looking deviously at her and Momo as well as having the ability to say that. "Kyoka!" She was the first to say something, and it was in absolute shock.
"You know you are playing into her hands right Isuka? That's the type of reaction that she was wanting." Momo answered with her arms holding Eri in a light embrace.
"What's a daughter-in-law?" Eri looked up at Momo asking in mild confusion.
Kyoka however was the first to answer, kneeling in front of the eight-year-old. "It means that like your mom and dad, we are going to become a family after we marry your brother making us your new big sisters..." She paused, noticing the little girl's face light up. "And maybe one becoming a mommy and daddy to a little girl or boy like you."
Eri looked between the three maids bouncing excitedly, much to Kyoka's amusement. "Woah, more big sisters like Mei-chan." As soon as the words left Eri's mouth Kyoka tried her best to stop from frowning, something did happen between Mei and Izuku overseas and she had to get to the bottom of it, but that can wait.
Meanwhile, Inko decided it was best to ignore all of that last interaction. 'Toshi and Izuku never acted like Izuku was popular with girls after that girl in his first-year class and Momo. I thought that those two were special cases, but it turns out I was wrong.' She thought sighing. "In any case come on in girls." she moved aside to let them in. "It's better that you all come inside. We can talk about what everyone can do after." She finished watching the girls come in one by one. She saw that Momo mouthed a quick apology after being the last to enter the house, the mother just smiled back putting the teen at ease. 'This is going to be an interesting weekend.' She thought to herself closing the door behind her.

Day 2 Part 1: Traveling Ronin
"Read this one Izu-nii!" An excited Eri ran up to a now mostly recovered Izuku's bed with a pre-quirk graphic novel that he had picked up in his time in America, a symbol of a bat in the shape of a man on the cover. Not giving a care about him basically being bedridden the day before she took purchase on his lap as he sat cross-legged on his bed. She let out a content squeal when he took the book and opened the comic in front of them both.
Izuku flipped a few pages until he was at the beginning of the story before looking up at a girl with a pink pixie-cut working on the mask of his hero costume at his desk. "And why couldn't you read for her, Mei?" He asked his long-term friend and support specialist.
[Because she asked for you, master.] A mature computerized voice came from his phone sitting next to Mei connected by a cable to said girl's laptop.
"What she said." Mei replied in a monotone voice.
At that Eri looked up at her brother with the biggest puppy dog eyes that Izuku has probably ever seen. "Is something wrong? Can't you read for me?" She looked at the point of a breakdown as Izuku put a hand on her white locks that now matched his, in which hers were natural.
"No it's alright, I can read. So don't look at me like that." Izuku replied by running his hand through her hair a couple of times. Izuku then turned his attention to the book, forcing the little girl to do the same. He began to read the English on the page translating for her as Eri looked at the art with awe. She liked the stories of this hero, even though he didn't have what would be considered a Quirk back then. When he thought about it this was what he wanted to be before he met All Might, a 'Quirkless hero', all though by the standards set by this hero he doubted it. Though he himself did not see it Eri did, she said that this bat hero reminded her of her big brother Izu. So there he was placating Eri's need to have him read her these stories, although he would try to avoid the more racier issues by introducing her to the rest of the universe that this character belong to with moderate success. After getting halfway through he really hopes that he could find some of this in Japanese, if he was honest his English was just barely fluent.
[Master you have a call, and it's from Miss Yu.]
Izuku looked up from the book getting Eri to vacate his lap, she knew who Yu was and understood that this might be important. With a little disappointment she folded the corner of the page of the book, returning it to its place on the bookshelf for later. He moved past the desk getting Mei to pass him his phone, it vibrating in his hands. He waited to answer it until he was out of the room. "Hello." Izuku said after answering the call.
'Well if it isn't my future sidekick, are you feeling better?' The woman on the other end responded.
Izuku nearly face palmed as the retired hero Mount Lady spoke, she had once convinced herself of the sidekick nonsense before she retired after the war with the league. "I thought you were retired Yu-san."
'Actually that's what I am calling about. Wait, have you not seen Momo? I would have figured that you, your mother, and the girls would have been the first people she would want to see after returning to Japan.'
The Midoriya-Yagi family were the only people she had left in Japan after her parents died, even keeping Inko's spirits high after pretty much everyone thought him and Mei were dead, it was something he had thought he would never repay her for even before they had started dating. He did not answer Yu however and she had to press him on the silence as he was in his thoughts.
'Hello? You still there? Izuku? If you don't answer me I will hang up and be grumpy. And who knows what I might do after.'
The veiled threat brought him back to the present. "Please don't." He answered in a panicked tone.
'There you are, don't worry Izuku, I wouldn't do anything that would have long lasting effects, anyhow as I was saying I am coming out of retirement in the next year.'
Izuku took some time to process what she had just said, Mount Lady losing her Quirk during the war. "Wait how?"
'So, you haven't seen Momo yet, well I can not go into detail over the phone but you know her... Better than I do.' Yu yarning mid-sentence.
"Oh, right..." Izuku thought about the events leading to him leaving the country, and the fact that thanks to her, a Quirkless Himiko Toga joined their class last year as a 'transfer'. "So she was comfortable using that Quirk again." Izuku sighed before commenting on the yarn he heard over the phone. "You tired?"
'Nah it's around... nine so... So did you really not see your girlfriend? She was all excited to see you when she left LA.'
"Yeah?... I did not see her, but she was here yesterday, I was kind of out of it so I don't remember." Izuku said sheepishly.
'Right your fever. You did not answer me, Izuku. How are you feeling?'
Izuku thought it over before answering. "I still feel under the weather but I am alright. For the most part."
'That's good, I just wanted to see how you were, it's late, but before you go back to your recovery. Are you planning to see that little brunette of yours?'
"Who Ochako? A bit late to ask that isn't it?" Izuku said thinking of his ex who he had been traveling with to her doctors appointments for the past couple of months, his cash flow taking a hit after commuting to her home by motor cycle and to where ever she need by taxi. "She has no one, Yu-san." Izuku tried to defend his actions.
'You say that, but... Her parents are still there.'
"You know what I meant. Nee-san."
Izuku heard the woman on the other end chuckle before continuing her point. 'And I am saying that what happened to her is not your problem, think of our Momo. Do you think that she would like the fact that her boyfriend is going around caring for a pregnant woman that is not even carrying that same boyfriend's baby. I don't get it Izuku. Why are you so fixated on helping the woman that betrayed you?'
Izuku sighed rubbing the back of his head with the hand not holding his phone. "It's complicated." He responded. There was a pause at the other end of the line.
'Okay...' another pause. He could tell that she wanted to press him further but did not, choosing to change the subject. 'Whatever might be the case there at least your heart is in the right place. Speaking of the right place... I have a little surprise for you, and it should be on its way for today.'
Izuku thought of what that could be but his mind went blank, if it was something she had bought then Momo would have had it with her when she visited yesterday and left it with his mother. "What are you talking about? What surprise?" Izuku questioned with a bit of curiosity.
'You will see.'
(...)
Several hours had passed after Yu's phone call and Izuku was back in his room, entertaining his guest that was now currently stretching at his desk and his sister who was currently drawing on his bed. Mei let out a short breath and turned toward Izuku before unbuckling her dark green overalls revealing the cropped white tank top she was in. "You mind if I borrow your bed Izzy?" Mei questioned.
Izuku examining the question cocked his head, sitting on the bed that he presumed she wanted to sleep in. "You do realize that I have been sick all week right? Even if the bedding has been changed, I don't think it would be safe to sleep in it."
Mei made a motion as if thinking what he said over before just pressing Izuku for an answer. "Is that a yes or a no?" She said with the exhaustion clear in her tone.
Sighing Izuku grabbed Eri and vacated the bed. 'At least she is presentable this time, and she asked.' He thought back to the times that he had seen her only in her underwear probably desensitized to the sight by now. "You should actually get some rest, Mei. Try not to pull anymore all-nighters ok?'
She smiled at him with heavy eye lids before addressing Izuku. "I will try, but no promises." The girl said as the two of them traded spots, with Izuku standing next to his desk with Eri.
"let's give Mei some space."
Eri nodded up at Izuku as the pair began to leave the room. Before they had left the threshold Eri turned her head to Mei. "Goodnight Mei-chan." Eri said to the teen who smiled back in response.
The two of them left Izuku's room headed downstairs, it was a little after 13:00 as the siblings moved toward the kitchen. Inko was not in so they had to fend for themselves as Izuku had not eaten all day. "Are you hungry, Eri?" Izuku asked his little sister.
As if to respond Eri's stomach grumbled at the question of getting food, with a small blush Eri lowered her head and nodded, letting out a small hum of confirmation.
Izuku then moves with Eri to the living room were he turns on the television putting on a magical girl series that she has been enamoured with for quite some time. "I am going to find something for us to eat, I won't take long. Getting another hum he left the girl to her anime. Several minutes went by in a flash as Izuku had left for the kitchen and came back with pork cutlet sandwiches for them both taking his spot next to Eri on the sofa. They quickly ate, after Eri was finished she quickly thanked Izuku before returning to her anime being several episodes in.
After cleaning after themselves Izuku went to return to the sofa with Eri when he heard the door bell, Eri coming to see what it is. She trailed behind Izuku as he made it to the front door. Opening the door he came to view his once senpai now classmates Kazue Mori and Mikoto Mizuhara. Kazue was the first to address him while both were dressed as Samurai. "Mido, you are up and around." From how Kyoka and Itsuka described it their now white-haired classmate still had a fever and was out of it during their visit, but here he was fully alert and for the most part looked healthy.
"Yeah from how the others spoke I thought you would be still in bed." Kazue's blonde companion chimed in looking him over. "Are you sure you are ok?"
Izuku grinned to reassure them, answering. "Wouldn't say I am a hundred percent, but I feel fine." He would respond addressing Mikoto.
Mikoto was about to respond but was cut off as a smaller blonde a couple of years older then Eri came up from behind Izuku's classmates with her teeth on full display. She nearly tackled Izuku with an embrace when she entered the threshold of the home running. Eri kept her distance as she watched a blonde foreigner wrap her arms around her brothers neck excitedly rubbing her cheek on Izuku. "Izzy!" The young girl shouted excitedly.
Nearly taken aback by the situation Izuku took a moment to process and recognize the girl. She was the daughter of the family that had took him and Mei in when they were in America, and said girl started to see them as her older siblings over time. Izuku used his arms to stabilize the girl as she hung from his neck. "Shannon?" He questioned as he got a good look at her petite face her pale blue orbs sparkling.
"Aitakatta yo. Izzy." She said tightening her hug.
Izuku had a grin on his face as the young girl let go beaming up at him after Izuku had lowered her to the ground. "What are you doing here?"
"I-I... Came ... To see... You." She struggled to form her response in Japanese, but was able to power through regardless.
"Sōna no ka?" Izuku responded, thinking back to his earlier conversation with Yu. So this was her surprise, not that he is complaining.
