"Oooh this seems to be my type of place~"

After an hour or two of riding the boat, which they either had fun, relaxed, or suddenly felt sad, perhaps with a hint of demon fishing, the ruined boat finally hit land and stopped, giving everyone a chance to see where they were at this time, which seemed to be some kind of old stone arena or something like that. Yang was the first to comment on the area, jumping off and down the boat.

"I wonder why."

Weiss spoke dryly, clearly not surprised that the Flaming Brawler would want to be here

"I hope we're not gonna perform to some Demon Audience, I'm not prepared to be an actor yet."

Ruby pouts at the thought of being pushed into acting without even being given a chance to read a script or wear makeup. She won't work under those conditions. The son of Sparda shrugs at this. He has nothing to say about any of it. More or less, he's just planning on what to do next. While thinking, a hand belonging to a certain Shadow Kitty is held in front of his face, catching his attention.

"Just take my hand already."

Blake, in a grumpy mood, was actually giving her hand to the Man In Red, knowing that there was no point in resisting anymore, which made him grin and hold it tightly

"Thank you for cooperating Kitten~"

The Hellish Belladonna just huffed at Dante's thanks and was just ready to move forward and continue on with the mission, to which they did. The Devil Hunting Group moved towards the big stone battle arena stadium, which was huge, spacious, and empty inside. They saw no signs of life yet, and all they saw were some destroyed walls, ruined statues, and a big blue demonic symbol at the center of the entire place. They wondered if it was a clue as to where they should go next, but before they could find out, the entire Team RWBY suddenly jumped back and avoided a certain big bird that had crashed landed and nearly crushed them.

"Ah, I was wondering where our audiences were~"

Yang taunts, feeling a bit more fired up to have a chance to fight the Devil Chicken, having her weapons out and getting into a stance, as did the others.

"I have been granted more power from my Master Mundus, enough so to kill you all and get vengeance for my missing leg!"

The Griffin held a grudge against what happened to him, and to prove his anger and newfound power, he opened his mouth and shot a Lightning Blast directly at the Shadow Kitty, whose newfound strength and speed startled her. Belladonna reappeared on the VIP seats of the arena, with a large hole in her cloak and static hair. Not to mention the burn marks on her face.

"Um, Since I Already Fought Him, It's Your Turn To Do It!"

Blake yelled down at them, as she sat down, watching the fight, while trying to fix her hair and clean her face, which confused the Devil Hunting Group. However, they quickly dismissed any questions they may have had as they immediately took advantage of the situation to fight without hesitation.

"Sorry birdy, looks like you're out of luck now~"

Ruby smirks as she pulls out her Crescent Devil weapon, all the while her eyes glow slightly

"Mhm, without the liability, there's no reason to be careful~"

Weiss had an evil smile as she got into a stance, with her Demonic Myrtenaster, Crystallize Leg and her DUST Crystals on her hair turning red, hot, and sharp.

"Finally, I can have some real fun around here~"

Yang wore a smug expression as she had her Satanic Celica out and smashed her fist together, while also making her hair burst into flames. The Demonic Bird just took a step back, a little startled by his enemy's eagerness, something that made the Man In Red noticed and chuckles, while taking out both his Grenade Rifle and Needle Gun and aimed it at the Boss Enemy

"Heh, let's dance, you oversize chicken~..."

Dante wore a mocking grin as he taunted his opponent, which angered the Griffon, as he then flew up to the sky, and let out a loud roar and started shooting Lightning Strikes at the Devil Hunting Group, forcing them to move away and split. The Devil Hunter and Huntress took this chance to shoot at the Demonic Bird, forcing it to fly around in a messy pattern. While the Corrupted Ice Queen took this chance to jump at the hands of the Corrupted Blonde, who quickly used her strength to throw her in the air and towards the Devil Chicken. The Boss Enemy saw this and charged up a Lightning Blast in his mouth, before shooting it at the Demonic Schnee, who aimed her rapier at the electrical attack, and absorbed it all. This shocked the Griffon and didn't have enough time to react to her using her Glyphs to make her appear above the Demonic Bird. She quickly used her now-hammer shaped Crystallized Leg, which was glowing brightly, and slammed it down hard at the Devil's Chicken back. Not only did she use the stored up energy against him, but she also used her Gravity DUST, which had enough power to send the Boss Enemy rocketing towards the ground. The Flaming Brawler had been waiting for this, as she pulled back her fist and delivered a Full Power Heavy Punch at the Griffon's face before he could hit the ground. Sending him towards a wall to crash into and shatter, leaving him very dazed and in pain.

"Sorry, but your flight has been cancelled~"

Ruby winks at the Demonic Bird, before pulling the trigger, shooting the gun and making the blade cut off the entire wing, making it scream in pain and glaring at the Hoodie Girl angrily

"You Unbearable Brat! I'll Have Your Head On A Platter!"

Griffon was beyond upset at the loss of his wings, opening his mouth and preparing for another blast, though before he could fire, the Son Of Sparda jumped over and onto his beak, using his Ifrit to close it and make the attack explode in the Demonic Bird's mouth, smoke came out of its mouth, nose, and ears

"It's rude to show a lady your bad breath~"

Dante mocks the Devil Chicken, before lifting a fist and slamming it on the top of the Boss's head, forcing his feathered face to be buried in the dirt, which made Griffon struggle to get it out, but once his head popped out of the ground, his face was met at the end of the barrel of the Coyote-A shotgun

"Jackpot~"

Dante smirked and fired his gun, while Team DRW(B)Y fought the huge Devil Chicken, the Corrupted Faunus had finally cleaned her face and fixed her hair, so she could focus on what was happening. She saw the Demonic Squad handling things quite well, not really surprising, though she couldn't help but notice the Boss Enemy standing on top of the Devil Symbols, and seemed to be under a statue hanging above him by a chain

"Oh?"

Blake suddenly got an idea, as she quickly pulled out her Hellish Shroud, having it in Flintlock Pistol Mode, and shooting the chain, once it was shot at and broke, the statue was released and dropped. When that happened, the Devil Hunting Group couldn't help but see this and jumped back. Meanwhile, the Demonic Bird only had enough time to look up and see the falling object in wide-eyed shock before it crushed him completely. He coughed up a lot of blood and groaned in extreme pain. The team couldn't help but make a face of this and looked up at the Shadow Kitty, who put away her sword.

"Hey, at least I wasn't part of the fight."

Blake huffed, as she got up and began walking away from the VIP seat, the Devil Hunting Group just shrugged at this, as they had no reason to complain, so they just focused their attention on the one who was struggling to stay alive

"To think... I was beaten by mere mortals..."

Griffith coughs up more blood, pain and embarrassment fill his body

"Yes, I bet you feel pretty ashame huh?~"

Weiss mocked as she sheathed her sword, very pleased to have defeated another boss enemy.

"It's not your fault Demon Birdy, you never stood a chance against us."

Ruby spoke as if she weren't insulting him, but stating simple facts, which didn't make the Demonic Chicken any happier, as he growled and looked up to the sky

"Master! Please Grant Me One Last Surge Of Power! The Power To Finish These Lower Life Forms!"

The Griffon begs to the sky, which makes the Demonic Squad look up and notice three red glowing orbs in the cloudy sky

"Griffon, you have failed me, you are no longer worthy."

The voice of Mundus spoke with such demonic might, which was enough to make the Son Of Sparda tense and the Corrupted Girl's shiver in fear, a feeling that grew when the one known as the Master of Griffon started to smite and kill his servant, which made him scream in agony, something that made the Red Coat Devil frown and the RWBY Lady's gasp in horror, soon the smiting stopped as soon as the Devil Chicken was nothing more than ashes, to which he then started laughing out loudly in such an evil devilish way

"I look forward to seeing you all, I hope your voice of agony will be as loud as Griffon~..."

Once Mundus had said his final words to the team, the red orbs disappeared and the clouds cleared up, leaving them feeling only tense and more serious.

"Hey guy's, look who I ran into!"

The voice of Blake snapped them out of it as they looked down to see the Shadow Kitty walking up to them, and it seemed that Trish had come with her, the Cat Ninja didn't look shaken up or worried, clearly not having seen the appearance of Mundus

"Oh? Did the clouds clear up already?"

I think there's 3 or 4 more chapters left before the DMC1 Arc is done?
