Talk
Thankfully, AJ was only working with Lyla for the day which meant she'd gladly avoided questions from Becca and Shiv on why she looked so miserable, or why Punk's display board across the road still had 'we can talk later' on it.
All she had thought about all day was what she was going to say to him, trying to make sense of all these feelings she had. She knew he hadn't really done anything drastically wrong, yet the first thing he'd done this morning was put on display his apologies for her to see, bright and clear.
She figured perhaps the reason she had gotten so mad was because she was scared of losing him. She'd finally found someone who she felt comfortable with. Who she could be her complete true self with. The thought of losing that now was terrifying.
"You going over there? His lights are still on." Lyla said, putting her jacket on after they'd cleaned up the shop after closing.
"Yeah, I'll go talk to him." AJ nodded, "Still don't know what I'm going to say."
"Tell him everything you told me. Just be honest with him. That's why you enjoy being with him so much, right? You can be totally honest with him." Lyla said as AJ nodded.
"Easier said than done." AJ scoffed, "You want some of these cakes to take home with you?" She asked, holding a box of leftover cakes which they hadn't sold throughout the course of the day.
"Yeah, I'll take them." Lyla shrugged, taking the box from her, "See you tomorrow, sunshine." She smiled, leaning over and kissing AJ's cheek.
"See you tomorrow." AJ smiled, watching her leave the shop.
She put on her own jacket and grabbed her bag, locking up the shop and pulling the shutters down before walking across the road to Punk's shop.
She went to open up the door when she noticed it was locked, which wasn't embarrassing at all as she stood knocking at the door, watching Punk eventually appear from the back.
He headed straight to the door and unlocked it.
"Why are you locking your door?" AJ shook her head, walking inside the shop.
"Because it's getting dark outside." Punk said, as if it was obvious.
"This is like the safest town ever. I don't think a single crime has been committed here." AJ scoffed.
"I call bullshit." Punk shook his head, locking the door back over as she rolled her eyes, "Do you want some coffee? I still got the machine on." He said.
"No, I'm ok." AJ shook her head, "Daryl and Finn still here?" She wondered, hoping they weren't.
"No, they left about a half hour ago." Punk nodded, "I'm just finishing up cleaning the kitchen." He said.
"Can we talk?" She asked as he nodded.
"Can I… say something first?" Punk asked her.
"Yeah." AJ nodded, sitting her bag on one of the tables.
"I'm sorry for… losing my head a little last night." He nodded, "I really was not expecting Sophie to show up. She's been here once, weeks ago. Everything I said to you about you having rules and restrictions… that was fucked up and I'm sorry. I just hated seeing you walk out so angry with me." He admitted.
"Have you contacted Sophie?" AJ wondered, "Because you should probably apologise to her, too."
"I already have." Punk assured her, "It wasn't until you'd both left that I realised that was probably really humiliating for her. I should have given her the heads up that I was with you… but, I didn't really know if I was with you… I didn't know if you were just testing the waters with me." He admitted.
"What?" AJ shook her head.
"Which I was fine with." Punk assured her, "But… with you not being with a guy in six years, I didn't know if you were just feeling things out with me. Maybe you don't want anything serious, I don't know." He shrugged.
"There's a reason I haven't been with anyone until now." AJ assured him, "I just wanted some time to… get to know you first. In our own little bubble. Before we committed to anything more serious. I thought you knew that."
"I didn't know if you were just saying that to keep me at bay." Punk shrugged.
"Of course I wasn't." AJ said, "I guess that's why I got so mad last night. Because I do feel serious about you and seeing another woman step into your apartment with nothing but her underwear on under her coat was… not on my bingo card." She admitted.
"Yeah, it sounds worse when you say it out loud." Punk groaned, running his hand through his slicked back hair as she smiled a little.
"I feel so out of the loop." She admitted.
"What do you mean?" He shook his head.
"I don't really know how to have a boyfriend." She shrugged, swallowing the lump in her throat, "And I'm feeling all these different feelings for you that I've never had before. Not even before I was attacked. The thought of you still having some kind of connection with your ex just… it upset me." She said truthfully, "And I know I don't have a right to feel upset because we've only been sleeping together, and you were with her for two years so of course you might still feel some things for her but…"
"April." Punk shook his head, interrupting her rambling as he watched her take a bit of a deep breath, "There is only one woman who is on my mind. Morning, noon and night. And it's not Sophie." He assured her as she looked up at him, feeling him walk a little closer to her, "It's obviously you."
"Obviously?" She whispered.
"Yes. It's pretty obvious." Punk smiled a little.
"Like I said. I'm not accustomed to having someone being obsessed with me." She shrugged as he chuckled, watching her smile a little.
"Would you go on a date with me, please?" He nodded.
"Yes." She nodded quietly.
"You shouldn't doubt your feelings or your capability to be a girlfriend." Punk shook his head, tucking her hair behind her ear, "It's not something you teach it's just… natural if you're with the right person. Dating isn't any different from what we've been doing so far." He admitted truthfully.
"Only now you have to take me to fancy restaurants?" AJ nodded as he chuckled.
"If that's your kinda thing." Punk nodded, "Name the place and we'll go."
"Let me think on it." She said as he nodded, leaning down and kissing her softly.
His words rang true because she had come over here having no idea what to say to him, yet the words just naturally flowed. It was almost as if he was becoming a part of her. A necessary part that she needed to function. She'd been alone for six years, never having met anyone who made her feel comfortable enough to share her body and soul with. She knew why he had been the one to help her reclaim that part of her life she'd lost when she had been raped. Because he was the one. And that was a terrifying and exciting thought.
She took her jacket off as he continued to kiss her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close once she'd shrugged her jacket off.
"Can we get out of here?" She mouthed against his lips.
"Can we do it here?" Punk suggested instead, kissing down to her neck as she chuckled.
"Someone could see us." AJ shook her head.
"Wait." Punk nodded, leaving her embrace as she watched him open up the door and pull down the grey, steel shutters to cover the entirety of the windows. He then stepped back into the shop, closing the door and locking it.
"Better?" He asked her as she smiled.
"You're really that desperate?" She chuckled as he walked back over to her.
"Always." He nodded, kissing her again passionately before lifting her up onto one of the tables in a swift movement as she gasped a little into his mouth.
"This is not hygienic." AJ muttered, feeling him kiss down her neck as she leaned her hands, palms flat, behind her on the table.
"You don't want me to fuck you on this table?" He whispered in her ear as she smirked, "Hmm?" He nudged her neck, going back to kissing it as she rolled her head back.
"I do." She moaned, already feeling herself slick between her thighs.
He unbuttoned her jeans and undone her zip, pushing them down with her panties as she lifted her hips to help him get them down easier.
He placed the pad of his fingers between her folds, finding her clit which he began to rub in quick motions as she bit her lip and moaned at the blissful feeling.
"Feel good?" He asked, going back to kissing her neck whilst he stroked her.
"Mhm." AJ whimpered, focusing on nothing but the tightening of her core and the tingling pleasure building up within her. To walk away from this man, to scare herself out of being with him would be nothing but a punishment to herself.
He unbuttoned his own jeans after getting her even more wet than she already was, pushing them down with his boxers just enough to free his extremely hard length.
"Shit… I don't have a condom." Punk said in between the frantic panting and moaning.
"I can get plan B." AJ shook her head.
"Are you sure?" He asked her.
"Yes." She nodded, grabbing his hips and pulling him closer as he smiled, leaning down and kissing her lips passionately whilst he pulled her closer to the edge of the table, holding her up a little so she was in line with him. He then pushed himself inside of her slowly as she moaned and wrapped her arms around him to hold his back.
"Fuck." He moaned, placing a hand on the table to steady himself. There was no greater feeling, and the desperation they had to take each other right here, right now, made it even more thrilling.
He began thrusting in and out of her, kissing her neck as she moaned out with each thrust.
"You feel so good inside of me." AJ whispered, leaning her forehead on his arm, enjoying the much more intense feeling of him without a condom on, knowing for a fact he was enjoying it more just by his thrusts and his own moans.
"Fuck, you're the best I've ever felt." Punk moaned, cupping her face, "Look at me." He nodded as she opened her eyes, looking up at him as he continued to thrust into her, "Look at me whilst you come." He said, reaching hand down between their bodies, finding her clit and stroking it again whilst also thrusting into her.
The combination of it, the tense looks on his face, the way she could feel through his body just how much he wanted her, she came undone and made sure to look at him whilst she did so.
"Fuck." AJ moaned and panted, her body shuddering at the intense orgasm as he slowed his thrusts to let her revel in it.
"You're so beautiful." He shook his head as she continued looking up at him, a dazed look of pleasure now on her face as she brought his lips to hers.
He increased the pace of his thrusts again until eventually he came inside of her, gripping her hips and moaning as he felt that sweet release, burying his face into her neck as she kissed the side of his head by his temple.
"You should sit Linda at this table tomorrow." AJ finally said after a few minutes of just holding each other in a cocoon of pleasure.
"You're sick." Punk chuckled into her neck as she smiled.
