"I'll Be Back! And When I Do, I'll Kill You All!"

A very injured Phantom gets knocked around and back, cracking its shell and exposing some weak areas, letting out a roar of pain and rage. After making such a bold statement, Phantom then opens a lava portal beneath itself, and crawls through it, leaving everyone alone in the throne room.

"What a wimp."

All Yang could say to that was to place her gauntly hands on her hips and shake her head.

"I wonder if we'll ever meet an enemy who can admit they aren't strong enough to fight us?"

She wore a thoughtful expression, as she sheathed and put away her rapier

"「If we did, we would never have epic battle like this one」"

The Crescent Devil replies to the Demonic Schnee's wonder, who nods and accepts that answer; the Corrupted Huntress giggles and pets her weapon like a puppy, before putting it away into her Devil Skin Hoodie.

"Ok Dante, the demon has ran away like a baby, what should we-"

Before Ruby could ask her leader about their next move, she and the others noticed the Corrupted Faunus leaning on the shoulder of the Red Coat Devil, seemingly asleep after the exhausting exploring and having a big meal. The Son of Sparda put a finger on his lips, wanting them to be quiet. The RWBY girl nodded in understanding. The man in red looked at the Corrupted Ice Queen, and did some hand gestures that told her to "make a summon and get Blake off the island." The Master of Dust nodded in understanding; as she carefully and silently made a summoning glyph, after a moment of preparation, she successfully summoned a Wind DUST Hell Vanguard. The Summoned flew towards the sleeping Shadow Kitty, ready to grab and take her away. The Devil Hunting Group wore hopeful expressions as they watched it approach the cat ninja, though before it could, a long black sword stabbed through the Summoned, which at first did nothing, but then shadows began to corrupt the Summoned's body, causing it to scream loudly in agony before disappearing.

"Are we ready to go yet?..."

Blake rubs her hands over her eyes, yawning softly before putting away her Hellish Shroud; everyone groans at the failure of trying to sneakily sending her away, while the team just nods their heads in defeat.

"Good, let's go."

Blake then got back up on her feet, ready to move forward; they had no choice but to follow. Soon, after they left the throne room, they continued their exploration, instantly killing more demons and solving some puzzles in order to get to the next room. The Devilish Rose tried to pretend she wasn't stealing some weapons or magical items, and then ended it with them entering a bedroom, where they started looking around.

"... So Blake, what's your plan after this?"

Ruby decided to ask her ex-teammate, who startedle the corrupted faunus, as she wasn't expecting to be asked a random question.

"After what?"

Blake looked at the Corrupted Silver Eyes, tilting her head in confusion.

"I mean, what if we find Vergil, what will you do?"

Ruby was curious about her Shadow Kitty friend's endgame, and what she hoped to accomplish.

"Well I'll take him home obviously, make him earn my forgiveness, and then we can start over."

Blake answered instantly, and her voice sounded very confident, as if that was going to happen just the way she thought it would; she was even dreaming of the happy and peaceful life she'd get out of it—not doubt, very hopeful.

"... And if he's not here?"

Yang couldn't help but ask as well, which was enough to dash her hopes, as the Hellish Belladonna then looked away, avoiding everyone's gaze.

"Dante, shouldn't we go to the next room?"

Blake quickly tried to dodge the question and change the subject, which made everyone sigh in relief, but decided to move on from this and continue with their mission

"I feel like we're going nowhere, so let's just-"

Before Dante could suggest a plan of action, his sword Alastor began to spark and emit some blue lightning, catching everyone's attention.

"Um, what's wrong with your swor-"

Weiss was about to ask "What's wrong", but was instantly cut off by a big metal hand grabbing her head and instantly throwing her out the window. This made everyone tense up and have their weapons ready as they saw a big demonic knight with a huge sword come out of the mirror. This was Nelo Angelo, and he let out a loud war cry, challenging everyone to a fight, which Ruby and Yang quickly accepted and charged towards this new enemy. Blake had her Hellish Shroud and was about to join, but the red coat devil took out his two great swords and stabbed them into the cat ninja's cloak, making her stuck and struggling to move.

"No, stay here!"

Dante firmly said, which earned him a glare from the Corrupted Faunus. Unfortunately, their little spat was interrupted by the sound of the Demonic Knight throwing the Corrupted Blonde and Silver Eye out the window. That was enough to let the Devil Hunter know that he was needed, as he dashed and tackled the Nelo Angelo out the room and was now outside. The Demonic Knight dropped his sword, but he ignored that as he just went up to the Man In Red, who was also back on his feet, and ready to throw some hands. The two Devils got up to one another and started to have a fist-to-fist fighting, throwing some hooks, kicks, blocking, and dodging. However, soon the Devil Hunter grabbed the enemy's fist and then kicking him away. He then jumped towards the Demonic Knight, planning to slam his foot onto his head, but the Devil Warrior managed to get his sword and swing it at the Son Of Sparda, cutting his stomach, making him cough up blood, and then the Demonic Knight kicked him away and off the edge, making the White Hair Man land near his teammates, who were slowly recovering. Luckily, they were fine and slowly healing up. Nelo Angelo looked down upon them, planning to jump down and finish them off, though before he could, he quickly blocked two long black swords, which came from the Shadow Kitty who had managed to escape and get ready to fight him. Unfortunately, that didn't last long, because once the Demonic Knight blocked the first attack, he used his free hand to grab the Corrupted Faunus by the neck and pin her against the wall.

"BLAKE!"

The Fallen Teammates saw the Cat Ninja in trouble, as they quickly tried to get back up and save her. Nelo Angelo slowly squeezed his hand and crushed the Shadow Kitty's throat, making her choke and struggle to breathe. She grabbed her enemy's hand that was on her neck and tried to pull it off. When Blake did this, the Demonic Knight noticed the ring on her hand and gasped, quickly letting her go, dropping her to the floor. The Cat Ninja got caught by her shadow and tried to breathe again, while catching her breath. She looked up and saw the Nelo Angelo gripping his head and yelling in pain and agony. This confused and worried the Corrupted Faunus. Though before she could say anything, some unknown power came from the sky and smote the Demonic Knight, causing him more pain. This was enough to make the Cat Ninja flinch and wince. Before looking back and seeing the Nelo Angelo being lifted back into the sky and disappearing, the Hellish Belladonna, all she could do was just watch, very confused, and even feeling sorry for the Demonic Knight. She frowned deeply and then looked down at her hands, and looked at her ring she wore. She softly touched it before looking back up to the sky.

'Why does my heart break to hear him in pain?...'
