As Santana walks down the hallways of McKinley High School, she spots Quinn and Kitty, two of her closest friends, and rushes over to them, giving them a warm embrace. The three friends chat about their recent experiences, with Santana teasing Quinn and Kitty about their closeness to the former leader of the Glee Club, Will Schuester.
Suddenly, Rachel appears and warmly greets Santana, expressing her delight at seeing her back at school. Santana responds with her characteristic wit, emphasizing her love for singing and performing and explaining that nothing was going to stop her from coming to support her friends in New Directions.
Rachel takes the opportunity to apologize to Santana for her behavior at Glee Club the other day, admitting that some of it was her fault. Santana, in turn, takes responsibility for her actions and apologizes for using foul language in school. She also adds that she won't be going back to Glee Club, as her mother had punished her for her actions.
Rachel expresses her hope that they can be friends someday and that she's no longer seeing Finn. Santana nods in agreement, and then suddenly insults Finn, calling him a "Dumb Ape." Rachel is taken aback by the sudden insult towards her ex-boyfriend and asks Santana to explain
Santana, a former member of the New Directions team, made a derogatory comment about one of her fellow team members. She referred to him as a "dumb Ape" who thinks he's better than everyone else. She also mentioned that her mother had invited everyone to their house to celebrate at 4 pm, but she didn't want the "Ape" to be a part of it.
Rachel, another member of the New Directions team, objected to Santana's exclusion of the "Ape". She reminded Santana that the "Ape" was a crucial member of the team and without him, they wouldn't have come this far in the competition.
However, Santana stood by her previous statement and pointed out that without the three of them, the rest of the team could easily leave New Directions. She accused Rachel and the other team members of letting their egos get in the way. Santana made it clear that she had every right to decide who she wanted to invite to her house, and in her opinion, the "Ape" was not on the guest list.
Santana confronts Kitty and Quinn about their decision to invite Finn to their house. She stands her ground and tells them that Finn is not welcome in their house, despite the fact that they had not consulted her before inviting him. Cassie intervenes and suggests to Santana that if Quinn and Kitty want to invite Finn to the small party, they should be allowed to do so. However, Santana remains firm in her decision and reminds everyone of what happened in Glee Club. She explains that she cannot forgive Finn for his past actions.
Shelby, the coach of Vocal Adrenaline, enters the conversation and Santana is not hesitant to express her feelings to her. She confidently tells Shelby that she does not want to see Finn or Mr. Schue at the celebration. Santana even suggests that Finn should be uninvited from their house. Shelby is understanding and assures Santana that her feelings will be respected. She promises to make sure that Finn will be asked to leave if he upsets her. Santana feels relieved that she will not have to see Mr. Schue at the celebration and thanks Shelby for being understanding. As she leaves the school building with Cassie, she feels a sense of closure and contentment.
Cassie had a lot on her plate once she got back home from sectionals. She had to organize everything for the party that was coming up in a a few hours She was busy making a list of food items, drinks, and considering the preferences of the teenage guests. However, she was facing some trouble as her daughter Santana seemed uninterested and distant from the planning process. Cassie had been trying to engage her daughter, but Santana seemed to be ignoring her. Eventually, Santana asked her mother if she could have her phone back, but Cassie denied her request, which added to Santana's frustration. Feeling upset, Santana went to her room to sulk, leaving Cassie to sort everything out on her own.
Later on, Shelby walked into the house with Kitty and Quinn, and Kitty asked Cassie where Santana was. Cassie replied that Santana was in her room sulking because she refused to give her phone back. Kitty then asked Cassie if she could have her phone back as she had a study group coming up. Cassie denied Kitty's request and informed her that her phone was off-limits for the next three weeks. Kitty groaned in response and stormed out of the room. Quinn left the room to talk to them.
Cassie kissed Shelby and asked her about the rest of her day. Shelby told her how it went and Cassie smiled. They both acknowledged that they have two upset teenagers.
Shelby reassured Cassie that their decision is for the best, and Cassie agreed
Cassie and Shelby were busy putting drinks in the cooler and making finger foods in preparation for their guests' arrival. They placed the dishes on the table and were just about to take a break when the doorbell rang. Quinn, who was upstairs, heard the sound and rushed down to answer the door. She was greeted by Mercedes, followed by Rachel, Kurt, Finn, Brittany, Puck, Lauren, Sam, Tina, and Artie. Shelby and Cassie welcomed them at the entrance and Mercedes thanked them for allowing them to come to their lovely home.
Shelby smiled and replied, "You're welcome, Mercedes." She then turned to Finn and said, "We need to talk to you." Finn nodded, following the two out of the room.
Meanwhile, Quinn led the other guests to the backyard. "San and Kitty will be down soon. They're still mad at them about their phones. By the way, did any of you get into trouble with your parents?" she asked.
Rachel replied, "My dad just gave me a lecture and took my phone. He gave it back to me today for emergencies only."
"My dad just grounded me for a week," Kurt said.
"My mom took my car," Puck added.
"I'm grounded for a week," Mercedes said.
Mike and Tina's parents also gave them a lecture about drinking underage. "I didn't get into much trouble with my mom," Lauren said. "She only told me she's disappointed in me for drinking beer."
"I didn't get into trouble with my parents," Brittany said to her friends.
Kurt then asked Quinn, "What about you?"
"They were disappointed in me and grounded me for a month for lying to them about the party. They took my phone and laptop. I'm not sure how long Kitty is grounded for. She's upstairs in her room," Quinn replied.
In Shelby's office, Finn expressed gratitude that Quinn and Kitty had invited him over, but Shelby was hesitant to allow him to come because he and Santana didn't get along. Cassie then asked why they didn't get along.
"She always hated me ever since Mr. Schue gave Rachel and me the co-captain position of New Directions instead of her and Quinn," Finn explained.
Shelby asked, "Did Mr. Schuester hold auditions for co-captains, or did he just give you two the spot?"
"He just gave us the spot because of our singing abilities," Finn replied.
Cassie interjected, "Everyone on your team has a good voice they bring to the table, and I know you're not telling us the whole truth."
"Finn and I sing well together, and I wouldn't change it one bit," Rachel added.
"Okay, while you're in this house, you're going to treat everyone with respect, and if we find out you upset Santana, we're going to ask you to leave immediately. No boys are allowed on the second floor," Cassie said sternly
Fin, reassure them that they don't have to worry, I will be on my best behavior today," Shelby, nodded in telling him to join the others outside. Fin then left the room to join the others outside.
As Shelby joined the group in the backyard, Cassie commented that she could understand why Tiger didn't like that kid. Shelby agrees.
Quinn and the rest of the group were already sitting down, enjoying the beautiful weather and each other's company. Meanwhile, Kitty went outside to grab a drink from the cooler.
Fifteen minutes later, Santana walked into the backyard, followed by Cassie, and turned on the music. The group continued to enjoy the day, talking, laughing, and having a good time.
Puck walks to the table and spots Santana sitting by herself, looking lost in thought. He approaches her and asks if he can sit beside her and have a private conversation. As they ate a sandwich and a drink, Puck inquires about Santana's return to school, to which she responds that she won't be returning to McKinley High. She explains that her parents have decided to pull her out of the school and transfer her to another. Santana then pleads with Puck to keep this news to himself and not tell anyone, as she doesn't want anyone else to know. Puck reassures Puck notices Santana sitting by the bar in sit beside her having a private conversation as they eat a sandwich. When are you coming back to school? Puck ask her She took a sip of her Punch I'm not returning to McKinley my parents are pulling me out of McKinley high in transferring me to another school . The others doesn't need to know so I need you to promise me you will keep your mouth shut Santana's tells him. your secret is safe with me Puck says that he won't tell a soul and promises to keep her secret safe.
After Puck promised Santana that he would keep her secret about leaving McKinley High School, they joined the rest of their friends inside the house. The group had gathered to celebrate everyone's accomplishments, and a delicious cake had been served. As everyone enjoyed a slice of cake, the atmosphere was lively and cheerful. Santana and Mercedes then decided to sing a duet together, which captivated everyone's attention. Their voices harmonized beautifully, and the performance was truly a treat for the ears. After they finished, Kitty and Quinn took their turn and sang a duet of their own, which was just as impressive. The entire group applauded them.
After singing a few duets together, the group of friends decided to switch to playing Charades for a couple of hours. The game was so much fun that they lost track of time until Kurt's dad came to pick up Finn and Kurt. Rachel decided to leave with Britt when her mom arrived, and the others left five minutes later.
Kitty, Quinn, and Santana were all laying together on the couch, sharing some laughs and talking about the game. Shelby and Cassie came into the room and couldn't help but admire the scene of the three girls laying comfortably on the couch together. They smiled at each other and left the room quietly to let the girls continue their bonding time.
Santana's face lit up with joy as she expressed her happiness to both of them, "I'm really glad that the both of you are staying here for good, and soon you're going to be my sisters!" Quinn and Kitty couldn't help but smile at her excitement, "I can't wait until it becomes official," Quinn chimed in, and Kitty nodded in agreement. The thought of becoming sisters filled them with anticipation and excitement for the future.
As the trio sat comfortably on the couch, they engaged in a lively conversation about a variety of topics. Santana, however, seemed preoccupied with thoughts of her impending transfer to a new school. She couldn't help but feel anxious about being surrounded by unfamiliar faces and different personalities.
Sensing her friend's apprehension, Quinn offered words of comfort and reassurance. "Don't worry, S. You'll be just fine. Shelby and Cassie will be with you at the school, and soon Kitty and I will be there too. We've got your back." She smiled warmly and patted Santana's hand in a show of support.
Santana was clearly frustrated as she spoke in a slightly exasperated tone, "Hopefully, by Monday I will have my phone back." Upon hearing Santana's comment, Kitty couldn't help but let out a chuckle. She then made a comment about how Shelby and Cassie could be equally stubborn as they were. Santana let out a sigh, acknowledging Kitty's statement and agreeing with her that Shelby and Cassie could be quite headstrong at times. After getting ready for bed, the three teenagers headed to Santana's bedroom. The room was cozy and inviting, and they settled down on her comfortable bed. They started playing cards together in a relaxed and cheerful mood, laughing and joking as they went along.
Just as they were getting into the game, Cassie knocked on the door and walked in. "Girls, I wanted to tell you goodnight," she said with a smile. "Don't stay up too late just because it's the weekend. You three are still grounded."
Kitty smiled and reassured Cassie that they wouldn't stay up too long. "It's only 10 pm," she said. Cassie ran her fingers through the girls' hair, and they all settled down for the night, ready to get some rest.
Cassie had a busy day, but she didn't let that stop her from spending quality time with her daughters. As the evening drew to a close, Cassie joined her girls for one more card game. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and love, as they laughed and shared stories. Cassie couldn't help but feel grateful for these special moments with her daughters, and she hugged and kissed each of them goodnight. Shelby, too, made sure to give each girl a goodnight kiss before retiring to her own room. It was a heartwarming end to a fun-filled evening that left Cassie feeling content and blessed. She knew that even though life could be hectic at times, she would always cherish these moments with her family.
