With the twins sound asleep, dreaming of the future as heroes, the Midoriya parents were left to think about the future as well. But whereas the children saw fantasies and the best case scenarios, Inko and Hisashi saw what would come before that to test their children.
"What're we going to do?" Inko asked herself aloud as she poured herself and Hisashi some sake, handing a saucer to her husband.
"For now?" Hisashi mused. "I guess we let them be kids and trust Masa and Mitsuki to keep a lid on Katsuki's big mouth and attitude."
"Hisashi!" Scolded his wife, deeply offended. "That is your godson!"
"I know what I said." Hisashi replied, emptying his saucer. "Inko, sweetie. I love the kid, you know I do; his dad has been my brother in all but blood and best friend since the first time I walked through first grade; but you can't tell me you don't get flashbacks to our schoolyard bullies the way he acts sometimes."
Inko poured them each more sake but said nothing else.
"But on the bright side, we can at least brag our kids have amazing quirks."
"Just have to make sure they don't get the Hawks treatment…" Inko mused, only for her husband to shush her with a finger on her lips.
"SSSSH! I wasn't supposed to tell you!" he fearfully whispered. "And I KNOW Miss Utahime downstairs listens in on us!"
He glared at the apartment floor, where you could hear some mu,mbling and walking underneath.
"Onery old hag…" The husband grumbled, his wife chuckling before her attention returned to her children.
"I hate to say it, but Izumi is fine; elemental quirks are always in demand and verstaltile….its Izuku I'm worried about." Inko confessed.
Hisashi downed his sake and placed his saucer down, hugging Inko.
"Copying Quirks alone will probably get him bullied, but actually taking and upgrading Quirks?" Inko mused, nuzzling into her husband's embrace. "Where did that even come from? I understand mutations, but…?"
Hisashi just held his wife tighter, trying to calm her down. They'd worry about that later.
"We'll just have to wait and see how things go." Hisashi said. "Besides, the kids are smart, they know what do to. And there are training grounds they can practice on."
"I mean, its not like the practing facilities available to the public are anywhere big enough of have budgets big enough for our baby boy to properly test out his limits!"
Suddenly, Hisashi's eyes widened and a smile overtook his face.
"Honey?" Inko asked, surprised when her husband took her into a hug and gave her a chaste, loving kiss."
"No worries, sweetheart. I just remembered somebodt at UA still owes me a favor."

"Been a while since I was a student here..." Hisashi mused wistfully as he approached the Principal's Office of one of Japan's most prestigious high schools.
Izuku and Izumi both had strong, dangerous Quirks and needed a safe place to practice and experiment with them. He only hoped his old teacher would be willing to lend a helping paw.
It seemed that the principal was expecting him, as the door opened on its own. Hisashi smiled as he saw the creature sitting behind the large, mahogany desk.
"Hello, Midoriya!" The unknown mammal cheerfully greeted. "Am I a mouse, a bear, or a dog? The answer is, I'm the PRINCIPAL!"
"Long time no see, Nedzu-Sensei."
"Please, take a seat. Will the wife be joining us this lovely evening?"
"Sadly, she's busy making sure our kids are doing okay," Hisashi explained as he sat down. "In fact, the kids are the reason I'm here right now...I need to cash in that favor."
"I had a feeling you'd be ready to turn it in at some point," Nedzu said with a chuckle. "That case sure was a doozy and we wouldn't have won it without your help."
Hisashi chuckled. He had been a student in the Business Course of UA in his youth, studying for a degree in Law. He managed to succeed with top marks and has since been one of Japan's most prominent attorneys. The case Nedzu was referring to was a rather ugly one involving one of UA's students being framed for several counts of rape and murder, the culprit having singled them as the fall guy due to the student having a mental disability.
Hisashi fought with everything he had to get the kid acquitted. Fortunately, he was able to expose the true culprit and both he and Nedzu watched with satisfaction as the scumbag who thought he could get away with framing the innocent for his crimes was given the death penalty for everything he had done.
"I still remember that prick screaming and sobbing like a little whinny baby when they shoved him into the chamber." Hisashi chuckled, allowing himself to have a bit of a dark thought. "But still, I'm here about my son and daughter. They have powerful Quirks that'll need to be trained and they'd benefit more from using your facilities than some random gym.
Nedzu hummed in interest as he typed on his computer before grinning excitedly at what he saw. To Hisashi, this was both a good and a bad thing. The good part was that Nedzu was more than likely going to accept his favor...the bad news...the Principal was going to have way too much fun with this.
"I must say, your children are truly lucky to have you as a father." Nedzu chuckled. "They will be allowed to have access to Gym Gamma during this process under Cementoss's supervision. However, I would like to meet both of them before further discussions of training them."
"Oh, one more thing!" Hisashi spoke up quickly. "My best friend Masaru's son, Katsuki? I was wondering if he could be allowed to train as well."
Once again, Nedzu was typing away and as Hisashi cleared his dry throat, Nedzu slid a cup of tea his way.
"Ah, here we are. Hmm, not the most creative name for a Quirk but certainly powerful. Oh, I can't wait to meet them!"

"Kaachan, you gotta stop being so mean!"
Katsuki grumbled in annoyance. Izuku and Izumi had been getting on his case more and more ever since they got their Quirks.
"Why do you two care anyway? I'm just showing that stupid extra his place!"
The Midoriya Twins were standing firmly in front of a little boy who had earned Katsuki's ire for the crime of sitting on his favorite swingset.
"We don't see any extras here, Kaachan," Izumi said. "You really need to stop thinking the world revolves around just you. It won't do you any good in the long-run."
"SHUT UP YOU STUPID DEKUS!"
Katsuki lunged at the twins but Izuku just used his copy of Inko's Quirk to untie his friend's shoelaces and make him trip. Izumi then held out her hand and the dirt around Katsuki moved on its own, forming braces to hold him down to the ground.
"You both suck..."
"We aren't letting you go until you calm down, Kaachan," Izuku said firmly. "This isn't how a Hero should be, let alone All-Might."
If there was one thing the three shared, it was an admiration for the #1 Pro Hero in Japan and Symbol of Peace, All-Might. However, they both had very different ideas of what All-Might represented. Izuku and Izumi saw him as a symbol of doing the right thing and helping those in need while Katsuki saw him as a symbol who never lost any battles and always won no matter what he did.

"Where are we going, Daddy?" Izumi asked as Hisashi drove his kids as well as Katsuki to an unknown destination.
"Some place that you'll all be very excited to be at."
The three kids soon got their answer to what the Midoriya Patriarch meant when they saw the front gates of UA. Hisashi chuckled as the trio began freaking out in excitement as he lead them into the building after parking.
"I can't believe it, we're in UA High, the greatest Hero School in the world!" Izuku exclaimed. "This is where All-Might graduated when he was a student!"
Hisashi rolled his eyes. "Your mom and I were students here as well, you know."
Once they entered the main building, Izuku stopped ranting and raving and the children's eyes widened in wonder. This was UA High. The same hero school All-Might went to. The hero school they would eventually go to as students. As the kids stood gaping in awe in the doorway, Hisashi snapped his fingers to get their attention.
"Come on, we don't want to leave Nedzu waiting."
This got Izuku excited all over again. Hisashi led the kids to the Principal's Office and allowed the door to open on its own, allowing his son's eyes to land on the smiling creature behind the desk.
"N-NE-NEDZU!" The Midoriya Boy cried out. "The only animal to become a Pro Hero due to his [High Specs] Quirk making him one of the smartest creatures in the world!"
"Yes, it is I, Nedzu! Am I a mouse? A bear? Or maybe a dog?"
"Technically, you're a chimera but share many traits with animals from the Mustelid family including weasels, ferrets, and stoats as well as otters which would explain your tail and paws..." Izumi began muttering.
Hisashi chuckled, both Izuku and Izumi had amazing analytical minds, which they got from him but while his analysis was in Law, their analysis was in Heroics. However, Nedzu just smiled at Izumi's deduction.
"Very good, Ms. Midoriya. I am indeed a Mustelid chimera! How did you guess?"
"Both of the Dekus are huge nerds who spend every waking moment of their lives studying useless shit." Katsuki gruffly said with a roll of his eyes.
Hisashi gestured for the children to take a seat with him as Nedzu set out a tray with a teapot, five cups, and a plate of cookies on his desk.
"I hate tea..." Katsuki grumbled only to be nudged by Izumi.
"Would you like some sugar or cream?" Nedzu asked as he began to pour them each a cup.
"Ummm...cream is okay," Izuku said politely.
"Do you think we could take some of these cookies home?" Izumi asked.
"Of course, dear," Nedzu chuckled, pulling out his phone. "I'll text Lunch Rush to box up another batch for you."
"L-Lunch Rush made these?!" Izuku asked, eyes wide at the cookies like they were more valuable than gold.
"Of course! He handles all the meals at UA!"
As Izuku and Izumi drooled at the idea of tasting Lunch Rush's katsudon, Nedzu placed a box next to the tray. The three kids looked inside to see some papers as well as what looked like puzzles and blocks of various shapes and sizes.
"I was hoping to get to know you a little better by playing a few games. Would that be alright?"
Katsuki shrugged. "Why not? I'll be sure to show you how awesome I am at these games."
Izuku and Izumi rolled their eyes but giggled. It was true Katsuki was hot-tempered and rude but he was pretty smart in his own right.
"Wonderful!" Nedzu beamed. "We'll begin with a worksheet. Since you are still learning to read and write, I'll ask you the questions and you answer them as best you can. Sound fun?"
The kids all nodded as Nedzu began testing them. Needless to say, he was not disappointed with the results from the three of them. Hisashi couldn't help but smile proudly at his kids. They really were chips off the old block.

"Why do we gotta wear these?" Katsuki asked as he, Izuku, and Izumi were dressed in UA's gym uniforms, which were tailored for their young size.
"An old friend of mine is going to be supervising you for some tests at the PE grounds," Hisashi explained. "Just be wary, he's a bit of a hardass."
All three kids' eyes widened at that as they realized what kinds of tests they could be. While Katsuki's smile grew feral, Izuku and Izumi started bouncing excitedly again.
Outside a brown building, three young adults were standing there. The first was dressed in a shabby black outfit with a strange grey metallic scarf, the second looked like a radio DJ with a spruced-up hairstyle and thin mustache, and the third was an exceptionally beautiful woman with purple hair and dressed like a dominatrix. Also present was a small, old lady wearing a white coat and leaning on a cane that looked like a comically large syringe.
As the children approached, Izuku and Izumi's green eyes sparkled with excitement as they recognized the three adults.
"AHH! IT'S ERASERHEAD, PRESENT MIC, AND MIDNIGHT!" Izuku screamed. "I TUNE INTO PRESENT MIC'S RADIO SHOW EVERY SUNDAY!"
"And that's Recovery Girl!" Izumi added, recognizing the old lady, who chuckled.
"I wasn't expecting someone so young to recognize me," She said as Izuku ran up to her with a pen and notebook, which she happily signed an autograph.
"These are your brats, Hisashi?" Eraserhead, real name Shota Aizawa, asked gruffly.
Hisashi smirked. "Yup. Still the terror of the Naruhata Night Scene?"
"Awww, they're soooo cute!" Midnight, real name Nemuri Kayama cooed.
"Hey, I recognize that voice!" Present Mic, real name Hizashi Yamada, smiled as he saw Izuku. "You're that little listener who gave all those amazing details on my Quirk, even those tips I never thought to try before!"
Aizawa cleared his throat, getting the children's attention. He was now holding a ball with a strange metal band around it.
"Hisashi figured we'd be the best to teach you kids for this. We'll be performing a series of physical tests but you'll be using your Quirks. Normally, these tests are introduced in middle school and you'd perform them without using your Quirks. However, I believe this is the best way to gauge not only the strength of your Quirks but your creativity in how you use them."
Aizawa tossed the ball to Katsuki and pointed to a patch of dirt with a white circle and lines drawn in it.
"Bakugou, go stand in that circle and see if you can use your Quirk to throw the ball."
Katsuki nodded and headed over to the circle, already knowing how he was gonna launch the ball into orbit. He then drew back his arm and, from the bottom of his heart, yelled "DIE" as he threw the ball with the biggest explosion he could muster. As the ball disappeared into the distance, he looked over at the adults and the Deku Twins.
"So cool, Kaachan!" Izuku cheered.
"Die?" Midnight questioned as she looked at Hisashi.
"He has a bit of a temper on him. Gets it from his mother."
"Ah, right. Mitsuki….How's she doing, anways?"
"Modelling and happily married to Masa, even if she's a bit,…tense."
"Speaking of …How's your lovely wife?" Midnight smiled gently
"AHEM!" Nedzu coughed. "As much as I do adore hgearing of former students, I believe the children are our priority?"
"Sorry, sensei."
Hearing a beep, Aizawa nodded at his phone and showed it to the kids, showing Katsuki's distance scored at 99.1 meters. The blonde's chest puffed up with pride as he made his way back over to the group.
"Alright, Little Listener, it's your turn!" Present Mic said to Izuku, who moved up to the circle and was handed another ball.
"Don't hold anything back, kid," Aizawa advised, Izuku nodding.
Izuku nodded as he closed his eyes and reached into the Quirks he had at his disposal. [Tight Muscles] from Mr. Doria down the street, [Sonic Boom] from Cleo in school, and [Motion Amplify] from Old Lady Sona.
Everyone watched as the muscles in Izuku's arms seemed to tighten as he threw the ball, creating a miniature sonic boom upon the pitch and the ball moving like a bullet from a railgun as it sailed off into the distance. Just then, the familiar beep chimed and Aizawa nodded.
"350 meters straight. Good start."
"Damn you, Deku!" Katsuki cursed, stomping his foot. "Your Quirk is too OP!"
It was now Izumi's turn as she was handed another ball and took a deep breath before taking a pitching stance. Wind suddenly began picking up around her, everyone bracing themselves so they didn't get blown away. Izumi then threw the ball, which was surrounded by a wind aura as it sailed far and fast, Aizawa once more checking his phone as it beeped.
"249.8 meters. Not bad."
"Up next, the 50-Meter Dash!" Present Mic excitedly announced. As Izuku and Katsuki took their places, the latter was looking smug as he positioned his arms behind himself and the adults shared a look.
"Oh dear..." Recovery Girl sighed. "Good thing I'm on standby here."
As the robot gave the signal, Katsuki activated his Quirk to propel himself forward. However, this did not work the way he thought it would. While he had a good start, he hadn't considered how to properly balance himself to stay in the air and quickly lost control as he started firing explosions of various sizes and twisting and turning until he crashed and found himself tumbling over the finish line one second ahead of Izuku, who had used the [Light Foot] Quirk from the PE teacher at elementary.
"H-ha! B-beat you Dek-OW," Katsuki tried to gloat from his place on the ground but found it difficult as he was trying to deal with the pain of a case of full-body road rash.
Recovery Girl shook her head. "That kind of trick will take you years to master, young man. Consider yourself lucky you didn't break your neck."
The old lady then bent down and planted a kiss on his forehead. Katsuki wanted to protest in disgust but he suddenly found the pain slowly fading away, his cuts and bruises disappearing.
"I could have healed Kaachan too, Ms. Recovery Girl," Izumi said. "Izuku-Nii also has a Healing Quirk or two of his own."
"Well, that's sweet of you, dearies. But it's best to leave it to the professionals for right now." Recovery Girl nodded as she turned to Katsuki. "Now, I don't want you trying that move again until you learn some proper control and when you do, I want to be present. Understand?'
Katsuki grumpily nodded with great reluctance as Recovery Girl handed him some energy gummies while Izumi took her place at the track and then ran fast, flames forming around her feet and boosting her across.
Fortunately, the rest of the tests proceeded without further injury. Izuku managed to beat both Katsuki and Izumi in the Grip Strength Test while all of them cleared the sandbox in the Standing Long Jump and Repeated Side Step tests. Izumi showed amazing flexibility in pull-ups, and sit-ups, and all three kids showed surprising levels of endurance in the Endurance Run test. Unfortunately, none of them would admit defeat in that test and Midnight had to use her Quirk, [Somnambulist], to put them to sleep.

"Your brats have got good heads on their shoulders. Though that Bakugou punk might need to curb that ego of his." Aizawa noted as he went over the notes after the tests were done.
"Honestly, we're lucky these kids want to be Heroes. In time, I honestly believe even All-Might won't be able to hold a candle to them." Recovery Girl said.
Nedzu hummed at that. "We should probably keep that little tidbit out of his file. We don't want the wrong people taking an interest in him so soon. Especially in regard to Izuku's power..."
Hisashi shuddered, unpleasant memories filling his head of a fateful day that nobody would ever forget and that the entire country of Japan wanted to put behind them. A fight that put even All-Might himself at death's door...
"It's best we keep looking over those cute little angels of yours, Hisashi-Aniki." Midnight said with a giggle. "They'll only continue to shine and blossom from here on out!"
"Just don't act creepy around them, Nemuri. I don't want you to end up psychologically scarring the poor kids." Aizawa said dryly, which elicited his female friend to stick her tongue out childishly at him.
"Excellent, and while you oversee the children's physical training, I'd like to take little Izuku under my wing. While all three children scored quite highly in the intelligence tests, Izuku's score was nearly off the charts! I believe he would greatly benefit from my teachings."
Hisashi couldn't help but shudder. While Nedzu had helped teach him a whole lot, there were still some old memories that were best left locked away.
He only hoped that Izuku didn't end up like he did when he was a student at UA High...
Knightmare Lord A/N:
Izuku, Izumi, and Katsuki get some special hands-on training at UA High. Next chapter, we'll be heading to the start of canon but with some big changes in store due to their newfound education system.
Mrotrax A/N:
As you can see, in thus AU, the Midoriya twins and Katsuki will be on better terms with the UA staff. As much I do enjoy the conflict that we had in the original version, it was a little draining to write. Plus, while I am not opposed to Aizawa and UA getting called out on occasion, they are ultimately not bad teachers or bad people.
For thos wondering about the lack of All Might in this story, not to worry. He's acoming!
