"These are called Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans." Lee Jordan shook his box and handed it to the three of them, "It has all kinds of flavours in it, try it."
"You have to be careful eating these." George warned, "When he says every flavour, he means basically every flavour."
"Not only will it have the usual flavours of chocolate, Peppermint and marmalade, but it will also taste of spinach, liver and tripe. By the way, watch out for the earwax flavour." Fred reached over and grabbed one and tossed it into his mouth, "This one is pumpkin flavoured."
"What flavour is this one?" Albert asked as he picked up a grey bean.
"Pepper flavoured, I wouldn't touch it if I were you." George kindly reminded, "Like this chicken flavoured one I have."
"What about this one?" Albert said as he picked up the bubblegum-like thing.
"This is Drooble's Best Blowing Gum."
"I know these, Chocolate Frog, I had it last time." Albert said pointing to the chocolate frog.
"Pumpkin pasties, cauldron cakes, liquorice wands." George went on to explain the other weird and wonderful foods, some of which changed the colour of the whole tongue when eaten, and some of which made all sorts of noises when eaten.
"Voice-altering candy that makes all kinds of animal sounds."
Albert unwrapped them and took one out and asked, "What kind of sound will this make?"
"I don't know."
"How long will it last?"
"Probably a few seconds!"
Albert threw the candy into his mouth and opened his mouth to suddenly let out a lion-like roar, and the others couldn't help but laugh.
"Let's try some!"
George ate the one that was a baboon, Fred a cat, and Lee Jordan was more unlucky, the one he ate was an elephant, his cheeks instantly reddened and two puffs of smoke came out of his ears, causing the crowd to burst into laughter.
"Ugh, I didn't buy enough." Albert found the candy interesting and went to the other cart to find the Witch and bought some more.
"I bought it for my younger sister." Albert noticed the others' puzzled gazes and explained with a smile.
Of course, Albert didn't intend to eat them to fill his stomach, for that he had the sandwiches Daisy had prepared for him and ate them under the puzzled gazes of the crowd.
"What are you doing buying so much stuff when you brought food too?" Lee Jordan was puzzled.
"Because it's new, and if I come across any interesting ones, I'll send some back to my family." Albert picked up a bottle of peach flavoured soda and asked, "You guys want to try some?"
"What's this?"
"A drink, you guys probably haven't had one." Albert bought a glass of pumpkin juice, the flavour was a bit unusual, it reminded him of soya milk.
"How do I open it." The twins curiously surveyed the canned soda.
"It's has a ring pull on it, don't shake it, watch out for the drink spewing out of it." Albert warned, but it was too late and Fred was sprayed in the face as he opened the soda.
"I warned you guys, don't shake it." Albert stifled a laugh, taking the remainder of the peach flavoured soda from the other man's hand, only half of it was left.
He drew his wand and cleaned the water off the table & newspaper before asking, "You guys want to have a taste?"
With that, he lifted his wand and flicked it at the paper bag of candy on the table, turning it into a plastic cup.
"Wow!" The twins let out an exaggerated sound at once.
"What?" Albert looked at them quizzically and chanted again, "Geminio."
He used the Doubling Charm to turn the plastic cups into three.
"You just used magic right?"
"Oh, just a little trick I learnt from the spell book." Albert said lightly, "Why?"
"Why?" Lee Jordan said breathlessly, "You're a Wizard from a Muggle family, right?"
"So?" Albert asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I bet there's absolutely no freshman who can use magic as skilfully as you."
"You guys are exaggerating" Albert diverted, "Care for a drink?" He poured a small portion cup for each of the three.
"It tastes a bit strange, but it's not that bad."
"It feels kind of similar to beer, but different."
"You guys have had beer?" Albert asked curiously.
"George stole a bottle."
"You tried it too."
"You're not muggles, it's only natural that you're not used to drinking it." Albert didn't have a hard time understanding that, it was just like with pumpkin juice for himself.
"That's not the point, how did you do it, I've heard Transfiguration is super hard to learn." Lee Jordan said exaggeratedly.
"Super hard?" Albert thought carefully, it seemed that it wasn't as hard as the other party said? He had asked Truman about the trick of turning matches into pins, and then after practising for a week and maxing out his level 1 Transfiguration, he was able to easily transform small items.
"It is indeed a bit difficult, it took half a day to do the changing a match into a needle, but it's easier when you're good and skilled."
"Half a day." The three of them looked at each other in disbelief, suddenly feeling a bit self-conscious and not feeling like talking to each other.
You'll lose friends if you act like that.
"Is it really simple?"
"That, how much magic have you mastered?" George asked weakly.
"'I tried all the ones in the textbook... Didn't you guys take advantage of the summer holidays to try some magic?" Albert looked at the few people suspiciously.
"Our parents wouldn't let us touch our wands."
"You guys could have tried it in secret, and didn't you buy wands?" Albert was speechless for a moment.
"Did, did you even succeed?" Fred asked weakly.
"Most of them succeeded, I also met a student from Hogwarts during the summer holidays, we have kept up a correspondence, and he gave me a lot of tips for learning magic..."
Boom!
A thunderbolt struck down from the sky, interrupting Albert's words, and the rain outside the compartment became heavier.
Is this something even the heavens can't stand?
Lee Jordan got up and closed the window to avoid the rain from beating in.
"Hopefully the rain will stop by the time we get to school." Albert threw a piece of chocolate into his mouth and chewed slowly.
The long journey on the train was a bit boring.
"What's going on with you guys?" Albert asked, looking suspiciously at the silent trio.
"Nothing!" Fred barely managed to squeeze out a sentence, "It always feels like you're going to be an awesome guy in the future."
"I feel the same way." Albert suddenly said, which choked all three of them.
"Haha, just kidding, nobody knows what the future holds."
For the rest of the day they all just snacked and talked about the magical world, mostly the three of them talking while Albert listened.
When it came to Quidditch, it was interesting for Albert to hear the trio doing their best to explain how four balls, with seven players, would make a match.
It was obvious that the twins wanted own a good Broomstick and have a match.
"I would love to try flying into the sky." Albert said, "Although riding a broom is a bit odd."
