So.. this story is placed during the Cell saga so the power levels are fair with all the characters.

His max power level wasn't too op, and dropping him in the Seven Deadly Sins verse with a power level of...

Holy cow- I didn't know that was his current power level-

43.75 Septillion (In perfected Ultra Instinct) seems a bit crude.

The source I found it on might've lied, but another said the same thing.

Just think. 43.75 Septillion against Meliodas's max power of about 1 million. (At the end of the series, in his final form.)
I don't plan to make Melliodas an unimportant support character!

Thanks for listening to my small rant, enjoy!

Ch. 1: Saiyan meets Demon

How?

How is this happening?!

Those were the only thoughts going through Gohan's head as he nimbly navigated the perilous terrain.

In a heart-thumping race against time, he was carrying his diminutive, unconscious father on his back.

Shrinking was in all ways impossible.

So why? Why was his father doing that exact thing, right before his eyes?

I shouldn't be thinking of trivial things.Gohan thought. Not when I have my father to save.

Every step was fraught with peril as he fought to elude his mysterious pursuer's iron grip.

Just when Gohan dared to believe that he had managed to outwit their adversary, a single time-stopping misstep sent the pair hurtling over the edge of a precipice, plunging into the unknown depths below.

Amidst the chaos of their free fall, Gohan's mind raced with desperation, his outstretched hands clawing for a lifeline. In a heart-stopping moment, he crashed onto the rooftop of a teeming, enigmatic tavern, bewildered and disoriented from the sudden turn of events.
The tavern smelt of food and... roasted pig.

"NOO!" A high-pitched voice screeched. "Save me, Elizabeth-chan!"

"Heeheehee." A young, mischievous man laughed.

A thud, a wail, and a "There, there, Hawk-chan." Was all that the bewildered Gohan could make out.

"Awh, you ruin the fun." The young voice sounded again. "Oh hey!" He said, his voice appearing to be coming closer. "An After-Hours freak."

Gohan looked up.

Before him loomed a figure whose expression wavered between annoyance and curiosity, a man with an unmistakable air of authority.

"Do I have to spell it out for you?" He pointed to the sign hanging on the front entrance.

"We. are. closed." He chastised, poking Gohan's forehead with every word."Are you gonna pay for that roof?"

Gohan, still dazed, failed to answer.

After a second or two of thinking he realized something, utter dread overcoming his thoughts.

His father wasn't on his back anymore.

Did he drop him in the fall?

Did the stranger take him captive?

The assumptions flooded his brain like a rapid tsunami.

Was Gohan himself in danger?

Whatever it was... he'd make sure to search for him.

But.. he couldn't feel his chi.

Gohan hoped that it was only because of his strange power blockage.

The only thing he could do was fly. No ki blasts, kiai, Kamehameha blasts, nothing! He couldn't feel the power in his body anymore.

Meliodas tsked. "So you aren't going to pay."

Gohan widened his eyes as the yellow-haired boy regained his attention by unsheathing the sword on his back.
He squeezed his eyes shut as the boy began to bring his sword down upon him.

He didn't have enough time!

Not enough time to counter, dodge, or even block.

What was this immense speed?

All he could do was wait.

and wait.

But nothing came.

He then peeked an eye open to the sound of immense chuckling.

"Gotcha!"

Gohan fully opened his eyes, staring at the boy.

It was then that he'd gotten a good look at him. The boy had messy golden hair and a duo of emerald green eyes that stared straight at him, bearing an ineffable expression.

The clothes he wore were formal and informal at the same time. He was wearing a long-sleeved high-collared white tunic over an undershirt, knee-length pants, and black boots.

Gohan's gaze then shifted towards the sword, only to see that it was a green, dragon-like sword handle with a red crystal eye, bearing a small fragment of silver steel on the end where the sword part should've been. It was then that Gohan realized that this stranger most likely wasn't a threat. Maybe he knew about something.

"Where's my dad?" Gohan tried to add a demanding tone to his voice, but it ended up sounding hoarse.

"Your dad?" Meliodas scratched his head. "I've never even seen you before. I guess I could search for him through his ki, if he has any." He offered.

Gohan knew that this stranger didn't have any intentions to harm him, but he just wanted to be certain.

"How do I know you'll do it? You could lead me to a trap or such. How can I be sure of someone whose name I don't know?" He'd query.

The golden-haired boy thought for a long moment, rubbing his chin.
"Meliodas." He replied simply.

(Author's note: Totally not a reference..)

Meliodas had offered Gohan to sit at a table and eat, immediately making Gohan make a beeline for the bathroom as soon as he tasted his cooking.

"Now, do you want to explain why you crashed into my roof?" He interrogated, sliding his plate aside.

He wasn't going to eat his food- and for good reasons.

Gohan hesitated for a split second. Then he began to tell the story of what had happened.

—- FLASHBACK -

Gohan and Goku had been training in the remote, mist-covered mountains, their sparring echoing through the serene landscape. The air crackled with energy as they honed their combat skills, unaware of the impending danger lurking in the shadows.

As they paused to catch their breath, a chilling presence enveloped them, signaling the arrival of a figure cloaked in darkness. The ominous silhouette of the stranger loomed before them, emanating an aura of malevolence that sent shivers down their spines.

With cunning deception, the mysterious figure cunningly tricked Goku into ingesting a deadly pill, a potent poison designed to incapacitate its victims.

Agonizing pain coursed through Goku's body as he began to shrink uncontrollably, his muscles convulsing as the poison hijacked his system.

Gohan, gripped tight with fear and helplessness, frantically searched for a way to save his father from the harrowing effects of the insidious toxin.

Despite his valiant efforts to carry his diminishing father to safety, their relentless pursuer, a relentless enforcer of the mysterious organization, relentlessly dogged their every step. His malevolent intent manifested in his unwavering pursuit, driving Gohan to the brink of desperation as he struggled to fend off their relentless foe.

The air crackled with tension as Gohan fought to defend his father, the whirring of their adversary's energy attacks adding to the harrowing atmosphere. With every fiber of his being, Gohan pushed past his fear, summoning all his strength and determination to protect his ailing father.

A fierce battle ensued, the remote mountain landscape bearing witness to the intense clash of wills. Gohan's heart pounded with a mixture of dread and determination as he faced the relentless enforcer, his resolve unyielding even as fatigue threatened to overwhelm him.

Amidst the chaos, Gohan's mind raced, desperately seeking a solution to their dire predicament. Time seemed to slow as he frantically assessed the situation, searching for any weakness in their relentless foe. With a surge of determination, Gohan vowed to outwit their pursuer and secure a way to counteract the poisonous effects ravaging his father.

The battle raged on, each moment infused with an unbearable sense of urgency. Gohan's willpower surged as he refused to succumb to the overwhelming despair threatening to consume him. Throughout the tumultuous conflict, a glimmer of hope burned within him, propelling him to persevere in the face of insurmountable odds.

Suddenly, Gohan found himself plummeting down off the rocky edge.

—- Flashback end —-

"I see. What a pickle." Meliodas said, his bantering voice unaffected. "Sate, I'll see if I can trace your father."
He went silent,seeminglyfocusing.

But Gohan could never really tell with this guy.

He would track his father himself, but he couldn't sense any chi.

"Hey." Meliodas turned to look at Gohan, all humor in his expression fading. "Just who is your dad?"

"His name is Son Goku, why?"

"Would your father happen to be evil?" Meliodas said straightforwardly.

"My dad? Evil? Never!" Gohan almost laughed at the question.

"Then why.." The yellow-haired boy clenched his fist, his forehead veins beginning to rise and an intense aura forming around the area. His air flew in different directions, rage painted on his face. "Does he have a malice in his power... one similar to Fraudrin?" He almost choked out the name.

(AN: For those who don't know, Fraudrin is the one who killed Liz, causing Meliodas to become furious and wipe out an entire city.

"Who?" Gohan asked, rising to his feet and backing up warily.

The anger almost instantaneously disappeared from Meliodas's face. "You don't know him?"

Gohan quickly shook his head.

"Alright, then. Guess the only way to find out is to head towards it." Meliodas casually headed to the door as if nothing happened, followed by a reluctant Gohan.

The black-haired boy prepared to fly, while Meliodas began to walk. Meliodas widened his eyes as his feet began to lift into the air without wings, or even a physical sign of him flying.
"Is your magic levitation? Or perhaps Psychic?"

Gohan gave Meliodas a puzzled look. "This is no magic." He said simply.

"Then what is it?" Meliodas asked, slight skepticism edging his tone. "Flying," Gohan answered, not exactly knowing how to answer the question correctly.

"Huh," Meliodas said, not wanting to delve any deeper into this remotely pointless conversation.

He crouched a little, void-black wings arousing out of his back. A hint of seriousness still etched into his tone, but mainly unnoticeable.

"Let's go then."

CHAPTER END

I know, I know.

I ended it at the worst spot.

But on the bright side…

I can almost guarantee a new chapter every week! ALMOST.

Unless I become a rear-end and go on hiatus, things might be different, but I probably won't.

Hunter X Hunter and The Four Knights of the Apocalypse have taught me better.

(BOTH THE AUTHORS ARE/WERE ON HIATUS)

And please tell me what I should fix in my fic!

As it says in my profile,I'm a blooming writer.
