Chapter 45: Infinite Tsukuyomi

Goku and Piccolo Daimao stood facing each other, their auras blazing with a fierce intensity. The ground beneath them trembled, the very air crackling with the raw power emanating from their bodies.

"You're going down, Piccolo," Goku said, his voice steady despite the adrenaline coursing through his veins.

Piccolo sneered, his canines glinting in the light of the energy surrounding them. "We'll see about that, boy."

With a burst of speed, Goku launched himself at Piccolo, his fist aimed squarely at the demon king's face. BOOOOOM! The impact created a shockwave that shattered the ground beneath them, sending debris flying in all directions. The sound was deafening, a thunderous boom that echoed across the island.

Piccolo staggered back but quickly recovered, retaliating with a powerful kick that Goku barely managed to block. The force of the blow sent Goku skidding backward, his boots digging furrows into the ground.

"Tch, you're tougher than you look," Piccolo growled, his eyes narrowing.

Goku grinned, wiping a trickle of blood from his lip. "And you're not as invincible as you think."

They clashed again, their movements a blur of speed and power. Fists and feet met with bone-crushing force, each blow creating shockwaves that rippled through the air. The sound of their battle was a symphony of destruction, crashes, booms, and cracks!

Piccolo unleashed a barrage of energy blasts, each one aimed with deadly precision. Goku dodged and weaved through the onslaught, the blasts exploding around him and reducing the landscape to rubble. He countered with a quick Kamehameha, the blue beam of energy roaring as it tore through the air toward Piccolo.

"Take this!" Goku shouted, the Kamehameha illuminating the dreary, misty sky.

Piccolo crossed his arms in front of him, absorbing the blast with a grunt of effort. The explosion engulfed him in a blinding light, the shockwave flattening everything in its path. When the dust settled, Piccolo emerged from the smoke, his aura blazing even brighter.

"Not bad," Piccolo admitted, "but you'll have to do better than that."

Goku didn't respond, instead charging forward with renewed vigor. He struck with a flurry of punches and kicks, each one aimed to exploit any weakness he could find. Piccolo matched him blow for blow, their battle a whirlwind of motion and power.

The ground beneath them cracked and splintered, massive chunks of earth being thrown into the air with each collision. Trees were uprooted, boulders shattered, and the very landscape was reshaped by their ferocious combat. The island itself seemed to tremble in fear of their power.

Piccolo roared in anger, his eyes glowing with a deadly light. He fired a concentrated beam of energy from his eyes, the twin lasers slicing through the air toward Goku. With a swift movement, Goku deflected the beams with his hand, the energy dissipating harmlessly into the sky.

"You'll have to do better than that, Piccolo!" Goku taunted, his voice filled with confidence.

Enraged, Piccolo lunged at Goku, their fists colliding with a force that created a massive shockwave. THOOOOOOM! The ground beneath them disintegrated, a crater forming from the sheer power of their clash. They traded blows at an incredible speed, each hit creating hypersonic booms that echoed across the battlefield.

"HA!" Goku shouted as he delivered a powerful kick to Piccolo's midsection, sending him crashing through several buildings. The sound of shattering stone was deafening, the debris raining down like a storm.

Piccolo quickly recovered, his eyes blazing with fury. "You'll pay for that!" he roared, charging at Goku with renewed ferocity.

Their battle moved across the island, their speed creating gusts of wind that tore through the trees and sent waves crashing against the shore. They fought in the sky, their movements a blur of light and energy. Each strike, each collision was like a thunderclap, the sound reverberating through the air.

Piccolo managed to land a devastating blow to Goku's side, sending him spiraling into the ground. Goku crashed into the earth with a thunderous impact, the force creating a massive crater. He lay there for a moment, catching his breath, before slowly rising to his feet.

"Is that all you've got?" Goku panted, a fierce grin on his face.

Piccolo hovered above him, his aura crackling with energy. "You're a persistent one, I'll give you that."

Goku powered up, his aura blazing brighter than ever. The ground beneath him trembled, the air vibrating with his energy. With a roar, he launched himself at Piccolo, their fists colliding with a force that sent shockwaves rippling across the island.

The battle raged on, each fighter pushing the other to their limits. They moved faster than the eye could fathom let alone follow, their blows creating sonic booms and shockwaves that tore through the landscape. The island was a warzone, the ground littered with craters and debris.

In a moment of desperation, Piccolo unleashed a massive energy blast, the beam tearing through the air toward Goku. Goku countered with his another fast Kamehameha, the blue beam meeting Piccolo's attack head-on. BOOOOOOOOM! The resulting explosion was blinding, the shockwave leveling everything in its path.

When the dust settled, Goku and Piccolo Daimao stood facing each other, the former breathing semi-heavily and the latter perfectly fine, but neither willing to back down. They knew that each exchange follow this could be their last, the decisive moment in their battle for supremacy.

With another roar, they charged at each other, their auras blazing with the fury of their determination. The ground beneath them cracked and splintered, the air humming with the power of their clash. They met in the center of the battlefield, their fists colliding in an explosion of light and sound.

The island was engulfed in the brilliance of their next clash, the force of their battle sending shockwaves across the ocean. As the dust settled, the outcome of their fight remained uncertain, the fate of the world hanging in the balance.

And then the sky went...dark?!

Goku and Piccolo Daimao, both hovering in mid-air, glanced at each other with equal parts irritation and curiosity. The battlefield around them lay in complete ruin, but that aside the sudden darkening of the sky had caught both their attentions. They darted toward the cliffside, where they saw Hinata standing, looking far more frustrated than she ought to be.

"What happened?" Goku asked, his voice filled with concern.

Piccolo's tone was much harsher, filled with rage. "What the hell is going on, girl?"

Hinata, regaining a ransom of her composure, looked at both of them. "Madara Uchiha... he used some sort of swirly teleportation jutsu and stole the Dragon Balls."

Piccolo's eyes narrowed, his rage intensifying. "Was he masked?"

Hinata nodded. "Hai. He was masked."

Piccolo clenched his fists, his aura flaring violently. "I'll slaughter him and every single member of his Akatsuki for this insolence!"

Goku, puzzled, looked at Piccolo. "Why did you wanna blast Shenron in the first place?"

Piccolo Daimao smirked, a sinister gleam in his eyes. "I don't need anyone trying to sabotage my world domination."

Before they could resume their battle, Hinata darted between them, her voice steady but urgent. "Wait! Nobody got their wish. We need to find Madara and stop him before he can make his wish."

Goku and Piccolo paused, considering her words. Despite their mutual hatred, the logic in Hinata's statement was undeniable.

They needed to prevent Madara from achieving whatever sinister goal he had.

Goku nodded. "She's right. We gotta find Madara."

Piccolo growled but nodded in agreement. "Fine. But once this is over, I will kill you, Son Goku."

"Not if I stop you first," Goku shot back, a grin on his face.

Hinata watched as they began to sense for Madara's distinct power signature. Piccolo, with his experience of being around the Masked One, pinpointed it quickly. "I've got him," the Demon King snarled, his eyes blazing with fury.

WHOOOOOSH! In an instant, Piccolo Daimao took off at full speed, a trail of energy following him.

Goku turned to Hinata, his expression soft. "Be safe, Hinata. I'll be back soon."

Hinata nodded, her eyes filled with resolve. "You too, Goku."

Before any more words were uttered, the Saiyan shot off after Piccolo, matching his speed. The two of them rocketed across the sky, their auras blazing as they raced toward their target.

As they flew, Goku couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and dread. This battle was far from over, and the stakes had never been higher. Piccolo's desire to annihilate Madara and his Akatsuki was simmering, and Goku knew that he had to be ready for anything.

Back on the cliffside, Hinata watched them go, her heart pounding. She knew she had to stay strong and trust in their, specifically Goku's, abilities. With the Dragon Balls stolen, the fate of the world was relatively in their hands.

The next few moments would determine everything.

The battlefield was a chaotic mess of dust, smoke, and the echoes of battle cries. Team Humanity, once a formidable alliance of Konoha and Iwa's finest, was now a desperate band of survivors fighting against two seemingly invincible androids. Androids 9 and 10 moved with precision and cold efficiency, their attacks devastating and their defenses impenetrable.

Master Shen lay lifeless on the ground, his body still warm from the fierce battle, his once-vaunted techniques proving no match for the sheer ferocity of the androids. Kitsuchi followed shortly after, his last defiant roar cut short by a swift, fatal blow from Android 9. The remaining fighters watched in horror as their comrades fell, their own desperation mounting with each passing moment.

Ohnoki hovered in the air, his aged form showing signs of fatigue. Every dodge, every missed shot, brought him closer to death. His eyes darted around, calculating, always seeking an opening that never came. He unleashed a Particle Style jutsu aimed directly at Android 10, but the machine dodged effortlessly, retaliating with a blast that Ohnoki barely avoided.

"These things... they're too fast," he muttered, his voice strained.

Lee and Gai, the only ones able to match the androids' speed, darted around their mechanical foes, launching powerful kicks and punches. "Gai-sensei, we need a new plan!" the former shouted, his movements a blur as he dodged another energy blast.

Gai's eyes narrowed with determination. "Keep pushing, Lee! We can't let up now!"

Meanwhile, Tenten, in her Mark 1 Iron Girl armor, was struggling to keep up with the androids' relentless attacks. Her chakra saber cut through the air, clashing with Android 9's arm, but the android simply shrugged off the attack, countering with a blow that sent Tenten crashing into a nearby building.

She groaned, her armor sparking. "I need to upgrade this suit... if I survive," she muttered.

Tien and Chiaotzu fought valiantly, their ki techniques lighting up the battlefield. "Dodon-pa!" Tien yelled, firing a beam at Android 10, but the attack barely left a scratch. Chiaotzu tried to use his telekinesis to hold the android in place, but Android 9 broke free with ease, delivering a powerful kick that sent Chiaotzu sprawling.

The two of them found themselves outclassed. Even Tien's Kikoho barely phased the androids, and Chiaotzu was completely ignored as if he were nothing. The former collapsed, his energy spent, while the latter barely managed to stay on his feet.

"Tien, get up!" Chiaotzu urged, his voice tinged with desperation.

"I'm trying," Tien groaned, his body trembling from the exertion. "They're just too strong."

Kurotsuchi, already injured, managed to rise to her feet and launch a lava jutsu at the androids. The molten rock splashed harmlessly off their metallic bodies. One swift strike from Android 10 knocked her out cold, her body crumpling to the ground.

Sasuke, watching the carnage, activated his Mangekyo Sharingan. "Amaterasu!" he cried, black flames engulfing the androids. But to his shock, the androids simply expelled energy, washing off the flames with a sizzling of raw power. The Uchiha's eyes widened in shock as his trump card was rendered useless.

"Damn it!" he spat, frustration evident in his voice. "Why won't they burn? What the hell was all of our training for?!"

Kakashi, his Sharingan glowing, stood beside Sasuke. "We're running out of options, Sasuke. We need to find a weakness."

"You're right," Sasuke said, his eyes scanning the battlefield. "But we don't have time to figure it out."

As the battle raged on, the androids continued their relentless assault. Lee and Gai managed to land a few hits, but their efforts were largely ineffective. The androids' durability was unmatched, and their adaptability made them nearly impossible to predict.

"Lee, Gai, we need to regroup!" Kakashi shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos.

Lee nodded, blood trickling from a cut on his forehead. "Right, Kakashi-sensei!"

The remaining fighters gathered, their breaths heavy and their bodies battered. "We can't keep fighting like this," Ohnoki said, his voice grim. "We need a new strategy."

"These androids are a lot stronger than Drum," Tenten said, her armor still sparking. "We can't take them head-on."

Kurotsuchi, barely conscious, added, "They're too fast... too durable..."

Kakashi looked around at his weary comrades, his mind racing. "We need to find a way to slow them down, isolate them."

Before they could formulate a new plan, the androids advanced once more, their eyes glowing with malevolent intent. The fighters braced themselves, knowing they were facing near-certain defeat.

Kakashi's Mangekyo Sharingan swirled as he attempted to use Kamui, but the androids never stayed still long enough for him to get a clear shot. Their intelligence and adaptability made them nigh impossible to hit.

"It's like they know our every move before we make it," Kakashi muttered, his eye beginning to strain from overuse.

"Keep fighting," Gai urged, his voice unwavering. "We can't give up now!"

As the androids closed in, the situation grew increasingly dire. The hope that had once fueled Team Humanity was dwindling, replaced by the harsh reality of their seemingly invincible foes.

And then, just as all seemed lost, a powerful energy surge washed over the battlefield, drawing the androids' attention. Everyone turned to see Goku and Piccolo Daimao flying overhead, their auras blazing as they raced against time.

"Get ready," Kakashi said, his eyes narrowing. "This fight isn't over yet."

The battlefield was chaos. Team Humanity was on the ropes, every tactic, every jutsu, falling short against the relentless assault of the androids. Blood, sweat, and tears mingled with the dirt as hope seemed to dwindle.

"Is this it?" Tien gasped, barely able to stand. "Are we really going to die here?"

"No," Lee said, struggling to his feet, his body battered and bruised. "We can't give up. We have to find a way."

The fighters prepared themselves for another round, their resolve hardened. They would fight to the bitter end, no matter the cost.

But deep down, they all knew that without a miracle, their chances of survival were slim. And as the battle raged on, the hope for victory seemed further out of reach than ever before.

In a flash, Goku and Piccolo Daimao rocketed through the sky, their auras blazing trails of light as they sped across the world. The five seconds it took to reach their destination seemed like an eternity, every nanosecond filled with the anticipation of what lay ahead. They burst into the Akatsuki's secret base with the force of a thousand hurricanes, shattering the walls and ceilings, reducing the fortress to rubble.

Amidst the chaos, members of the Akatsuki scattered like ants from a disturbed nest. The six paths of Pain, Deidara, Kakuzu, Kisame, and Tobi emerged, their eyes filled with shock and anger. But Goku and Piccolo did not pause for pleasantries or demands. This was a mission of swift and brutal retribution.

The Six Paths of Pain, their Rinnegan blazing, all launched a flurry of different attacks, weaponry, summonings, and jutsu, but Goku weaved through them with ease, his fists and feet moving in a blur. Each strike he landed sent shockwaves through the earth, reducing one path after another to nothing but broken dolls until none were left. Deidara, airborne with his clay creations, was turned to ashes in the sky by a single, devastating mouth blast from Piccolo Daimao. Kakuzu's threads tried to ensnare them, but Piccolo tore through them with a brutal ferocity, incinerating him with another mouth beam as well.

Kisame's sword clashed with Goku's aura, the shark-man's eyes widening in disbelief as Goku's sheer power overwhelmed him. With a final, bone-crushing punch, the shark was downed. Tobi, the masked enigma, stood before them, his Sharingan spinning with a dangerous glint.

"Where are the Dragon Balls?" Piccolo demanded, his voice a thunderous roar.

Tobi's masked face tilted, a mocking tone in his voice. "It's already too late. The last day has arrived: paradise is here. Forever."

Goku's eyes narrowed, a flash of anger igniting within him. He launched himself at Tobi, fist aimed to obliterate. The Masked Man's body seamlessly crumpled under the impact, but it was revealed to be a Zetsu clone, disintegrating into white goo.

The real Tobi was nowhere to be found.

Damnit. Not good.

Goku turned to Piccolo, his expression furious. "You couldn't sense the right one?!"

Piccolo's face twisted in frustration, but before he could respond, the sky darkened ominously once more. Far off on the horizon, an enormous green dragon, Shenron, materialized, its form coiling through the sky like an ethereal serpent.

"Shenron!" Goku shouted, his heart pounding. Without another word, he shot off toward the dragon, his speed breaking logic itself being beyond relativistic to the speed of light. Piccolo Daimao, cursing himself for his oversight, followed in hot pursuit.

As they closed in on Shenron, the stakes became painfully clear. They needed to stop whoever had summoned the dragon before it was too late. The fate of the world hinged on their next moves.

The darkened sky above Shenron cast an eerie glow over the land, the massive dragon's eyes glowing red as it awaited a wish. Goku and Piccolo raced toward the scene, their minds set on one thing: stopping the wish at any cost. But with Tobi's deception and the Akatsuki's cunning, the path ahead was fraught with uncertainty.

It was likely going to be a lost cause!

Goku and Piccolo Daimao arrived on the scene in a blur of speed, just miliseconds after Tobi's wish had been granted. Piccolo, his rage no longer contained, immediately shot a mouth beam at Shenron, intending to destroy the dragon once and for all. However, the Dragon Balls dispersed just in time, and the beam passed through empty air.

The nighttime sky did not clear, and an eerie silence settled over the battlefield.

They turned their gaze to Tobi, who stood amidst the chaos, his mask shattered from the transformation into the perfect jinchuriki.

His eyes, now a terrifying mix of the Rinnegan and Sharingan, glowed with an ominous power.

Before Goku and Piccolo could move to strike him down, a blinding light exploded from Tobi, bathing the entire world in its glow and erasing every shadow.

The ground shook violently as a massive tree, the Shinju, burst from the earth, its roots spreading like veins across the landscape. The God Tree grew rapidly, its branches extending past the clouds, and at its peak, a gigantic Rinnesharingan eye opened, casting its baleful gaze upon the world.

Goku and Piccolo found themselves compelled to look at the moon, which now reflected the overwhelming light of the Rinnesharingan. The light pierced through every defense, every barrier, and every will. Biological beings across the planet, from the strongest warriors to the weakest animals, fell victim to the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Goku's onyx eyes widened in shock as he felt the overwhelming power of the genjutsu. His body, despite its immense strength and resilience, began to succumb to the light. He fought to stay conscious, his mind battling against the illusion, but the power of the Rinnesharingan was too great.

"No... not like this!" Goku growled, his voice filled with defiance. He reached out towards Piccolo, who was also struggling against the overwhelming force.

Piccolo Daimao, despite his demonic strength and willpower, found himself falling under the spell of the Infinite Tsukuyomi. His eyes flickered with rage and fear as he realized the extent of Tobi's power. The light from the moon seemed to penetrate every fiber of his being, pulling him into a dream world where his desires were twisted into nightmares he reveled in.

"Curse you, Unmasked One!" Piccolo roared, his voice echoing in the blinding light. "This isn't over!"

Hinata, standing on the cliffside, watched in horror as the Shinju's roots spread across the landscape, ensnaring everything in their path. Her Byakugan allowed her to see the tendrils of chakra being drawn into the tree, the life force of the world being siphoned away.

"Stay strong, Goku..." she whispered, her voice trembling. "Stay strong for all of us."

In the midst of the chaos, Tobi, or should say Obito, stood tall, his new form radiating power. He looked down at the world he had reshaped, a twisted smile playing on his lips. "Paradise is here," he declared, his voice carrying across the distance. "Forever."

Goku, his vision blurring, managed one last act of defiance. He reached deep within himself, summoning the last reserves of his strength. "This... isn't... over!" he shouted, his voice filled with unwavering resolve. "We'll... stop you!"

But as the light from the moon intensified, even Goku's formidable will began to falter. The Infinite Tsukuyomi's power was absolute, and one by one, the heroes fell into the eternal dream.

As the world was engulfed by the Infinite Tsukuyomi, the God Tree's roots wrapped around everything, drawing the chakra from all living beings. Goku's consciousness began to fade, and in his last moments of awareness, he made a silent vow to fight, no matter how dire the circumstances. The world slipped into an eerie, dreamlike silence, with Obito's twisted vision of paradise taking hold.

Would there be any hope left in the face of such overwhelming power?

The blinding light of the Infinite Tsukuyomi spread across the world, casting its unrelenting glow over every corner of the Earth. Activities came to an abrupt halt, conversations were cut short, and battles were suddenly paused as everyone fell victim to the overpowering genjutsu.

In Konoha, Tsunade was in the middle of strategizing with her council when the light hit. Their eyes widened in unison, and their expressions turned blank as they were ensnared by the genjutsu. Tsunade melted into serene bliss as she found herself in a perfect world where her loved ones were alive and well. Her brother Nawaki and her lover Dan stood beside her, smiling, their presence filling her with unending peace. She was no longer burdened by the responsibilities of Hokage, but instead, she was free to enjoy a life filled with joy and love.

Haku's cautious demeanor softened into a dreamlike state where she was reunited with Zabuza. They lived in a peaceful village where Zabuza was no longer the Demon of the Mist but a respected protector. She and Sasuke also had a family full of Uchiha-Yuki hybrids, and Haku was surrounded by love and acceptance. Yugao's sharp eyes dulled with the allure of the perfect dream world where Hayate was alive and well, their love untouched by the tragedy that had once befallen them. They lived a simple yet fulfilling life, free from the horrors of war. And a splash of Goku running around in a joyous stage, free from being burdened with world class battles.

In Sunagakure, Gaara was patrolling the village alongside Chi-Chi, Ino, Shikamaru, Neji, and Temari. The light washed over them, and one by one, they fell silent and still. Gaara, who had fought so hard to find his place in the world, now stood motionless, his sand forming a cocoon around him. In his dream, he was loved and accepted by everyone in Sunagakure. He had a family of his own with a certain black haired, black eyed female martial artist who he was too awestruck to name, and his siblings were always by his side. He no longer carried the burden of the Ichibi, and he ruled as the Kazekage in a time of peace and prosperity.

Chi-Chi's maternal instincts softened into a serene calm as she found herself in a world where Goku was always by her side. Their family was whole, and Goku was a responsible husband and father, always present and caring. And standing in the peripheral of that dream was... Gaara? Ino's lively spirit was subdued as she experienced a life where she was the most powerful kunoichi, respected and admired by all. She had achieved everything she ever wanted, including finding true love and starting a family, with Goku and Lee battling it out for that role of husband.

Shikamaru's sharp mind dulled as he found himself in a perfect reality where all his friends were safe, and there were no threats to their peaceful existence. He lived a life of ease, free from the burdens of leadership and strategy. He and Temari could watch clouds forever. Temari's fierce protectiveness melted into tranquility as she found herself living a happy life with Shikamaru, their family growing and thriving in a peaceful village.

Neji found himself in a transformed Hyuga compound where the oppressive class system no longer existed. The branch and main families mingled freely, their foreheads unmarked by the caged bird seal. Neji's father, Hizashi, stood tall and free, his eyes filled with pride and warmth as he placed a hand on Neji's shoulder. Neji trained alongside Hinata and Hanabi, not as a protector bound by duty, but as a brother and equal, respected for his skills and character.

Kumogakure was no different. Ay, the Raikage, was in the middle of a heated discussion with Bee, C, and Darui about their next strategic move. The light hit, and their argument froze in time. Ay's unyielding willpower was no match for the Infinite Tsukuyomi as he found himself in a world where he had achieved all his goals. Kumogakure was the strongest village, and he was a revered leader, loved and respected by all.

Bee's rhythmic hums fell silent as he found himself in a world where he was the greatest rapper and shinobi, his talents recognized worldwide. He had a peaceful life, always surrounded by friends and admirers. C's perceptive gaze turned inward as he found himself in a world where he was the most powerful sensory ninja, his abilities unmatched. He lived a life of fulfillment, always using his skills to protect his loved ones.

Darui's confident stance relaxed as he found himself living a life where he had achieved all his dreams. He was the most trusted advisor to the Raikage, and his strength was unparalleled. He had a family of his own and lived a life of peace and happiness.

Even Master Roshi, Launch, and Turtle on their remote island were affected. Roshi's lecherous antics came to a halt as he was drawn into a peaceful reverie where he was a revered martial arts master. He lived a life of respect and admiration, always surrounded by his students who sought his wisdom.

Launch, caught between her two personalities, found a rare moment of unity and calm. In her dream, she was no longer split into two but lived as a single, whole person. She was happy and content, living a peaceful life on the island. Turtle, always the observer, slipped into a quiet contentment where he was surrounded by his friends, always cared for and loved.

Elsewhere, Dr. Gero, who had remained hidden and cautious, felt the overwhelming power of the genjutsu. His human form crumpled under the weight of the perfect dream, his calculating mind no longer concerned with his grand schemes. In his dream, he had created the perfect world where his androids were the ultimate protectors against powers like Son Goku and Piccolo Daimao, bringing peace and order to the world.

Hinata, on the cliffside, felt her consciousness slipping away. Despite her best efforts, the power of the Infinite Tsukuyomi was too great. She sank to her knees, her Byakugan fading as she was drawn into the illusion. Her last thought was of Goku, hoping he would find a way to overcome this. In her dream, she was married to Goku, and they lived a peaceful life together. They had a family, and Goku was always by her side, supporting and loving her.

The members of Team Humanity, engaged in their desperate battle against the androids, were caught mid-action. Lee and Tien, who had been giving their all, froze, their expressions softening as the genjutsu took hold. Tenshinhan's dream cast him as a legendary assassin, renowned and feared across the lands for his unparalleled skill and precision. He moved through the shadows with grace, executing missions with flawless efficiency, his name whispered with awe and respect. Rock Lee's dream was one where he stood atop the highest peak of the ninja world, hailed as the greatest taijutsu master of all time, surpassing even his revered sensei and Son Goku. He received his validation and he was surrounded by friends and mentors who admired and supported him unconditionally. And last but not least, he was with the girl he had grown to love, Ino Yamanaka.

Kakashi, Sasuke, and Tenten also fell silent and still. In Kakashi's dream, he was reunited with his friends and loved ones, living a peaceful life free from the burdens of his past. Sasuke found himself in a world where his clan was alive and well, his wife was Haku, and he had achieved all his goals. Tenten, in her dream, was the most powerful kunoichi due to her talents, her skills and inventions recognized and admired by all.

Ohnoki, who had been directing the battle, found his age-old wisdom and experience insufficient against the power of the Infinite Tsukuyomi. In his dream, he had achieved all his goals, and Iwagakure was the strongest village. He lived a life of respect and admiration, always surrounded by his loved ones. Kurotsuchi's dream cast her as the revered Tsuchikage, leading Iwagakure into an era of unprecedented peace and prosperity. Under her leadership, the village thrived, forging strong alliances and innovations in both technology and ninjutsu as she honored her grandfather's legacy.

Naruto and Jiraiya sat around a small campfire in a secluded clearing, the flames casting dancing shadows on their faces. The night was quiet, the only sounds being the crackling fire and distant chirping of insects. They had been away from Konoha for over a year, immersed in intense training.

Naruto broke the silence, his voice filled with determination. "Ero-sennin, do you think we should head to Kirigakure? I heard Piccolo Daimao is causing a lot of trouble there. We could help."

Jiraiya scratched his chin thoughtfully. "It's not a bad idea, Naruto. But we need to be careful. Piccolo Daimao is incredibly powerful. We can't rush in without a plan."

Naruto's eyes sparkled with resolve. "We can't just sit back and do nothing! I've trained hard, and I know we can make a difference."

Jiraiya looked at his young student, pride and concern mingling in his gaze. "I know you've grown stronger, Naruto. But strength alone isn't enough. We need to be smart about this."

Before Naruto could respond, the moonlight intensified, and a strange, otherworldly glow enveloped them. The Infinite Tsukuyomi had been cast, its eerie light entrapping them both in a powerful genjutsu. Their eyes glazed over as they were pulled into their deepest dreams.

Naruto found himself standing in the middle of Konoha, but it was different. The village was bustling with activity, laughter echoing from every corner. People greeted him with genuine smiles, and he felt an overwhelming sense of belonging. At the center of it all was Sakura, her emerald eyes filled with warmth and affection.

"Naruto-kun," Sakura called out, her voice sweet and inviting. She walked towards him, her smile making his heart race. "You're amazing, you know that? The way you've protected the village, everyone looks up to you."

Naruto scratched the back of his head, a sheepish grin spreading across his face. "Sakura-chan, you really think so?"

Sakura nodded, her expression serious now. "Yes, Naruto. You've become a true hero. The village wouldn't be the same without you."

Naruto's heart swelled with pride and happiness. This was all he had ever wanted, to be acknowledged and loved by his village and by Sakura. As they stood together, he felt an intense, almost surreal, sense of peace.

Sakura stepped closer, her hand gently touching Naruto's cheek. "I've always admired you, Naruto-kun. Your determination, your spirit... it's inspiring."

Naruto blushed, his heart pounding in his chest. "Sakura-chan... I..."

Before he could finish, Sakura leaned in and kissed him softly. The world around them seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of them in a moment of pure bliss.

Jiraiya found himself in a tranquil, idyllic version of Konoha, much like the one Naruto experienced, but his was tinged with nostalgia and a deep sense of fulfillment. He walked through the streets, seeing familiar faces and landmarks, each filled with happy memories.

He arrived at a small house where a beautiful woman with long, blonde hair awaited him. Tsunade stood in the doorway, her eyes soft and loving. "Jiraiya," she called, her voice filled with affection.

"Tsunade…" Jiraiya's voice was choked with emotion. He walked towards her, his heart pounding. "Is this real?"

Tsunade smiled, reaching out to touch his face. "It's as real as you want it to be, Jiraiya. You've always been a dreamer."

They embraced, and for the first time in years, Jiraiya felt complete. He was with the woman he loved, in a village that was safe and at peace. He felt like he had finally found his place.

Jiraiya gazed into Tsunade's eyes, his voice tender. "I never stopped loving you, Tsunade. Not for a single moment."

Tsunade's eyes glistened with unshed tears. "I know, Jiraiya. And I regret not telling you sooner... I love you too."

As they shared a passionate kiss, the years of unspoken feelings and missed opportunities melted away. They were finally together, and nothing else mattered.

As the roots of the Shinju spread across the world, drawing chakra from every living being, Obito stood triumphant. His transformation complete, he surveyed the scene with satisfaction. The plan he had orchestrated for so long had finally come to fruition.

The world was now his to reshape, to mold into his vision of peace.

But even in this moment of triumph, there was an unease. The perfect dream world was not as it seemed, and the consequences of an unexplainable alteration were yet to be revealed.

As the world lay ensnared in the Infinite Tsukuyomi, an eerie silence fell. The Shinju's roots continued to grow, tightening their grip on the planet. Obito, now the perfect jinchuriki, looked to the horizon, where the first signs of the unexpected consequences of his wish began to manifest. The sky darkened further, and a foreboding presence loomed, hinting at a new threat that even Obito had not anticipated.

The fate of the world hung in the balance, with the heroes trapped in an illusion and an unseen danger lurking just beyond the edge of reality. The battle was far from over, and the true cost of the wish was about to be revealed.

In the dreamscape crafted by the genjutsu, Goku found himself standing in a picturesque valley, surrounded by a vibrant forest and a crystal-clear river running through it. The sky was perpetually painted in hues of dawn and dusk, casting a serene glow over the land. Birds sang sweet melodies, and a gentle breeze carried the scent of blooming flowers.

Goku stood at the edge of a quaint village where familiar faces filled the streets, living in harmony. Hinata, his wife in this dream world, stood beside him with a loving smile. Their children played nearby, laughter filling the air. Lee, Ino, Yugao, Naruto, Sasuke, Shikamaru, Krillin, Roshi, Gaara, Temari, Chi-Chi, and Haku were all there, enjoying the peace and happiness of this idyllic life.

Goku and Hinata's children, a blend of their strengths and personalities, ran around the village, sparring playfully with Lee and Naruto's kids. Gaara and Temari watched over them with warm expressions, their own dreams of a united and peaceful world realized. Krillin and Roshi shared tales of old adventures while Chi-Chi and Haku prepared a feast for everyone.

The tranquility was profound, and the sense of fulfillment was overwhelming. Goku trained with Sasuke and Lee, feeling the joy of pushing his limits without the weight of world-ending threats. Naruto, always eager for a challenge, joined in their sparring matches, filling the air with energy and camaraderie.

However, something gnawed at Goku's core. This world, as perfect as it seemed, felt hellaciously off. The peace was too absolute, the harmony too flawless. The fire of battle, the thrill of facing powerful opponents, was absent. His Saiyan blood, which thrived on the challenge of growing stronger, felt stifled.

As days turned into weeks in this dream, Goku's frustration grew. The lack of conflict and the unending peace began to wear on him. He missed the adrenaline of combat, the satisfaction of overcoming a formidable foe. Even as he smiled and laughed with his loved ones, an increasingly large part of him yearned for the excitement of battle.

One day, while sparring with Sasuke, Goku's emotions boiled over. Sasuke's attacks lacked the intensity of their real-world encounters. The thrill of pushing his limits was absent. The Saiyan's punches became fiercer, his movements more aggressive.

"C'mon, Sasuke!" Goku shouted, his voice echoing through the dreamscape. "Fight me for real! Give it everything you've got!"

Sasuke looked confused, his Sharingan flaring with concern. "Goku, this is just a friendly spar. There's no need to go all out."

But Goku's frustration only grew. "This isn't right! This world... it's too perfect. It's not real!"

Hinata, sensing Goku's turmoil, approached him. "Goku-kun, what's wrong? We have more than everything we could ever want here. Peace, family, happiness..."

Goku turned to her, his eyes filled with a mix of anger and sorrow. "Hinata, I love you and our family, but this... this isn't me. I need to fight. I need to get stronger. This peace... it's suffocating!"

As his frustration reached its peak, the very fabric of the dream began to tremble. Cracks formed in the idyllic scenery, the sky darkening as if mirroring Goku's turmoil. The peace that the Tsukuyomi promised was being shattered by Goku's indomitable will.

- Flashback no Jutsu -

In the depths of the forest on Planet Cereal, Bardock faced the ancient Namekian, Monaito. The battle against the Gas and the Heeters had pushed the Namekian to his limits, but he still had one last resort: the planet's Dragon Balls. Bardock, sensing the opportunity to ensure a future for his children, approached Monaito with a serious expression.

Monaito, holding the two small Dragon Balls, summoned the Eternal Dragon, Toronbo. As the dragon emerged, its vast form towering above the treetops, the Namekian turned to the Saiyan. "Make your wish, Saiyan."

Bardock took a deep breath, the image of his two sons, Kakarot and Raditz, flashing in his mind. He knew the dangers they would face and the brutal path of a Saiyan warrior. With a determined look, he spoke his wish.

"Eternal Dragon, I wish for my sons, Kakarot and Raditz, to grow up strong and resilient. Let them thrive and overcome any hardships they face. Ensure that they have the strength to survive and prosper, no matter the challenges ahead."

Toronbo's eyes glowed brightly as he processed Bardock's wish. "Your wish is within my power. It shall be granted."

With that, the dragon's power surged, casting a protective force over Bardock's sons, meant to guide and support them through their futures.

In a blinding flash, the dreamscape dissolved, and Goku found himself standing in a void of purple, a strange, ethereal realm that seemed to exist outside of time and space. Before him stood a man in peculiar armor, his silhouette strikingly familiar. He looked like an older version of himself, a warrior hardened by countless battles.

The two stared at each other, the void around them pulsating with energy. Goku's hand reached out instinctively, mirroring a gesture from his infancy when he had touched that same man's hand through a glass tube.

The older warrior mirrored the gesture, their hands moving closer and closer...

As their hands were about to touch, the void seemed to tremble with the weight of their connection.

The air crackled with power, and for a brief moment, Goku felt a rush of memories and emotions from infancy...

That belonged to a Saiyan named Kakarot.
