First Johto gym battle part 1

Lincoln and the others leave Cherrygrove city after buying some camping gear for Lola.

"I told you to pack the essentials," Lincoln said."

"I did," Lola said showing her make up kit." We'll probably get on TV and be interviewed. plus, you don't expect a princess to sleep outside."

Everyone gives her a deadpan look.

"Let's just get moving," Lincoln said."

Everyone starts walking to Violet city while Sid sees so many Pokémon to catch. She was able to catch a Rattata, a Sentret, Hoothoot, and a spinerak. Lincoln was able to catch a shiny Spinerak and Noctowl, Ronnie Anne catches a Snubull. As it gets dark, everyone has dinner.

"Man, these berries are delicious," Adelaide said."

"I know, I think I should add these in the pizza bou," Stanley said."

"By the way bro, I still can't believe you bought Flip's store," Lynn said."

"Well, I know that he's a swindler, but he makes good flippies," Lincoln said." Plus, he's under strict swatch so he won't try anything."

"And I'm grateful that you bought back my princess ride," Lola said."

"Hey link, if the luck fiasco didn't happen, how would you be introduced to the Pokémon world?" Sid asked."

The louds mostly Lynn felt guilty.

"Well, I probably would've shown pop-pop my drawing and told me about the regions and got me interested," Lincoln replied." "Also, the dream I had would help too."

"And we would've seen it as a vacation from Lincoln, but feel jealous," Lola said."

"And be too prideful and stubborn to admit it," Lynn said."

"I still couldn't believe that this situation started because you couldn't handle your first lost," Becca said."

(Feeling down)" Yeah, and the rest of us really needed to learn that we can't get everything we want and learn to take no for an answer," Luna said."

"Ok everyone, time for bed," Rosa said."

Everyone cleans their dishes and enter their tents to sleep.

"I can't believe caught that icky spider Pokémon," Leni said."

"Don't start Leni," Lori said."

The next day, everyone has breakfast, puts their tents away and walk all the way towards Violet city.

"We're here," Lincoln said."

"Wow, can we look around?" Lisa asked."

"There's a temple like tower," Carlos said."

"Sure, after our gym battles," Lincoln replied."

'Ok," Lisa said."

They towards the gym where they meet Falkner.

"Greetings I am Falkner the gym leader, who will be my challenger?" Falkner asked."

"I'll go first," Ronnie Anne replied."

"Very well," Falkner said."

They head towards the stadium as everyone else sit on the stands.

"This will be two on two," Falkner said."

"Fair enough," Ronnie Anne said."

"Hoothoot go!" Falkner said."

He sends out Hoothoot.

"Angurius time to shine," Ronnie Anne said."

She sends out her Ryhorn.

"Aw right my first battle," Angurius said."

"Hoothoot, use air cutter!" Falkner said."

Hoot uses air cutter and hits angurius causing damage.

"Rock throw!" Ronnie Anne said."

Angurius uses rock throw.

"Dodge it!" Falkner said."

Hoothoot dodges rock throw.

"Roll out!" Ronnie Anne said."

Angurius uses roll out and hits Hoothoot knocking it out.

"Hoothoot is unable to battle, Ryhorn wins," the referee said."

"Alright she won," CJ said."

"That was too easy," Carl said."

"Dodrio go!" Falkner said."

He sends out Dodrio.

"Hey, it's that same three headed bird Pokémon," Lana said."

"Wow," Sid said."

"Quick attack and drill peck!" Falkner said."

Dodrio uses its speed to run around Angurius and uses drill peck on him.

"Use, magnitude!" Ronnie Anne said."

Angurius uses magnitude on the ground making Dodrio lose its footing.

"Now slam it with you tail!" Ronnie Anne said."

Anguirus slams his tail on Dodrio defeating it.

"Dodrio is unable to battle, Angurius wins, and the victory goes to Ronnie Anne," the referee said."

"Alright! that's my girl," Lincoln said."

"She's really skilled that she won using one Pokémon," Arturo said."

Falkner recalls Dodrio and walks towards Ronnie Anne.

"Well done, I never imagined a trainer would win with using one Pokémon. for your victory, I present you the Zepher badge," Falkner said."

He gives Ronnie Anne the badge.

"Thank you," Ronnie Anne said."

"Ok, my turn," Lincoln said."

That's chapter 4, Ronnie Anne won her first gym badge. next chapter Lincoln vs Falkner.

You guys do realize that during those three months Lincoln and Ronnie Anne trained their Pokémon before going to johto.
