"Ivy talking looks like this."

"Faye talking out loud looks like this."
Chapter 10
It's been three days since the incident with the baseball and the Cullens, and so far they haven't come back. The baseball has been sitting on the bookshelf.
Sometimes I would play with it, bouncing it against the wall of the cabin.
I noticed that we were running low on water for the sink, so I put on my shoes, grabbed the jug, and headed down to the stream to fill it up.
Even though I could conjure water it still felt therapeutic and calming walking to the stream and gathering water in the jug.
While I walked toward the steam, I started to feel very hot, like I was burning, which made no sense because it was cloudy. I decided to ignore it and fill the jug anyway.
"Umm, Faye?" I heard Ivy call my name, and I hummed back as an answer, "I think you are going to shift soon," Ivy replied nervously.
I dropped the half-filled jug in surprise, "WHAT?!"
Ivy replied, "Yeah, feeling unusually hot is one sign that you are going to shift soon."
I stood there in shock, still hot, and getting hotter by the second. I looked down and noticed I was sweating a lot to the point that you could see it on my shirt, "What can I do? I feel like I'm cooking from the inside!"
Ivy went silent for a few minutes which felt like hours, I could sense that she was thinking, finally she spoke, "Go deeper into the stream but not deep enough to drown, it should help with the heat and the shift."
I followed her instructions, took off my sweaty clothes, practically jumped inside the stream, and instantly started to cool down, I was still hot but at least I was not burning anymore, I let out a sigh in relief.
As I sat there trying to cool off, Ivy tried distracting me from what was going to happen next. Suddenly, I felt my bones start to move but I was so distracted by the cooling of the water that I didn't notice, but the next thing I definitely noticed.
Pain.
All I felt was pain and the cooling water, I groaned in pain as I heard Ivy's words of encouragement and reassurance that everything would be okay, that I was doing great, and that it was almost over. Ivy told me it was over as I felt the last bone shift before I blacked out.
When I woke up, I realized that I was on four legs and covered in fur.
Ivy? I asked not moving frozen in my spot, feeling too scared to take a step.
"Hey Faye, how do you feel?" I could sense her, trying to feel my emotions to see if I was okay, so I replied, Scared to move, and mentally exhausted.
"Don't be afraid, go ahead, move, and look at our reflection." I nodded, took a shaky breath, and hesitated to lift my paw. I shook my head determinedly and decided to just go for it. I took my first step, then my second.
Suddenly, I was walking around in the stream excitedly and looked down at our reflection. I just stared, looking down at our form, is this us? I asked Ivy still staring at the wolf in front of me.
"Yep that's us, what do you think?"
I replied, We are beautiful, Ivy!
I stared back into the reflection, what stared back at me was a wolf with light blond fur there were some yellow patches of fur and blueish violet eyes.
"It seems like the color of our hair mixed to make the colors in our fur, interesting," Ivy replied looking closer at our reflection.
What do you mean? I tilted my head at her statement, "Well, my fur color was the patches of yellow we see in our fur, but I believe that you added the main color, blond, which looks good on us," she explained excitedly, I could feel her jumping in my head.
Wait… I decided to close my eyes and focus on looking in my mind.
Ivy, I CAN SEE YOU NOW!
I could see Ivy now she wasn't just a voice in my head anymore, she looked just like our wolf form.
"Really?" She tilted her head, "I mean… I told you we had to wait for the first shift to see me," she said proudly pointing her snout to the air, I chuckled.
Do you want to try switching and running around?
She nodded getting more excited, "is that even a question, Yes!"
We tried having Ivy take over again and with some time, we successfully managed to switch. I give her permission to take over whenever she wants as long as she gives me a heads-up before. She got excited about the agreement and nodded her head excitedly.
Ivy became very excited and started running around and splashing in the water for a while.
Afterward, she decided to run around in the woods, saying that she wanted to stretch her legs and explore. I nodded as I watched her have fun. Sometimes, she would find a small animal and chase it around for a bit, but she never tried to catch them. I think she just likes the chase.
After playing for a while, Ivy was ready to go home and switch back. Fortunately, it was easy to regain control and she coached me on how to transform back into a human. I went for a quick tired jog back to the stream to pick up my clothes and the spilled jug.
After that, I quickly refilled the jug and jogged back home. Once I was inside, I put the jug under the sink and decided to hook it back up tomorrow. I dropped the clothes on the couch. Then, I went to my room, fell on my bed exhausted, and went right to sleep.
