A Japanese Weresheep in Mutsuba Town

There are some forms of alien activity even MIK turns a blind eye to. The truly alien activity between Chupataro and Ohdo Yuhi, for instance.

Chapter 116: I'm a [Insert Blank]!

"Huh? Damamu, what's wrong? Did you get brain freeze?"

"B-b-b-b-b-brain…free-free-free-freeze!"

"Huh?"

"Lai-lai-lai. Cold as a rock but love cold curry, love it, love it, I do."

"I'm the white guitar! You can get me in a set with some jeans!"

"Damamu's always weird, but just got weirder!"

"Yeah, like Rovian…"

"Hahahahahaha!"

"Eat this and get it together, epo!"

"Munch. Br-br-brain fre-fre-freeze! Gojaru! Gojaru! Tsukemen is delicious, de gojaru!"

"Now what's happening?" Yuhi sawed his teeth.

"This is Menjaburo!" Nyandestar's fur stood on end.

"It looks like Damamu becomes someone else every time Damamu gets brain freeze," Manabu offered his observation.

Amid Yudias' boisterous laughter, Yuhi grabbed another bite for Damamu to eat. "All right, let's see if they're the real deal or not!"

"Munch. Brain freeze! Na, na, tuna!"

"I'm a skipjack tuna!"

"NIISANNN!" Manabu threw his arms out and rubbed his head on Damamu-Maguto's costume. "It's my brother, Maguto-niisan, who I left back on Earth!"

"Ha ha! A man shouldn't shed tears for nothing, tuna!"

"Wake up, Manabu-chan! That's not the real Sogetsu Maguto! He doesn't even have a fishy aroma to him!" Nyandestar went to Mutsuba Town on Manabu's face with her paws. "Eat this and change, already!"

"Munch. Brain freeze!"

"It is none other than I! A rich young lady with just as rich an attitude!"

"I'm a parasol!"

"This time's Goha Yuna? Sure. A rich young lady who rents a tiny upstairs office and tried to buy UTS from us for a shiny rock once!"

"It's a very rare ore that has only been found here in Mutsuba Town. I wonder just how much it would be worth on the market? Billions…or trillions?"

Yuhi couldn't believe he fell for that one!

Then again, Yuhi fell for a lot of lies. Occasionally, he let himself fall for them knowing they were lies.

All because…I want to believe.

All because he fell for a person.

"Epo…"

"They must be based on memories of people Damamu's met."

"But why so suddenly?"

"There must be some sort of cause, epo."

"But what should we do? At this rate, Damamu will…"

Off his latest laughter train, Yudias drew upon his military training for the blunt resolution to their problem. "Well, to turn Damamu back…ICED CURRY BREAD!"

"Munch. Brain-brain…free-free-free-freeze!"

"What'll happen next?"

"Please, just go back to normal!"

"I won't let the cheating BLEEP who ruined my space romance take anything from me anymore!"

"Now Damamu is Hiramori Mitsuko?" Nyandestar's whiskers frazzled.

And enclosed in Damamu-Mitsuko's crushing fist was the small, palm-sized, equally starry-eyed, happy-go-lucky form of…

"I'm Zuwijo! It's that part of you, Yudias…Since long ago, I have always –!"

Yudias might've gone the Manabu route and shed tears if this'd happened much sooner, but he could still laugh, as Zuwijo had already been revived.

"Bleep?" Manabu blinked.

"Yes! The cheating BLEEP who wrecked my space romance!"

"C'mon, Damamu! Watch your mouth!" Yuhi was the one issuing the bleeps through Epoch's megaphone. "I'm so mad at Mitsuko right now!"

"AHAHAHA! DICE-NIED! PU-PUKU-PU!"

"Hey, hang on…Weren't all of Damamu's secondary transformations just objects up till now?"

"What, isn't Zuwijo a kind of object?" Manabu opined boorishly. "How many times do you think that Velgearian's been ogled, chemistonya?"

The object of someone's gaze.

Yudias, Mitsuko, Sabyuas, CPT…

Mitsuko, Sabyuas, and CPT, maybe. Yudias didn't view Zuwijo an object.

"Kahahahaha! We must keep giving Damamu iced curry bread until Damamu is Damamu again, do we not?" Yudias wound up another serving to pitch.

Damamu-Mitsuko swallowed the bread in a single gulp, and Damamu-Zuwijo replicated that gulp, swallowing nothing but air. Light frothed under the faux 3-Metre Alien's heels, and she and the imitation Zuwijo both sank into the reconstituting goo.

"Incarcerate the aliens! Deport them this instant!"

"I'm a kotatsu! A kotatsu!"

"Phaser and Tremolo?"

"Free-free-free-free-FREEZE!" They changed again…into Ranran and the MIK building, with Damamu's head in the radar-topped black hat on top of the letters M, I, and K!

"Hello, my cute, cuter, and cutest friends~! Heal me all up with your cuteness! Nanahoshi Ranran, ready to serve!"

"I'm MIK!"

"C-Captain's log, supplemental! That's creepy, epo!"

"They're ALL creepy!"

"Brain freeze!"

"Now, praise me! I'm the Mutsuba heiress, filled to the brim with baseless confidence! Praise me to the max!"

"I'm an excavator!"

"Oh…"

"It got even worse, epo."

"Now that it has come to this, it seems we must knock them out first! Velgear Riva! A tiny eye beam!"

"Ow-ow-ow! Praise me! Praise me!"

"I'm an –! I'm an excavator!" Damamu-EX6 charged forth uncontrollably.

"Epo!"

"How could I be so foolish? I forgot my abilities do not work on Damamu!"

Yuhi got out of the way as Damamu-EX6 smashed into the table, Damamu's Deck getting stuck to Damamu-EX6's head.

"WAHHHHH!"

"The Deck!"

"Wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah wah!" Damamu-EX6 faceplanted over and over.

"Right!"

"Right!"

"To Rush Duel is obviously my right!"

"Do you…wanna Rush Duel?"

"Right! Right! To Rush Duel is obviously my right! Brain freeze!" Damamu-Asaka and Damamu-EX6 liquified, then re-clumped. "Let's Rush Duel! It's my right, y'know?"

"I'm Chupataro! Chupa! Chupa!" Damamu-Chupataro chupa'd from Damamu-Yuhi's shoulder.

"Grrk…My Earthdamar sickness relapsed…" Yuhi felt queasy looking at Damamu's more accurate recreation of him, and especially the parody of Chupataro with the lopsided grin.

"Hahahaha! Yuhi, what will you do?" Yudias was back to laughing at Damamu.

"All right, got it. If I entertain them through a Rush Duel, they'll definitely return to normal. I mean, they were born from me, after all."

Mama layin' down the law.

"Ohdo Yuhi!"

"It's obviously my right! Right! Right!"

"I'm a Duel Disk!" Damamu-Chupataro distorted into the Duel Disk around Damamu-Yuhi's wrist.
