"Mister?" Truman took a deep breath and blurted out, "You are just leaving like this?"
"Is there something wrong?" Nuttley looked at Truman in confusion.
"That means I'm fine?" Truman was upset with the Ministry of Magic's attitude.
"Yes, it was just a mistake." Nuttley's tone was formulaic.
Truman looked at Albert next to him and said in a cold voice, "I need an apology sir, do you have any idea how much this letter has affected me? Do you have any idea how angry I was when I found out that I had been expelled somehow? And you guys are now saying that it's fine, dismissing me? Do you think that's it's alright to bully me just because I'm a child, sir?"
Truman's tone hardened, the fact that the Ministry of Magic's was actually just going to pat themselves on the back and walk away really pissed him off. Earlier, Albert pre-emptively gave him the right words to say, the original slightly trembling tone gradually became tough, "I need an apology from the Ministry of Magic's, this matter is completely caused by your mistakes, it has nothing to do with me, and also the Ministry of Magic's has to compensate me for my psychological damage.'"
"What? I think I must not have heard you correctly." Nuttley's expression froze, even Dumbledore's expression slackened.
"I'm sorry, but I suffered psychological damage, sir." Truman clenched his fist, "One hundred galleons."
"I'm sorry kid, for the trouble, but there's no precedent for psychological damages..." Nuttley couldn't help but raise an eyebrow.
"I don't accept your apology, sir, there's no sincerity." Truman said in exasperation, "You think I'm just a child, that's easily bullied?"
Nuttley and Dumbledore looked at each other.
"I think it fits gentlemen, I was there and Truman lunged at me after reading the letter I even suspected he had gone mad. It took me a long time to calm him down enough to suggest that he write a letter to Headmaster Dumbledore." Albert looked calmly at the two men in front of him. Honestly, he didn't like the Ministry of Magic, at least not when he read the novels, and even more so after seeing how the Ministry of Magic handled the situation.
To make such a big mistake, at least give a sincere apology you bastards, patting yourself on the back doesn't help anyone.
Dressing up and just being a bunch of pricks exploiting their positions, no wonder they got into that mess with Voldemort.
"Also, I too think your apology was insincere." Albert narrowed his eyes and smirked, "It's not like I haven't encountered adults like you before, one of my former teachers was a similar sort."
Nuttley's expression darkened instantly.
"Of course, you can also just dismiss us as children." Albert suddenly laughed and patted Truman on the shoulder, "That's just the way some people are. Don't mind it too much and just head back. I'll be in touch through owls, perhaps we can have a chat about what can be learned from this incident."
Nuttley left with a dark look on his face, he had no idea what he was going to be dealing with.
"See you again then, Headmaster." Albert said with a small nod towards Dumbledore, "I appreciate you helping Truman out of this mess. If he had been expelled because of me, I would have felt guilty about it."
"See you again Mr. Anderson and Mr Truman." Headmaster Dumbledore left as well.
"Those guys are annoying." Truman said as he clenched his fists, "What an attitude, so annoying, I wanted to punch him so much."
"How about a letter to the Daily Prophet?" Albert smiled at Truman after Dumbledore left.
Just now, he triggered a Quest called 'Truman's Discontent'.
"Be sure to expose this."
"Remember to share half of the reward you get with me." Albert wasn't afraid of getting into trouble at all, the rewards of this Quest were rich, they were 3000 experience points and an additional 25 galleons.
"Okay, you write it. By the way, are your parents trully lawyers?" Truman couldn't help but ask.
"Of course, they are both lawyers. So I'm actually quite good with these kind of problems. Not to mention, we're in the right and society likes an underdog. And people would definitely like to see a scandal at the Ministry of Magic's in the Daily Prophet as well. When the time comes, talk to the reporter, and just make sure that our names and pictures don't appear in the paper, and keep the Ministry of Magic's letter safe."
Albert knew who would be good for this.
Britain, London, Daily Prophet headquarters, Rita Skeeter was pondering today's special issue. Lately, there hadn't been any major stories to write about, and it was troubling her.
People liked to read major news stories, no matter if true or exaggerated. As long as the newspaper could catch the readers' attention, that's all that counted in Rita's opinion.
She was interrogating her assistant, attempting to find some news that would generate a buzz.
It wasn't long before several letters were placed on Rita Skeeter's desk. She opened the envelopes, there were some cursing her and some revealing titbits of information to her, however, one letter managed to catch Rita Skeeter's attention, and after reading the letter, Rita Skeeter knew that this was the news that she was looking for, as it had a picture attached to it.
A few days later, the Ministry of Magic's Improper Use of Magic Office became famous. In the Daily Prophet, it was depicted by Rita Skeeter as a department that constantly screws up and refuses to admit their mistakes and handles problems extremely poorly.
Nuttley was also singled out, and the unlucky fellow became the target of constant criticism.
At the end of her article, Rita Skeeter writes that the victim, doubtful that the Ministry of Magic's still worthy of trust, exposed the incident to the Daily Prophet and asked for 50 galleons for psychological compensation, as the Ministry of Magic was unwilling to pay. It's less than the Ministry of Magic's should have paid, and they still owe the boy a sincere apology.
After Nuttley saw this newspaper, he suddenly felt what a terrible decision he had made in this case, and he remembered what the boy had said: "Do you think that's it's alright to bully me just because I'm a child, sir?"
However, his opponent proved that he wasn't an easy target.
Soon after the newspaper came out, it immediately caused a commotion.
Nuttley was temporarily suspended without pay, while the Improper Use of Magic Office suffered as many people sent letters there.
Rita Skeeter used her pen to show everyone what it meant for words to be lethal, and after being given the two people's accounts, the reporter used them skilfully to spin the tale she desired, and in the process made a mess at the Ministry of Magic.
She wasn't worried at all about the content being unreliable, as it was accompanied by the letter from the Ministry of Magic's Improper Use of Magic Office, and there was no way to try to shrug it off.
Truman was in a very pleased, he got 25 galleons as psychological compensation, this amount of money was simply a fortune he couldn't have imagined having at all.
Moreover, that female reporter didn't expose his and Albert's name, things were just as Albert guessed, Daily Prophet took this incident as the headline, ruthlessly attacking the Ministry of Magic, and incidentally letting the scumbags on top suffer.
Albert's mood was also very good, his Quest was completed, and he also got Truman's friendship, they still often contacted each other through owls in the summer holidays, and the other party was able to give him some help with his magic.
As for his share of galleons, he used them to subscribe to the Daily Prophet.
