Episode 1 - All Star Band
In a world where nightmarish beings like the infamous Yamata No Orochi doesn't exists, in a world where such legends as the one of the infamous NESTS cartel is nothing more than a fairy tale, we see two people a red haired musician talking with his manager and his couple, a woman of black hair sporting a white shirt and a leather jacket
"This is awful! Awful I tell you, I thought that my career alone would kick off well but it was barely a show, only five expectators." - This is Iori Yagami, lead guitarist of the now disbanded group know as The Cobras
"We wouldn't be in this situation if someone hadn't made the rest of the members of our band left... Again." - The sarcastic woman of black hair is Chizuru Kagura. Wealthy manager and couple of the infamous musician Iori Yagami... And the only person who can stand him
"Don't start with that again, Kagura. These idiots started to want to be paid more, were they not pleased with what they were getting?" - Iori
"Iori, you were gaining more than them. You tricked them into firming a contract where you would get paid more than them.. Without telling me. Is a miracle they lasted two months with us." - Chizuru
"Hmph! It doesn't matter anymore, who needs these fools anyway? Is clear we aren't going to rise up again like this, we need some new talent, form a new band that makes them regret having leave us." - Iori
"*Sigh* Well I could always start some auditions, see what kind of musical talent I find. But please, this time let the finances to myself." - Chizuru
"Fine, but you better get some good talent this time, that group of last time were just a bunch of no talent idiots. We need actual talent, people who can know how to make the crowd go nuts. Get me a vocalist, a bass player, someone in the battery and a lastly someone good with the piano." - Iori
"Alright, it shouldn't be hard to assemble a group of people that can do that. Tomorrow I'll start with the preparations for the auditions." - Chizuru
Two days later - Tokyo's Auditorium
"This is going to be a waste of time." - Iori
"Stop being so negative and sit down, you would be surprised by the amount of people that came here today for the auditions when they learned they would get to play with you if they passed." - Chizuru
"Yeah, who wouldn't love to play with Mr. Grouchy Mcgrumpy here." - Says a 14 year old girl of black hair sitting with Chizuru and Iori, this is Maki Kagura. The little sister of Manager Chizuru, always annoying Iori and her sister
"Maki, you also need to stop with that. Iori and our old group just had an argument that didn't ended well." - Chizuru
"Gee, it wouldn't be the first time we have to get a new band because Yagami disolved the old one." - Maki
"*Sigh* Let's just get this over with." - Chizuru
As many auditions take place, Iori and Chizuru start to lose faith in finding any talent that can work with their idea of a new band
*Flute sounds* - A girl of brown hair tied to a braid, yellow shirt and blue shorts is seem playing a flute
"So how it was it?" - Yuri
"That was good Yuri, but I don't think you're the type of person we are searching for and-" - Chizuru
"NEXT!" - Iori interrupts Kagura
"Iori!" - Chizuru reacts annoyed
"I said NEXT!" - Says Iori as the annoyed Yuri sticks her tongue out leaving disappointed
"*Sigh* We are never going to find any suitable candidates like this." - Chizuru puts her head on the desk disappointed
"If it makes you feel better, that girl Kasumi with her harmonica wasn't so bad." - Iori
"That doesn't help." - Chizuru
Meanwhile Maki is just busy playing on her Neo Geo Pocket
"Ok, we have two last ones." - Says Chizuru disappointed just wanting to end with this already
"Hey! My name is Terry Bogard. I came here as soon as I heard you were looking for new musical talent. I have alot of experience in the battery, I came from South Town to Tokyo in order to try to change my economic situation after I broke out with my girlfriend Mary." - Says the blonde young man sporting this red hat
"Oh great, a hobo." - Iori
"Iori, shussh!" - Chizuru
"I see, tell us more about you, Terry. You think you could be a good inclusion to our band? Would you be willing to showcase what can you do with the battery?" - Chizuru
"Sure!" - Terry prepares to play his trusty battery in front of the three
For the surprise of the three, Terry actually puts a good perfomance that makes both Iori and Chizuru have their mouths drop to the ground, even Maki ignores her game for a moment surprised by Terry's perfomance
"So how I was?" - Terry
Iori whispers at Kagura's ear
"Yes, I see." - Chizuru
"You passed! We will be in contact with you!" - Says Chizuru giving Terry this card
"Sweet! Thanks for this opportunity, I really need this job." - Terry leaves the stage with a smile
"Well that leaves one last person for the auditions." - Chizuru
"Who is it." - Iori makes Chizuru be nervous with that question
"I think is someone you probably remember from high school, Iori." - Chizuru
"..." - Iori opens his eyes widely
"You have to be kidding!" - Iori
"Remember that good for nothing brat that always got himself in trouble? To the point he was expulsed?" - Chizuru
"Don't tell me is-" - Iori
"Hello, I guess is my turn now." - Says a young man of brown hair appearing bringing his own guitar
"(My hateful rival from high school, that stupid brat Kyo Kusanagi!)" - Iori
"Well Kyo, tell us more about you and why do you think you could be a good addition to our band?" - Chizuru
"Well life was going good for me, until my parents couldn't understand my passion to see things burned to a crisp and they kicked me out. I tried to get help from my girlfriend Yuki, only to learn she was cheating on me with a friend of mine. So yeah, life has been trash for me. But I do really need the money and music is a secondary passion apart of writing poesy." - Kyo
"So here I am. I hope you three are ready to listen to what I can do." - Kyo
"Go ahead then. Show us what you can do." - Says Chizuru as Iori can't help but be with his arms crossed annoyed
As Kyo starts playing a beautiful melody, the three judges can't help but feel surprised by how well Kyo dominates the guitar. With Chizuru and Maki enjoying the music, while Iori shivers and sweats of anger hating the mere fact past rival has talent for this
"So how it was it?" - Kyo
Chizuru looks at the annoyed Iori who grits his teeth at her signaling with the finger in a negative way
"We will call you if we decide to work with you." - Says Chizuru making Yagami facepalm
"Good! See you around." - Kyo leaves the stages as Chizuru is seem grabing the papers of the auditions
"You have to be kidding me!" - Iori
"Iori, I know you hate him, but we could use another guitarist and you saw how he actually has talent with it." - Chizuru
"I refuse to work with that stupid clown!" - Iori
"Iori, I know you still have a beef with him for what he did to you. I normally would respect your decisions but you better than anyone knows how sometimes we have to bite some bullets." - Chizuru
"Besides if we don't build a new band, the C.Y.S. will just keep burying us in sells and popularity. And there will come to a point where we won't be able to recover." - Chizuru
Thinking deeply about what Kagura had said, Iori sighs with him finally giving up to her ideas
"Fine. The damn brat has talent I admit it. But is-I need a drink." - Iori leaves both sisters
"Well two auditions went right. Now what?" - Maki
"I feel we are missing at least one more member. A singer could help us. But we need someone with a voice that can enchant the public and is able to transmit emotions with her singing... And I think I know who." - Says Chizuru as a idea comes to her mind
Apartment complex - Tokyo - The Next day
A female shadow is seem opening the fridge bringing a big cup of ice cream with the shadow sitting on her big red couch putting on the TV watching a silly romantic movie
"Oh Frederick, I know nothing could ever separate us." - Says the woman in the silly movie the shadow is watching
*Ding Dong* - The Doorbell sounds making the shadow react opening her eyes
"Hmph! A visit? Maybe is the mailman with my fitness machine I ordered." - The female shadow makes her way to the door showcasing her slim body as being a woman in bunny slippers, red shorts and white shirt
"Hello-Oh is you." - The woman's face is revealed as a girl of purple hair with a messy red headband sporting a star on the other side of it. This was fallen idol Athena Asamiya, a J-Pop Idol that once used to be at the top of the charts but that was long time ago, disappearing from the stage to live a more peaceful life
"Hello, Athena. Long time not see you." - Chizuru puts a foot in Athena's apartment noticing Athena was about to close the door
"*Sigh* You want to borrow some sugar again?" - Asks the grumpy Idol
"Nope, I wanted to talk to you about something... A proposition of some sorts." - Chizuru takes a look at the messy apartment of the idol with her looking at the kitchen being a mess and her bedroom having alot of clothes on the ground looking more messy that Iori's room
"(Wow, she really touched the bottom.)" - Chizuru
"What kind of proposition?" - Asks Athena as she eats her ice cream
"How about we talk in a better place. No offense but you could use more sunlight, Athena." - Chizuru
"Whatever. Give me a moment, I'm going to change my clothes." - Athena all grumpy and depressed makes her way to her bedroom as Chizuru takes advantage to eat the ice cream of Athena
"Mine now!" - Chizuru eats the ice cream
Moments later
Athena and Chizuru are seem now sitting in a bar together
"I don't know Chizuru, a band? You think I could still have a career in the music scene?" - Athena
"You had a little fallout, everyone has one once in a while, but we both know it was always your dream to bring smiles to everyone with your songs." - Chizuru
"Don't get me wrong, I do still from time to time think about coming out of retirement but I don't know if I could fit well with Iori and whoever else is going to be in there." - Athena
"I know you have your doubts and I won't pressure you into joining if you don't want but I want to make it clear I would appreciate if you thought this. See it as a chance to start from the ground up again and follow your heart. That's all I'm going to say." - Says Chizuru ending her drink leaving Athena there who certainly looks thoughtful after having heard this words
Chizuru takes a last look at the thoughtful idol from the outside of the bar with her smiling before leaving
The Next Day
As Chizuru and Maki were walking on town
"I can believe you really force me to walk all the way here to this restaurant only for a dumb figure of the Atomic Guy." - Chizuru
"We wouldn't have to walk if someone hadn't crashed the car. Mom and dad would be disappointed if they were to know how much is going to cost to repair it." - Says Maki provoking her sister
"You little br-" - In that moment both sisters heard a peaceful melody of a piano coming from the street next to them, they see the origin of this beautiful melody seeing a strange girl of white clothes playing this piano on the street with a hawk on her shoulder as the people passing by donate coins to the girl with her playing distint melodies in her dusty and dirty piano
"Who is this girl? She looks like someone who got stuck in the 18th century." - Maki
"She is just what we need!" - Chizuru exclaims
Chizuru and the strange girl of the hawk are seem now in Kagura's apartment where she, Maki and Yagami live
"I'm flattered with your hospitality and proposition, Ms. Kagura. But I don't know what to say, a band sounds like being part of something huge." - Says the girl of the name Nakoruru
"It is but trust me. The pay would be good and you wouldn't be forced to live in the streets anymore. I believe your talent shouldn't be stuck in just playing a piano for the bystanders but to be part of something big and to surprise a large crowd with the melodies you produce." - Chizuru
"By the way, what is with this clothes. Are you part of a theater or something?" - Chizuru
"No, this is the clothes from where I come, the Kamui Kotan village. I don't know if I should tell you this, you probably will think I'm crazy." - Nakoruru
"Oh please, there's nothing you could tell me that would make me think that. Go ahead, tell me what is your secret if you want." - Chizuru
"Well, I'm not someone from this era." - Nakoruru
"I came from the 18th century, I was just a young priestess of my village when I went out for a walk in the cold forests nearby." - Nakoruru
"Me and my sister Rimururu were having fun in the snow, when suddenly. I made a jump and I ended up stepping into this frozen lake, I broke the ice and fell on the cold water that day, I thought I was dead as the last thing I remember was thinking I was going to die frozen. But then I woke up being found by a group of people in the pacific ocean. This group of fishermen explained I was found in a block of ice and they during their fishing trip. After being left in japan as my request, I didn't knew what to do and searching through the trash I ended up finding this piano. I have been playing this for two months, my first month was rough but when I finally dominated the piano fully. I managed to get more attention and people like to heard my songs, they think they are very peaceful." - Nakoruru
"And the hawk?" - Chizuru
"Is my long time partner Mamahaha, he fell into the lake with me too." - Nakoruru
"(This has to be a joke, this girl is probably crazy!)" - Chizuru
"(But I can't deny she has talent with that piano of hers.)" - With this in mind Chizuru brings the girl to the recording studio to do some music tests
As the days pass, Chizuru calls out both Terry and Kyo, with Iori and Nakoruru being ready for the first music test of the new band
"Nice to see you here guys." - Chizuru
"Yes, we both are glad we managed to be called." - Terry
"Hey, Yagami! How are you doing!" - Kyo tries to be friendly with the red haired guitarist who is there in the background sitting with Nakoruru, her hawk and Maki
"..." - But Iori doesn't answer looking at him annoyed
"Well since all of you are here, I think we can now finally start with the test-" - Chizuru is surprised as the door is slammed
"Wait just a second, Kagura. You forgot someone." - Says the shadow revealing to be a now well dressed and not depressed looking Athena with a confident smile, sporting a white shirt and red pants
"Phew!" - Kyo whistles upon seeing the now returned Idol
"(I knew you would came after all. You ended up following your heart.)" - Chizuru thinks with a smile as Athena and her greet each other with a hug
"Hello, you must be Terry." - Athena greets Terry Bogard
"Oh I heard about you, is going to be a pleasure working with you." - Terry
"Hello... Kyo-san, right?" - Athena greets Kusanagi who can't help but stare at her with a confident smile
"Just call me Kyo." - Kyo stares with this seductive look at Athena with both becoming static before Athena reacts
"Oh sorry, I have to." - Athena moves to where Iori and Nakoruru are
"(This is getting better and better.)" - Thought Kyo as he sees Athena move to greet Iori and Nakoruru
"Hello, Iori." - Athena
"Asamiya... Fantastic! Well at least your voice will be useful for our songs." - Iori
"(Shameless as always.)" - Athena rolls her eyes hearing that
"Hello you-" - Athena
"I'm Nakoruru from the Kamui Kotan village." - Nakoruru
"Well is a pleasure to meet you, Nak." - Athena
"Nice hawk." - Athena pets the hawk of Nakoruru
"Maki." - Athena turns to look at Maki
"Oh you did showed up, I used to be your fan... When I was ten." - Maki
"Well I always like to bring small gifts to my fans, so I think this will be of your liking." - Says Athena with a smile bringing a small box out of her bag
"What is this?" - Maki
"Open it, I have the feeling you're going to love it." - Athena
"Wow! Is the Ultra Rare variant figure of Space Lunar Princess, with hyper laser eyes! I-I don't know what to say, thanks Athena!" - Maki
"Chizuru told me you were a fan and I used to voice Space Lunar Princess back in season 1. So this was a gift from my manager back there. Is a figure that now is super rare to find and a collectors item. Take care of it." - Athena
"Well now that all of us are here. We can finally start with the first audio tests." - Chizuru goes to the cabin as the five members of the band go inside the cabin to play Iori's last song with
For Chizuru's surprise the first recording exercise ends up better than expected, realizing mixing their talents with the instruments really allowed to create great melodies and as she imagined Athena still had her touch being the singer
"So how it was it?" - Athena and co meet with Chizuru outside of the cabin
"Perfect!" - Chizuru
Athena and the rest celebrate when suddenly
"*Snif* *Snif* Why does it smells like something is burning?" - Terry
Chizuru and co turn behind them only to see Kyo already had started a fire, putting a forniture of the room on flames for his amusement crouching staring at the flame fascinated
"I'm going to kill him!" - Iori is seen being holded by Nakoruru, Terry, Athena and Chizuru from going to strangle Kyo
"*Sigh* This is going to be fun." - Maki
That Night
"So?" - Chizuru and Yagami are seen sitting together watching TV at night, having order the rest of the members to return to their apartments
"So what?" - Iori
"You have to admit I did well in putting together a good band, who knows perhaps this is the best alignment we have had in years?" - Chizuru
"Is still to earlier to decide that, however I'll say that you did well being capable of bringing this group... What is going to be named?" - Iori
"I don't know. We will work on the name tomorrow when we have our debut in a nearby concert. But you have to admit I did work really hard on assembling this new band." - Chizuru acts in a seductive manner with Iori putting her finger on Iori's chin for the lack of interest of this one
"I believe I deserve a little reward." - Chizuru
"What do you want?" - Iori
"You know what I want, how about you and I go to celebrate?" - Chizuru approaches Iori blushing
"No I'm fine. I don't want to get out tonight." - Iori
"But I thought you were a creature of the night?" - Chizuru
"That's only fridays, right now I'm not feeling like doing that." - Iori
"Ok, we can still watch the movie, don't you think is very romantic?" - Chizuru
"I guess." - Iori
"*Sigh* How about a little kiss?" - Chizuru had enough by that point of Yagami ignoring her indirects and just asks for what she wants
"*Sigh* Fine, I guess you can have that after your last work putting this band, but this new group better be able to help us rise again." - Iori
"Don't worry, I think the C.Y.S. band is going to be the one who is buried by us now." - Chizuru starts kissing Yagami's cheeks for this one's annoyance having Kagura almost on top of him not letting him watch the movie
"(You have a cloyingly annoying way to show your affection Kagura!)" - Thinks Yagami touching his cheeks with mark of Kagura's liptick annoyed as Kagura leans her head on his chest hugging him
Some days later
"Where are they?" - Athena
"I don't know. But they said they would arrive first before us." - Says Kyo realizing he, Athena, Nakoruru and Terry were already here but neither Chizuru or Yagami had arrived here
"Isn't that Chizuru's car?" - Terry points a the black car coming
"Yes, that's Ms. Kagura car, she finally got it out from the workshop." - Nakoruru
"Sorry for arriving late, Maki wanted to go eat a hamburger before we arrived here." - Chizuru is visible annoyed
"I told you to leave her with a babysitter." - Iori
"Hey, I'm already old enough to take care of myself!" - Maki
"Maki, you're still a fourteen year old kid, I can't leave you like that... Even if you're really annoying sometimes." - Chizuru
"Is alright, Chizuru. We understand." - Athena
"Yes, me and Terry already talked with the organizer, we are going to be taking the spot in half an hour." - Kyo
"Alright, that sounds good. Remember what we practiced guys, be calm, breath and just do it as we did it in the practice. And things should go well." - Chizuru
"Hmph! Is time to see if there's any future in this." - Iori
"Don't be negative." - Chizuru
"And now debuting tonight as the 7th spot, the one and only Band of Fighters!" - Says the announcer of the event as Kyo, Iori, Terry, Athena and Nakoruru enter in scene
"Hello, Tokyo! Are you ready to have a goodnight! Say hello to our group, because we came to stay. And this is our song... The Song of Fighters!" - Says Athena as Kyo and Iori start up playing with Terry starting playing the battery, while Nakoruru plays the piano building up the rythm
"The day continues Fighting! Fighting!" - Everyone
"as the festival heats up." - Everyone
"it won't be stopped All Right Go! Go!" - Everyone
"Guts and Dreams" - Everyone
"In a real battle when the soul burns." - Kyo
"Sharp your fangs and prepare yourself" - Terry
"Give your heart courage; if you're in a pinch smile." - Athena
"Don't be afraid to restart from the beginning." - Iori
"You don't know what kind of surprises future holds." - Nakoruru
"Ah~~ From here on it's Showtime!" - Athena
"Ah~~ We'll give you support" - Terry
"You're getting closer to that dream than yesterday" - Kyo
"Definately more therefore" - Iori
"It's always a hard work out Tension! Tension!" - Everyone
"We'll be strong fighters together" - Everyone
"Party with no complaints Hey! Hey!" - Everyone
"Guts and Dreams" - Everyone
"Don't always stop right away" - Terry
"Of course you'd win if you wake up ready (Girls: Go!)" - Kyo
"Someday you might get admiration" - Iori
"Make a name for yourself and show the world who you are!" - Nakoruru
"Ah~~ hold your head up high" - Kyo
"Ah~~ Stay lively Come on! (Perfect!)" - Athena
"Ah~~ Hold on if you're lucky" - Terry
"Definitely more therefore" - Kyo and Athena
"Keep on the dream burning!" - Iori and Nakoruru

The song ends with the public going crazy surprising Kagura as the band of fighters bow before walking out of the stage followed by huge cheers
"We love you!" - Some men and women scream
"Athena marry me!" - A man is heard screaming
"Iori! Iori!" - A group of girls are heard screaming
The next day
Chizuru is seen firming two contracts, after finishing firming them, she reunites with the band again
"Good news, guys! The show of last night was a success, our song was the most watched from the last night espectacle. This could be the beginning of something great." - Chizuru
"Hell yeah! We are going to be billonaires!" - Kyo and Terry
"I'm glad people liked our song, Chizuru. We wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you." - Athena
"For once you did something good, Kagura." - Iori
"Count me with, Ms. Kagura. I won't disappoint you." - Nakoruru
"Well then is decided this is the beginning of the carrer for-The Band Of Fighters? Are you sure you want that name?" - Asked Chizuru
"Yes, is the name the announcer from last night gave us, and is the name the people have adopted for us. Why not keeping it?" - Athena
"Sounds good-Wait, what is that smell? It smells like something burning-AH!" - Chizuru is shocked turning around to see Kyo burning a forniture of the studio again
"Kusanagi!" - Iori
"*Sigh*" - Chizuru and Athena can't help but sigh tired seeing Iori going to start another argument with Kyo related to his pyromaniac tendencies
"Yeah this is going to be fun." - Says Maki as Terry and Nakoruru see the scene of Iori and Kyo starting an argument there
