I literally had this thought coming into Natlan and how some parts of the fandom portray Aether.

The sun had begun to set over the bustling port of Fontaine, casting the entrance to the city in a warm, golden glow. Aether stood at the edge of the docks, looking out at the shimmering water, mentally preparing himself for the journey to Natlan. Paimon floated next to him, already thinking about their next adventure, her endless enthusiasm for food and travel keeping the mood light.

"Paimon wonder what kind of food they have in Natlan!" Paimon mused, spinning in the air with excitement. "Do you think it's spicy? Ooh, I bet they have all sorts of fiery dishes!"

Aether chuckled at Paimon's excitement. "We'll find out soon enough," he said, though his thoughts were briefly interrupted by the feeling of anticipation—Natlan's fiery land would bring new challenges, and possibly more mysteries about his journey.

Just as Aether was about to respond to Paimon, the sky above them darkened. The air became thick with an ominous energy, causing Paimon to freeze mid-sentence. A dark, swirling portal of abyssal energy suddenly opened up in front of them, cutting through the peaceful atmosphere of the port.

"W-What's going on?!" Paimon yelped, darting closer to Aether as the portal began to ripple.

Aether immediately reached for his sword, stepping protectively in front of Paimon as the portal grew larger. The crowd at the entrance to Fontaine began to back away, whispers of fear spreading among the onlookers. From the swirling darkness emerged a figure in dark robes—a tall, imposing Abyss Lector. Its eyes glowed faintly as it surveyed Aether.

"Aether, Traveler of Teyvat," the Lector intoned, its voice echoing with an eerie cadence. "The princess of the Abyss sends you a message."

Aether stiffened at the mention of Lumine, his sister. He had been trying to find her for so long, and now, it seemed she was reaching out to him again—but why now? His heart raced as the Lector extended a hand, holding out a small, rolled-up note.

"She instructs you to read this immediately," the Lector added before stepping back into the swirling abyss and disappearing as quickly as it had appeared. The portal vanished, leaving an eerie stillness in the air.

Aether blinked, his mind still trying to process the sudden appearance of the Lector. He held the note in his hand, feeling a mix of dread and curiosity. Paimon, floating nervously beside him, was the first to speak.

"What does the note say, Aether? Is it really from Lumine?"

Nearby, Navia, Chlorinde, Charlotte, and Furina, who had been watching the strange encounter, approached Aether. Their curiosity piqued, and they too wanted to know what the message from the Abyss could possibly contain.

"Go on, partner" Navia urged, her eyes locked on the note. "What's your sister saying?"

Aether hesitated, unrolling the note slowly. He took a deep breath and began to read aloud, his voice filled with a mixture of anticipation and nervousness.

"'Dear Aether,'" he started, and everyone around him leaned in closer.

"'I've been hearing rumors about you lately, and I've got to say, even I'm starting to take notice. Apparently, there are lots of women across Teyvat who seem to have… feelings for you.'"

Aether's face immediately flushed a deep shade of red, his voice faltering as he realized where this was going.

Paimon's eyes widened. "Oh no…"

Aether cleared his throat, pressing on.

"'I didn't think I'd need to address this, but seriously—what's going on with you? Everywhere I turn, I hear about another woman falling for you. Even I'm starting to wonder if you've somehow become Teyvat's most eligible bachelor.'"

Navia stifled a laugh, while Chlorinde raised an eyebrow, her expression one of mild amusement.

Aether, growing more and more embarrassed, continued reading despite the heat rising in his face.

"'I know you've always been kind and heroic, but come on, Aether—there's a limit! How many hearts are you planning on stealing before you make a decision? Mother didn't raise us to be like this!'"

By this point, Paimon couldn't hold back her laughter anymore. "Paimon can't believe it! Even Lumine is hearing about all these women!"

Furina, who had been standing silently beside them, gave Aether a sly grin. "It seems your reputation is more widespread than you thought, Traveler."

Aether groaned, wishing the ground would open up and swallow him whole. "It's not like that!" he protested, though he could barely find the words. "I… I'm not trying to make anyone fall for me! I'm just helping people!"

Navia smiled, clearly amused by the entire situation. "Well, your sister certainly thinks you've been more than helpful, Aether."

Chlorinde gave him a sideways glance, her arms crossed. "It's not every day someone gets called out by their sibling for… unintended romantic attention."

Meanwhile, Charlotte, her reporter instincts kicking in, was scribbling furiously in her notebook. "Oh, this will make for an excellent headline. 'Traveler's Sister Sends Stern Warning: Stop Charming Every Woman in Teyvat!' It's perfect!"

Aether buried his face in his hands, completely mortified. "Please, no headlines… not about this…"

Furina giggled, stepping forward with a teasing smile. "It seems you've been unintentionally creating quite the stir, Aether. I wonder what your next steps will be?" Her tone was dripping with amusement, clearly enjoying the Traveler's discomfort.

Paimon, wiping a tear from her eye after laughing so hard, floated next to Aether and patted his shoulder. "Maybe you should listen to Lumine, Aether. It's getting hard to keep up with all these admirers!"

Aether sighed deeply, feeling the weight of his embarrassment as his friends and companions teased him. He could hardly believe that even Lumine had taken notice of the rumors about him. "I didn't ask for any of this," he muttered under his breath, rubbing his temples.

Navia placed a hand on his shoulder, her expression softening. "Don't worry, Partner. You've made a difference in a lot of lives. I'm sure that's all Lumine is concerned about. Just… be careful with the hearts you're touching."

Chlorinde nodded in agreement. "You may not be doing it on purpose, but your actions have certainly left an impression."

Aether groaned again, though a small smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. As embarrassing as it was, he appreciated the fact that his friends were looking out for him—even if Lumine's note had caused him an overwhelming amount of mortification.

As the sun continued to set over the port, Aether couldn't help but wonder how he'd explain all this to Lumine the next time they met.

"I'm not a womanizer, Lumine!"
