Lord Zedd has learned of a powerful energy source known as Marauldia, and he plans on using it to permanently power Serpentera. With the Zeo Rangers divided due to this threat and an invasion of Earth by Rita and Zedd's forces, will they succeed in defeating Rita and Zedd once and for all, or have they finally met their match?

1. Prologue

(AN) Hello and welcome to the prologue to my first ever Power Rangers fanfic, and likely my only one: Scorpion Rain.

This fic will serve as an adaptation of the infamous fan hoax Scorpion Rain. For anybody unaware, Scorpion Rain is a fan hoax about an alleged five part story that would bridge the gap between Zeo and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. There's been a few fan recreations over the years, so I thought I'd take a crack at doing my own adaptation; hope you enjoy.

Disclaimer: I don't own Power Rangers; all characters and locations are owned by Hasbro and Netflix.

Power Rangers Zeo: Scorpion Rain

Prologue

It had certainly been a crazy period for Rita Repulsa, Lord Zedd and their cohorts. For nearly three years, they had been the main threat to Earth, that was until the Machine Empire had briefly driven them away, but now they were back in Zedd's palace, which thankfully hadn't sustained too much damage from the empire's attack.

"Ohhhh, it feels so good to be home, Zeddy!" cried Rita gleefully as she and Zedd looked around the throne room, "Now that the Machine Empire is gone, we can get back to trying to conquer that miserable planet and destroy those annoying Power Rangers."

"Well then, you'll be delighted to know that I have come up with the perfect plan that will ensure our ultimate victory," declared Zedd wickedly, "While we were stuck at your father's place, I learned of a powerful energy source known as Marauldia. With this energy source, Serpentera will never run low on power again!"

"That's fantastic!" said a delighted Rita, "The people of Earth and those annoying brats won't know what's hit them!"

The couple walked over to the balcony and looked out at Earth, they then began to laugh wickedly.

So, just like the hoax, this story will attempt to explain the continuity errors found within Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie and by extension, Power Rangers Turbo.

In the next chapter, we start the story properly: Rita and Zedd attempt to divide the rangers' attention by sending out a monster of the week while also trying to obtain the Mauraldia.
