"Deku, do you know why I bought you here?"
He shook his head.
The Police chief pulled out a thin file. "You recall how you stopped All for One and the League of Villains, right?"
He nodded. "Yeah. Is the LoV back?"
"Thankfully no. But there is something else I want you to help with. You see, since the number one spot is open again, villains from all corners of Japan are trying to reach it, even creating some unlikely partnerships. But that's not what I'm talking about right now. Why don't you take a look at this file?"
Izuku opened it, only being greeted with two papers. The first showed the image of a beautiful woman, with "name unknown" next to it.
The paper shared some information. "Not much is known of her for the moment, but she seems to be the leader of a gang of thieves called the Sour Bunch or Sour Gang." A small doodle was on the page, it a smaller and less detailed drawing of her head. "The Sour Bunch's gang sign or insignia. Usually seen on walls or floors. A crew went to investigate these symbols, revealing they connected directly to the Sour Bunch's base/s. The crew revealed they opened two types of doors, codenamed Dark Doors."
Two images of the doors were pasted under the information. One was a simple double door, the golden door reflecting the sun brightly in the printed image. The other was a more complex and fancy design, it purple with purple crystal decorating the insignia and corners of the double doors.
"Everything connected to her and her group are a pink-purple or purple combination with either white or black."
He flipped to the next paper, which held a lot more information. The first image was of a purple human-like creature, possibly a mutant Quirk type, with knight's gear on.
"One of her highest officers, named Attila. He refused to share any further information when captured and interrogated. The Sour Bunch broke him out the same night, and we haven't seen him since."
The next image was fuzzy and greyscale. This one looked similar to Attila, but smaller, rounder, and with a top hat instead of a knight's helmet.
"Bearing a similar resemblance to Attila, a Sour Bunch member that is possibly his sibling. Image taken from the security cameras at the Hosu City Bank."
The third image was even tougher to see. This member looked robotic, almost, from what he could see, and its eyes glew brightly.
"They've been known to use technology to steal. Weather they are fully robotic or cyborgs is unknown. Image taken from the security cameras at Hosu City Bank. The camera shut down shortly after the droid made eye contact."
The next was a side-by-side doodle of the leader and All Might. She practically towered over him. The information compared her to a giant, but also mentioned that she may be able to manipulate her size. There was a close-up of her upper body.
"There seems to be no body between her clothing, but weather this is caused by her Quirk or Quirk backlash is unknown."
The next was an extremely blurry image of what might have been a cat, a green glow coming from its blurred eyes. It looked like it was about to attack the person holding the camera.
"A blurry image taken by one of the officers near a Dark Door. From what is visible, the being is a cat, possibly being the woman's pet. The image was sent with no other message, and we lost contact with the officer right after."
"There's not much on her, is there?"
The Police Chief shook his head, a sad expression in his eyes. "Sadly no, and that's what makes her dangerous. We know nearly nothing about her Quirk, and the fact that officers keep vanishing every time we get close is a bad sign. She might have been in correlation with All for One before he died, as it's assumed she has multiple Quirks. We want you to put a stop to her. And bring her back here for questioning, if you can. But the main goal is to get her and her crew off the streets of Hosu. Do you think you're up for this task?"
Izuku nodded. "Yeah, and I can get some friends I think will be the best for this job."
"Thank you, Deku. Hosu's safety lies in your hands."
Author note: Finally found something I could post until I started working on Two of a Kind again.
Yes, this is connected to my AU, but it's a side story that isn't really important. I'm going to try and go for a different feel here, and try to have Grape interact with Deku better than Dimentio and Olly had in Plus Ultra!.
