'Thought'
Team DRWBY was finally back at the top of the tower, which looked a bit more hellish than the last time they visited, but they didn't back down, didn't show any ounce of fear.
"Are you sure you girl's are ready for this?"
Dante ensured his teammates were truly prepared to continue moving forward
"He Needs To Pay For Everything!"
Blake spoke with great existent rage
"He Needs To Die For Wrecking The Shop!"
Weiss's rage was not contained.
"He Gonna Eat More Than My Knuckles sandwiches!"
Yang's anger was uncontrollable.
"He Needs To Suffer And To Stay In Hell!"
Ruby's rage was too great for her innocence.
"Well then, let's wrap up this crazy party, shall we~"
Dante smirked, very happy to see his teammates so fired up; once everyone was ready, the Devil Hunting Group let themselves be taken up to the sky portal, and into Hell, finally. Once inside, they soon found themselves landing in a flooded area, with some broken ruins surrounding them. The demonic people stood up and looked around.
"... Why's everything so purple and wet?"
This was Ruby's first and only question, before someone tried to sneak attack them and swing their sword at them, which Dante calmly blocked with his Rebellion, and pushed them away. Once this happened, the rest of the teammates quickly pulled out their weapons and got ready to attack the person who tried to harm them.
"Welcome, what do you think after looking at your father's image?"
Standing before Team DRWBY, was Arkham, who wielded the blade called Force Edge and looked a lot more demonic than he had before. Also, when the demon referred to him as 'Father', the RWBY Girls finally understood everything that was happening, although it really didn't change much, since they still saw their leader as a great man.
"It's like staring into a backed up toilet, why do you always stick your nose in other families' business?"
Dante was clearly unhappy with the demon in front of him, and all the things it had put him through.
"Yeah! Did you even realize how many lives you ruined today!"
Blake clenched her weapons tightly, wanting nothing more than to kill this person and finally be done with it.
"You can still talk after seeing THIS?!"
Arkham then began to power up, which caused his entire body to start changing, morphing into a new shape.
"I feel the devil's power overflowing my body, The Power Of Sparda!~"
Arkham finished powering up and transformed into a giant blob/slime monster with legs, claws, and tentacles.
"Oh my freaking god, he became a giant purple blob..."
Weiss felt as if she were going to get sick from seeing such a horrific sight that stood before her.
"God it's so ugly, I need to see something beautiful to forget about what I just saw... Hey~"
After seeing the disgusting thing, Yang took this opportunity to admire something more beautiful in order to erase the memory of the ugly thing; the Devil Hunter teased the blonde by winking at her.
"Oh my god, STOP FLIRTING AND JUST KISS HIM WHEN YOU GET HOME!"
Ruby yelled at her sister and leader in frustration, which caused the two to wear a big smile and have nothing to be ashamed of.
"Well, at leasts this looks suits you better, now then, let's begin our main events~"
Dante stopped playing around as he and the others got ready to beat down this Blob Demon freak.
"Foolish! All Of You! You Can't Defeat The Real Power Of Sparda!"
Arkham then tried to slam his huge, slimy fist down on the team, planning to crush them; however, before the attack could touch them, a sound of slashing could be heard, cutting off the Slime Monster's arm. This surprised everyone, and they looked to see who was responsible for this.
"VERGIL?!"
The RWBY girls were very shocked to see Vergil here, on top of a pillar and saving them; clearly, no one, except maybe Dante, expected him to be there.
"Y-You're actually here..."
Blake was both happy to see him alive and well, and very worried to see him here and now; the Man In Blue huffed and jumped off the pillar, landing/standing in front of everyone.
"Don't misunderstand, I only came here to claim what's rightfully mine."
Vergil spoke in a cold tone, which caused the Hellish Belladonna to flinch and slightly step back.
"And to kill someone who's responsible for all this, and ruining everything."
The hate and rage that Vergil felt were more directed at the Blob, who was in the middle of healing itself.
"Look at you, making a big dramatic entrance and stealing our spotlight."
Dante wore a frown as he laid his sword on his shoulder and narrowed his eyes at his Twin Brother.
"Not to mention what you've done to us?!"
Yang, Ruby, and Weiss couldn't help but glare at the Man in Blue, while their hatred was mostly directed towards the Blob; however, most of their rage was reserved for the Dark Slayer.
"Well, you don't possibly believe that he deserves to be our main event, now do you?"
Vergil clearly did not care how everyone felt about him, as he then aimed his Yamato at the Demon before them.
"Are you... Suggest an alliance?"
Ruby, and the others, were not expecting to hear such words come from the Devil Man who nearly killed them.
"Temporarily, I prefer not to fight two enemies at once, and do not expect this to last when this is over."
Vergil wanted to make sure his intentions were clear and not misunderstood; a certain Younger Twin and Shadow Kitty noticed a hidden undertone in the way the Man In Blue said what he said
"You Think You Can Still Defeat Me, After Having The Power Of Your Father!?"
Arkham yelled and boasted about the 'power' he had, which everyone found annoying.
"You might have the power, but without control, it's useless."
Vergil sheathed his blade and pushed his hair back.
"Besides, let me show you all the real power and might of SPARDA..."
Vergil then lets out a loud yell and activates his Devil Trigger, which startles and shocks the RWBY Girls, as he now looks more demonic and has more power than before; evidence of this is when he places his hand on the handle of his sword, and begins to charge up some energy, before taking his blade out and performing his Judgment Cut, a attack that cuts dimensions and harms the Blob before them, who lets out a roar of pain and falls over.
"Heh, such a show off~"
Dante wore a smirk, which made the Blue Devil huff as he sheathed his sword
"But don't think that we can't do the same~"
Dante then let out his own war cry as he then also activated his Devil Trigger, as he was now in his Red Devil form. He then quickly dashed forward and towards the Demonic Blob, and performed his Million Stab attack, causing the Slime much more pain, though the older twin only wore a small amused expression, as if he had expected this.
"Come On Girl's, We're Not Gonna Be Left Behind Again!~"
What the Demon in Blue did not expect, was the RWBY girls also activating their own Triggers and having their own demonic forms; seeing them have real demon powers surprised him, especially Blake's, who stood out to him, who was clearly much stronger than the last time they had met, and he found this, "attractive".
"LET'S GOOOOOO!~"
Ruby's screaming and the Devil Gals rushing towards the Red Devil to aid him caused the Blue Devil to snap out of it; though, he still looked more disappointed, but quickly ignored the feeling and joined in the fight.
"YOU CANNOT DEFEAT ME, I'M UNTOUCHABLE!"
The Blob roared and started swinging its claws and tentacles all around, but Vergil and Blake took care of that problem by using the Rapid Slash attack to cut off every limb, after that was done, Weiss and Dante, who had Cerberus out, got close enough to freeze the slime demon in place.
"I WILL KILL YOU ALL!"
Arkham slammed onto the ground, causing huge rocks to fall down; the Devil Hunter saw this and pulled out Artemis to blast all the rocks away, protecting everyone, and also giving enough time for the Dark Slayer and the Brawler to rush in, both with gauntlets out, and start unleashing Thousand Punch Combos at the Demon Slime, and ended it with Yang using Satanic Celica to punch it up into the air, and letting Vergil use Beowulf to kick it back down, and to add icing on the cake, Dante pulled out Spiral to power-snipe the Blob, and let the bullet pierce its body and slam it through some pillars, dealing a lot of damage.
"DIE DIE DIE!"
Arkham then sent out some demonic fish into the water and let them head towards the entire group; Dante took this chance to pull out Agni Rudra and performed an attack to send the demon fishes flying in the air and cooking them, and then letting Ruby and Vergil cut them all to pieces, before ending it with Blake opening her shadow mouth and eating everything, much to her joy.
"I WILL NOT LOSE! I CAN NOT LOSE!"
The Blob then raised its remaining arms, and started to summon some flying demons; to which Dante easily dealt with by playing his guitar in an amazing performance, and summoning a large tornado of lightning and bats, killing them all. After that was done, everyone finally decided to end it. Dante pulled out his sword and charged up, Vergil summons his ghost-like swords, which all aimed at the blob. Ruby used her White Black Eyes to enhance the rocket launcher, and Weiss used a bunch of Glyphs that surrounded the Slime Devil, and summons all the Boss Demons they defeated. Blake spreads her shadow all over the Demon Summons to give them weapons and power, and lastly, Yang got behind the Blob, and bear hugged him, while also slowly crushing him.
"NOOOOO!
All Arkham could do was yell, before the entire group launched everything they had at the Demon Blob, causing a very huge explosion, in which the Blonde managed to get out of there at the last second, and landed near the group; they all powered down to their base, wearing tired expressions, though Dante and Vergil seemed fine.
"It Can't Be, It Can Not!"
Arkham, who had managed to survive all that, was now extremely weakened and on the verge of collapsing; seeing this, the RWBY Girls and Dante aimed their guns at him and prepared to finish him off. The blob smacked Ebony out of the Devil Hunter's hand, which was quickly caught by the Dark Slayer as he aims it at the slime.
"I'll try it your way for once."
Vergil, despite not being a fan of firearms, got ready to pull the trigger
"Remember what we used to say?"
Dante asked while wearing a slight smirk, which caused the Man in Blue to sigh; the Twins then got together and aimed.
"JACKPOT!"
Dante Vergil, along with everyone else, fired their guns, and all the bullets hit the Blob, causing him to scream in pain.
"I HAVE THE TRUE POWER OF SPARDA!"
These are the Arkham's final words, before finally breaking down and falling apart, becoming nothing more than slime, just like the others.
"Hmph, not very classy for someone's dying words."
Weiss couldn't help but notice the lame 'final' words their greatest enemy had said before dying.
"I know right, not even a cool 'I'll Be Back' moment."
Yang couldn't help but agree with the Ice Queen, though before anyone could say anything else, the slimy mess dropped the amulets and Force Edge into the portal beneath it. Something Vergil saw and quickly jumped in, Dante sighed and chased after his brother, the Devil Gals would've joined, but were stopped by the Shadow Kitty using her Hellish Shroud to block them.
"No! Don't Follow Them!"
Blake refused to move out of the way and made sure her teammates stayed where they were.
"What Are You Doing, This Is Our Fight To-"
Yang tried to demand what her partner was doing, but was quickly cut off by the Cat Ninja.
"Our fight was with Arkham, he's the true villain here, as for Vergil, it's something much more personal, none of you have any reason to fight him..."
Blake glares at her teammates, causing them to step back.
"... Then why aren't you going?"
Ruby couldn't help but ask, causing the Devil Faunus to sigh.
"... Because our fight is something that can't be solved with violence..."
She then sheathed her weapon and began to walk off.
"Now come on, let's get out of here."
Blake spoke in a very exhausted tone of voice
"What about Dante? We can't just leave him."
She tilted her head and pointed at the portal.
"He'll be fine, I know it, and you know it, the only thing you gotta worry about, is if we should have some pizza ready when he gets out."
Blake shrugged and shook her head, then continued walking towards the exit. The Devil Gals looked at one another, not really sure what to say, before deciding to just follow and put away their weapons. Soon, after falling through the portal, they had all grabbed their amulets, with Vergil also grabbing Force Edge, his twin brother's weapon. Both brothers stood a few feet apart from each other, and they stared down at each other, ready to throw down and fight.
"Tell me Vergil, what are you gonna do after you have all that power?"
Dante asks as he pulls out his Rebellion and aimed it at his Twin Brother.
"... I don't know, I don't have much else besides our Father's power."
Vergil spoke softly, reading his own sword, preparing to fight
"Well there's Blake."
Once Dante said this, his older brother clenched his fist tightly around the handle of the blade.
"I don't need her..."
Vergil spoke coldly, causing his younger brother to frown deeply
"Look, how many time do I have to say this, Me And Her Weren't-"
Dante tried to explain the whole situation, but was cut off by the Man in Blue.
"I Know You Two Weren't Doing Anything!"
Vergil lets out a war cry as he charges towards the Man in Red and swings his sword down at him; both catch the blade with their free hands, struggling to push one another away.
"I Only Said And Did All Those Things So That She Can Hate Me And Leave Me!"
What Virgil said was enough to make the Red Coat Devil go wide-eyed, which distracted him and earned him a kick in the gut, sending him away.
"Why? Didn't you love her? Why would you do this? Your only chance of happiness?"
Dante was beyond confused and couldn't comprehend why the Blue Coat Devil would do such a thing
"She's a weakness for my human side, and stopping me from becoming stronger."
Vergil readies his Force Edge again, preparing for another fight.
"And because of this weakness, I can't kill her to get rid of it, and my only option was to make her resent me, so that she can go away and never see her again."
Vergil spoke lightly, in his eyes, while he regretted everything he had done to her; he knew it had to be done, to gain true power.
"Vergil, Love isn't-"
Dante tried to convince his older brother otherwise, but was stopped when the Dark Slayer entered his Devil Trigger.
"Just... Just fight me already..."
All Virgil could do was nod in understanding, the Devil Hunter letting out a sigh as well before entering his Devil Form and having his Rebellion ready.
"Right, that's how we talk to each other..."
Technically, this isn't their fight, so I thought this was more fitting to let Dante and Vergil battle on their own.
(Plus I felt like Arkham was a better final battle for Team RWBY)
