Chapter 112: The Targeted Deck! Luge VS Fukamura
"Please forgive me!" Fukamura entreated Dark Meister. "Even though I am a top executive, I failed to obtain a sample of the curry bread!"
Sabyuas, Bruyea, and Zeyet looked on. Kuyamuya purled.
"B-but! Even though socially withdrawn, I promise to accomplish the true objective…"
Dark Meister had no comment. She'd already given her edict, and there was no need for further amendment.
"Leave it to me! I will bring you the Deck you ordered me to obtain."

A trail of smoke circled above Mutsuba Town. Bolts of dark lightning scattered debris from Mitsuko's 3-Metre suit through the clouds.
She was falling, ambushed by the shape-changing leopard that'd been stalking her. Hiramori, shot down by a hikikomori.
She crashed upon the grounds of Kamijo Gear Company's family mansion, the collision between her statuesque form and the well-kept lawn leaving a very large crater.
"Ah-h! Mitsuko-sama!" Alfred was as afraid for her as he was about the mess he would later have to clean up.
The*Luge neared, as cool and regal as ever.
"Don't let him…take it," Mitsuko told Luge, handing off the item her assailant was after to Epoch's butler before falling unconscious.
Mitsuko was made of hardier stuff. It'd take more than falling out of the sky to keep her down!
All she required was time to heal.
"Zuwijo's Deck?" Luge sounded more curious than concerned.
Yudias had left Zuwijo's Deck in Mitsuko's care after Zuwijo disappeared from existence, convinced her benevolent carriage during the Velgearians' final Duel – joining Dinois to hold Zuwijo up so he could play his last turn – made her an honorary member of the Velgearian corps and the right person to hold it for Zuwijo until his hopeful revival, rather than storing it in the cold vacancy of an unmanned Valvelgear voided of 8.88 million voices.
"I'll be taking that Deck in the name of the Dark Matter Empire!" The leopard landed on its feet and reshaped into a bubble.
"Dark Matter…Empire? Never heard of you."
"I am the greatest shut-in in all of space! To not know who we are…Are you saying you're a bigger shut-in than I am?" The black ball thing couldn't prolong its circular form amid its frustration.
"Then what do you say to a Rush Duel? There's no better way to get to know each other better."
Mitsuko's naïve heart was not the only naïve organ like glass. Ah-h! The dangers in their hearts!
"Hm! You'll be my opponent? I get it! And if I defeat you, I'll get that Deck!"
"Why not? It should be fun, yeah?"
"This has nothing to do with fun! Top executive, Fukamura!"
"The*Luge!"
"GO RUSH!"
"Society avoider strategy number one! As much as possible, never go outside! My turn! THE ULTIMATE SHUT-IN DRAW! First, I set one monster in shadow!"
"In shadow?"
"Would that perhaps mean face-down Defence Position?" Alfred asked while checking on Mitsuko.
"By releasing this one monster, I Advance Summon! Dark Matter Hazardoll!" (Level 5 DARK Galaxy/Effect ATK 1800 DEF 1300)
"Dark Matter Hazardoll?"
"I send the top three cards of my Deck to the Graveyard! Hazardoll's effect activates! Hazardoll transforms into Dark Matter Mist, and I add Dark Matter Lockdoll from the Graveyard to my hand!"
The slender man with a caged black particle for a head became a fallen angel in a flowing shroud.
"Next, I summon Lockdoll!" (Level 3 DARK Galaxy/Effect ATK 800 DEF 1300)
Fukamura's new monster was a marionette with burning green skull, sleeves, and skirt.
"I send Dark Matter Deadyell from my hand to the Graveyard to activate Lockdoll's effect! Lockdoll transforms into Dark Matter Mist, and I draw a card!"
The wraithlike shadow of Deadyell did a cheer outside the field, which culminated in Lockdoll becoming the same monster Hazardoll had.
"Here I go!" Fukamura came out of his shell. "Fusion Summon! From the room you've shut yourself in…Come out, Dark Matter Enigmata!" (Level 9 DARK Galaxy/Fusion/Effect ATK 0 DEF 0)
"Its ATK is 0."
"Ha-hahahahaha! Due to Enigmata's continuous effect, its ATK goes up by the combined original ATK of the monsters used as material!"
"Ggrah…" (ATK 0 ATK ↑ ATK 2600)
"Oh no."
"I set a card and withdraw from society, ending my turn!"
"The Great King's turn! Draw! I'll use Fusion too, okay? I summon two Ray Dragons." (Level 4 WATER Dragon/Normal ATK 1500 DEF 0)
"What?"
"FUSION! Now, within the Great King The*Luge's offensive zone, your chants ring as you call out! Close your eyes, and shuffle with your heart! Close your eyes, and shuffle with your heart! Once you've seen it twice, there's no need to get ahead of yourself! Fusion Summon! Fusion Summon! High Dragon-Type! Double Ray Dragons!" (Level 9 WATER High Dragon/Fusion/Effect/ATK 2800 DEF 1700)
A dragon. Wearing ice blocks from an igloo as pads, snow shovels for ice skates, and clutching two ice skate guards for hockey sticks!
"I summon Dragon Bird. When the only monsters in my Graveyard are Dragon-Type or High Dragon-Type, I can pay 500 Life Points to activate Double Ray Dragons' Multi-Choice effect! With Double Ray Dragons' first effect, Dragon Bird can attack twice this turn!" (Luge LP 4000 ↓ 3500)
"Luge-sama's monster has gotten in gear!" Alfred overdramatized.
"Yes!" Yudias would say if he were here.
"IT'S GOTTEN IN GEAR!"
"Indeed!" Yudias would say if he were here.
"I set a card." Luge set a card. "I attack Dark Matter Enigmata with Double Ray Dragons."
"Gnah!" (Fukamura LP 4000 ↓ 3800)
"Now I attack Fukamura directly with Dragon Bird!" (ATK 800)
"Guughh!" (Fukamura LP 3800 ↓ 3000)
"Then…Dragon Bird attacks directly!"
"Gahhh!" (Fukamura LP 3000 ↓ 2200)
They didn't call him the Great King for nothing.
