The Gryffindor common room was packed with students in the late afternoon, everyone was sitting on the couches and chatting.
The sofa seats in the common room were limited, and with more people, it was crowded and noisy, so Albert didn't have the idea of staying in the common room, and once he posted the First Year's schedule on the bulletin board, and put his camera and photos back to his dormitory, he went directly to the library on the fifth floor of the castle.
There were no other students in the library, and rightly so, not many students, even Ravenclaws, would set foot in the library before the official start of the school year.
The only person in the library was the administrator, Madam Pince, who was sitting alone behind the counter quietly reading a book.
It was only when Albert walked towards the counter that Madam Pince raised her head, seemingly a little surprised that someone would actually come to the library at this time.
"Ma'am, excuse me. I'm looking for some books on charms, do you know which row of shelves they are on?" Albert asked softly.
In fact, Albert could have looked for them by himself, but there was quite a collection of books here, and it was time-consuming, labour-intensive and unappealing, so asking the librarian directly was the fastest way.
Madam Pince looked at Albert, raised her hand and pointed to a row of wooden bookshelves and said, "Section C, the fifth shelf."
Albert looked in the direction of the other party's finger and said thank you before heading towards the bookshelf in Section C. drawn to the rope leading to the Restricted Section for a moment, before continuing to walk inwards. In the fifth shelf were a number of books on charms.
As Albert reached out and brushed the spines of the books, his fingers couldn't help but lurch as two Quests actually popped up on his panel.
Reading Maniac.

Restricted Magic Section.
The Restricted Section of Hogwarts hides a lot of secrets, as a lover of magic how can you miss it? If you can borrow a few books from it and study them carefully, it will help improve your magic.
Successfully convince five professors to allow you to borrow five books from the Restricted Section.
Reward: skill level plus 1.
Current: 0/5
To put it mildly, both Quests are heavenly!
It wasn't easy to finish 100 books, and they had to be 1 inch thick, this was asking him to finish 100?
It's not easy to finish 100 books, and they're 1 inch thick.
TL/N: First of all it hurts my soul that brits use imperial, so it would be inauthentic to switch measurements to sane units… and second I think the book lovers here will agree, 2,5cm thick books are not massive books to me and reading 100 of them isn't that bad, even if they're non-fiction… When I was younger, before reading stuff digitally and I borrowed books from the library I read way more than 100 books in a year...
This Quest can not be completed in a moment, three years to finish, thanks to Merlin's shelter.[modern_footnote]You didn't miss anything in the quest descriptions, this is the first we hear of the time limit./modern_footnote]
The second Quest was even more pitiful. It wasn't easy to get a permision slip for the Restricted Section from the professors. Moreover from five different professors.
In Albert's reflection, the easiest one was probably Gilderoy Lockhart.
However, the difficulty was high and the rewards were rich, skill level plus 1 was much more powerful than skill points.
Now was not the time to consider these Quests, Albert eliminated distractions and casually drew out a spell book, which was called An Anthology of Eighteenth Century Charms.
He flipped through the catalogue and counted, there were thirty-three magic spells recorded on it, each of which recorded in detail the inventor of the magic spell, how to use the spell correctly, and what significance its invention had...
After reading the catalogue, Albert lost his interest in the book, he didn't find the Disillusionment Charm in the catalogue.
The other spells were good, but for the current Albert, they would not come in handy for the time being, and it would take a lot of time and effort to learn these spells, or a lot of the stored Experience Pool.
Although the Experience Pool still had a lot of experience, Albert didn't want to use it.
Stuffing the Anthology of Eighteenth Century Charms back into the bookshelf, Albert withdrew a copy of Achievements in Charming, a book that introduced charms, and Albert found the Disillusionment Charm in it.
Unfortunately, the book did not introduce how to cast the disillusionment charm, it merely introduced some incantations.
However, from the information provided above, Albert found a reference to An Anthology of Nineteenth Century Charms.
This was undoubtedly good news.
Albert took the Anthology of Nineteenth Century Charms and sat down at the library desk, flipping through the books and reading them carefully.
The invention of the disillusionment charm was inspired by the chameleon, and the spell could make a person blend into the surrounding environment to achieve the effect of invisibility.
Highly skilled Wizards who used the disillusionment charm were not easy to be discovered, but the crappy ones had a hard time concealing themselves from others because their bodies could not fully blend into their surroundings, which would give an uncanny feeling of something not being right.
As Albert was concentrating on reading about disillusionment charms, he was surprised when someone pulled a chair out. He raised his head to look and found that the other person was the young Ravenclaw girl that he had met in the Great Hall in the morning.
Seemingly noticing Albert's sight, the other party also looked up and gave Albert a slight nod before returning her attention back to her book.
"Not bad for a Ravenclaw." Albert muttered in a small voice and continued to read the notes on the Disillusionment Charm, ready to find a place to practice.
The next thing that needed to be done was to find the Disillusionment Charm.
Although the duration of the Disillusionment Charm wouldn't be too long, if he didn't master the way to undo the spell, he might need to wait for the effects of the spell to wear off before revealing himself automatically, which wasn't a good idea.
There was no record of this at the end of the spell, however, Albert found the Presentation Spell in Achievements in Charming.
TL/N: I can't find this spell in the wiki, in the wiki it's mentioned that the Disillusionment Charm has been countered by the General Counter Spell and there's no mention of another spell used to do this.
Albert took the Anthology of Nineteenth Century Charms, went to Madam Pince's to check out the book, and picked up a rock outside the castle to use as a target for practice; naturally, he wouldn't be so stupid as to use a spell he hadn't mastered yet on himself.
Just as Albert was considering where to go to practice his charms, the Weasley Twins and Lee Jordan appeared in the foyer out of breath.
"Where were you guys at lunch?" Albert asked as he looked at the trio.
"Fifth floor, the mirror." George was so out of breath from running that he couldn't even speak clearly.
"Where does that passageway lead?" Albert asked.
"Outside the castle, it brought us to Hogsmeade Village." Fred's face was beaming with excitement, their first day at Hogwarts' and they had actually found a secret passage leading out of the school.
Albert raised an eyebrow and said, "So... you guys are going to play in Hogsmeade for a few hours before you come back?'
"No, that secret passage was very long, we travelled for at almost an hour."
"You guys... are awesome!" Albert barely squeezed out these words, if he had walked for 1 hour, it would have been an ordeal for him.
After all, as a salted fish who could sit on the couch and read a book, why would he have to work his way up to the secret passage, and it would take two hours to come and go.
What kind of suffering was this?
"This is my result." Albert said as he lifted the book in his hand, "Borrowed it from the library."
"You found the spell." Fred realised what Albert was referring to.
"Yeah, found it." Albert admired Fred's wit a little, "But it's a bit difficult to master the spell, so if you guys want to learn it you'll have to be a little prepared."
