"Finite Incantatem."
Albert looked at the wooden door that had almost been torn to pieces and couldn't help but twitch his eyes.
"Merlin's Beard, what now?"
The Weasley trio looked at the torn wooden door, swallowed their saliva, and took a step back without realising what had just happened.
"Are we..." Fred raised his hand to make a quick escape gesture, as it would be bad if he was caught by someone.
"Don't be silly. A powerful wizard would use a tracking revealing charm to find out who's been here recently." Albert reached out and grabbed Fred by the shoulder to remind him not to run away.
"What should we do?" George looked at Albert uneasily.
"I should be able to fix it. I remember the spell is Reparo." Albert quickly calmed down, raised his wand and pointed it at the broken wooden door, concentrating and reciting the repair charm.
The plank that had been torn off the hinge flew back onto the door, and the crack slowly healed, and it would soon be restored.
However, before the door could be fully repaired, the door suddenly opened from the inside.
The four of them froze in place, because Professor McGonagall walked out from behind the door, looked at the slowly repairing door, and then looked at the four of them standing in front of her. The atmosphere around them suddenly became a bit awkward.
"What the hell are you doing?" Professor McGonagall's face twitched, and she stared sternly at the four of them. Just now, she heard a noise coming from the secret door in her office, and when she came to check, she found that the door to her office had been torn down?
This scene instantly stunned her.
"Sorry, Professor, we didn't know that Open Sesame was a spell." Albert immediately apologised and corrected his attitude, "It was just an... accident."
"No need to say anymore, Mr. Anderson, come in, and you too." Professor McGonagall looked at the four of them with a blank expression and let them enter her office.
"It was just an accident, Professor." Albert repeated softly. The twins and Lee Jordan behind him held their breath and were too nervous to speak.
"Very good repair charm. However, Mr. Anderson, I must remind you that Open Sesame is an unlocking charm from hundreds of years ago. Wizards nowadays don't use such crude magic." Professor McGonagall looked at Albert and reminded him, "If you've read «The Standard Book of Spells - Elementaries», you'll know that the Alohomora is now the preferred spell for opening doors."
"I know. But the Alohomora won't work on this door."
"Because Anti-Alohomora has been cast on it." explained Professor McGonagall. "That's why your spell didn't work. This is the knowledge of charms. I think Professor Flitwick will be pleased that you asked him these questions."
"I will."
"No more of this, gentlemen, or you'll be in detention." Professor McGonagall didn't seem to be in the mood to scold anyone, so she turned around, took a piece of parchment from her desk, and handed it to Albert, saying, "This is the First Year timetable. Put it up on Gryffindor's notice board for me."
"It won't happen again, I promise." Albert said, taking the First Year timetable from Professor McGonagall and quickly pushing the twins and Lee's backs, and quickly walked out of Professor McGonagall's office.
"You scared me to death." It was only when they were far away from Professor McGonagall's office that they dared to speak.
"We actually broke the door to Professor McGonagall's office?" Lee Jordan was still in disbelief.
"Luckily, we didn't get any points deducted or detention." Albert said, looking at the timetable Professor McGonagall had given them. The first lesson on Monday was charms.
"But, Albert, your door-opening spell actually broke the door." Fred said, his eyes shining with excitement.
"It was just an accident. I didn't know it was a spell." Albert took the wand and tapped the parchment. The original timetable was split in two, and then in four.
He handed the timetable to the three of them.
"It's not until Thursday afternoon that we have flying lessons." said George, a little disappointed after reading the timetable. He was looking forward to flying in the sky on a broom.
"Don't you think the number of lessons is a bit low?" Albert frowned after reading the timetable for the week. Hogwarts felt more like free-range teaching.
"There are not enough classes? Are you crazy?" Lee looked at Albert in disbelief, as if he had been under some strange charms.
"In a muggle school, there are at least double the amount of classes."
Albert thought about it and guessed the are only a few professors in the school. If there are two classes a week for a grade, a professor needs to teach 24 classes (four Houses in Grades 6 and 7 together).
They have Saturdays and Sundays off, which means they have a full week of classes.
Now that I think about it, it's not that hard to understand.
"What are you thinking about?" George asked.
"Nothing. Let's go. Keep looking for classrooms." Albert stuffed the timetable into his pocket and headed for the marble staircase.
So far, the four of them had found the classrooms for Transfiguration and History of Magic on the second floor of the castle, as well as the abandoned bathroom, which he remembered was the entrance to Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets, where a dangerous Basilisk lived.
Since it was a girls' bathroom, the four of them just passed by and didn't go in, of course.
The exploration of the castle was quite rewarding. Near the hallway of the Charms classroom on the fourth floor, the four of them discovered a secret passage behind the tapestry. The end of this secret passage was near the armour hallway and the trophy room.
"I think Hogwarts tapestries all hide secret passages." Lee Jordan joked as he came out of the secret passage.
There was no way they could have found all the secret passages today, hidden behind the tapestries. It was not surprising that they had such a misunderstanding.
"I dare say that most people can find these secret passages." George said a little disappointed. He hoped to find more hidden passages that no one else knew about.
"We'll find them. Let's go in and take a look at the trophy room." Albert suggested. Actually, he was a little curious about whether the medals and trophies were made of gold and silver.
"George, Fred." Lee Jordan pointed to a cabinet and said, "Look at this. Your brother Charlie was once the Quidditch captain and won the Quidditch Cup for the House."
"Yeah. But he only won it once." George looked at the Slytherin trophies and was a little depressed. Gryffindor and Slytherin have never been on good terms.
"The Slytherins will do anything to achieve their goals." Fred muttered. He added, "Percy told me."
"Yes, the Slytherin House guys are the most annoying." Fred agreed. "Percy said that once Slytherin House fell out of first place, they would do anything to get the new first place points deducted. Snape is even more biased towards his students and never deducts points from them. Many students at the school don't like him and always call him an old bat."
Albert's face twitched when he heard the twins.
Although it was a joke, don't put all the blame on Percy. He is your older brother, not a scapegoat!
