He Took Her Part 2

More of Snow and Charming struggling in Neverland after Hanna is taken and David knowing he's dying of dreamshade.

"Snow, please try to get some sleep."

Snow shook her head. "I can't…how can I sleep when our little girl is out there somewhere. He took her. Who knows what he's doing. What if Pan…"

David took her hands into his. "She's going to be okay. We are going to find her."

"How can you be so sure? David, we lost our girls for 28 years. We could lose them again. We could lose Henry. How are you not terrified right now?''

David sighed. "I am, Snow. I'm scared out of my mind, but I'm not going to let that fear overwhelm me and you can't either."

"We should be searching for them."

"No. We need to get some rest. We'll be no good to anyone if we don't sleep."

"I know. I know you're right, but…David I don't think I can."

David reached out and wiped the tears that fell from her eyes, then wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close. He leaned back against a tree and was relieved when Snow laid her head down on his chest. He laid his head down on hers and the scrape from the poisoned arrow began to hurt. He could tell the dreamshade was already starting to spread. He didn't have the heart to tell her what really happened. He couldn't give her another thing to worry about. David knew he had to be strong for her and the rest of his family.
