... Before you read today's insane chapter, I just want to express that even though I've gotten so little reviews; I am thankful for you all interested and even loving this simple fanfic. I still have my hopes one day it will be mentioned in TV Tropes or a site similar like that.
I've just had a rough number of months involving my terrible neighbors, my grandma losing her teeth and then scammed and my dog having cancer (my mother refuses to have her operated). I... I feel like sometimes I want to end it all. It's been too rough with no job (due to family and my own bad experience) and I've lost faith many times.
At the least when writing this; Yugi and the others don't lose faith because regardless of corruption and evil (unlike in the real world); the heroes always overcome the odds and create a miracle. And that's a nice message to believe in, right?

Hello to all, this is Chapter 20 of the third Arc of Volume 6: Climax in Hueco Mundo!
Intro: The Earth... is a great place where humanity and all other creatures live and learn to evolve little by little, but this great world has Darkness in it too. Evil beings who wish to conquer this world and everyone.
Only one being stood against them to show everyone the power of light and hope, but this great mythical dragon wasn't able to stop them. He gave his powers and hope to a human that was known by his name, the Dragon Knight!
Before this hero also met his end, he gave the legendary Dragon Sword and his hopes and dreams to the next knight, his youngest son who is destined to become a legend by the sides of his comrades and his love. This hero... is the Dragon Knight of Light!

Volume 6: Chapter 20: The Grasping Future, the Forbidden Miracle!
Previously in DKR:
Deep Blue began overpowering True Dragon Blade mode Yugi with his Resurrección, clearly showing his supremacy over him. Haruto and even Kojan arrived to stop the Arrancar but the Dragon Knight stopped them, knowing he was the only one to stop him. Not wanting to get his friends hurt since he knew how Deep Blue acts, Yugi decided to enter Tailed 3 Yin-Yang Dragon Mode to change the battlefield. Ichigo, frowning as she can't just let him fight all alone; needed to be there for him. Grunting as she asked for his help, Kojan helped take her and the others to follow them.
Leading the fight in the highest point of Last Noches in the same tower, Deep Blue began losing as Yugi goes 4th Tailed and surpasses him. However, the hybrid Alien God showcased the power Aizen has granted him; Segunda Etapa. Becoming a true frozen demon god; Deep Blue overpowered and crushed Yugi with no mercy even when he entered 5th Tailed but he could not exceed any further. The fight sadly was too much and Deep Blue nearly killed him again… until he was saved by Mew Ichigo and the others just as Yugi blacked out.
What will happen now?
And now the conclusion... last left off:
Time freezes as Mew Ichigo grabs onto the badly wounded Yugi, holding him closely in her arms as they fall… and Deep Blue is right above them and his energy sword over his head.
"Naïve woman.'' He utters out. swinging his sword downward towards them. There was nothing they can do to-
''FLAME SHOOTING STRIKE! HI-HI-HI! HI-HI-HI!'' Deep Blue quickly looks downward as a powerful flame shot is coming at him but he doesn't budge as his swing will still-
''GRAVITY, PLEASE!'' Suddenly his body is pulled out of his control, causing his swing to miss and flying into the fire blast as it explodes.
Mew Ichigo blinks as she and the unconscious Yugi are dropping slowly thanks to Wizard's Gravity Wizard Ring, raising it with that hand and moving downward as they fall while gripping on his WizarSwordGun with his other hand. He sets them on the ground as the cat girl sighs of relief and places Yugi on the ground flat, manifesting her Strawberry Bell and pressures it on his wounded chest. She begins washing her magic across his body, trying to heal him.
''Ichigo, is he-'' Wizard asks, raising his gun as Deep Blue emerges from the smoke but the cat girl protests, pouring her healing magic into him. ''LET ME FOCUS NYA!''
The rider nods as he fires multiple fire shots at Deep Blue releases a burst of his Spiritual Energy, washing over the shots and freezing theme. He then vanishes and reappears to his side, swinging his sword upward as Wizard blocks it with his weapon, switching it into sword form. Sparks fly out until it's too much and it sends him flying backwards. Wizard grunts, touching his chest as it's nearly frozen by that swing alone.
''It's futile. He will die soon.'' Deep Blue vows, going to put an end to Ichigo and Yugi. She panics, forming a barrier around them but the alien god swings his great sword downward, cutting through the barrier and nearly slashes down the cat girl… until a sword intercepts his. He widens his eyes as he is stopped by Kojan and his Dragon Rakurai sword. Their swords lock, sparks flying out as both swordsmen gaze at the other. Deep Blue begins to feel off as Kojan uses Genjutsu from his Sharingan eyes, paralyzing him enough to manifest a Susanoo arm and punches him far away, crashing across the wall of a pillar.
''SQUALL RELEASE: YASAKA MAGATAMA!'' Manifesting the clothed Susanoo form, Kojan shouts as his avatar manifests and throws 6 vermillion colored fiery-lightning energy-shaped projectiles resembling Shurikens that resembles Kojan's Mangekyou Sharingan coming right at Deep Blue that connect and explodes on impact, blasting across that pillar and shattering that side of its wall.
''Hurry up then!'' Kojan yells at the Mew Mew, going to stall for time as she heals him. She stares at him in surprise before she nods firmly. Kojan dashes forward, his Susanno swinging an energy sword through the puff of smoke as it's blocked by Deep Blue's sword. The smoke dissolves, revealing him undamaged as he widens his eyes as the Susanoo's sword and arm are frozen instantly and shattered. Kojan still comes at him with Dragonaun Raigeki but Deep Blue releases a burst of dark blue lightning, clashing against the opposing electricity.
Jonouchi and the others run over to see in horror to see Ichigo healing the deeply wounded Yugi.
''Yugi…'' Anzu utters out with a stunned, frightened expression. Mew Plum grits her teeth, growling towards Deep Blue and was about to jump in to fight him but Riolu barks at her, telling her he can feel Yugi's aura.
''So Yugi is-'' The dog girl understands him just as the glow of Mew Ichigo brightens, pouring more of her energy as she speaks up emotionally. ''Hold on, Yugi-kun Nya!'' Skitty purrs worryingly.
Masaya frowns, feeling powerless again to do anything again.
Just then an explosion occurs as Kojan lands on the ground, breathing softly with some scratches as Deep Blue hovers in the ground. He then tanks shots from Wizard's gun, grunting as he can't even scratch him.
Taichi grunts upset, not going to stand around when that enemy is that powerful. He turns to the yellow dinosaur Digimon, looking up just as mad and decides they need all the help, ordering him. ''Let's go, Agumon!''
Agumon eyes him and smiles, nodding determinedly. ''Right, Taichi!'' He charges forward as Taichi squeezes his Digivice, beginning to glow an orange light.
''AGUMON, EVOLVE!'' Agumon begins to cry out, his body covered in digital energy as he grows and expands into… ''GREYMON!''
The large dinosaur charges in as he inhales and shouts, breathing out a powerful fireball from its mouth. ''MEGA FLAME!'' He breathes it out towards Deep Blue who sees it coming and swings his blade, shouting. ''HOJA CONGELADA TEMIDA!'' He releases an intense energy slash from his sword, so cold it is almost absolute zero. The two attacks collide, streams of flames and frost flying around them before both attacks cancel each other out.
Deep Blue vanishes and reappears in front of him, swinging his sword to slash the dinosaur with such force that he's slammed backwards and hits the ground with a THUD.
''Greymon!'' Taichi shouts in horror as his partner growls, his data leaking out across his chest like a wound. Deep Blue flies at the injured Digimon but Wizard intercepts in his Land Style form, swinging his right palm to strike his chest with enough force to push him away. The Arrancar brushes off the hit as he leans his head to the side, just evading a Dragonaun Raigeki from Kojan. He glares irritated, not going to waste time going slow.
''Dragon of the Storms…'' Kojan begins to chant as he grips tightly on the hilt of his sword and his short katana too. ''Quake throughout the land with your Rage and Vengeance, and grant me the blade that obliterates my foes!'' An Electric-like aura wraps around him as he shouts. ''Burst Limit!''
The electricity erupts as an upward lightning pillar before it quickly fades and reveals Kojan in his Burst Limit form. ''Pierce through the Storm, Dragon Ryujin!'' He declares, twirling his blades before he vanishes with lightning speed, reappearing in the air on Deep Blue's left side. He swings his right sided sword only for the Arrancar to block the slash. Sparks fly out as Kojan pushes him forward, trying to overpower him.
Deep Blue scoffs as he repels and pushes Kojan back and swings again only to miss him but he twirls around quickly towards the back, shouting. ''GOLPE DE FRIO CORTANTE!'' He swings his blade, coated in sharp ice with dark aura energy upon Kojan, reappearing behind him; as he blocks it with Susanoo arms manifesting around him. The wave still pushes him backward but Kojan breathes, squeezing his left hand as electricity flies out.
''INAZUMA!'' Raising his left blade forward, Kojan shouts out as a powerful, fast lightning bolt shoots out from it. It pierces through his Susanoo's arms as well as the ice, dissolving it but the lightning bolt is frozen in ice before it could touch Deep Blue. The Susanoo arms were also frozen before vanishing but so was Kojan.
Deep Blue floats in the air, holding his ground as he suddenly swings and parries Kojan's swing from the left, then the right, then the legs and then the neck. Kojan is moving fast to land one hit to weaken him but none were hitting.
''RAIKIRI CALIBUR!'' Lifting his right blade to the side, Kojan focuses and coats his blade with electricity, becoming an energy lightning greatsword as he swings it at the enemy. Scoffing at his weak lightning, Deep Blue releases a burst of dark blue lightning from his free hand. The two attacks collide and explode as lightning. Kojan flies upward, gritting his teeth as he moves to the sides as he flies up and dodges a swing from Deep Blue that came out of nowhere.
''DRAGONAUN SHUNKAN!'' Kojan shouts, engulfing himself in an electrical aura before vanishing but so does Deep Blue; both moving faster than the naked eye. The speed of Sonido and Dragonaun Shunkan makes them almost invisible, parrying and striking the other's weapon leaving only behind sparks. Even Wizard can't keep up with them but he doesn't need to see if he's more than certain that Kojan is barely-
''FIRE RELEASE: GREAT FIRE ANNIHILATION!'' Hearing his voice, Wizard looks up as Kojan is up high, inhaling back before he breathes and unleashes a massive tidal wave of flames upon Deep Blue. However, the alien points and waves his sword at the flames, firing another wave that clashes against
''How cold is he?!'' Jonouchi and Honda both complain, never seeing fire ever frozen before. Anzu frowns out of concern while Mew Plum stares up at Kojan, looking really worried for him even though she doesn't know why.
Kojan has never fought an opponent so far that pushes his limits… but like the masked man; it's getting to him. This being is a literal alien; both physically and in power. And worst, Kojan's aura is dropping, his energy decreasing and beginning to lose stamina. His speed should easily overpower any foe but in this case; it's not enough. His power isn't enough; his strength isn't even an equal to his.
Deep Blue looks down at the Uchiha as he tells him coldly. ''You're as weak as him. You, humans, fail to understand how worthless your lives, your existences are.''
''SHUT UP!'' Annoyed by his crap, Kojan protests loudly as he grits his teeth. ''Yugi trained to become strong to be a better person while you beg for Aizen to give you power to beat him!''
Mew Ichigo staggers, still healing Yugi while Jonouchi is shocked by his response. Mew Plum is silent, never seeing him so emotional no less caring for Yugi. It confirms he does care.
''All he wanted to do is protect those he loved, even those he considers his enemies.'' Kojan resumes saying, looking down at his feet; not hating such childish nature but jealous his ideal still exists. Regardless, he lifts his face angrily before he proclaims furiously. ''All you care about is nothing but power and petty revenge. The only one who's weak is you!''
Mew Ichigo is shocked to hear Kojan said all nice things about Yugi. So… he does care for him.
Raising his right blade, Kojan begins to chant enraged. ''Rain down from the heavens and consume the world in divine judgment!'' He releases a Dragon Raijin that shoots upward into the sky, creating thunderclouds as golden sparks of electricity flying across them. Soon the clouds glow as Kojan shouts roaring. ''ZEUS' WRATH!''
Emerging through the dark cloud are multiple, large lightning created spears that shoot down towards Deep Blue like a bombardment. Everyone watches or barely can due to the brightness of the spears. However, the Arrancar raises his left index finger as swirls of black energy.
''CERO ABISMO.'' He utters out, firing a pitch black Cero that almost resembles the very shadows. Kojan widens his eyes, forming his Susanoo, going fully armored, as it crosses its arms. It tanks the intense, darkness blast at full force with Kojan gritting his teeth. He tries to hold his ground but his Susanoo cracks by the abyss pressure of the attack and gets vaporized, consuming Kojan too.
"Kojan-kun!'' Mew Plum shouts in horror. Deep Blue's attack ends but not before he's nearly slashed by one of the Dragon Ryujin blades across the neck if not for Deep Blue to block it with his energy sword without looking. This surprises the Uchiha, barely evading that blast with his lightning speed.
The Alien-Arrancar Hybrid turns his head to the other Dragon Knight before Kojan widens his eyes and ducks his head in the last second that the enemy suddenly vanishes in front of him and appears behind him, swinging his sword at his head. If not for his Sharingan eyes, he would be a goner.
''Futile.'' The Arrancar utters as he prepares to attack as Kojan quickly turns around until Greymon shouts. ''BIT FIRE!'' Deep Blue turns around just as he's shot by multiple, smaller fireballs from Greymon's mouth; hitting him over and over. Kojan dashes away in the last second, watching as the Alien withstands them due to his dense Spiritual Energy before he fires a wave at him, blasting him away.
''HURRICANE SHOOTING STRIKE!'' Deep Blue turns as he's nearly shot by a powerful air energy shot if he didn't dodge it in the last second. He looks down to see it was Wizard who quickly swipes his left hand over his belt buckle, showing that he's wearing the Hurricane Dragon ring.
''HURRICANE DRAGON!'' The Wizardriver announces as Wizard leaps up through a green magical circle, manifesting above him. ''BYU-BYU! BYU-BYU-BYU-BYU!'' Wind magic in the form of Wizardragon wraps around him before entering in him and the circle, transforming him into his dragon form. He flies up fast at Deep Blue, shooting multiple bullets from the WizarSwordGun but Deep Blue stands there, letting the bullets hit him and do nothing before he swings his sword, already in front of the rider… if not for Wizard to swipe a different ring from his right hand over his belt.
''VERY NICE! SPECIAL!'' The Wizardriver announces as swirls of wind wrap around him and he gains the Wizardragon wings, flapping them to release a powerful burst of wind magic. ''THE BEST!'' The wingbeats blast Deep Blue away but he stops him, looking at the rider with cold annoyance.
Wizard then uses the Copy Ring to summon a second version of his sword-gun weapon, flying at him as he fires from the right hand and gets close to swing with the left hand. However, Deep Blue just tanks the bullet shots as he swings his sword to clash against Wizard's sword. The rider twirls and swings his blade swift and expertly and yet Deep Blue parries each strike without staggering. He then swings a powerful, arc-slash wave that slams Wizard into the ground.
''Utterly futile. Humans cannot win'' He proclaims coldly by their efforts, mocking them with an unemotional gaze. Wizard and Kojan stand their ground while Greymon growls, trying to get up but grunts by his injuries.
Taichi looks up at the enemy and frowns, refusing to accept that as he speaks up. ''Yugi tries to fight for his friends, just like me for my friends!'' He squeezes his Digivice, thinking of his sister and his friends back where they are as he refuses to run away and let this guy do any more harm. ''I won't give up, no matter what!''
''Taichi…'' Greymon utters, feeling his partner's feelings radiating with him. The Digivice begins to glow an orange light from its outline ring with the Crest of Courage manifesting through the screen.
''Let's give it all we got, Greymon!'' Taichi declares determinedly, holding his arm forward. Greymon nods seriously, not going to give up either. Soon the Digivice shines brightly.
''GREYMON, SUPER EVOLUTION!'' Greymon declares as orange energy coats around it and begins to transform it. Now the Digimon has become a Cyborg version of Greymon which mechanized more than half of its body like its chest and its helmet-like head is metallic and machine-like. It has a mechanical, right arm claw with purple, partly torn-up butterfly wings. It also has bright blue eyes and spiky, length size red hair underneath its mechanical helmet as it roars. ''METALGREYMON!''
''HE'S BECOME AN ANDROID DINOSAUR?!'' Jonouchi and Honda both yell out, overwhelmed by the new transformation.
Deep Blue gazes unfazed as he vanishes and reappears from the left of the dinosaur, swinging his sword at him but MetalGreymon instantly responds by catching the swing with his metal claw, sparks flying out. The Arrancar frowns as the cyborg Digimon repels him back, sending him flying into the arm as it then aims its robotic claw at the enemy.
''TRIDENT ARM!'' MetalGreymon roars, launching that arm like a rocket and instantly stabs the alien into a pillar. Deep Blue growls, trying to break free until Kojan appears above him and manifests his Susanoo's arm with a Chakra blade, swinging and thrusting it through multiple floors down.
MetalGreymon retracts its claw right back to its arm just as Deep Blue shoots out from the ground, charging right at Kojan until he's blasted by waves of flames, blasting him out of the pillar. It is Wizard, changed into his Flame Dragon form. He then summons a portal and pulls out the Drago Timer, attaching it to his hand before twirling its clock timer.
''DRAGO TIME! SET UP!'' The Drago Timer announcers as Wizard leaps out of the pillar and runs right at the alien-Arrancar, declaring as he wields two WizarSwordGuns. ''Now it's Showtime!'' He comes charging as the timer ticks down a quarter in and keeps going
''WATER DRAGON!'' As Deep Blue flies at Wizard, a geyser of water erupts and shooting out of it is Water Dragon form clone, diving down with a Rider Kick that Deep Blue avoids. He reappears above them, pointing his left index finger at them until the same voice announces. ''HURRICANE DRAGON!'' Swirls of wind gather around the Arrancar, quickly confusing in a tornado as the Hurricane Dragon form is floating above it.
That Wizard aims his guns down from the eye of the storm and fires multiple shots down at him, blasting Deep Blue and crashing him into the ground as the storm dissolves. The Arrancar lands onto the ground until he feels the earth devouring him.
''LAND DRAGON!'' The Drago Timer announces as the ground raises and wraps around Deep Blue and shooting out in front of him is Land Dragon form, somersaulting and landing beside the other Wizards.
''FINAL TIME!'' The Drago Timer then declares as all Wizards cross their right-handed swords together before raising them up in the air.
''FINALE!'' Each Wizard shouts as their representative colors erupt from their swords as each WizarSwordGun chants. ''COME ON A SHOOTING, SHAKE HANDS!'' They take aim as their weapons all announce in unity. ''WATER-FLAME-LAND-HURRICANE! SHOOTING STRIKE!'' They swing and fire four sharp beams of energy waves; all of them coming towards Deep Blue.
However, the earth binding the alien-Arrancar turns into solid ice as he flies upward instantly. Wizard startles as his attack will-
Kojan dashes in as his right Sharingan eye turns into Mangekyou's form.
''YAHATA NO KAMI!'' Kojan yells out mentally as the 4 energy slashes from Wizard and his copies suddenly bend and redirect upward, splitting upward into energy waves that move like missiles and pierces through each limb of Deep Blue before Kojan squeezes his left hand, held up, and wraps the waves like constructed binds.
Deep Blue staggers, trying to break free with Sonido- He soon panics as he sees MetalGreymon's flying up above him as its chest begins to gleam a bright orange light through its metal chest.
''GIGA STORM!'' He roars as the port of its chest opens up and immediately fires a high-temperature energy wave blast. Deep Blue quickly tries to break free until Kojan's voice shouts. "RAGING DRAGON OF STORMS!''
He looks down to watch Kojan, holding up his main blade, as he shouts, swinging it towards him as lightning erupts from the blade. ''DRAGONAUN RAIJIN!'' The lightning becomes a long serpent, energy electrical dragon as it flies at full force towards the alien as both it and the Giga Storm connect both its sides along with the binds of Wizard's attacks and all of them together become a massive explosion.
Everyone braces themselves except Mew Ichigo, focusing on healing Yugi. The smoke clears up with Kojan smirking, thinking that after all of that; he is-
The group are taken back as the smoke clears and Deep Blue floats there, unfazed by their combined attacks.
''Like I said…'' Kojan widens his eyes as the smoke clears up and reveals Deep Blue, floating up there and taking minimum damage. He looks down at Kojan and Wizard as he proclaims. ''All your efforts are useless.'' As he touches his chest. ''My Hierro has Sir Dragonaun's DNA, allowing me to tank your attacks. And my ability emits a cold across my body, a cold of absolute zero whenever I trigger it. Once it does, any attack is frozen before it could ever touch me.''
This terrifies everyone to hear that, especially Kojan who growls furiously. ''Damn it, it makes sense now! Even from a start, Yugi nor any of us stood a chance to fight such an ability.''
Deep Blue raises his blade, looking down coldly. ''Now experience the coldness of your deaths.'' He prepares to swing down until MetalGreymon comes down at him from below, roaring as it swings its metal claw. ''METAL SLASH!'' Deep Blue doesn't look at him as he releases blue lightning across its body, zapping the cyborg dinosaur badly as it falls.
''Don't give up, MetalGreymon!'' Taichi shouts, cheering on his partner. MetalGreymon is surged with power as his wings flap and he stops himself in mid-air. He twirls around, facing the alien as he roars. ''GIGA DESTROYER!'' The hatch on its chest opens up, revealing and firing a pair of sharp mouth organic missiles right at him.
Once more not looking, Deep Blue moves his body to the sides a bit, aiming his left index finger at the missiles coming at him and shouts. ''CERO ABISMO!'' He fires an intense wave of darkness, consuming and destroying the missiles as it consumes MetalGreymon.
The moment was an instant before MetalGreymon emerges out and crashes hard onto the ground. Everyone is left in dread as Taichi runs towards his fallen partner, screaming out his name. ''METALGREYMON!''
The large dinosaur can only grunt before his body glows and shrinks back down, reverting back to Agumon but unable to fight.
Deep Blue, still not looking at the creature, just looks down at Kojan and Wizard as he proclaims coldly. ''Two remain.''
Masaya grunts, hating this. To think he could become so much stronger without his body. Were they really outclassed before even coming here?
Even Mew Plum and the others begin to doubt their odds with Jonouchi, looking at Mew Ichigo still healing Yugi but he's not even steering or waking up.
''Why won't Yugi wake up already!'' He yells out in demand, needing him more than ever. They all feel the same, even Ichigo who bites her lips at her own powerlessness.
''Yugi-kun…'' She utters out, frowning as she can't even scream out and beg for him to save them; he might not hear them but she'll pour her heart into it. Her hands begin to shine brightly, releasing her healing power onto Yugi stronger than before and praying this works.
Are they truly finished-
"NO PLEASE!" Yelling from her bed, the little cat girl purrs in panic on her bed as the reader just chuckles, adjusting his claws on the book. "Of course it's not over sweetie. You know that better than anyone."
The girl blushes red, dabbing her index fingers together and blushes of her overreaction.
He smiles, petting her head as he says. "Keep listening."
"I-I will!" She shouts, listening closely as she knows hope will not die; that the Dragon Knight always saves the day and he will save everyone, including his princess. He will.
Commercial Break:
Kojan and Wizard are the last two standing, gazing up at the evolved Resurrección Deep Blue and they're running out of steam too. Mew Ichigo watches them, biting her lips as they can't fight him alone like this.
''You still have a plan, right? I'm almost out of mana.'' Wizard Flame Dragon speaks up to Kojan of a plan who scoffs as he narrows his eyes towards him, not beaten yet. ''Of course I do. I'm not-'' Before he can finish his words; Kojan is grabbed by the head in that instant by Deep Blue before he thrusts him away, sent crashing right into a damaged pillar.
Wizard startles as he and his copies all charge at him. Deep Blue then vanishes through Sonido and suddenly slashes down Wizard and his copies, slamming each one away and they all fade away with the exception of the original. The alien is, however, surprised that Kojan blocks his swing with both his blades, also about to slash if not for his Sharingan eyes.
Wizard, reverted back to Flame Style, breathes through his rider mask as his copies are gone and his mana pool is even lower. He has enough for the Drago Timer to use its full power for a few moments… but he fears it's not enough. He stands his ground, wielding his sword at his side as Deep Blue looks down at him unfazed. He prepares to fight him until a burst of energy erupts from behind him. The alien narrows his head towards that direction and it's Kojan, glaring irritated as he bleeds from his head.
''Now you've pissed me off!'' The Uchiha yells our enraged, his Mangekyou Sharingan fully activated as he roars, manifesting his fully armored Susanoo. Deep Blue now fully turns his attention to him as the two charge with Kojan's Susanoo manifesting energy blades, swinging them at him as the Arrancar responds with his own sword swing, creating a clash of energies.
The others watch, even Taichi who lifts Agumon back on his feet as he groans of food.
''D-damn this guy…'' Jonouchi mutters, upset at how worthless they are to that Deep Blue. He even wants Kojan to win as the Uchiha's Susanoo tries swinging its swords at the Arrancar who parries each of their strong swings and then swings his energy sword at the front of the avatar, actually nearly cutting through it to cut Kojan but he blocks it with both his blades. His Susanoo grows two extra arms that bash the Arrancar backwards but it did little damage to him and worst those energy arms become frozen and shatter into pieces. Kojan scowls annoyed as he charges, swinging Raikiri-like energy waves from his blades.
''…'' Silent, Mew Ichigo soon stops healing. She's healed him as best as she can but he's not waking up. But… she knows he's not gone; she just does. However, they're all to die unless something is done, even without Yugi. And in a way; it's all her fault for letting herself get captured. Everyone's been fighting to save her and all she does is watch them then fight beside them like always.
She… Ichigo can't stand herself like this, useless. She looks at the unconscious Yugi and just smiles softly. She removes the Millennium Puzzle off her neck and places it back on him before giving him a kiss on his lips.
''… Thank you, for everything.'' She expresses her happiness of being with him. She stands up as she begins walking away towards the fight going on. Jonouchi notices it and questions her alarmed. ''Where are you going, Momomiya!''
Mew Ichigo stops on her tracks, bending down and picks up the Dragon Blade. She looks at it and tightens her grip on it, breathing how different its new form looks but easier to wield than the last one.
She's been feeling nothing more but a burden to everyone else fighting. She… she wants to help everyone; not wanting to beg for her Dragon Knight to save her always or another. No; she wants to be the one to inspire hope and that's what she intends to do.
''I healed Yugi-kun but he isn't coming around. All I can do is what he would do…'' Ichigo begins to say, knowing right now that she needs to be the one to protect them. ''Protect our friends Nya!'' She declares with a smile, transforming her Evolution form.
''No Ichigo-kun!'' Mew Plum panics as she tries to stop her but Mew Ichigo charges, much quicker than her. She growls as Masaya frowns, not surprised by her action. After all, that's like Ichigo to save anyone in trouble.
Kojan manifests multiple fireballs along with his Susanoo as Deep Blue releases a Cero Rayos that tears and consumes the flames with its lightning. Kojan's Mangekyou repels the darkness of the Cero Rayos, blasting around him but never hitting him. However, Kojan begins to feel weird, his eyes bleeding, as he loses too much energy already. This moment of hesitation is enough for Deep Blue to charge at him and thrusts his sword, penetrating through the Susanoo and nearly stabbing Kojan if the two avatar' arms slam and grip themselves onto him.
''How's-'' Kojan starts uttering out loud until his Susanoo's arms and its whole body is being turned into ice. He quickly dissolves his Susanoo, halfway through before he's consumed in the ice. Only its arms remain as ice before they shake and shatter apart, revealing Deep Blue unscratched. Kojan tries to charge with his blades coated in Raikiri only for the alien to release his own dark blue lightning, overpowering and paralyzing him as he's pushed back.
Raising his energy sword to his side, Deep Blue utters as he approaches coldly. ''You die first then.''
Kojan glares, watching as the alien prepares to swing to strike him down-
''RIBBON CHIDORI SHARP SPEAR!'' Shouting out loudly, Mew Ichigo leaps above them and thrusts the tip of the Dragon Blade at Deep Blue, shooting out a pink, ribbon-like electrical beam across the blade and nearly stabs through Deep Blue if he didn't vanish and nearly hits Kojan who uses Yahata no Kami to split the spear into multiple threads that swirl in reverse and wraps themselves past the cat girl to Deep Blue who appears behind her to stab her. He startles as Kojan quickly slams his right hand downward and the threads' ends thrust down like anchors, striking the ground and thus slams the Arrancar onto the ground too.
"You were damn too reckless, Momomiya?!'' Kojan yells at the startled cat girl, landing in front of him as he gasps in pain, his eyes bleeding even more. She frowns as she protests. ''I had to save you! I will not allow anyone else to get hurt Nya!''
Kojan eyes her, still clearly mad but he oddly smiles to her surprise.
''He's… lucky to have you.'' He openly admits to her shock. An explosion of energy erupts from behind them as they turn around and see Deep Blue, freed, begin to walk towards them.
''I told him I would kill you first so I must do so.'' He proclaims, furious towards her. Mew Ichigo frowns, standing her ground as she proclaims. ''Then I'll stop you and protect him the one I love Nya!'' She triggers Ribbon Thunder Armor, engulfing her in pink electricity outline as she leaps up right at him.
Deep Blue watches as the cat girl swings the Dragon Blade at him, really fast, but he dodges to the left as she swings to that direction but he moves back, evading it completely. Gripping on the hilt with both hands, Ichigo swings it more precisely and faster but the alien evades around it until she shouts as one of her swings nearly hits his chest if he didn't vanish with Sonido. ''RIBBON CHIDORI BLADE!''
The blade is wrapped in ribbon-like electricity as she swings around 360° degrees, releasing an electrical wave in a circle. This causes Deep Blue to reappear away from her, long enough for Ichigo's cat ears to pick up on his sound as she turns around, manifesting her Strawberry Bell as she shouts, already fully charged. ''RIBBON STRAWBERRY SURPRISE!''
She fires the largest heart-shaped energy blast from her bell weapon, instantly hitting Deep Blue… except he shows irritation as he shouts furiously. ''Weak!'' He uses his left arm and fires a Cero Rayos, pushing and actually repelling the blast. Mew Ichigo startles as her attack is torn through and she evades the lightning blast with her agility and reflex.
She somersaults away, panicking as Deep Blue appears on her side and swings his sword at her but she turns and blocks his swing with the Dragon Blade. She hisses as his strength who's overpowering her without trying as sparks fly between their weapons.
''Where was all that power you once used to defeat me?'' Deep Blue questions her with a firm yet angry voice. Mew Ichigo narrows her eyes away, saddened, recalling how the Mew Aqua Rod was destroyed by Mew Blackberry. She can't let that loss get to her again. She stands her ground and faces him, shouting out determinedly. ''I still have all that power! Because the power I beat you before was of Love!''
''Love?'' Deep Blue utters out, stunned at first before his expression becomes furious with darting eyes. ''That same love ruined my ambitions!'' He pushes the Mew Mew even further away to thrust his sword at her but the cat girl ducks to slide to the left, evading the downward swing. But the alien was enraged, just charging as he swung his sword again as the cat girl was forced to dodge his sword strikes; too scared to parry or block with Yugi's sword. He was relentless, still dashing in at her and swinging madly to land one hit. Even Kojan finds this disturbing as his swings are not precise or swift; they belong to a madman or one filled with anger.
''I will DESTROY THAT LOVE YOU CARE FOR!'' Deep Blue vows with a raging, hateful voice. He swings downward and Mew Ichigo easily dodges but the ground shakes and a burst of dark blue energy erupts out of the ground in the form of multiple geysers. Mew Ichigo tries dodging them with the best of her abilities but one of them manages to explode from behind her and she's hit across the back, blasting her forward.
''NNNYYAAAAA!'' Mew Ichigo screams in agony as she's sent into another geyser that explodes and sends her flying into the air. Everyone watches as Deep Blue suddenly manifests above her, swinging his great sword upon her but she forms her barrier which he bashes upon and smacks it onto the ground. He dives down towards her, thrusting his sword through the barrier but Mew Ichigo manages to drop it in the last second to and dashes away, needing to-
She widens her eyes as the alien is already in front of her, swinging his sword furiously at her as she can only block with the Dragon Blade but the impact sends her flying backwards and hitting across the ground like a skipping stone.
The others watch horrified as the cat girl tries to get up again, breathing heavily as she's badly bruised and hurt. Mew Ichigo breathes weakly, trying to grip on both the Dragon Blade and her Strawberry Bell. She can't give up, not when-
''USE MY POWER ALREADY!'' Ichigo widens her eyes, hearing the Inner Tiger roaring in her consciousness. ''If you don't, you will die here along with all of your friends! Do you really-''
''SHUT UP!'' The beast's screams are silenced by the cat girl's cries, shaking her head as she tries to put up a strong face. She can't forget what almost happened to her; how she lost it and even though no one got hurt, she could have killed anyone over there. She can't, not right now knowing that power is too much for her.
''I can't, I can't rely on a power that brings harm to those I love! I can't!'' She tells the demon in her, too distracted that she panics to see Deep Blue nearly slashing her if she didn't put up a barrier in the last second. The slash cuts through it but slows it down as she ducks and tries to swing the Dragon Blade, charged up with Ribbon Chidori only for the alien to grab her by the neck and begin strangling her.
Mew Ichigo gasps with a frightened expression across her face, struggling to breath as he's squeezing her tighter.
''This is for ruining my plans, for letting that fake persona have life, for KILLING ME!'' Deep Blue screams furiously, his grip tightening. Mew Ichigo shrieks in worse pain, losing the light of her eyes.
''ICHIGO!'' Masaya yells, not caring anymore as he rushes in, transforming into the Blue Knight badly wounded. He's not the only one as Kojan shoots forward, slashing his arm but not being able to decapitate it. However, it frees the cat girl as her eyes glow a vicious glow of the Inner Tiger and she yells, slashing him across the chest with the Dragon Blade. Blue Knight stops himself, taken back by that but relief too.
Sparks fly out across his chest as Mew Ichigo and Kojan coat their swords with lightning as they shout in union, swinging their blades. ''NOBODY CARES, YOU PSYCHO BASTARD!'' They proceed to slash the stun alien over and over before they use their free hands, coating them with their signature Jutsus and shouts. ''DRAGONAUN RAIKIRI! / RIBBON CHIDORI!'' They slam their attacks at full force across his chest, trying to penetrate through his Hierro.
However, Deep Blue snaps as he roars and his mere shout pushes them backwards. This staggers them as he then fires two dark blue Balas at the two. One blasts Kojan across the chest and tears through his armor and even damages his chest regardless. He screams in agony before he's sent crashing through 1 of the already damaged pillars. The other nearly hits Mew Ichigo the same way until she puts up her barrier with her summoned bell and blocks it, pushing her backwards. She hisses in agony, pouring her energy into it as her feet grind and skidding across the ground with her barrier still holding up.
Soon the attack ceases to exist as the cat girl breathes heavily, her legs and arms trembling as she can't go on any longer.
''Ichigo!'' Blue Knight shouts as he tries running to her aid until Deep Blue stabs his energy sword into the ground and it turns solid ice, freezing everyone onto the ground.
''Enough games!'' The Alien-Arrancar yells furiously, lifting up his right arm as he starts charging up his pitch black sphere. He aims it towards the cat girl, widening her eyes in horror as he grins evilly and proclaims. ''Now vanish, ONCE AND FOR ALL!''
Everyone panics, even Kojan who's trying to break free as Masaya does too. Mew Ichigo widens her eyes in horror, knowing this is it for her… but she can't give up. Even as she is right now; she can't- she won't give up! She uses all of her strength to raise her Strawberry Bell with both hands, still breathing roughly, as she forms her barrier. She'll bet it all and withstand this attack.
''Pathetic.'' Deep Blue simply utters, staring at her feeble attempt to survive and immediately shouts, firing his attack. ''BEGONE! CERO ABISMO!'' The sphere glows and expands, unleashing its endless energy blast upon the cat girl and her pink barrier. It hits and connects, consuming the heroine who feels her whole body being torn apart even though her barrier is protecting her but its pressure, its force; it's too much for her.
''NAAAAWWWW!'' Mew Ichigo screams in agony, her body glowing as she pours all of her energy into her barrier. It refuses to crack but it's obvious it won't for her long. The others watch horrified as they see both her Ribbon Thunder Armor and Evolution forms vanish as she drops to base Mew form, still gripping on her bell with one both hands but she's losing it. And worse, even her base form is beginning to glow as she's nearly about to revert back to base.
Wizard panics, struggling to slide back in the Draco Timer while Kojan grunts, trying to move from his spot.
The Inner Demon within Ichigo watches this play out and knows she will die unless she summons her power. She… she feels useless like back then.
''USE MY POWER ALREADY! Please, I can't…'' The Inner Tiger tries ordering her host to do what she's ordering her, even stumbling in her words before she begs with a softer, concerning voice. ''I can't lose you again!''
Mew Ichigo couldn't listen to her, the wave of endless darkness was too hard for her to hear or listen to anything. All she can hear or feel is her body, her sweat, her flesh, her bones and the endless nothing as her barrier begins to crack. She cries as no one will save her again and she can't do anything in Yugi's name. She gazes at the Dragon Blade, still in her hand as her Mew form begins to dissolve.
''I'm sorry I wasn't strong to protect you or the others…'' She begins to apologize for her weakness as her body is about to revert back to human form and her barrier dissolves. ''Yugi-kun.'' Soon the darkness consumes her instantly.
''Y…'' Stirring as he can hear a voice calling out to him, Yugi begins to stir weakly as he can feel his head resting on something or rather someone's lap. ''Yugi, are you awake, dearly?'' He begins to grunt, slowly opening his eyes as they gain their light and sees someone looking down at him.
His vision slowly restores to him as he stares at a lovely woman. She has long purple hair with brightly golden eyes. She wears a lavender colored, turtleneck, side boob crop top shirt with a pair of pants. She wears a star-shaped hair brooch on the right side of her front hair. Yugi widens his eyes, knowing her so well… in his dream: The dying woman that smiles towards her. It's her.
''K-Kaa-san…'' Yugi utters out softly, words unable to utter out from his mouth to be staring at her. He feels so happy as he's not even sure how to… he's not even sure how to start or express his joy to have her beside him. He… Then Yugi widens his eyes, realizing the only reason he's seeing his mother is because he's dead.
''AW! DID I-'' He starts to panic in horror, freaking out. He starts running back and forth across this empty space. He pants heavily, asking unease. ''Is this really heaven?''
Miyu blinks awkwardly before she startles, uttering out nervously just like him. ''Huh?! No! No-no! You are not dead!''
Yugi looks at her before he calms down, breathing deeply as he utters out with relief in his voice. ''PHEW. I thought for a moment-'' His words were silent when Miyu suddenly hugged him. She blushes happily, also relieved as she risked her life to save him.
''…'' Yugi is silent, feeling the warmth from her arms, comforting him not since he was a baby. He tries his best to not break down but regardless, tears drop across his face. He bites his lips, finding this wrong to do it when she-
''It's not bad to cry.'' He startles, looking up at his mother also crying out but out of joy. ''True chevaliers let go and break down to show what comes from the heart.''
The star-headed boy cries as he nods softly, moving his arms and wrapping them around her back; hugging her back. Miyu smiles warmly, overjoyed to finally hold him after so long.
This goes on as long as they need it before they move apart, looking at the other smiling.
''I just haven't seen you… not since…'' Yugi starts saying, frowning as he recalls that nightmare and Miyu nods. ''I know.''
He blushes, just happy to see her in person. First was his father and now… and it's when Yugi realizes what was going on.
''Are you here like Dad was? Are you also-'' He begins to ask her as Miyu interrupts by nodding softly and explaining herself. ''A piece of my soul was also placed in you along with your father but mines were placed when you're ready to take on the next step of wielding Yin-Yang Dragon's powers.''
Yugi stares at her, not following that last part. And yet… he has so much to ask, so much to do but time is not on their side as well as the others are doing. That's right, Deep Blue is still…
''I-I have so much to talk to you but Ichigo-kun and the others-'' Yugi begins saying, concerned for the others as Deep Blue will likely kill them all. He has to get back there and-
''Don't worry, dearly.'' He startles, staring at her mother as she can tell his worries for his friends but eases him. ''This place moves much faster here than in reality. We have a lot of time to talk, if you want.''
Yugi looks at her, thinking about it. If this is like the dimension that he was trained by Shadow Knight, then he can ask her a lot of stuff.
''… I do.'' Yugi expresses wanting to talk to her, especially… if this may be the only time he'll get the chance.
Miyu just smiles warmly, not needing to ask how he feels; just looking at his face, his eyes, to confirm how much he's become like her father, somewhat.
''You've grown SO much.'' She expresses happily, having been watching him in his journey and not only him but everyone through him. She sheds a tear as she says. ''You and Jenna have grown so amazingly. I wish I could tell her so much too.''
Yugi sweat drops heavily. That's a name he hasn't heard in a long time. In truth, Jenny's real name is Jenna but she really dislikes that name, A LOT.
''I remember Nee-san not liking that name.'' He says as Miyu sighs, also aware and upset she can't lecture her about loving that name. Still, she is happy about her attitude as she proclaims. ''Your sister has a similar pride to mine. I guess she inherited more from me than your father too, woof!''
Yugi just notices with a look of shock that his mother had a pair of dog ears and tail similar to Jenny. Miyu sweat drops, noticing his expression and she smiles calmly.
''Oh, right. I haven told you but dearly; I'm a Faunus!'' She proclaims joyfully with Yugi widening his eyes and yelps in shock with freak out white rounded eyes. ''EH?!''
This drops his guard, taken by the reveal. He notices her ears and tail and questions her since Blake only has cat ears. ''But you have both ears and a tail!'' He even recalls that she had human ears in his dream. ''And your human ears were replaced too?!''
Miyu smiles as she reveals. ''My clan was different among those in Remnant, having both features. And I learn how to hide my true appearance from others, similar to Ichigo.''
''But Jiji-chan said-'' Yugi then questions, recalling the story from his grandfather how his parents first met only for Miyu to giggle, revealing to him too. ''Your Grandfather was smart to not tell you two anything. It would be complicated. Like my maiden name is Pendreigh.''
The tricolor blinks as her last name sounds similar to Pendragon. How weird.
Miyu now begins to explain a bit about her past, even talking about how she met his father. She closes her eyes, recalling the first time they met.
''Takao…'' She starts uttering out softly, opening her eyes brightly… before she snaps and barks furiously at how they met when she was bathing in a lake, nude and he fell from the sky and landed on top of her and groped her, especially her damn breasts. ''THAT BAKA!'' Swinging her fist in the air, mimicking what she did to him.
Yugi turns pale, very sure that Jenny got their mother's fury.
Miyu calms down, breathing to relax her nerves as she says firmly. ''At first. He was an idiot, still an idiot…'' Her tune changes into a warm smile. ''But his charm, his selflessness, his passion got to me.''
He blushes, happy to know that as he says. ''Jiji-chan said you were kinder than Dad.''
''Compassionate.'' She corrects her son, smiling as he knows that word better than anyone. ''A knight, a real hero, just needs to be more compassionate than cruel. Without a heart, without love; what are you?''
''…'' Yugi stares at her, looking down as he thinks about those who lack that, especially Light but most of all Sir Dragonaun.
''That's why you have a heart, compassionate but also your father's passion, his fiery soul to help anyone.'' Miyu tells him kindly and proudly of his actions because against evil, one must never lose themselves to the darkness. ''And that's why I'm proud you choose to protect those close to you; risking everything to keep them safe and happy and never taking the easy path of dealing with your enemies.''
Yugi smiles a bit… though he looks down, wondering about that. Sometimes, being compassionate wasn't enough for those against Deep Blue or Kojan. Can he… can he remain true to his word?
Miyu can feel his doubt through his aura as she smiles.
''… Yugi, dearly…'' Yugi looks at him, watching as she places her hand on his shoulder and asks him a simple question. ''What do you want to gain tomorrow?''
He looks at her puzzled. Honestly, he just wants a burger which causes Miyu to sweat. She sighs as she clarifies herself better. ''And I don't mean by tomorrow-tomorrow like food but the future not yet seen.''
Yugi startles heavily, now getting it and that only depresses him. He still remembers Sailor Pluto's warning about his future that he would die and even though it didn't scare him back then… he… he's beginning to become scared of that day.
Miyu frowns, able to feel her son's aura and asks him. ''Are you afraid you won't have a future from what Pluto said?''
''… Yes.'' He responds, not surprised she knows that. Miyu sighs as she looks up, recalling her final moments of life before she died.
''… The day I died; I was afraid. I was heartbroken, losing everything I had and about to be separated from my children…'' She begins expressing her sadness of dying, unable to live her life the way she wanted it. She looks back in front of her son, staring at her and Miyu can't help but smile warmly, recalling the cries of her baby boy when she was holding closely to her chest that day. ''But seeing you, seeing you crying in my arms; I lost all sense of fear of death because I knew what I wanted. I wanted a future that my children would live and smile joyfully.''
''A future…'' Yugi utters out as Miyu nods, smiling as she proclaims passionately. ''Yes. The future is where hope exists; hope that will cut through the despair you will face in the past and present. Believe in the future you want; believe in what you want. With no regret, no sadness. Just accepting what you did was true to who you are.''
Yugi is left silent, blushing red as her words touch his heart. He smiles that maybe… maybe she's right about that.
The two would talk a little more but not enough as Miyu's body begins to glow, becoming particles of bright light.
''Mom, you're-'' He starts uttering an alarm but Miyu sighs, figuring as much from what Takao told her. ''My time is up…''
She looks at him and says happily. ''But I have no regrets now. Because I got to pass down my beliefs, my love and my hopes onto you.''
Her body begins fading away; her time is almost up as she leans closer to Yugi.
''Tell your sister how proud I am of her. I know she will make my clan proud. No, she'll make her family happy! And that mommy loves her deeply.'' Miyu asks him to pass on her feelings for her daughter. Yugi eyes her, sobbing as he nods; vowing to do so.
''And Yugi…'' He looks at his mother as she smiles even though her legs are already fading away but she doesn't care. ''Death comes to all of us and it's unfair but you can delay the end. To change your end, your fate.''
She giggles, pleading to him. ''Also, promise me so you can be together with Ichigo-kun. She's a beautiful girl and I wish I could have met her.''
He blushes bright red, also wishing Ichigo got to meet her… and the idea to be together with her. Does he… no, he really does.
''And remember.'' Miyu then begins to tell him, her body fading away more and more but departs with her last words. ''Compassion is true strength. And love surpasses all.'' She leans closely to him and with all of her strength, she embraces him with a final hug and her love for him. ''I love you, my Yugi. My precious boy…''
Yugi breaks down with raw emotions, not sure how to feel as he cries down.
''I love you…'' Miyu's final words echo across this empty world as she completely fades into stardust, leaving the world.
Yugi continues crying as his arms and legs tremble. He struggles to breath, trying to calm down while also rubbing his watery eyes off. He sniffs, never feeling this emotion in a long time; never wanting something so badly like this. It hurts… but… at least… he got to see her, speak to her, admire her.
''I love you too, Mom.'' He utters out softly, touching his chest as he will never forget her words. ''I promise… I won't fear the end because I will fight for the future we want.''
His chest glows in response to those words. Suddenly, Yugi is surprised to find himself in front of the cage prison of Yin-Yang Dragon. Suddenly, the bars and seal around the prison shakes violently and shatters into pieces. Yugi startles as emerging out of the broken cage is Yin-Yang Dragon, both of them confused by what just happened.
''Our seal…'' Yang Dragon utters astonished with Yin Dragon nodding with a firm tone. ''It's broken.''
They're stunned that it has finally come, staring their eyes towards Yugi who smiles.
''You guys are free now, somewhat.'' He proclaims, not sure how they can live his very being but he's happy for them. Yang Dragon smiles as Yin Dragon scoffs, correcting him. ''More like we can support you better now.''
The good half then realizes something, questioning him. ''Brother, Yugi-san may have-''
''I agree, he just might.'' The dark half also agrees with him. Yugi blinks, wondering what they're-
''Partner!'' Yugi startles, turning to see Atem behind him, relieved he's okay as he tells him. ''Wake up already, everyone is-''
The tricolor head nods, knowing everyone is worried for him and he intends to get back.
''Thank you! I'm going!'' He proclaims, going to head out now and stop Deep Blue.
''Yugi, wait!'' Yugi blinks, turning to the two-headed dragon as Yin Dragon asks him. ''You wish to beat Deep Blue for good, right?''
Yugi looks at them, confused as if that's even a question. He nods as Yang Dragon smiles, telling him. ''Then you can with our true power.''
This surprises him. What kind of true power are they referring to?
''However, there's a price and well…'' Yin Dragon then begins to warn him of the double-edge sword of this new power but Yugi insists on telling him. ''Tell me and quickly.''
Yin-Yang Dragon heads look at the other before they nod and face Yugi, explaining it. He listens and his eyes widen. So that's what she meant back then. Is that power… going to end up-
''Yugi, that's-'' Atem tries to warn his partner to not take the gamble but Yugi just smiles, recalling her mom's advice. ''It's fine.'' He turns to face him, smiling confidently. ''I don't intend to die like this! Not one bit!''
Atem looks at him, believing him. He sighs, smiling as he's certain about it. He nods as Yugi smirks and turns around, going to face the world with his all, for that future.
''Let's go, my partners!'' Yugi declares as the Yin-Yang Dragon roars powerfully, towering behind him and Atem.
Ichigo's barrier finally cracks open as does her transformation. Ichigo has accepted her death until a hand grabs onto her right hand. She startles, opening her eyes to turn around as a white feather passes her view and it was him.
Deep Blue watches as this worthless fight has finally-
Suddenly, his Cero Abismo is slashed in half to his surprise. ''What?'' The darkness splits in half, blasting away in two sides. Everyone else watches with Anzu noticing that Yugi's body is missing. She soon realizes what this means, smiling as she turns forward.
As the darkness dissolves, Deep Blue's eyes widen to see Ichigo, safe, and Yugi, holding her closely as their hands wield the Dragon Blade they swing to repel his attack. He trembles, not possible that he's still alive!
Even Wizard is shocked, nearly about to use the Drago Timer to save Ichigo with that form but now he doesn't have to. Riolu blushes, wagging his tail at how amazing Yugi is sometimes.
''Y-Yugi-kun…'' Uttering out his name weakly, Ichigo turns to face him as she nearly falls backwards but Yugi's dragon tail stops her, holding her close to him.
''Heh. Sorry for making you worry again for me…'' He begins to apologize as he faces her with a smile. ''Ichigo-kun.''
She looks at him, hoping she's not dreaming as she begins crying.
''You're okay?'' He asks her with concern but she nods softly. ''Better, a lot better Nya.'' As she drops to her knees, breathing drained but relief. She looks up at him and smiles back, telling him. ''… Win, Yugi-kun.''
Yugi smirks, planning to. Masaya watches and smiles, relieved that they're okay.
''… Why…'' Yugi looks towards the Alien-Arrancar hybrid, already losing himself again. Again… again and again. He's killed him once long ago and again; he defines his fate and refuses to die! He can't take it.
''WHY?!'' Losing his composure entirely, Deep Blue screams like a madman as he demands furiously. ''WHY CAN YOU NOT REMAIN DEAD, SIR DRAGONAUN!''
''Sorry to disappoint you but-'' Yugi begins to proclaim, about to show him the power he's gained… until a howl is heard across all of Hueco Mundo. Then a red pillar of Spiritual Energy is seen across the horizon. This pauses Yugi's words as he can feel this aura from this monstrous energy and it shocks him to his core.
''That aura?!'' He tells himself, no doubt recognizing it as Kurosaki's. He frowns as he can't go and save him right now. One choice then.
The Dragon Knight turns towards Wizard and asks him. ''Haruto-kun, go to that direction, now!'' This surprises the rider as Yugi tells him, able to feel he has plenty of energy left. ''You still have plenty of mana for a big thing and you'll need it over there!''
''… Are you sure?'' Wizard questions him, worried that their other comrades are over there near that pillar. Probably, most likely.
Yugi just smiles, nodding. Wizard looks at him and snickers, nodding back as he says. ''Just checking.'' He runs to the Machinewinger and steps on the motor, riding off at full speed towards the red pillars.
The others are shocked by that, especially Mew Plum who growls at Yugi's decision to-
''I-idiot!'' Yugi turns to the side to see Kojan shooting out of the pillar's wall finally, grunting madly at his decision. ''You can't expect to win with just you and me! We can't win like-''
''… Of course I'll win, Kojan-kun.'' Smiling confidently to the Uchiha's surprise, Yugi proclaims strongly on this vow and his own vow to him. ''I promised to fight you and I intend to keep true to that.''
Kojan is silent, staring at him with disbelief. Is he really serious? He's thinking more about their fight than this one. Is he-
''Naïve, pathetic trash!'' Frowning, Yugi turns back to face the enraged Deep Blue, pulling out his energy greatsword and points it at him. ''You will keep none of your promises, you never had!''
All Deep Blue can see when he sees Yugi is him; someone identical to him and Atem but wearing a similar armor to Sir Dragonaun.; his firm red dragon eyes gazing towards the alien with such petty and the same eyes Yugi is giving him.
''And I will see to it that you die along with everyone that woman cares of, including your other comrades and everyone in that damn planet!'' Deep Blue vows, not caring about Aizen or anything else; grinning viciously as he screams out, releasing all of his power as a pillar of coldness. ''That will be her punishment, their deaths! ABSOLUTE ABYSS! TRUE DESPAIR!''
The others tremble and shiver in the intense cold. Kojan glares madly, not believing he still has all this power. How the hell can they even win?
Quiet, Yugi glares at him, irritated yet calm as Yin Dragon hisses, speaking mentally in his mind. "Time to put this bastard in his place.''
Yang Dragon cannot help but agree as he asks their partner. ''Are you ready, Yugi-san?''
''…'' Yugi is still silent, not overthinking but clearly his thoughts. If he wants this power; he needs one thing to change about him and through his conversation with his mother… he knows what it is.
''I want to protect the future of everyone around me. I want them to have the happy endings they deserve.'' Closing his eyes to see the image of his mother, of his father, of his grandpa and Jenny, of his friends and loved ones… and of Ichigo; Yugi begins to tell himself what he wants deeply in his heart. ''And I also want…'' As he imagines himself and Ichigo, staring at the other with a wedding church to their sides. Deep down, he does love her and he won't hide on the chance of wanting to be with her. ''TO MARRY ICHIGO-KUN!''
Opening his eyes with more determination than before, Yugi begins to vow mentally as he moves his left hand over his chest where his heart is. ''I won't fear the unknown! I will change my fate and everyone's!''
He grabs onto his chest and proclaims as a chant. ''Shatter God's Laws and claim 1 of my lives for the Power of Creation and Destruction!'' In response to that chant, black and white sparks form around his heart.
Yugi gasps in agony, unknown to the others as his heart is being squeezed by the energy sparks that take on the shape of black and white chains. The pain is overwhelming, actually causing blood to drip from his mouth and eyes before the energy chains vanished. He gasps before he lets out a loud roar, crossing his arms forward as his right eye glows redder. ''LEGENDARY LIMIT!''
His body is suddenly swirling in intense, blazing energy that consumes him instantly as the Millennium Puzzle glows violently, responding to this power. Atem is shocked as he and Yugi are swallowed in a massive pillar emerging out of the Dragon Knight's body.
Deep Blue is shocked as the energy is enormous, ripping through the night sky and trembling everything around them. The others watch as the ice dissolves, melted as they're all freed. Ichigo watches, silent as this power is so massive and intense.
Within this storm of unbelievable power, Yugi's body begins to glow and gains armor across his body as the Millennium Puzzle merges with the armor as he lets out a vicious roar.
Steam swirls like a typhoon around where Yugi stood and with a single swing to the side; it reveals something unbelievable.
What stands there is Yugi, or who they assume is Yugi, wearing a dragon-like armor across his whole body as the armor coats across his long coat, becoming part of the armor. The left side of the armor is pure black while the right side is pure white; each having dragon headed shoulders, a pair of two wings on each side with red inner portions, a pair of dragon tails on each side and the Eye of Wdjat across the chest of the armor. The armor has crimson red orbs across the armor (from the arms, claws, legs, feet and chest) as well as the dragon head shoulders, dragon claw feet and hands and Yugi's head is covered in an armor helmet mask resembling a dragon's face and crimson red eyes and a crown-like horn top.
Breathing through the covered mask-like helmet and spreading and bending his arms in a mighty pose as his new wings spread widely, the armored figure roars in Yugi's voice but sounding deeper and powerful. ''BALANCE BREAKER: YIN-YANG DRAGON!'' As a burst of black and white energy erupts out of him to opposing sides in the form of black and white feathers.
Everyone is speechless with Kojan horrified, not just by the form but the name he uttered. ''B-Balance… Breaker?!'' Riolu widens his eyes, astounded by the form and the aura burning across his partner's body. It's otherworldly.
''Y-Yugi... kun?'' Ichigo utters, actually scared that he's not-
''Don't worry, Ichigo-kun.'' Blinking as she couldn't even complete her thoughts, Ichigo watches as the figure turns his head halfway and speaks like Yugi would. ''It's still me. And it won't take me-''
In that second, Deep Blue freaks out and uses Sonido to appear in front of him and swings his sword upon him…

However, Deep Blue widens his eyes in horror that Yugi's sheer claw catches and blocks his full powered swing like that without looking at him. Now he faces the Arrancar as he finishes his sentence. ''It won't take me more than 3 minutes to beat him.'' Letting out a hiss, he erupts in a destructive, powerful roar. ''RRRAAAWWWRRRRR!''
His mere roar is ear scratching if not would cost anyone to go deaf… if not for Yugi to control this roar to only Deep Blue as it also blasts him away. He gasps in agony, eyes bleeding and even his ears.
''W-what the-'' He tries to utter what that-
Deep Blue is immediately silent as he's instantly punched across the face by Yugi, growling as he proceeds to deliver another punch and then begins swinging multiple punches with insane speed that his arms were blurs. Each strike beats down on the stunned alien before he knows it, he's wrapped around by his tails as they throw him downward like a missile and hits the sand as a blast of sand is then shown.
The others barely saw him move, even Kojan with his Sharingan eyes couldn't keep up with such movement.
''GOLPE DE FRIO CORTANTE!'' Shooting upward from the sand, Deep Blue swings his dark ice energy wave at Yugi who stands there and hits him directly. The alien glares as that attack should freeze-
He instantly widens his eyes as the armored Dragon Knight still floats in the air, unaffected by the ice as the heat of his armor melts the ice with ease while steam of heat leaks across his body.
Raising his right arm to the side as he grips on his Dragon Blade, Yugi vanishes as does Deep Blue. The two dash at the other with insane speed, clashing against the other across the whole battlefield. Kojan panics, trying to look around for them but couldn't.
The two are less than blurs, sparks of energy that clash around the sky, parrying and striking the other. However, unlike back then, Yugi can see and move as he wanted; easily moving around Deep Blue vicious swings as if he was moving slowly or time was so much slower. Deep Blue tries to swing faster only for the Dragon Knight to suddenly parry and reflect the swing with such precision it throws him backwards and spinning.
Growling even more madly, Deep Blue stops himself and turns around, firing a destructive Bala at him. However, Yugi's right claw catches the Bala, squeezing it before shredding through it like it was carbon. This horrifies the alien as Yugi swings his Dragon Blade slowly to the front and in that single second, he appears in front of him and slashes him across the chest.
Blood erupts out of his chest, Deep Blue is paralyzed as he receives an actual wound.
''He caused him to bleed!'' Masaya utters, just as speechless by such a movement. Taichi can't help but smile as that was even faster than WarGreymon. Mew Plum isn't even sure what she's looking at anymore but at least… he's safe.
Jonouchi just smirks as does Honda with Anzu sighing before smiling that Yugi is trying to act way too cool but she likes it. Ichigo just smiles, still feeling his warmth even in that armor. It's like… it's almost like the armor is his Yin-Yang Dragon.
''D-DAMN-'' Uttering enraged, Deep Blue swings his great sword but hits the air. He widens his eyes, narrowing his eyes to see Yugi flying next to him, his arms crossed. Next thing he knew, Deep Blue is gut kicked by Yugi suddenly right next to him followed by his twin-tail swinging and slapping him with such force that it launches him upward into the air.
''Yin-Yang…'' Yugi begins to utter, clenching his blade as purple flames erupt from them along with black and white outline flames. He soon swings his blade upward and roars. ''DRAGONAUN TENGOKU!'' The flames erupt and shoot out, revealing to be the purple fiery energy dragon except it's now a two-headed dragon that resembles Yin-Yang Dragon. Their heads roar as they fly at top speed and consume him if not for Deep Blue to fire a Cero Abismo to defend himself.
The two attacks collide, even more viciously than before, but unlike before; the stronger Dragon Tengoku easily penetrates through the darkness and nearly consumes Deep Blue if he didn't dodge with Sonido a second ago. The energy dragon fades away as Deep Blue reappears away from him and growls madly. No, he can't be losing to such a human child! NOT AGAIN.
Out of frustration, he fires a Cero Rayos at the group but Yugi instantly appears in front of it as the wings on his right side wrap themselves forward.
''DRAGONAUN HOLY REFLECTION!'' He roars as the wings glow and expand this aura, becoming a large dragon wing-like barrier of pure light, repelling and resisting the lightning-based Cero with ease. This astonishes everyone with Taichi uttering amazement. ''A-awesome!''
Kojan is utterly silent and speechless, trembling by this form's power.
''Balance… Breaker…?'' He questions in his thoughts, recalling the legend of this form from the purple, suit wearing dragon. ''Dragonic told me the Dragon Sword and Yin-Yang Dragon were said to be the first Sacred Gears created and none but Sir Dragonaun was able to bring out their full potential, the power that can reshape the world.''
The Uchiha narrows his eyes, watching as Yugi blasts through his vanishing shield at Deep Blue, instantly slamming him across a pillar and then kicks him with such force that Deep Blue soars into the night sky but stops himself. He yells madly, dashing downward as he ends up clashing at Yugi who's already flying right at him.
''So how can Yugi… how is he capable of such a feat?!'' Kojan then questions, not believing this is possible. And yet; he feels a sense of… relief that such a form is possible and it's Yugi pulling it off.
Deep Blue desperately tries to slash him or anything but Yugi easily repels his strikes before he smacks him with both his dragon tails, slashing him in an x-shaped as Yugi foot kicks him across the stomach and sends him crashing into the ground.
''Under 4 minutes and counting!'' Yang Dragon warns Yugi as they need to settle the fight now. Not needing to be told twice, Yugi nods as his eyes glow. The mouthpiece of the helmet's armor cracks open and reveals a pair of chained dragon jaws, roaring powerfully like an earthquake.
''GOOD ENOUGH!'' Yugi's voice roars out from his dragon fang mouth as he dashes at insane top speed that he's already headbutted right across Deep Blue's head with such force it sends the Arrancar crashing through a pillar.
The two clash blades even faster or rather Deep Blue is struggling to keep up with Yugi anymore as he swings his blade once and cuts through the alien's energy great sword and tears it apart before he slams his left claw across his chest and sends him flying backwards with such impact that when he stops himself; a dent is shown across Deep Blue's bare chest.
The alien breathes heavily, looking up terrified as Yugi looks back, glaring as his dragon mouth hisses of fiery breath, blasting a wave of crimson flames upon the alien who fires multiple ice frozen Balas and they all melt upon impact. He's forced to dodge it but the flames consume his left arm, scourging it badly.
Deep Blue breathes heavily, his arm badly burned. He can barely feel it. Gritting his teeth, the alien loses it as he squeezes his right hand so tightly that it bleeds of icy, dark blue blood.
''DIE! JUST DIE ALREADY!'' He yells furiously, taking aim with that hand as sparks of dark blue energy across his palm, charging up a sphere of energy.
''I- No, Ichigo-kun, myself and everyone else…'' Yugi protests loudly, hissing as swirls of red aura erupt across his armor and roar. ''WILL COME BACK HOME AND PROTECT EVERYONE!'' The dragon head shoulders open up its mouths, revealing cannons. ''Creation-Destruction Busters!'' They start charging up swirls of energy.
Deep Blue hisses deeply as he yells, fully charging up his final attack. ''VANISH INTO THE ABYSS! GRAN REY CERO ABISMO!'' The dark sphere shrinks down before it grows and expands as a massive tidal wave of endless darkness, covering nearly the whole zone towards Yugi.
The dragon cannon shoulders fully charge up as the red orbs of energy across the dragon glows and Yugi along with Yin-Yang Dragon roar passionately. ''DRAGONAUN BURST CANNONS!'' The spheres shine and immediately release as twin, wide spread, almost nuclear red, black-white outline particle energy blasts that eclipse and instantly tears and consumes the darkness of the stronger Cero Abismo along with Deep Blue. Defenseless against this unknown attack; he screams in agony, trying to repel it but the attack is too much, tearing through all of his defenses.
He can't withstand this power as he vanishes with Sonido, reappearing above the blast as his body is badly burned if not being torn apart of such a degree that his reptile scales are being melted away. He breathes loudly, staring up at the darkened sky reverts back to normal by the twin particle beams penetrating through the darkness and fading away and flying out of this dimension.
''This is not-'' Deep Blue utters out mentally, not believing his attack could fail no less overwhelmed by-
''I told you, didn't I?'' He widens his eyes as he looks up and sees Yugi from a distance towards him, his mouthpiece closed tight. ''That's why someone like you doesn't understand anything about why we seek to surpass pain and suffering. And that abyss you speak of…'' As he holds forward his left claw and clenches it tightly. ''I will destroy it and show you the world you've blocked out from!''
Immediately, that same claw's orb begins to burn off energy as the claw is coated in a dark aura, glowing like an eclipse.
''This claw of mine burns of destruction! Its passionate roar tells me to grasp victory!'' Yugi begins to chant as the left claw emits such intense dark waves from it. Deep Blue glares, not going to allow such a human to beat him again.
''DRAGONAUN…'' Yugi begins to roar as he vanishes and instantly finds himself grabbing and thrusting his claw upon Deep Blue's shocking expressed face, squeezing him tightly as the energy erupts as dark special yet fiery energy that explodes on impact. ''VOID CLAW!'' The explosion suddenly implodes instantly as Yugi throws-slams Deep Blue right into the ground, so very far away from anyone before crashing.

Deep Blue struggles to breathe; dark energy leaking out across his body, mainly his face as he can't move before his form reverts back to base. The others are speechless as Kojan can't believe it.
''Right before 3 minutes left, not bad!'' Yin Dragon praises Yugi's work in finishing the fight. He doesn't answer as he turns to the others down below. He looks at his armored, gauntlet claw, clenching it as if it was his real hand and flesh. But more importantly; he has used up his first of 9 lives to activate this form. This power, so mighty, so overwhelming; that if used irresponsible will destroy his body, mind and soul. That's the price of giving up 1/9th of his life; to prevent his still human body from being destroyed in an instant.
Kojan stares at the direction Yugi tossed the enemy towards and he can still feel a faint of his energy.
''H-He spared him.'' He begins to utter in disbelief that after everything; he still spared him.
''I have no reason to kill him. All I feel for him is petty.'' In that moment, Yugi suddenly says as he appears behind Kojan, paralyzing him by how he couldn't react to his movement or notice when he appeared behind him.
''That and killing him would distrust the other Arrancars that we're not the enemy.'' Yugi then explains his other reasons for not killing Deep Blue; not wanting his actions to be considered villainous. Kojan sweats by just how impossible he's become in that form. It's like he's not even human.
Yugi then asks Kojan calmly. ''Kojan-kun, take the others where I'm going and do it quickly.'' As he turns once and suddenly he declares, carrying Ichigo in a bridal style. ''Let's go, Ichigo-kun.''
Ichigo startles heavily, not even noticing when he picks her up. Then, a surge of white energy erupts from his right arm and coats Ichigo. She soon widens her eyes, fully healed in an instant. This shocks her, looking at her hands as she feels herself almost at full strength too. No doubt she can transform again.
''Everyone is in trouble and they need us.'' Yugi tells her, facing the direction where he can feel everyone's auras and how badly they need help. Ichigo looks at the armored knight and just smiles softly, nodding ''Right Nya!''
Yugi oddly snickers before he takes a step and they vanish like the wind, causing Jonouchi and Honda to drop their jaws. ''… THAT WAS SO COOL!'' Both yell out in dismay with Taichi and Agumon both shouting in amazement too. ''REALLY-REALLY COOL!''
''Yugi…'' Anzu mutters, smiling as he never ceases to pull a miracle. Though, how did he gain such a form?
''…'' Masaya is the most silent but he smiles. Now… Ichigo has a sword that will protect her the way she wants it.
Kojan gazes at the horizon that they vanish off to; scowling of the power he used. How? How could he unlock a power that rivals even the Gods. How? He… Dragonic, he told him such a power is meant for someone who could become his ideal Dragon Knight. And yet, Yugi… how could he…
''We should go and follow him.'' The Uchiha snaps out from his train of thought, turning to look at Mew Plum who said that and begins to plead to him, still wanting to be there for her little brother. ''Kojan-kun, please.''
''… Fine.'' Kojan, not hesitating, agrees to her wishes. He manifests his Susanoo in its skeleton form with what little energy he has left to carry everyone with its multiple arms and then he dashes off, heading to that source of chaotic aura. No doubt, another fight and… something else.
Shadow Knight feels something as Urahara and the others are in a situation with Aizen's barrier blocking the way out of Las Noches. He cackles a bit, actually happy. ''So you've done it, Yugi. I knew… you could do it.'' He pauses, having an image of a different outcome with the dead body of Haruto Soma. ''I knew… you could change fate.''
Deep Blue has finally been defeated but with a price. Will Yugi be careful to avoid such power? Can he truly protect his loved ones?
"YES HE CAN!" The little girl shouts from her bed, posing heroically as the reader snickers to see her reaction. "You overreact way too fast."
She giggles, sitting on her bed to listen to the next part of the story, so happy that he did it again, that the Dragon Knight saves the day!

Next Time…
The others are struggling badly against the Vasto Lorde Ichigo with Super Shadow actually having problems to fully commit and end him or save their comrade, likely still in there. Things become worse until Haruto/Wizard arrives to stop this madness. Will the Magician of Hope be able to stop this monster? And will they be able to handle Ulquiorra afterwards?

Author's Note: Well… let me begin from the start.
So even Burst Limit Kojan (who bested a slightly weaker Team Dragon Knight in Volume 5 without Burst Limit for 90% of those fights), Haruto/Wizard with Drago Timer and Taichi with MetalGreymon, an Ultimate Level Digimon; couldn't do a damn thing against an Arrancar level Deep Blue with Dragon Knight DNA and a Segunda Etapa with an Hax ability that makes him nearly if not invincible! Even Mew Ichigo- No, not even Ichigo, right now could win. What about if she gave in to the Inner Tiger's power? Even then, I doubt it. She lacks any control in that form plus unable to bring out its full potential and Deep Blue is at full control of his. She wouldn't win.
Yugi's mom for DKR (BECAUSE when I started DKR using my knowledge of the Dubbed version like nearly everyone else; I thought Yugi didn't have a mother but he does) finally appear and it's nice to show the kind of person Miyu was. She shares a lot with Yugi about being kind and compassionate but has her outburst and overconfidence similar to Jenny. Not to mention she is a dog girl no less a Faunus. SO… UM… I will talk more about this eventually, some in Volume 7 and more in Volume 8 and 9. And of course the last thing Yugi needed to learn because if there's anything I learn: real parents will always love their children no matter what.
So you may be thinking giving Yugi another power-up is a bad thing… in this case, it was necessary. And to give the importance of power why Yin-Yang Dragon and the Dragon Sword/Blade is that special; together, they trigger what is known in DxD Highschool as Balance Breaker. DOES THAT MEAN- Yes… sort of? I'll cover this one day so let's talk about it. Balance Breaker is an ability- No, it's a transformation of a Sacred Gear which are items/weapons forged by God and the Balance Breaker is an error/flaw of the system that pushes the limits of the Sacred Gear which is considered a miracle.
I guess I should answer "Who's God?" in DKR if clearly it won't be the same in DxD. WELL… I can't mention it yet but there's not 1 god, there's more but overall; there are 2 creators of this universe and its parallel universes. Good?
So what is the Dragon Sword and Yin-Yang Dragon? Well they are one of the first things that these Gods created; a sword of possibilities and the ultimate dragon of balance. They can be considered "Above Sacred Gears"; things that shouldn't have been made. Then for what purpose? Hmm, to define fate or to challenge an opposing force? HMM… And Yin-Yang Dragon was created to uphold balance. HMM.
Anyway, Yugi's Balance Breaker is "complete" but under 2 conditions; it requires the Dragon Sword, Yin-Yang Dragon… and the Millennium Puzzle? And the other is due to its tremendous power; it costs a portion of Yugi's life. How much? 1/9th. Why 1/9th? It could be based on the 9-headed dragon? Hmm… I wonder.
And this uber Balance Breaker makes an Alien God / "Dragon Killer" Segunda Etapa Resurrección Arrancar look like a joke, boding the even stronger Deep Blue and wiping the floor with its Hax powers like they were nothing. Yugi completely showed off why Yin-Yang is a beast and a damn God. Of course, Yugi can't use this power because once he uses up all 9 times/lives; he's dead. So it's a last resort.
