Chapter 19: Meeting The Immediate Murder Professionals
The next day…
Stolas wakes up from his sleep. He lets out a yawn as he places his hand over his mouth. The Goetia Prince opens his eyes and sees the surroundings that aren't his own room.
He then remembers, "That's right. Zak and I decided to spend the night at the princess' hotel."
Stolas soon turns his head to see Blitz is still sleeping next to him. He can't help but smile to see Blitz's peaceful face. He's really glad to be able to see Blitz, his childhood friend and crush again, after over two decades. Stolas gently reaches his head out and places his hand on the Imp's cheek and curtsy it. He can't help but smile. He is so happy to see him again, after so long.
Stolas says in thought, "Oh Blitz, I'm glad to see you again. To have you back in my life again."
He then removes his hand when Blitz shows signs of waking up. Blitz begins waking up as he lets out a soft yawn and opens his eyes to see the Goetia Prince.
"Good morning, Blitz," Stolas says with a smile.
Blitz smiles and says, "Good morning, Stolas. How did you sleep?"
"I slept alright," Stolas says with a smile, "How about you?"
"I'm okay," Blitz says and sits up, "Despite what happened yesterday, I'm feeling better now."
"I'm glad to hear you're feeling better," Stolas says.
"Thanks," Blitz says. He then gets out of bed, "I'm just going to check on the kids to see if they're awake. Tilla sometimes has a habit of waking up a little early."
"Of course," Stolas says with a nod.
Blitz then gets out of bed, puts on his robe, and leaves his room to check his children. He opened the door to see Keenan and Aurora are still asleep in their beds, but Tilla who is up and standing on her crib.
Seeing her daddy, Tilla happily reaches out, "Dada."
"Morning Tilla, you slept well?" Blitz asks and picks up his daughter.
Tilla giggles and hugs her dad.
"Good to hear, but remember to be quiet, we don't want to wake your brother and sister, so quiet time," Blitz says.
Tilla hushes, "Quiet quiet," as she places her hands over her mouth.
Blitz then slowly leaves the room and gently closes the door with his tail. He soon returns to the room as Stolas still sits on the bed.
"I'm back, and I have someone I want you to meet," Blitz says.
Stolas turns to see Blitz and has the little girl. Stolas practically gushes to see the toddler, "Oh Blitzy, who is this cute little child?"
"Stolas, this is my youngest daughter, Tilla. Tilla, this is Stolas. He's an old friend of mine," Blitz says.
Tilla shyly waves, "Hi birdie."
"Yes. I am a bridie," Stolas says and leans to Tilla, "And it's a pleasure to meet you, Tilla. I'm Stolas."
Tilla then reaches her hands out, and touches his feathers, "Fluffy feathers."
Stolas giggles, "Yes. My feathers are fluffy."
Then he turns to Blitz, "You mind if I hold her?"
"Not at all," Blitz says.
Blitz passes Tilla to Stolas, and the prince places the little toddler in his arms.
"Hello Tilla, my name is Stolas. It's a pleasure to meet you," Stolas introduces himself.
"Sto Sto…" Tilla tries to say his name, but then ends up saying, "Hi Stoly!"
"Aww. She is so sweet and adorable," Stolas says, and begins hugging her, "She reminds me of Via when she's little."
"Glad you like her," Blitz says.
Tilla giggles and lets out a small yawn.
"Still a little sleepy aren't we?" Stolas says.
Blitz giggles and glad to see Stolas and Tilla are getting along.
Soon, they hear a knock on the bedroom door.
"Come in!" Blitz calls out.
Soon, the door opens to reveal Loona.
"Morning dad," Loona says to her dad.
Then turns to Stolas, "Morning uh, Stolas right?"
"You are correct," Stolas says.
Loona smiles, "And I can see you've met Tilla."
"Yes. Your baby sister is very adorable," Stolas says.
"Yep, and she's snuggling her face into your chest," Loona says.
Blitz and Stolas look down to see Tilla snuggling her fast against Stolas' feathery chest.
Tilla happily says, "Feathery birdie. Softy feathery birdie."
Stolas giggles, "Yes. My feathers are soft."
"First she thinks angel's chest is fluffy and now she thinks yours is feathery," Loona says, rolling her eyes with a smile.
"I guess so," Blitz says, "Anyway, we should start getting ready and head down stairs."
"Yeah, and you'll need to explain it to Aurora and Keenan when they get up," Loona says.
"Right," Blitz says.
Sometime later…
Everyone is up and dressed and are now in the hotel lobby. Of course, Keenan and Aurora are a bit surprised to hear from their dad about some unexpected visitors who are actually close friends of his from his childhood.
Blitz introduces the family, "Stolas. Zak. This is my family. My eldest daughter, Loona. My second eldest, Aurora. My third eldest, Keenan. And of course, the youngest is little Tilla. And this is our family pet fox, Sophie."
"Hey," Loona says.
"Hi," Aurora and Keenan reply.
Sophie lets out a bark.
"Well Blitz, I'm surprised to see and hear everything you've been doing the past 25 years," Zak says. He then grins.
"Yes. I guess I have, Zak," Blitz says.
Zak then looks at little Tilla, "Still, I'm actually surprised that you named her Tilla."
"Why do you say that?" Sir Pentious asks.
"Well, Tilla was actually Blitzo's mother's name. Not only that, she also has the same hair color, style, eye colors. Heck, she even has the same kind of horns as her," Zak says.
"Really?" Blitz asks.
"Yes. I'm guessing that's one of the things you have trouble remembering, huh," Zak says.
"Yeah," Blitz says.
Then Stolas asks, "How did you think of the name Tilla?"
"I don't really know. It just came to me," Blitz says.
"Another relapse huh," Vaggie says.
"Appears so," Blitz says.
"Well, glad to hear that you're able to remember my name, but do you really don't remember anything else?" Zak responds.
"Sadly no," Blitz says, shaking his head.
"Still, it's actually a good thing you guys came to us instead of us going to you," Loona says.
"Yeah. It really saved us the trouble of us having to call or go to your place," Angel says.
"I suppose so, I'm just glad to hear that Blitz is alright and was able to do well for himself," Stolas says.
"We're glad to know that Blitz has some friends who can help us with his problem," Charlie says.
"No kidding, he's gonna need it," Husk says.
"Rude much," Vaggie says, annoyed.
"Well, it's true," Husk says, shrugging his shoulders.
"He's not wrong, Vaggie. I need to work on gaining more of my memories, and get to know more about Hell's environment and uh, modern tech. Not to mention learn more and find the six other crystals that were scattered across Hell," Blitz says.
"Modern Tech?" Zak asks.
Alastor laughs with a smile, "Well Zak, our dear blitz Jonas not only lived in another world, but also lived in a different time period. According to Mr. Jonas' explanation, it would have been 1932 in his world by this time. Which means, he has more class than the demons of this modern time."
"Ugh?" Zak says annoyed.
"1932?" Stolas questions.
He thinks and says, "Hmm, I suppose this other world was in a different time period from Hell or Earth."
"Yes. I was a bit skeptical when I learned about the different timelines," Blitz says.
"Well, it's best we take everything slow so Blitz and his family can handle modern tech, Hell's environment, not to mention Blitz's memories and headaches," Vaggie says.
"Well, we already started explaining a bit about it yesterday. However, today, I think it's best for Blitz to get acquainted with you two. Of course, Stolas already did from yesterday," Charlie says.
"Good to hear it, especially since I've called up some friends to come here that I want them to meet," Zak says.
"When did you do that?" Angel asks.
"A little while ago," Zak answers.
Then turns to Stolas, "Oh yeah. I also asked them to pick up your daughter. Figure it would be a good idea for her to have some new friends and to meet our good old friend."
"Thank you Zak," Stolas says.
"When will they be here?" Aurora asks.
"They should be here soon," Zak says.
Suddenly, they hear a knock on the door.
"Perhaps that's your guests now," Alastor says.
Curious, Charlie opens the door to see six more demons.
The first demon is Zoey, half Imp and half Succubus. She has bright red skin, but has some white markings on her right arm, more like dots. She has yellow sclera with pink irises, pitch black horns, black wings with white tips on them. Her tail is long and skinny and it has a spade shape end, and has a white tip at the end, and a couple of white stripes at the base. She has raven black hair in a ponytail. On the right cheek is a white star and the right cheek is a black heart. The female imp is wearing a black backless jumpsuit, with a red belt and silver star shaped buckle around her waist, and black boots with purple hearts on it. She also has a taffy purple purse.
The second Imp is Zak and Zoey's son, who looks like Zak, but his face is fully bright red, with both black and white horns, he doesn't have stripes on his tail, and he actually has black wings on his back. He also has white shaggy hair. Like the adult imp, he has the same color eyes, skin, the symbol on his forehead, and has the long tail, but at the triangular end, he has a black diamond on it. He is wearing a red shirt with a collar, black shorts, and black and white sneakers. He also has a blue and white cap. He also has a dark brown backpack.
There is also a pair of imps, who are a couple.
The first one is a female. She is a short being with a long, devilish tail. She has red skin with white markings on her forearms and tail, eyes with yellow sclera and black pupils, and long thick eyelashes that extend beyond the sides of her hair. She also wore shimmery, dark red eyeshadow, thick eyeliner and mascara, as well as black lipstick. She has two black horns with three thin white stripes and dark gray hair worn in a messy bob style with bangs that cover half of her right horn. She has a beauty mark on her left cheek and a gap between her front teeth. And also has a black tattoo in the shape of a heart on her left shoulder. She is wearing an all-black color scheme with a tint of yellow; a simple black choker around her neck, with a cold-shoulder black crop-top, featuring golden-yellow buttons which hold the straps. She also dons a set of fingerless black gloves, complete with torn black denim-pants and black toeless footwear, exposing her hoof-like toes.
The second being is male. He has red skin and white freckles on his cheeks. His white pointy hair leads up to his curvy black and white striped horns. He also has yellow sclera with black slit pupils. He has a long red thin tail with a quadrilateral barb at the end, as well as lanky digitigrade legs ending in what appears to be cloven red hooves, reminiscent of artiodactyls. He wears a navy-black coat with red buttons and white cuffs, black pants a white shirt that has a black turtleneck, a large red bow-tie, and fingerless gloves.
And lastly, there are another couple, but two different demons.
The first one is a female succubus, She has bubble gum pink colored skin, she has straight pink horns with black on the top. She also has wings that are the same color, but with black markings on top. She has long flat blonde hair with an amber and light yellow streak. Her hair is straight down and has a purple bow and a gold yellow music note and topaz color gemstone on the back of her hair. She has yellow sclera and dark pink eyes. She also has a long tail with a heart shaped tip. She is wearing a black long sleeve crop top with dark blue skinny mini short. She is also wearing black boots with pink hearts on the front. Her accessories also have two cuff bracelets with topaz like gemstones, and a choker with the heart shaped topaz in the center.
And the second one is a shark like a demon. He is navy blue skin with a pale blue where the mouth and down how body. He has sharp white teeth. He has green eyes with white rings in it. He also has dark blue hair with a short down ponytail. He also has a fin on his back along with a long shark tail. He's wearing a white t-shirt with a leather jacket with silver studs on the collar area, black boots, and dark blue jean pants. He is also wearing a silver chain necklace around his neck, black fingerless gloves.
And there is one more demon. A female adolescent avian demon who sports a rather lanky figure with unkempt, slate-gray feathers, which forms into back-length and shaggy-styled hair with bangs. Her eyes sport pink sclera and bright white pupils, and her long pointed fingers are colored white. Her small beak is colored in black, and her long tail feathers sport tips which are a slightly darker shade than her feathers. She has a white mask-like face. She also wears soft-purple eyeshadow on her eyelids. She wears a black beanie hat with a pale yellow tiara design on her head, both a pink choker and a pink long-sleeved dress with a pattern of pale yellow stars printed all over it, which is worn under a black feathery cardigan on her shoulders, alongside a set of black leggings and heeled boots.
Zak sees them with a grin, "Hey guys. Glad to see you guys have made it."
"Well, you did call us all early in the morning and wouldn't stop calling for a few yours," The Imp with the freckles says.
The owl girl yawns, "Yeah. You even called my number like five times, and I was still asleep."
The short haired female imp says in a western accent, "And you seem very excited to tell us so we all came over."
Zak chuckles, "Sorry about that guys. But I needed you all to come, especially Zoey and Ash."
"Well honey, you were very excited, especially telling me about Blitzo," The female Imp with wings, Zoey says.
"Sorry honey, but I was just excited and wanted to introduce one of my childhood friends to you," Zak says.
The shark demon asks, "Really? Which one?"
Zak turns to Blitz and calls out, "Hey Blitz, come over for a second."
"Okay," Blitz says and walks to Zak.
Once Blitz is next to, Zak turns to the others and says, "Guys, this is Blitz, the childhood friend I was telling you about."
"Really?" The freckle imp questions.
"Yes Moxxie it is," Zak says, annoyed and rolling his eyes.
"But I thought you said he passed away years ago?" The succubus asks.
"Well it's a long story. We thought he died, but it turns out he lived in another dimension the whole time. And now he's here. He's also the imp who casted magic and fought that egg monster on the news a month ago," Zak says.
"Really? He's the one who got so many demons asking who he is and all that, the talk of Hell?" The southern Imp asks, excited.
"Talk of Hell?" Blitz questions.
Moxxie says, "Yes. you've been a big subject of all demons' hierarchy for weeks," He then introduces himself, "By the way, my name is Moxxie. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Then the southern, Imp, Millie says, "And I'm Millie. I'm his wife."
"It's nice to meet you," Blitz says.
Then the shark says, "I'm Welsey," And turns to the succubus, "And this is my girlfriend, Topaz."
The succubus, Topaz, says, "Nice to meet you."
Then Zoey steps forward, "Zak told me about what happened, so you won't remember or recognize me. My name is Zoey, I was an old friend of yours and your sister, Barbie," She then turns to the boy, "And this is our son, Ash."
"Hi," The imp boy, Ash waves.
"It's nice to meet you everyone," Blitz says, "Come inside and we can explain the details.
15 minutes later…
"So, you were really raised in another world for 25 years," Topaz asks, surprised.
"Yes. that's right," Blitz says.
"We have trouble believing it, but seeing his children are able to cast magic, and talk about how different this is, we believed him," Charlie says.
"And seeing all that magic he performed was not something that is likely in Hell," Wesley says.
"Yes. Imps aren't powerful enough to have magical potential like Stolas," Moxxie says.
"Well I think it's cool," Millie says.
"Well, I'm just glad to see that you're doing alright," Zoey says, And turns to the family, "And you have such nice children, and a cute pet."
Sophie barks.
Aurora happily says, "Sophie agrees too."
Aurora turns to Ash who blushes a bit.
Aurora says, "And you say, your name is Ash, correct? It's very nice to meet you."
"Um yeah. It's nice to meet you too," Ash says, embarrassed, "I'm um, surprised to know your dad knows mine. I thought what your dad did at that Turf War was cool."
"I'm glad you enjoyed it, but it was kind of scary when you're close to the action," Aurora says.
"Right," Ash says.
Blitz turns to Zak, "So Zak, what kind of work did you do? I remember you telling me that we used to work at the circus. Are you still doing it?"
"Oh well, to be honest, Zoey and I aren't part of that anymore. I'm actually in charge of a hitman company," Zak answers.
"Hitman?" Keenam questions.
"Like an assassin?" Loona questions
"In a way," Zak says, "We're basically in charge of killing humans in the living world. Mainly bad humans who did wrong with the clients."
"Killing is still bad though," Vaggie says, rolling her eyes.
"Don't worry about it, a lot of the humans there are ffffffreakin crazy," Zak says.
"Hmm, now that I remember, I did see that commercial you all did. At first I thought it was false advertising because demons like you can't get to earth, especially without human disguises," Charlie says.
"I remember seeing that commercial too. It's pretty wild to hear that you all kill humans," Angel says.
"Well we can," Wesley says.
"And we have disguises," Zak says.
"Humans can't be that bad?" Aurora asks.
"Well, that is true. Not all humans are bad, but some of them are rather much," Zoey says, "You remember that kid that Moxxie accidently shot."
Moxxie sighs, "Don't remind me."
"What do you mean?" Blitz asks.
"Well, it happened when we were assigned to kill someone…" Millie says.
Flashback:
Moxxie accidentally shoots a boy passing by, eating an ice cream cone.
The boy cries out, "AUUUGH!"
The boy collapses as Moxxie looks on in shock. Zak and Millie turn their eyes to Moxxie in surprise.
Sometime later in the hospital operating room. The boy is wheeled in on a hospital bed by a doctor, a pink-haired nurse, and a blue-haired nurse.
The pink haired girl says in a masculine voice, "Doctor, he's not responding!"
"Cool water, stat!" The blue-haired nurse says.
The pink-haired nurse whacks the boy in the face with a bucket of water, doing nothing but leaving a large welt on his face.
"It didn't do anything!" The Blue-haired Nurse points out.
The boys tongue flops down from his mouth.
"Dammit! I'm not losing another one," The doctor says.
Everyone has their defibrillator paddles over the boy.
The doctor shouts, "CLEAR!"
They all zap the boy and he wakes up with a gasp.
The doctor says, in shock, "Holy shit! It actually worked."
Meanwhile Zak, Millie, and Moxxie are waiting outside the boy's hospital room. Zak is reading a magazine, while Millie comforts Moxxie, who looks devastated.
The doctor comes out of the room with a clipboard, "He appears to be in stable condition, but he'll need surgery," Then looks up from his clipboard, "Now, what insurance provider do you freaks have?"
"The fuck is insurance?" Zak questions.
Moments later, outside of the hospital is shown, as a window breaks and the boy's hospital bed flies out. The boy is unconscious in the bed, while Millie, Moxxie, and Zak are holding on for dear life as they plummet screaming to the ground. The bed is stopped by a rope that has become tangled around Zak's foot. Zak slams his face into the bed, the rope snaps, and they all continue to fall.
Flashback Ends:
"Yikes," Blitz says, sounding uneasy.
"That must have hurt," Keenan says.
"Well, it wasn't the best job I've done," Moxxie says.
"And the client wasn't specific about the target during the time," Zoey says.
Zak groans, "And don't get me started on what happened after that."
Flashback:
"You guys are all fucking assholes," Someone speaks up.
Everyone looks with wide eyes in surprise to see the boy Moxxie accidentally shot earlier, Eddie, is wide away and is lying on the table with three wires from a heat monitor attached to his stomach.
"Oh, shut up, kid! You're lucky to witness this!" Zak says.
Moxxie pinches the bridge of his nose, "Ugh, this company can be such a mess at times!"
Eddie points to the group, "It's been a literal hell" and detaches the tubes of the heart monitor, "Having to pretend to be paralyzed so you fuckshits wouldn't kill me! But, now I want that. I want death!"
He then points to Zak again, "Are a weird, freekish, creepy clown, especially with one of your horns missing. And I'm a kid! We're supposed to like clowns! Even the creepy ones!"
"Hey, my husband can't help that one of his horns is missing," Zoey says.
"Really? I thought you were his brother because of that odd mark. Then again, both along with that kid will go together on how ugly you are," Eddie says.
Zak and Zoey are fuming with anger. They can take the insult, but no one calls their son ugly.
"Hey, now! That's not very-" Moxxie tries to argue.
But Eddie interrupts, " If I wanted to hear from a spineless jackass, I'd rip out your spine and ask you some shit," intimidating Moxxie.
Millie slams her hand on the table, "That's my husband you're talkin' to!" and gestures at Moxxie.
Eddie laughs, and points at them, "That's your husband?!"
Moxxie and Millie snarl at Eddie.
"I figured you for a slut. But, I didn't know you needed dick that bad!" Eddie says.
"Beg your pardon?" Topaz angrily says.
Wesley says angrily, "What you said was highly unnecessary."
"Like I'm going to listen to some freakshow shark and his slutty bat," The kid, Eddie says.
That causes the two to growl in anger.
"Wow. Ah, y'know, kid, you kind of are a piece of shit," Zak bluntly says.
Everyone mutters and agrees that this kid is a piece of shit, even Zak agrees.
Just then, Zoey receives a text and reads it, "Oh, fuck! Hon, I just got a text from our client! Guess he was the right target after all."
"Who?" Zak questions.
"Him," Zoey answers, pointing to Zak.
"Me?" Eddie asks in disbelief.
"Yup," Zoey says with a smug on her face.
"They wanted us to kill an actual child?" Zak asks.
"That's what they're sayin'," Zoey says, and gets up from her seat, "Well, if that's the case. I'll be handling this myself," and begins cracking her knuckles.
Then turns to her husband with a scary face, "honey, take everyone and especially our son out of the room. It's about to get ugly."
And with that, everyone rushes out of the room and Moxxie closes the door soon as everyone is out.
Zoey turns to Eddie and growls in anger, "Now then, you can bad mouth me all you want, but my son. That's another story."
Eddie becomes scared and screams in fright.
Flashback Ends:
"When we came to the office, we saw that Zoey really beat him to death and used Moxxie's chainsaw to chop him into pieces," Zak says.
Everyone looks very shocked to hear and see what Zoey can do, especially when someone insulted her kids.
Blitz nervously cuckles, "Uh, I'm not too comfortable about this, especially since my children are here."
"Relax, it's not like we're targeting nice kids," Zak says.
"That's true," Moxxie says.
"It still doesn't change the fact that humans are insane. Not to mention crappy towards others, including us," Topaz says. She then remembers, "Speaking of which, remember that Martha woman you told us something ago."
"I remember," Zak says, "Mille explains that she seems like a sweet mother, but she and her family are cannibal satanists."
"Don't remind me, they tried to burn me and Millie alive," Zak says,
"And they didn't know that Earth fire doesn't even work on us," Millie says.
"That would explain why normal fires never burn me, but fire from magic and other creatures do," Blitz says.
Tilla, Keenan, Aurora, and Loona, nod in reply.
Then Keenan asks, "So what happened?"
Zak then explains, "Well, it happened one day when a sinner named Mrs. Mayberry entered my office. According to her, she was a teacher for young children. After being reminded of her birthday, she wanted to wish her husband a happy birthday," Zak begins to explain, "But found out her husband is having an affair with another woman, and went ballistic and killed her husband and injured the woman so badly. Realizing what she did, Mayberry took her life and ended up here. And she came to my office…"
As Zak explains, Blitz says in thought, "Kind of weird how we're trying to talk about my family's situation, and we also ended up learning about Zak's hitman company."
