Halo, it's time for the newest chapter. Enjoy the reading.

The White Fangs were in serious trouble after the Atlas flagship crashed and exploded because the Atlasian robots shut down and didn't help them, Roman wasn't able to coordinate the attack, Cinder disappeared to get something, she hasn't come back since and Adam completely lost his mind after Blake slipped out of his grasp. Lance, after activating his Semblance, the Grimms headed towards him and not towards Beacon.

The Hunter students had an easier time now that they only had to deal with the White Fang soldiers, who were left without a leader or support. They were confused and didn't know what to do, there was no one to unite them and after they felt that the battle was lost, they began to flee.

Mandy, Derrick and Aaron were no different, their auras were depleted and they had no chance against the approaching Grimm horde and Lance. They boarded the plane Aaron was driving to take them out of Beacon.

- Guys... - Aaron's forehead began to bleed after Lance slashed it with his shield. – I was injured... - He felt dizzy and it became more and more difficult to keep the plane straight.

- Just a scratch, you'll survive! - Derrick assured.

- Take us out! - Mandy ordered.

Aaron went full throttle and the plane flew over the Grimm horde, only to be attacked by the flying creatures.

- These bastards won't let us go! - Aaron was nervous before he opened fire taking down a few flying monsters.

The plane, if it was smoking, was still holding up and Aaron performed several maneuvers, spinning, turning, and flying back and forth to avoid the flying Grimm.

- Wh... where the... f*ck are we?! - Aaron wiped some blood from his eyes but his vision began to blur.

- Be careful! - Derrick yelled after seeing some Atlas soldiers open fire with AA turrets.

- Pull it aside! – Mandy joined in, while Aaron pulled the plane aside and dodged the bullets.

- Was it so dark until now, or was it just... - Aaron felt more and more dizzy and weaker. - Aren't you cold?

- Hold on! - Derrick encouraged. - We'll be safe soon!

The plane also began to slow down as Aaron struggled to keep from passing out.

- Hey, are you still awake?! - Mandy yelled at him.

- What?! - Aaron shook his head and wiped another dose of blood from his eyes. - I can't see well!

- Hold on, - Derrick continued to encourage. – we're almost there!

- There's something… with my eyes, guys! - Aaron wiped the blood from his eyes again but his vision was getting worse.

- Only blood went in them! - It didn't really affect Mandy, she was just focused on escaping.

- And my head... I can't see sh*t!

- Aaron, - Derrick tried to be optimistic but he could see how bad Aaron was. - calm down, everything's fine, just concentrate on driving! - Aaron tried to concentrate but his vision was getting worse and worse because of the nausea.

- He's not in good shape. - It was clear to Mandy too that something was wrong with Aaron.

- I'm…I'm going to die, guys… - You could feel the fear in Aaron's voice. - That guy…when he slashed his shield at me… he must have broken something in my head…

- You're not dying, Aaron! - Derrick tried to push those thoughts away. - You're a clever kid, you get us out, you lie down and you'll be okay!

- Thank you... - Aaron's voice became weaker and weaker, the plane's engine started to stop and the plane started to descend. - that... you're trying to...

- Aaron, - Mandy also noticed this. – I don't want to shout, but we're going down!

- I can't... - Aaron pulled up the plane with a last effort and gave it gas but he could see almost nothing, he was barely conscious and felt that he might pass out at any moment. - see.

After a few loud shots, an explosion was heard from the engine and the plane began to descend rapidly and Aaron could do nothing to stop it. The plane made an emergency landing on a street, Aaron tried to pull it up but in vain, the plane didn't take off again.

Derrick didn't waste any time, he knew they couldn't stay here long, so he immediately got out to see who had shot him. Mandy stayed with Aaron to help him move.

- I can't see... - Aaron waved weakly and Mandy started pulling him to stand up but he couldn't. – I'm blind.

- You aren't blind, only blood went into your eyes. - Mandy took out a rag to wipe away the blood but as soon as she started to wipe it, Aaron didn't move.

Derrick, with his aura drained, began to proceed very cautiously. He saw a group of Hunter kids approaching the plane. He got to know them, it was the team BRNZ but there were only three boys, he didn't see the fourth, the girl.

As the three boys from the team BRNZ, Brawnz, Roy and Nolan, approached the wreckage of the plane, Derrick hid behind a rock and pounced on them. The boys were horrified and confused when the big man came at them out of nowhere with a huge buzzing chainsaw.

The first blow went to Brawnz, who blocked it with his cat's paw hinge, Roy charged at him with his circular saws but Derrick reacted quickly and sent the boy backwards with a strong kick. Nolan tried to knock the man out with his lightning rod but he proved to be faster than he looked and dodged the blow by jumping backwards.

The three boys began to push the faunus man back and it looked like they were winning when Mandy shot an arrow at Brawnz and Roy, draining the two boys of their aura. Nolan was caught by Derrick's chainsaw, causing him to farewell from his aura protection.

Derrick didn't stop and with a quick swing of his chainsaw, he broke one of Roy's saws and severed his head from his body. From the shock that one of their teammates died, the remaining two boys could hardly move and Derrick struck one of them again.

Brawnz was the unlucky one who got the chainsaw in his stomach and blood splattered everywhere. Nolan was absolutely terrified and instead of fighting, he ran for his life.

Derrick sighed and went back to the two youths to make sure they were okay.

Mandy just looked sadly at the two dead boys who could have been her age. She knew that casualties would be inevitable but it shocked her to see their lives ended so simply.

- How's Aaron? – Derrick's voice brought her back from her daze. – Is he okay? – Mandy just shook her head but Derrick went to Aaron, who was still in the pilot's seat, even took his pulse but nothing. Arron was dead. - We have to go on.

The two faunus continued on their way on foot but Mandy kept falling behind because she was still mourning the death of the two boys, Brawnz and Roy, Derrick couldn't help but pushing her.

- Get your feet or you'll stay here! - He said as he began to clear the blood off his chainsaw. - Don't be left behind! - He was forced to speak again after Mandy fell behind again.

Fortunately, they found a car with a dead couple in it, clearly the Grimms had killed them recently. The car was still running, so they could easily get out of town with it.

- Get in, - Derrick instructed as he removed the man's corpse from the driver's seat. – I'll drive. – The big man sat in front of the steering wheel but before Mandy could get in, after taking the woman out a shot rang out and Mandy fell to the ground.

The fourth member of the BRNZ team, the girl May hid behind the car and shot Mandy, who was left without an aura, in the stomach. Derrick immediately got out of the car, turned on his chainsaw and slashed at the girl, who fell and her aura turned off.

Mandy felt only anger and pain, lying on the ground she took out her dagger and threw it into the chest of the girl who was trying to escape, causing her to collapse, dead. As soon as this happened, Mandy immediately regretted what she had done. She didn't want to kill May but she was incredible angry at her for shooting her and seeing her staring at her with her dead eyes almost shocked her at what a terrible thing she had done.

- Hey, are you still alive?! - Derrick immediately went over to help her and put her in the back seat.

- Argh... - As soon as the shock wore off, Mandy was already tormented by physical pain as she received a bullet in her stomach, which was bleeding profusely and prevented her from doing anything. - It hurts so bad, Derrick! - She squeezed her wound tightly and started shouting and crying.

- Don't worry, everything will be fine! - Derrick started the car and driving out of town. Fortunately, the border was already close. - Take my hand! - He reached back and she began to squeeze her hand tightly.

- How could she do that?! - Tears began to flow from Mandy's eyes. - She killed me! - Mandy cried and screamed as Derrick reached back with one hand to comfort her and steered the car with the other on a straight road out of town.

A single careless moment was all it took for a disaster to happen. Little Red managed to blow Neo away with a single button press after opening Hush. The wind blew her towards a bunch of Grimm and at high speed. She couldn't let go of her parasol as the only thing keeping her in the air was Hush.

Neo was soon noticed by the Grimms and they were about to finish her off but Neo didn't give herself without fight. She kicked the first attempter in the head, during the second attack she pulled her whole body up and the monster's body just brushed her bottom. The third attacked from below but Neo was faster than it, closing Hush and using the momentum from the fall to kick the Grimm straight in the head, before leaping off it onto the next one and the one after that.

There was no stopping, for who knows how long she jumped from one Grimm to another, she cut some with Hush' blade but to no avail, they didn't run out. She had two options, either fight until her aura drain and she die or fall into the dark and foggy depths

Neo fell like a tiny little cannonball and fell towards the ground, quickly outpacing the Grimm and once she was far enough away from them, she opened Hush again so she could land safely.

She exhaled, put her hand on her pounding heart, looked around and saw that she had landed in the woods, outside the city. The village where the White Fang has set up its headquarters is a few kilometers away but the forest is still full of the severed tinkers from the Grimm horde. They aren't the strongest specimens but they were enough to make the road very hard.

The girl looked up at the Atlas mothership that was still in the sky, "Hmm, Roman sure beats Little Red." She took out her Scroll and wrote a message.

"Roman, I'm fine, I landed safely. I'm in the forest trying to get to the White Fang's village. I'll wait for you there."

It was a long road filled with Grimm but Neo Semblance was perfect for sneaking past the creatures. Jumping from tree to tree, hiding like a small squirrel, successfully avoiding the Grimm, she knew full well that the village was approaching, although she had to check her Scroll to make sure she was heading in the right direction.

She was sure of two things, one was that she was heading in the right direction but the other was that Roman hadn't answered her message yet and he hadn't even seen it. She wrote another message.

"Roman, did you manage to beat Little Red?"

She waited for a while but nothing, he didn't even see the message.

"He must be busy coordinating the White Fang and doesn't have time to answer," she thought to herself and continued.

After a few minutes, the flagship's control center exploded and the ship began to descend. Neo was scared and looked at his Scroll again. Roman still hasn't replied and still hasn't seen the messages.

"Roman, are you okay?! I saw the explosion! What happened?!"

Neo's heart began to pound and she became more and more afraid as the flagship began to sink and crashed into a mountain range and was destroyed in a huge explosion. Even Neo felt the wave of the explosion. She took out her Scroll again.

"Oh my God, Roman, answer me! Give me a sign that you survived! Do not joke!"

No answer, Neo just stared worriedly at the remains of the burning ship in the distance.

"Relax, Roman must have figured something out, as always. He survives anything," she reassured herself but her heart was still pounding wildly. She looked at his Scroll again, still no message from Roman. Neo wrote again.

"Roman, if this is just a stupid joke, I'll be very angry! Answer me, please!"

Still no response, Neo began to shiver, sitting down on a fallen tree and staring at the Scroll's screen, believing Roman to write to her at any moment. 10 minutes passed and nothing.

"Roman… say something."

"Anything."

"Don't leave me alone."

"Please, you're the only person I love."

"I need you, Roman."

"You're the one thing I have."

Neo didn't even notice how her tears started to flow, when no message was still displayed on the screen and she started sobbing.

Out of grief, she was interrupted by a beeping sound, a sign that he had received a message on her Scroll.

"You didn't think you could get rid of me so easily?" finally, the long-awaited message from Roman. Neo just wiped away her tears and felt a huge relief in her heart that she finally got a message.

"I don't have much time, I got out with a small plane but it was damaged by the explosion and I crashed in the city. I'm fine but I have to get out, to the village where the White Fang hid."

"Shall I pick you up?"

"I'd like you to be safe but I know you. Come to the eastern border of the city and wait for me. If you need help, let me know."

Neo sent a thumbs up emoji and was off. Her heart was filled with hope and relief.

"Roman is alive and well."

The plane shook and threw sparks everywhere, some even caught fire but Roman fought with all his strength to keep the vehicle in the air and not to crash into the ground with its nose. He knew this flight wouldn't last long but he managed to fly over Vale without being attacked or eaten by a Grimm.

The plane quickly lost the height and he couldn't believe that it would stay in the air for long, luckily, it found an open street where he managed to land. He hit the ground with a violent jolt but the plane still skidded down the street, straight into an alley, and finally came to a screeching halt.

Roman exhaled, momentarily relieved that he was no longer in the air but his ordeal wasn't over when the plane sounded the alarm that the fire used as fuel Dust had ignited and was about to explode.

He quickly picked up Melodic Cludgel and his hat and ran out of the wreckage as fast as his legs could carry him but the door wouldn't open, he was stuck. He didn't panic, just grabbed Melodic Cludgel and blasted the door open and quickly jumped out at the last second.

The plane exploded and the shock wave caused Roman to fall to the ground, he felt his hat fall off and dropped Melodic Cludgel but he pulled himself together and put his hand on his forehead and felt himself start to bleed. He stood up, wiped off the blood, put on his hat with the roasted feather, and picked up his cane.

For a while he limped farther and farther away from the burning wreckage. He started to walk out of the alley when a civilian refugee, who had come to see if he could help the survivors of the fall, entered the alley.

Roman grabbed the teenage boy, turned him around and held him in front of him as a shield and he aimed Melodic Cludgel at the two soldiers facing him.

- You don't want me to kill the kid, throw away the weapons! – The soldiers looked at each other for a while, lowered it, and then put the weapon down.

- It's fine, just don't hurt him.

- You won.

Roman kept the boy in front of him for a while and started walking.

- If you turn around, his head will pop! – Roman warned them as he walked past the two disarmed soldiers and as soon as he reached the end of the alley let the boy go and pushed him forward so that he could run away.

He ran down the street but saw a larger group of soldiers approaching him, clearly alerted by the previous two. He didn't have time to beat them, so he broke into one of the buildings to find cover, crouched down and waited for the soldiers to pass in front of the building.

He ducked out and continued on his way out of town. He turned at the end of the street but was blocked by a herd of Grimm who were slowly trudging along. Roman entered another building, through which he can bypass the creatures. He climbed the stairs to the roof and successfully evaded the Grimm horde.

He was approaching the city limits when he came upon a construction site that was empty. He went into one of the stalls, where he sat down for a while, calmed down, took out a cigar to light. As he exhaled the smoke, he felt pleasantly calm and remembered, Neo.

Just as he thought his girlfriend was probably dead, he heard a beep from his Scroll, pulled it out and saw a dozen messages from Neo.

"Roman, I'm fine, I landed safely. I'm in the forest trying to get to the White Fang village. I'll wait for you there."

"Roman, did you manage to beat Little Red?"

"Roman, are you okay?! I saw the explosion! What happened?!".

"Oh my God, Roman, answer me! Give me a sign that you survived! Do not joke!"

"Roman, if this is just a stupid joke, I will be very angry! Answer me, please!"

"Roman… say something."

"Anything."

"Don't leave me alone."

"Please, you're the only person I love."

"I need you, Roman."

"You're the one thing I have."

Roman felt a huge weight fell off his heart when he saw these messages but at the same time he was a little sad because he imagined Neo crying. He can take a lot but seeing Neo's crying, especially because of him was too much for him.

He typed the first sentence that came to mind.

"Didn't you think you could get rid of me so easily?". Neo saw it right away but didn't text for a few seconds, so Roman wrote another message.

"I don't have much time, I got out with a small plane but it was damaged by the explosion and I crashed in the city. I'm fine, but I have to get out, to the village where the White Fang hid."

"Shall I pick you up?"

"I'd like you to be safe, but I know you. Come to the eastern border of the city and wait for me. If you need help, let me know."

Neo sent a thumbs up emoji in response.

Roman stood up with a sigh of relief.

"Neo's alive." was the only thing that reassured him.

He was tired, his head was still buzzing from the explosion and his body was already reaching its limits but he persevered. The city border are only a few streets away and Neo will be waiting for him there. He was only a few streets away from being able to hug Neo again and she would return his lover's hug and kiss her luscious lips, which now meant more than any kind of motivational force. He only had to push over a little more.

Roman stood up, threw away the butt of his cigar and went out into the street but to his bad luck, a group of Atlasian soldiers were patrolling right there and they recognized him immediately. They opened fire and Roman immediately started running in the other direction, with the soldiers closely following him.

Roman pushed aside a group of civilians, who were terrified as soon as they saw him and the soldiers who were chasing him, no one dared to stand in his way and the soldiers ordered everyone aside but didn't dare to shoot, worried they hit a civilian. Roman looked back to survey the soldiers who were getting closer but suddenly he ran into a man who they both fell and Roman's hat fell off.

- What the hell is wrong with you?! – The man stormed out angrily, not recognizing Roman.

- Shut up, you f*cker! - Roman yelled back after standing up and putting on his hat. - Get out of my way! - He continued to run away.

- *sshole! – The man shouted after him but Roman was the least interested by this stranger's words after turning the corner.

He ran away, ran across the road but a sharp sound of a horn hit his ears and he only had seconds to react when a car suddenly braked and head towards him. Roman jumped up, slammed into the windshield, which shattered into cobwebs, then rolled off the hood and onto the ground, his hat falling off again.

He immediately stood up, put on his hat back and pointed Melodic Cludgel at the driver of the car, a terrified civilian woman who let out a scream of terror.

- Get out! - Roman instructed but the woman froze in fear. - I said, - He smashed the car window with Melodic Cludgel's grip. - out! - He grabbed the woman by the neck of her dress and dragged her out of the car through the broken glass.

She screamed as the sharp remains of the broken window glass cut her thigh but Roman didn't let her go, threw her to the ground and opened the car door. Shots rang out, the soldiers caught up him and hiding in the corner, started shooting at him.

Using the car as cover, Roman opened fire with Melodic Cludgel and killed two Atlasian soldiers. The woman crouched behind him, screaming, as he reloaded his cane with a fire of Dust, then shot again, killing a few more soldiers. He got into the car and with full throttle left.

In the rear-view mirror, he saw that one of the Atlasian soldiers had survived, then frantically ran after him.

- Stop you bastard! – He still heard him yelling after him, to which he only pointed his middle finger at him and increased the speed.

As soon as he saw the city border he sighed and calmed down. He began to slow down, stopping to get out and look around. No one was guarding the exit, they were clearly in the southern part of the city to seal off the part where the Grimms had broken in but he thought it was a bit suspicious. He walked a bit and then saw a group of dead soldiers who were probably standing guard here.

A shadow appeared behind him and hugged him and snuggled up to him.

- Hey, Neo. – Roman caressed the girl's arms then slipped out of them to turn around and hug Neo, then kissed her. - I said I'd be fine. - Neo snuggled up to him again and hugged him as hard as she could. - I know I scared you but I really wasn't in a position to write. - Neo just rubbed her face into Roman's jacket and Roman smelled her strawberry and chocolate scent, which had a calming effect on him. - Let's go to the White Fang's hideout. It will be safer there.

Neo finally released him and began examining Roman and his wounds.

- I'm fine, just a few bruises. – They got into the car, Roman drove, Neo sat in the first seat. Neo saw that the feather on Roman's hat was a little burnt, laughed and pointed. - I almost lost it a couple of times but I would never leave it behind, - The girl put her hand on his thigh. - you better keep this in mind. - He took his eyes off the road to look into her multicolored eyes. - I love this hat and you for stealing it from me. - Neo smiled and signed. - You still won't say it?" - She just spread her arms mischievously that she still didn't speak.

- We can work on it.

Roman looked back at the road and soon they reached the village. It was empty, like a ghost town, which is no wonder, since the people of the White Fang had warned the inhabitants to hide, so the Grimms couldn't catch them too. He parked the car at the White Fang headquarters, he got out with Neo but they saw blood at the entrance. Roman prepared Melodic Cludgel, Neo Hush and they opened.

A complete blood bath, blood, entrails and severed limbs were lying everywhere. That was all Adam saw after he settled down and saw no one around him. He killed at least three dozen people in less than 10 minutes, not only Atlasian soldiers but innocent civilians and even his own people.

He was in an office that he had to get out of as he saw the White Fang's men retreating. It was over, the battle was lost, the remaining people of the White Fang fled, some were shot, some were arrested or just eaten by the Grimms. It would have been pointless for him to stay any longer, he wasn't here to babysit them, they knew what they were signing up for and what could happen. He didn't plan to call them together, he gave the retreat order from his Scroll and everyone was left to themselves.

- Stop! - Two Atlasian soldiers burst in and opened fire but Adam jumped aside and hid under a desk.

There he found a terrified office woman who hid from him the whole time. He grabbed her by the hair and pulled her to her feet to use as a shield.

- Please don't hurt me! - He didn't even hear her pleading words, he just looked at the two soldiers, who just pointed their guns at him but didn't dare to shoot, so as not to harm the woman.

- If you don't drop it, - Adam warned them as he pointed Wilt's blade at the woman's throat. - I kill her.

The two soldiers were about to put down their weapons when Adam fired with Blush and finished off the two soldiers in seconds and cut the woman down with his katana.

He easily made it into an alley where a whole platoon of Atlas soldiers came to hear the shots. Adam hid behind a trash can, then as soon as the time came, he jumped out with lightning speed, cut down three soldiers, and shot the fourth one with Blush.

He was shot at again but he pulled a part of Wilt forward and absorbed the shots, returning the shots with Blush and more soldiers were killed.

Too many soldiers blocked the exit of the alley, so he shot through the window of one of the buildings and jumped through it. He continued to run and through the building and managed to bypass the soldiers' closure but he found himself face to face with the resident of the house and in the blink of an eye struck his head.

He made it to the street and started to run but a herd of Grimm stood in its way. It didn't take long for them to attack, with Wilt he started shredding the creatures with lightning speed, which soon evaporated and the way was clear.

He ran into another alley where a few more soldiers were stationed. Adam didn't think, he just attacked them, beheaded one, stabbed the third, and cut the third in two.

He cut through the alley and continued his escape, heading straight for the city border, only to find himself on the main road facing a larger group of Atlasian forces blocking his path. Adam not only didn't panic, he fired first with Blush before the Atlas people returned fire but Adam either dodged or absorbed the force of the projectiles with his katana.

At least 30 soldiers fired at him, all with assault rifles and turrets but Adam absorbed all of their attacks. Wilt started to glow red and then Adam raised it in the air before a very strong wave of red energy swept across the street, killing at least two dozen Atlas soldiers.

Although the Atlas people were severely depleted, they didn't run out and continued to fire at Adam with determination and a thirst for revenge, who, after even more soldiers arrived, couldn't break through here. Adding to his anxiety were two planes that had come here just to stop him.

The two planes opened fire on him, so he had to flee but he could no longer go back, as another horde of Grimm arrived, more and more soldiers came from the front, until the two planes hunted him from above, like an animal, he was closed by the walls of tall buildings on the right he saw the road but he saw an exit on the left.

The entrance to the underground parking lot of a mall. He didn't think much, he started immediately.

The parking garage was like a ghost farm, not a single squeak could be heard until the soldiers came after him from the entrance. Fortunately, he could easily hide among the many empty cars and sneak past the soldiers.

He managed to reach a security room where he found a generator. He shot at him several times with Blush, causing the parking garage lights and power supply to go off and the entire building to be pitch black.

This was a huge advantage for him, since as a faunus he could see perfectly in the dark, he had better hearing and an excellent sense of smell, whereas the human soldiers were forced to use flashlights and then trip over each other in order to move. If he had to run from faunus, he would surely have a hard time.

Adam slowly and quietly began to hunt down his pursuers by stealth, either slitting their throats or stabbing them from behind with Wilt but he was glad that he could use the advantages of being a faunus to kill a few arrogant human soldiers.

He knew he couldn't stay long, so he headed towards the staircase of the plaza to get to the ground floor. After he reached the top, he looked around and saw that a group of refugee civilians were hiding on the ground floor and they all looked at him in horrified silence as soon as they saw him. If White Fang's crested blazer jacket and Grimm mask weren't enough, the blood stains on his clothes and face gave people enough reason to fear.

- Stop! – An Atlasian soldier who was protecting the civilians tried to stop him but Adam cut her down in the blink of an eye.

- Everyone, get out of his way! – A man warned the others and the army of civilians gave way to him in terror, like an anthill and hid.

Some soldiers even tried to stop him but they didn't pose a serious challenge to him, they soon fell prey to Wilt. Adam walked the corridors of the mall as if he were just a simple customer, went behind the counter of a cafe where he saw light because it was powered by a separate generator, took out a teapot, poured water into it, lit one of the stoves and put it to boil. He found some tea filters and put a nice smelling green tea, lemon juice and sugar in the water.

He looked out from behind the counter, some civilians followed him in horror and looked into the store but while Adam waited, he shot Blush in the air to scare them away. He saw a toaster, put two slices of bread in it and turned it on.

After waiting 5 minutes, the two slices of breads were baked, he spread them with butter and garlic, and then the tea was boiled.

He poured himself a cup, sat down, took a sniff and sighed pleasantly. After today he needed a hot cup of tea to calm his nerves and a few bites to give him strength. He drank the tea and ate one of the toasts before pouring himself another cup.

Blake ran away from him but he swore that he would pursue her until the end of the world and destroy everything she loved and everyone she cared about. The blonde girl whose arm he had cut off was one of those when she was injured, she stared at her with the same eyes she had at him a long time ago. She loved her.

He smiled bitterly before looking at the other toast.

"Did she also make a promise to her that she would stay with her forever?"

Blake's broken promise angered him so much that he threw the teacup, which shattered against the wall, as did his heart from her betrayal.

He left the store and headed straight for the floor of the plaza, no one dared to stand in his way and without difficulty he reached the fire escape that led to the roof, but the door was locked. With Blush, he shot the lock and kicked the door open.

A few more soldiers attacked him on the roof but they were no different than the others who had stood in his way so far. On the roof, he saw a plane, which the pilot, after seeing that he had finished with her companions, tried to start it but Adam got there faster, broke the window of the cockpit with his hand, grabbed the woman by the throat and threw her from the roof of the plaza to the street.

He got into the plane, started it and already flew, out of the city, towards the village that the White Fang uses as a base.
