Arcellious walks down the hall and goes to the school card shop. As he entered he saw Itachi talking with a man a year younger than arcellious with blonde hair and glasses. "When did you get a job working here?" Arcellious asked the man. "I didn't i just wanted to see your reaction to me being behind the counter" the man said as he walked around and took off the school apron and walked to Arcellious. "I take it stern told you bout the code thirteen or did you hear it from me kurt?" Arcellious said. "Stern did. He sent me a message saying 'code thirteen, time to shine'" Kurt said reciting the message.
"Glad you could make it. Now… as for you itachi… i have one very serious question for you?" Arcellious said. "What do you want to know?" Itachi asked. "What's this i'm hearing from grandpa that you can use the egyptian gods now?" Arcellious said. "It's a bit hard to explain, but basically they picked me as their 'vessel' and as a result i am allowed to use them" Itachi said doing air quotes around vessel. "How did they pick you?" Arcellious said. "They saw my dueling skills were on par with the nameless pharaoh and came to me in a dream. As a result we made a contract together and they now inhabit my soul room" Itachi said.
"Same thing with the wicked gods and sacred beasts guys?" Arcellious asked. "Kakashi got it because of me. We were dueling and he couldn't stand that i had the egyptian gods and asked me to ask them if there were any other vessels that needed a host and got the sacred beasts as a result" Itachi said. "What about the wicked gods?" Kurt asked. "Elza got them before she came here, how she did? I have no idea. All i know is it's a very sensitive topic" Itachi said.
"How does one become a vessel?" Arcellious asked. "It's through a system in the spirit world. Basically it can only be done through god like cards that have no archetype to them, they must also meet certain qualifications. Like with me being as skilled as the nameless pharaoh for instance" Itachi said. "Who all is apart of it if I may?" Kurt asked. "The only ones I know of, are as follows. Egyptian, Sacred beasts, Wicked, Earthbound Immortals, Z-arc and Exodia. Exodia used to be allowed but since they made his forms into a archetype he no longer qualified. Even then he didn't want to be apart of it anyway. The immortals are different. The only thing i do know is that they are not of this world…" Itachi said.
"What do you mean by that?" Arcellious asked. The eye of wdjat appeared on Itachi's forehead "Exactly as it sounds. They are not from this dimension, and are in fact from another. How they were able to cross over is unknown" a deep voice said. The eye faded as Itachi placed his hand over his eye. "Damnit obelisk, how many times do I have to tell you not to do that!" Itachi said. "Hey relax, it's fine. He made it very clear" Arcellious said.
"I have an idea. Since you've gained the egyptian gods in our absence… how about a little one vs two duel. Since stern isn't here yet or at least to my knowledge… we can have it be mabudachi vs the apprentice" Kurt proposed. "You got a copy of my real deck cause i brought my old one" Arcellious said. "Right here" Kurt said pulling it out. "If you insist, but just remember one thing Arcellious. I know how to play without thinking. So good luck trying to predict my actions" Itachi said. "Yet i'll still be able to see what cards you'll be drawing" Arcellious pointed out. "Hm touché" Itachi said and activated his duel disk.
"How will we do life points?" Kurt asked as he shuffled his deck. "We can share the 8000" Arcellious said as he shuffled his deck. "My life points stay the same?" Itachi asked as he shuffled his deck. "Yeah they are" Arcellious said placing his deck inside the deck holder. "Good, i wouldn't want any excuses of me winning just because my life points were higher as a result" Itachi said placing his deck in his deck holder. Kurt gave a small smile and placed his deck in and activated his duel disk. "Mind if i go first since i'm at the disadvantage?" Itachi asked. "Oh by all means go right ahead" arcellious said.
