Professor Eugenia Bright stood at the front of her Wish Fulfillment class. She was in incredibly bright blue. Her class was just for third years.
"Now girls," she said. "I want to talk about dreams today. They are very important. What are they?"
"I want to be a science fashionista!" a girl in sky and darker blue, Adora said.
'I want to be a singing, glowing pop star!" said a girl in gold, Leona said.
"I want to get rich cooking and selling food!" said a girl in two shades of emerald green, Tessa said.
But Scarlet, all in black and red, didn't say anything.
She got up and and left.
"I dream to live on Wishworld," she said to herself.

For as long as she could remember, Scarlet, a Starling from Starland, wanted to live on Wishworld with the Wishlings-which were known as Earthlings on Earth.
She was a Starling, who grants the wishes of Earthlings to her world.
Her in-school job was special. Besides being your average Starling-people who live on Starland and grant wishes -She was a Star Darling. A teen wish-granted just starting out, even though she hadn't graduated. She was meant to collect more wish energy than adult Starlings. Enough to save all of Starland.
But today, she was called again, the first Star Darling since the last Wish of was granted.
Her Wish Orb, an object telling The Star Darlings that they were the newest to visit the other world, black and red, appeared right in front of her face!
It was once again her time to call upon a Wisher!

Scarlet had just ridden a shooting star all the way to Wishworld.
She had picked out more red and black clothes for just for that reason. Scarlet's eyes were green, and she had a long lock of red hair with mostly black hair. She had a backpack to carry her things.
This was mostly for Wishworld. On Starland, she wore similar clothes of black and red, but red and black hair and red eyes. She also had on sparkles from Sparkle Showers.
When she landed from her shooting star, she was in a wide field. On top of a hill, appeared to be a group of people walking towards odd shaped stones. They were tall and looked so heavy and were there for some unknown reason.
Wishlings were snapping pics from something called "cameras" which she learned about in class.
Scarlet could sense her Wisher with her Wish Pendant. Then she saw a Wishling vehicle.
"Hey! Kid!" yelled a man who appeared to be running it. Scarlet noticed the man had an unusual accent. "The tour is over! Be seated!"
Scarlet knew somebody, her Wisher, was on the bus, so she seated.
"Hold on!" said the bus driver. "I didn't see you there at the beginning!"
He got up and approached Scarlet.
He sniffed. "Brownies?! You brought food with you!"
Wishlings often were reminded of their favorite food when Starlings were around. This was one of those times.
"I smell something different!" cried another adult Wisher.
"Me, too!" said yet another.
Each had that same accent.
The driver pinched his nose. "Let me guess. You ALL brought food?!"
The Wishlings shook their heads.
Then the driver turned to Scarlet once more. "Did YOU bring all that food?! Where is it all?! Did you even pay for this trip?!"
Scarlet was going to use mind control until a girl Scarlet's age approached the front of the bus that looked just like Scarlet, including the green eyes! Except that she was purple in places where she would be red. But she was sparkling like a Starling!
"I might be able to cover it!" she said to the driver.
She gave what appeared to be Wishworld money.
Scarlet's studded boots, or her Wish Pendant, lit up! She found her Wisher! But how? She wasn't in a Wishling disguise!
"Hey, I know you!" the driver said. "I've seen you and your in magazines! Your parents are archeologists!"
Scarlet had no idea what he was talking about.
"Yeah, we were studying Stonehenge," the girl said.
"Well, consider this a favor. EVERYONE! Stay in your seats! We're headed to the hotel!"
The girl and Scarlet shared a seat.
"Nice to meet you!" said the girl.
Scarlet frowned. "You know, I don't understand why you're here! And I don't understand why you look like you just had a Sparkle Shower!"
"This?" Violet gestured around herself. "Oh! You mean my body glitter?"
Scarlet was surprised and confused. "Is that what they call it?"
"Yup! Nice to meet, you once again!"
"Nice to meet you, too," said Scarlet. "I'm Scarlet."
"Cool! I'm Violet!"
"So, what's Stonehenge?" Scarlet asked Violet.
"You visit England and you don't know about Stonehenge?"
"'England'? I'm in a place called, 'England'?"
Violet blinked. "You're kidding, right?"
Scarlet thought fast. Then she remembered about Wishworld countries. "Um. Yes. I'm from America!"
"Oh. Anyhow, Stonehenge was created, many years ago. Some people think we were visited by aliens who helped them."
"So, what are archeologists?"
Violet blinked again. "You don't get out much, do you?"
"That's why I'm traveling!" Scarlet smirked.
"Well, archeologists are people who study the past. And aliens are people who supposedly left behind structures to remember them by."
Then the bus stopped at a big building and people filed out.
"This is the hotel," said Violet. "Wanna see it?"
"Your parents won't mind?"
"They're so busy studying, they'll be thrilled to meet a new person!"

Scarlet attempted to lock arms with Violet.
"What are you doing?" Violet asked with a frown.
"Oh! Star apolo-I mean, sorry! In my neighborhood, we like to lock arms like this. I don't like it, but I thought you might,"
"Well, I don't,"
Violet and Scarlet went up through the elevator.
They arrived, room locked.
"How do we get in?" Scarlet asked.
"Look away," said Violet.
Scarlet peeked threw her fingers.
Violet was manipulating the lock-with energy!
Scarlet pretended not to know.
There was two beds, a TV, two closets and a mini fridge.
"Do you like sports? Violet asked.
"Yeah!" Scarlet answered.
Violet showed Scarlet to her closet. She got out a pair of rollarskates.
"Wow! I prefer the skate board, myself," said Scarlet.
"Want to watch me skate on them?" Violet asked.
"Sure thing!" said Scarlet.
Violet crouched and put them on.
They lit up from the wheels!
"What just happened?" Scarlet asked.
"No idea," Violet answered. "I think we shouldn't tell my parents, though."
"Why not? asked Scarlet.
"I share almost everything with my family. Only this would worry them,"
"Okay," Scarlet agreed.
Violet got out a special instrument.
"This is a theremin!" she said.
Her fingers danced over it, creating noise without touching it.
Scarlet's eyes went wide. "I've never heard such a thing!"
Violet grinned. "Most people haven't!"
Scarlet tried to guess her Wisher's wish.
"Do you need help learning either of those things?"
"Nope!"
Scarlet wondered about something. "Where's the body glitter?"
Violet rummaged threw the closet until she found a box.
"It'd kind of heavy!" Violet said. "Please close your eyes, again?"
Scarlet thought of something.
She wanted to help. And to show Violet what she able.
"Actually, how about I don't close my eyes. I-"
Violet decided to pick up the lid to the box.
"Never mind!" she grinned.
Scarlet was somewhat disappointed.
Then she looked in the box.
It was filled with vials of all different colors.
"Nice!" said Scarlet. "May I try some on?"
"Yeah!" said Violet as she opened the vials.
Violet got out two vials of liquid.
One vial was red, the other black.
Soon, Scarlet was covered head to toe in body glitter! She felt somewhat at home right then.
All at once, Scarlet saw an orb spill out from Violet's backpack.
It was a Wish Orb!
Violet was surprised!
"Sorry, Scarlet!" said she. "I have no idea what this is, but I found it looking at Stonehenge today."
Then a knock was heard on the door.
"Be ready for us!" a woman's voice said.
A man and woman walked in. The woman was covered in body glitter in a rainbow, red starting at her hair, all the way down to purple shoes. The man was in a tie dye shirt and ripped blue jeans.
"Who's your new friend, Violet?" the woman asked.
"And why does she look just like you?" the man asked with an accent.
Violet walked towards the door. "Mom, Dad, this is Scarlet! Scarlet-Mom, Dad."
"Hello! I'm Música!" said Violet's mother. "This is my husband, Ander."
"Charmed!" said the male Wishling as he shook Scarlet's hand.
Ander sniffed the air.
"Mmm. Tiramisu cake! Was your friend baking something?"
"Um. Violet and I had it." Scarlet said.
"We did?" asked Violet.
Scarlet stared at her.
"We did!" said Violet.
"A whole cake? You two must've been hungry!"
Música looked around the room. "I see you've showed Scarlet a lot of things!"
"Yeah, I have!" said Violet. "My rollarskates, my theremin. My body glitter."
"Tsk, tsk!" Música said. "Our body glitter!"
Violet turned to Scarlet. "Mom has glitter of all the colors of the rainbow!"
"That explains the other spark-uh I mean the other glitter." said Scarlet.
"Mine and Violet's most favorite glitter are purple and black, however!" Música explained.
Then a strange sound responded from her pocket.
"It's my phone!"
She answered it.
Nobody heard the other end of the conversation.
"It's Dr. Quent! He's found cave paintings not too far from here!"
"Are they from The Sky People?!" Violet asked with glee.
Música asked into the phone.
"He thinks so!"
"May I go with you?!" asked Violet.
"You know you may! And you may bring your friend, too!"

Scarlet followed the Wishling family into a vehicle called a "buggy".
"I was on the bus to Stonehedge for the sites. My parents have been there before," Violet explained.
"And yet they let you with them sometimes?"
"Yup!"
Well, that wasn't the right wish. She wasn't lonely.
"So! What do these paintings look like?" Scarlet asked.
"They have animals and people on them. Sometimes They have The Sky People on them!"
Scarlet had an idea, but she wasn't sure, yet.
"Mom tells me all about them! They visit from other planets to teach us things,"
Soon, they had arrived at their destination.
The paintings were on the outside of the caves at the bottom of a hill.
Ander held his hand towards the sky. "There's more than just one site. We'll travel up there and you two may stay here.
The two adults returned to the buggy and went uphill.
Violet showed Scarlet around. "There's a bison! And those people with sticks are regular people! And those hovering over there must be Sky People!"
"Hmm," said Scarlet. "Maybe I could draw like them!"
Scarlet got out some body glitter from her pockets.
She then poured it on the ground and painted with a rock.
"You're good!" Violet said.
In time, Scarlet's handiwork was finished and was just as good as the cave paintings, if not better.
Violet peered at the newly-drawn Star People. "I wish I was a Starling."
Scarlet looked at Violet in both disbelief and surprise. "'Starling'?"
Violet clamed up. "Uh. Yeah! A starling! A bird! There's a bird called a, 'Starling'!"
Scarlet frowned. "Really?"
Violet knew she had been found out. She said simply, "No. Well, there's this wish I have."
"You want Starling powers?"
"No! I want to live on Starland."
Scarlet's eyes turned wide. "How do you know about Starland?"
"My mom's been telling me about it all my life. But I thought they were just stories!"
"Well, Violet. They're not just stories."
Then they heard commotion from up the hill. Sputtering noises were heard. Yelling.
"They need our help!" said Violet.
Both girls ran uphill. Violet grew tired.
Scarlet saw this as her chance!
Scarlet put Violet in the air!
Both arrived at the summit. The buggy's wheel was stuck in a ditch.
Scarlet put Violet down.
Música was in the process of lifting it up with energy.
Then she saw the girls and dropped it.
"Violet!" she said. "You should know better than to let your friend see this!"
"But you were in trouble!" Violet said.
"And I may help!" said Scarlet.
Without another word, Scarlet got the car out of the ditch.
"It's called, "Gravitational pull," said Scarlet. "It's for unlocking doors. It also forms things so the object is lighter. It's not heavy at all. But you probably already knew that, didn't you?"

They were all back at the hotel.
"Your friend still smells like cake!" Ander said.
Música turned to her husband. "Do you remember when we first met? The same thing happened?"
"Yes. Then you baked cake for me until it went away. That was because you're from Starland, right?" Ander asked.
"Indeed! It's because I'm from Starland!" Música said.
Everybody's jaws dropped.
"Really, Mom?" asked Violet.
"Yes! Let me guess, you wish to go there?" Música said.
"YES!"
"Well, Violet, I know you've had your head in the stars, but I never thought you'd actually leave!" said Música.
Música turned to Scarlet. "You're Andromedus and Melodia's girl, right?"
"You sure know a lot. You know them?" Scarlet asked.
"I and Melodia switched places on each world a long time ago. We aren't related, but because we're close, we're Twilis, or Star Twins! The same must be for you two girls."
"What about Dad?"
"Hey, he's my husband! We share everything with each other!"
"So, Mom! May I please live on Starland? I promise to behave and to call you as soon as I get seated!"
The parents looked at each other.
"Alright,"
Violet pumped her fist. "Yeah! I'm going to live on Starland!"
"But!" said Música. "You must convince Lady Stella first."
"Who?"
"Don't worry! I'll show her around!" said Scarlet.
"And you, Scarlet, since you have no place on Wishworld to live, and you want to, you'll live with us!" said Música.
Then something amazing happened!
Power poured from both girls.
Punkypow, a Wish Blossom, poured from Scarlet. Then a Ravenstone, a Power Crystal.
"We just granted each others' wishes!" the girls said together.

Scarlet and Violet were on Starland. Both were nervous. Violet may or may not live on Starland, Scarlet on Wishworld. And Scarlet hadn't told her parents, yet.
"Mom says we should exchange Star-Zap numbers, though," Scarlet told Violet.
But. They did exchange Star-Zap numbers. Scarlet would call on Violet by Violet's mother's and Violet would call with Scarlet's. They were in Lady Stella's office when she and Melodia and Andromedus, Scarlet's parents, walked in.
Melodia spoke first. "You'll be further than ever before, Scarlet,"
Andromedus spoke next. "We stopped hulling you around with us so you would have friends."
"But now, you're traveling again!" said Melodia.
"But I'm living my dream-Living on Wishworld. Living on Earth!"
A silence ruled the room.
"Okay," said her mother. "Right?"
"Right," said her father.
Scarlet hugged them.
Her parents didn't expect that, but hugged her nonetheless.
Lady Stella talked next. "Girls, yet again you have granted wishes, both of you this time. Scarlet, you received Ravenstone and Punkypow, again. Violet, Purplestone, a Power Crystal and Searchbelles, a Wish Blossom."
Both girls glanced at each other and then Lady Stella continued.
"From now on, Scarlet will not grant wishes. And Violet will grant them in Scarlet's place. Violet will live at Starling Academy. Also. You say you'll be with archeologists, Scarlet?"
"Yes, Last Stella!" Scarlet said.
"And Violet. I hear you play the theremin. Would you like to join The Star Darlings band?"
"You have a band?! Would I?!"
Scarlet was taken aback. "I thought that band was discontinued! I was in that band!"
"Well, things have changed, Scarlet. But. The person in charge of uniting the band again won't be known for a while."
Scarlet slumped in her seat. "Well, I guess as long as my replacement is Violet. I don't mind."
"Excellent!" Lady Stella said. "You're a third year at your old school, right, Violet?"
"Sort of, Lady Stella. I was homeschooled. But I was in that year,"
"Good. Now, Scarlet. Get on the newest shooting star out of here. Violet. I will escort you to your new room."

Leona, a loud, confident, golden-haired, dark-skinned third staryear from before was reading a holo-magazine when Lady Stella and Violet walked in.
"Leona, this is Violet. Violet, Leona. Leona, Violet. Violet is replacing Scarlet as your roommate. I hope you get along."
Then she whispered. "And don't tell her or anybody else where you're from,"
Lady Stella then left them to get acquainted.
"Hi, there, roomy!" Leona said. "It's nice to meet someone new. Where ya from?"
Right away?
"Um. Where are you from?"
"Flairfield"!
"Well, I'm from there, too!"
"Stellar!" Leona said.
Leona's entire side of the room was golden! There was plush furniture! There was a stage with a microphone!
Then Violet noticed the skating ramp!
"Noice!" and she got out her rollarskates.
"'Noice'?" Leona asked.
"Well, uh. So! Scarlet had a ramp here? For skateboarding?"
"You know Scarlet?"
"You may say that."
"You play an instrument? Scarlet plays the drums."
"Yeah!" said as she got out the theremin and hand gestured.
"Cosmic!" Leona said. "Would you like to join our band?"
"I thought we weren't allowed to talk about it,"
"Only the people who already know about it,"
Violet yawned and stretched.
"What's this?" asked Leona, pointing at the glitter.
"That there's body glitter. You wear it when you can't Sparkle Shower, Violet explained. "Which reminds me-Where are the showers?"
Leona pointed at a door to another room.
Violet went inside.
Soon, she was out, shimmering in colors of purple and black.
"Noice!" Leona copied.

Scarlet spent her first night on Wishworld looking at the stars, laying on the grass outside the hotel.
So much had changed so soon!
Música called at her, "Dinnertime!"
"What would you like?" she asked, placing food on a table with three chairs.
Scarlet spied broccoli.
"It's a veggie," said Música. "We only have vegetarian food since Starlings are vegetarians."
Then Scarlet's Star-Zap rang.
Música and Ander hovered over Scarlet.
It was Melodia!
"Your daughter lives in Starland now. Lady Stella told us. So, now we don't have to be sneaky anymore, right?"
"Right!" Música said.
"Nice to see you again!" Melodia said.

All of The Star Darlings were called into Lady Stella's office. Each of them were worried. There was something up. After all, all the Star Darlings had granted wishes in the past. Why more now?
Lady Stella walked in.
"Now, I must tell you, girls. You may or may not grant wishes from now on. But. You should know that the next wishes will be The Star Darlings' wishes! Their may even be Impossible Wishes or Inspirational Wishes to be granted."
The girls' jaws dropped. "But isn't Starland safe, now?" Leona asked as she raised her hand.
"We must continue to grant wishes. Just in case we run into anymore problems. Violet!"
Violet had been in a corner of the room.
"This is Violet. She and a Scarlet are Twilis-Magical twins. Their joint wishes were to live in each others' worlds-One in Starland, the other, Wishworld. Leona has already met Violet,"
"Violet's super stellar, guys!" Leona said. "I mean, I've only known her a few hours, but she seems stellar!"
"Why didn't you tell us before, Leona?" asked a girl all on lavender with gigantic twin braids.
"Because, Sage, I've only known her a SHORT amount of time!"
"Don't argue, girls!" Lady Stella said.
"Star apologies, Lady Stella," said all the Star Darlings at the same time.
"Sorry, Lady Stella," said Violet.
"No apologies necessary, Violet,"
Each of the other star Darlings were confused as to why she said that. But they didn't question it.
"Now, more training is important. Return here when I call you."
All girls and head mistress filed out into their rooms. And so began more training. And more wish-granting.
