'Thought'
[Flash Back]
"Do you think it's really ok to do this? It's only been almost a month since met and got to know each other, a-and even then, we only started-"
In a dimly lit room, illuminated by the crescent moon through the open window, we see a shirtless Vergil perched atop Blake Belladonna, who lies pinned beneath him. She wears only her black lace underwear, a shy and embarrassed blush adorning her cheeks as she looks away slightly. Clearly, she is both nervous and uncertain about what is happening; not only is this her first time engaging in such activities, but she isn't sure whether it is appropriate or not. Before she can voice any further doubts or excuses, Vergil uses his hand to gently turn her face towards him.
"You are weak, useless, and lack motivation. Even if you're not Human, you're still the same as them in my eyes."
Vergil spoke in a soft yet harsh tone, while carefully caressing the cheek and rubbing the Cat Ears of the Belladonna; she couldn't help but feel shame and even more doubt after hearing those words.
"But even so, I know you want to become strong, strong enough to never feel regret, never feel lost, and never feel trapped in fate's plans."
Vergil's blue eyes, even though they were still serious-looking and never filled with weakness, showed a hint of softness and sympathy, as if he knew what it was like to be "weak," something the Faunus could see in his own bright amber eyes.
"Y-You want me to become strong?"
Even though she felt embarrassed, Blake shyly asked; she didn't look away from him, no matter how close or dominant he seemed to be.
"I want you to become strong with me."
Vergil gently touched the Cat Girl's forehead with his own, their eyes meeting in a moment of silent understanding and connection.
"... I would like that…"
Blake then reached out one hand to wrap it around his bare back, while using the other to hold his cheek and slowly bring him closer to her lips.
"For now and forever, we belong and grow stronger together, Blake Belladonna…"
[End Flash Back]
The next morning, we saw Blake Belladonna in the middle of sleeping on her bed; she looked peaceful, and very content, as if she had rested well… unfortunately it didn't last as she suddenly woke up from the sound of a very loud vacuum, which her cat instincts made her react by jumping off the bed.
"Oops, sorry Blak-, er, Bureiku? Weiss told me to vacuum the apartment, saying it was to filthy."
Ruby was in the middle of vacuuming, while looking up at the Cat Priest hanging from the ceiling, by using her Shadow Claws. The Shadow Kitty just sighed in annoyance, let go and landed on its feet, trying to walk past or ignore the Devil Huntress, but it was too tired to deal with this. It headed to the kitchen and saw the Ice Queen in there, in the middle of cooking.
"Ah, good morning 'Bureiku', just in time for breakfast."
Weiss smiled calmly, which the Cat Priest found slightly unsettling.
"I can cook for myself-"
Blake tried to walk into the kitchen, no doubt wanting to grab some tuna, but was stopped by Demonic Schnee.
"Sit, a expecting mother should be resting."
Weiss was very firm in her words; the Hellish Belladonna couldn't really refuse if she acted like this, so she just backed off and took a seat on her chair and waited for her meal. A moment later, the Cat Priest arrived with a bunch of plates containing salads, blueberry oatmeal, some scrambled eggs, and a glass of milk.
"... Where's the fish?"
Blake looks up at the Dusty Lady, wearing a confused expression.
"Someone like you should really be careful what they eat, fish has to much mercury in it, this is safe."
Weiss huffed as she bent forward and poked the round belly that belonged to the Preggo Faunus.
"Besides, 'YOU' definitely need something that's actually healthy."
Weiss bluntly stated this, causing her to blush brightly in embarrassment.
"A-Are you trying to imply something?!"
Blake covers or holds her stomach in a subconscious manner.
"I'm just saying, just because your eating two, doesn't mean you need to eat everything."
With that said, Weiss huffs before turning around and walking back to the kitchen to continue cooking for everyone, leaving behind a very frustrated Shadow Kitty.
"... I am healthy..."
After breakfast, Blake took a moment to take a quick shower, to freshen up, then put on her priest outfit, held her Yamato close, and was ready to start the day.
"Credo, Kyrie, it's time to go-"
Blake entered the room, ready to take them to school, but stopped when she saw her children playing and having fun with the blonde doll.
"Remember Credo, don't hesitate, and use full strength on the sword, you control the weapon, you know how it should move~"
While Yang was busy blocking the boy's sword with her hands, she taught him how to swing his weapon better and with more control.
"Thank you for personally training me Miss Yang, mother wouldn't let me train untill I'm older, but I'm glad to be taught by you."
Credo was very appreciative of actually having someone to teach him how to be a Holy Warrior like he had always dreamed of being, even though he knew his mother was also supportive, he could tell that she had tried to convince him to pick something less dangerous.
"Happy to help out kiddo, also Kyrie, having fun with my hair?~"
While Yang continued to teach the Young Lad a few things, the Little Girl was in the middle of brushing and braiding her long golden hair.
"Mhm, I really loved your hair, it reminds me of mother's before she cut it off, I wish she didn't, I would have love to brush it."
Kyrie, while a kind and understanding person, still wished that her mother would be less serious and more relaxed, and it only got worse after the demon attack at their last home.
"I-It's time for school Credo and Kyrie."
Blake's kitty ears drooped sadly; she couldn't help but feel replaced.
"Don't worry Mother, Yin and Red promised to take us."
Kyrie, and her brother, wanted to spend more time with Yang and Ruby, though before their mother could protest, the blonde spoke up and interrupted her.
"Oh! Right, 'Bureiku', 'Tony Redgrave' is gonna be incharged on taking you to the church and protecting you from any demons."
Yang quickly explained as she picked up the kicks with little effort, much to the kid's awe and fascination; no matter how mature they may act, they were still easily amused.
"Tony? Who's Tony?"
Blake was both confused and annoyed; she did not want a stranger in her home, it was bad enough to have her team around.
"Well, since you have a alias, I thought I should have one to."
The voice made the Shadow Kitty turn around and see Dante leaning against the wall, weapons and guns ready to be used and kill.
"Seriously, 'YOU'RE' gonna protect me?!"
Blake was already hating her day even more; first, having her home taken over, being told what to do, feeling replaced, and now she was being treated as someone who was helpless and weak - it was still early morning.
"Don't give me that tone, you know why I'm doing this."
Dante crossed his arms and frowned at her; he knew why she was acting this way—a mix of her own personality, emotional symptoms, and hanging out with his brother before he disappeared. They could change a person, but that didn't mean he was going to take this attitude.
"First, you won't allow me to join this mission that could let me fine Vergil, and now I'm gonna have to be babysat by you!"
Blake was beyond frustrated, enough so for her Shadow to wake up; however, she was quickly silenced when the Red Coat Devil stepped on the shadow, causing it pain, and then pinching the Faunus Priest's nose, making her whine.
"Ok, you need to cut this out, and you need to realize that 'You Are Not Apart Of This Team Anymore', you ran away from this, and I'm respecting your decision by telling you to use your head and realize what you'll lose if you do."
Dante then released his grip on her shadow and nose, causing her to back away and rub her face to ease the pain.
"Also, while I am patient with you, and will never hurt you, you need to remember who you're dealing with, and who you are threatening..."
Dante wore his best serious and stern face; he could express, as the ex-teammate glared back at him, but he could tell she wouldn't do anything.
"Good, and if you behave, I'll buy your favourite Fish Shrimp Pizza you love so much, and we won't tell 'Snowfall' about it~"
Dante wore his friendly smile, still showing that he cared and understood, while the Shadow Kitty huffed and crossed her arms, but accepted his offer with little resistance. With that said and done, both the Devil Hunter and Faunus Priest got ready and just left, heading towards the church.
"... I still don't need to be protected..."
As Blake and Dante left the outskirts of the island of Fortuna, yellow lightning struck the ground, and a blonde woman wearing black leather and sunglasses quickly spotted a man on a motorcycle. She quickly smacked him away and stole/rode away, not caring about what she had done.
"Heh, don't jinx it Kitten~"
