Alyssa and the Kung Fu Panda

After receiving her father's medallion and grandfather's robe, a young girl named Alyssa is taken to a different China where animals did kung fu. There she met a panda who is the dragon warrior. Now Alyssa has to be the first human to help Po become a kung fu master in order for her to get home. Can she help him?

1. A Strange Adventure Beginning

My father and grandfather used to tell me stories about a world where animals did kung fu. I didn't believe at first. My father kept insisting that it's true. I then asked, "If that's true, then how come I never saw it?" Grandfather then said, "Now just because you haven't seen an animal do kung fu doesn't mean that it will happen."

I took his word for it. Then my father handed me something that was once his, a dragon medallion while Grandfather handed me something that was once his, a robe that has the colors of the dragon's flame. They look majestic to me. Father said, "This medallion was once mine when I was about your age and this robe was once your grandfather's when he was a bit older than you Alyssa, but now we want you to have them."

I was in awe after I put on the medallion and the robe. They look so cool to me. I didn't know what to say. Grandfather then said, "You know, exploring the yard will help you understand things."

I smiled and said, "Sure Grandfather, I'll give it a go." I then went outside to go for a walk.

I don't understand what to do about what my father and grandfather said. Then I began to notice my father's medallion and grandfather's robe starting to glow.

It confused me a bit. What is going on? Before I had time to find out what is happening, a flash of orange and yellow and gold light circled around me. This is like a wild ride. I landed with a thud.

I groaned. Then I got my eyes wide when I saw that I am dressed like a kung fu warrior. I then had a look around and there I found, that things are different. I have a feeling that I'm not at home anymore. I must be in China!
