Halo, it's time for the newest chapter. Enjoy the reading.

The riot that broke out in Mantle took serious damage on both the population and the military. The flames of the previous night were still not completely extinguished and the number of arrests increased drastically and the hospitals almost drowned in the suddenly arriving wounded crowd.

By morning, soldiers and robots were patrolling everywhere to prevent another uprising, but you could feel the fear in the air that emanated from the population, the anger that the military presence caused and the hatred that General Ironwood still refused to help Mantle.

- Although the Mantle riots were suppressed, - A reporter was interviewing Robyn. – how does it feel to know that the majority who were part of it are your supporters?

- I don't support the riots and I didn't even give orders for it, - Robyn answered officially. - but the help from our city is refused, despite the difficult times we've already had to go through. But Jacques Schnee's latest move to hold the city as hostage to achieve his own political goals, I understand their anger, but I ask them not to show it on the streets, but in today's election.

- Thank you for your answer, one more question. – The reporter continued the questioning. - Jacques Schnee claims that you're working with the White Fang terror organization, the radical faunus group behind the fall of Beacon and the attack on Haven. Is it true what they say?

- This is just a fake propaganda invented by Jacques Schnee. - Robyn had enough Jacques' stupid, invented propagandas which are broadcasted all over Atlas. - Empty propaganda without evidence.

- Thank you for your time, good luck in the election.

In the Amity arena there was a lot of noise non-stop, the cause of which was the practice of RWBY, JNR, LLMM, FNKI and the Ace Ops, since they had been training hard for weeks and months to become stronger and as the young people got stronger, the Amity Communication Tower was also growing and there wasn't much left to be ready for launch.

Yang and Blake were jumping from one platform to the other while playing catching, Weiss and Winter started another duel. Winter summoned her ice Beowolf and charged at Weiss, but Weiss summoned 4 gravity runes, using which she lifted the ice monster into the air and slashed at one rune, then another.

Weiss summoned another rune with which she prepared to deliver the final blow, but Winter also prepared for another blow, however, something hit her leg with such force that she tripped, dropped to one knee and had no time to protect her ice beast, which then landed behind her and evaporated.

When she angrily looked at what had tripped her, she saw that it was a tiny version of Weiss' ice knight. Winter angrily looked up at her grinning sister, who was able to defeat her Beowolf for the first time.

Jaune and Nora passed a purple ball to each other, but while Jaune was returning the ball with his shield, Nora was jabbing at it with her hammer. Jaune noticed that Weiss was looking at him so he tried to stand in a cool pose after hitting the ball back again, but Nora just decided to prank her teammate, she set her hammer's energy level to maximum and hit the ball back with full force and Jaune had to muster all of his strength and activate the energy shield and gravity dust on his shield to ward off the blow. By the time it was over, some of his aura had drained, but he was still on his feet and the ball had turned to ash but he confidently put his hands on his hips and smiled at Weiss.

- Awesome! - Oscar, checking Jaune's aura level with his Scroll, proudly noted that it had recharged. - You're recovering faster and faster!

Ruby also practiced more and more with her Semblance and turning into a pile of rose petals, she raced across the practice field at incredible speed, but when she almost ran into a pillar, she suddenly changed into three directions and avoided the pillar from three different directions and after she changed back upon reaching the ground, she was shocked to realize, what she was capable of.

- How?! - Lance shook his head behind her in surprise.

- Have you been able to do this before? – Oscar also just saw this for the first time from Ruby.

- I don't know. - Ruby answered panting and scratching the back of her head. - I don't usually think much of it.

- You're improving. – Oscar, although he was proud of his friends, he was clearly disappointed. - But I still don't know my own Semblance.

- It will be more practical than mine. - Lance laughed, then took off his helmet. - Isn't that right, Ruby?

- Yeah, I bet we'll all be jealous when you'll be able to use it.

Mike, who once again activated his Semblance for the umpteenth time, was able to shrink the force field at such an extent that it covered only his own body and was able to ward off the firepower of many guns. That's not all, he was able to create the same force shield around at least two people and extend the entire force field to at least 300 meters.

- Mike?! - Lance, when he saw his teammate after lowering his shield around him, barely recognized him. - Is that you?

- Why do you ask? - Mike didn't understand his friend's confusion.

- Where are the rest of your body? – Ruby also couldn't deal with the fact that Mike had completely lost weight from the many exercises, he had become taller, his double-chin had disappeared and his face was no longer as round as before. His movement also improved a lot, he wasn't so sluggish anymore and he didn't spit out his lungs after running 100 meters.

- Maybe I've lost a few pounds since we've been training here. – The change was imperceptible to Mike, but he took a closer look at himself, he was glad that he was no longer the fat one on the team.

- From now on you are the Slimmed Fat Kid. - Lance came up with a new nickname for him.

- Wow, - Ironwood was seen coming in from the side of the training ground smiling proudly with Clover at his side. - you're training hard. – He looked at the team members and could hardly believe how much they had improved in such a short time.

- Well… - Ruby, as if she doesn't understand why the general is so proud, answered. – we have to do everything we can to make things better.

- They're not doing well, are they? - Ironwood took out his Scroll and projected the result between Jacques and Robyn. 70% of the votes were on Robyn's side, while Jacques only had 30%.

- Rather Robyn than Jacques Schnee. - Yang happily leaned on Oscar, seeing the result.

- I think. - Ironwood wasn't unhappy with the result either. - Either way, this election doesn't ensure our stability.

- I hope Jacques' stupid propaganda will stop after the election. - Lance was hoping for that, no matter how the election ended.

- Isn't there any chance, - Ruby still hadn't gotten over what Robyn and Roman had said on the tundra. – to work with Robyn and get Mantle on our side?

- The chance of that… - Ironwood turned off his Scroll and put it away, but Nora interrupted him.

- You're right! You have to do something for Mantle if you want to win Robyn's trust!

- I'm sure, - Jaune seconded the idea. – if you'd open up to her, she would understand that you're being falsely accused.

- Maybe, - Ironwood just rubbed his forehead. – but this only works if she is also open.

- I guess that's why you're here, - Ren stepped forward purposefully. – to entrust us with a new mission.

- Something like that. - Clover, who had been silent until now, spoke up. - The General and I want you to pull yourself together for the rest of the day.

- Will you give us a night out then? - Blake's eyes lit up and she and Yang looked at each other.

- It's more like an order. - Ironwood nodded with a smile on his face. - After tonight's election, things will change a lot in Atlas. I need you to be rested and ready for whatever tomorrow will bring.

The teams left the arena happy, knowing that now nothing was expected of them, they didn't have to train late into the night and they didn't have to risk their lives to fight Grimm. Tonight they could just relax and rest.

- It'll be good feeling to be in civilian clothes again. - Lance was glad to take off his armor, but kept his sword just in case.

- What do you think, - Mike looked at his roommates, Lance and Oscar, who lived in the room of the LLMM team. - what shall we do?

- Maybe we could go to the cinema. – Oscar suggested, he was happy to be able to move out of the Amity arena and not have to practice with Ironwood today.

- This sounds good! - Mike supported it.

- I'm going to the election with Ruby to meet Robyn. - Lance replied. - But ask JNR and the rest of Team RWBY.

In the JNR team's room, Jaune, Nora and Ren were also preparing for tonight's relaxaton.

- Hey guys, - Lance greeted them. - what are you up to tonight?

- Ren and Nora go with Ruby to Robyn's victory party. - Jaune replied. - I'd rather skip it.

- Do you want to go to the cinema with us? - Oscar asked. - A lot of good movies are playing.

- That sounds better. - Jaune joined in.

The door to Team RWBY's room was open so the boys could look inside.

- Hey, - Jaune said. - Oscar, me and Mike are going to the cinema. Anyone want to… - Jaune hoped Weiss would join them, but before he could address her, she answered.

- Yeah. - Weiss, who was fed up with Yang and Blake constantly romancing in front of others and didn't want to go to Robyn's victory party, preferred to stay with the boys.

- Really?! – Jaune was happy that his girlfriend was with them, but Weiss didn't answer, she just tiredly put her arms around Jaune and started pulling him, followed by Mike and Oscar.

- And you, what are you doing? – Lance stayed in Team RWBY's room.

- Yang and Blake are going to party with the FNKI team, - Ruby explained, showing Yang teaching Blake how to disco dance. – me, Ren and Nora are going to Robyn Hill's victory party.

- Just because Ironwood doesn't like Robyn doesn't mean we have to. - Nora shrugged. - From my perspective, they're both trying to help Atlas. - She crossed her arms in displeasure. - Who does a better job for it... - Nora would have liked to side with Robyn, but she knew that Ironwood's plan was more important in the long run.

- I'm with you. - Lance went with them instead.

- And you don't have to worry, - Ruby was still happy about something. - Penny will be there too for safety.

Although the election was far from over, the people of Mantle were already celebrating in full swing, the town was full of cheering and excited people chanting Robyn's name, honking their horns, throwing firecrackers and getting drunk.

- I understand Weiss' point. - Ren found the noise unpleasant. - A victory party still seems a little early.

- Oh, let them be sure of something. – Nora waved, in recent months the people of Mantle have been hit hard by the fate, which they experienced primarily with Ren, while they were protecting the city and getting to know the population.

- Maybe the last thing, - Ruby was a little nervous about the future. - before the Amity Tower is built and everyone knows why we fight.

- Learning the terrible truth or living happily in innocent ignorance. - Lance just pondered. - Looking from here, it's a difficult decision.

- We spent too much time worrying about how Ironwood will react to the truth about Salem, . Ren was worried about one thing. - but have any of us considered how we might defeat her if we manage to get through it?

- Jinn said she was invincible. - Nora felt uncomfortable about that.

- No, - Ruby corrected. - She told Oz that he couldn't destroy her.

- Roman said, - Lance added. – that invincible doesn't exist.

- Do you think someone else could defeat her? - Nora hoped.

- I don't know. - Ruby lowered her head.

- Me neither. - Lance couldn't have given a better answer either.

- We should train. - Ren was nervous.

- We've trained enough! - Nora told him tiredly but angrily. - We have to make time...

- We don't have time! - Ren cut back impatiently.

- Ren, we need to rest or… - Ren didn't even listen to Lance's words, he just switched to a faster pace and went forward, and Nora followed angrily, leaving the two team captains behind.

Finally, they reached the bar, where Robyn and the people who supported her gathered and together waited for the end of the voting and already started the celebration in advance. Music was playing, everything was decorated, Robyn's posters were hanging on the walls, and a huge crowd had gathered, which included several Atlasian robots, drones, and soldiers, due to the latest riot.

There was a large projector at the end of the bar that showed the vote share between Jacques and Robyn, and Robyn was winning, 64-36, but that margin seemed to be narrowing.

- Ruby, Nora, Ren and Lance?! – Penny peeked out from the crowd, who was very happy to see her friends.

- Hey Penny. - Ruby just waved tiredly.

- What's up? - Lance greeted too, but Nora and Ren were still mad at each other.

- I'm so glad you're here! - Penny was overjoyed to have her friends visit her at work. - It's just Marrow and I tonight. So, - She was hoping to have a little fun. - more friends means more fun. Where are the others?

- Weiss is with the boys, - Nora replied, still upset. – probably with Jaune, Yang and Blake must be in a wardrobe and… 'talking' again.

- At least they're friends again. - Ren added disinterestedly.

- 'Friends', huh?! - Nora found it both ridiculous and infuriating that Ren didn't understand what was going on between Yang and Blake. - Just friends?!

- What else would they be? – Ren asked confused and the conversation with Nora became so serious that they didn't even notice that Ruby and Lance had left them.

- Two people who have been through so much, - Nora narrowed her eyes more and more and looked at Ren individually. - I think there is more in the background.

- Maybe one of them feels that way, - Ren looked to the side for a moment, but quickly returned his gaze to the girl. – but the other one might be worried.

- About what?! – Nora blurted out.

- It's just... - Ren tried to explain. – there are a lot of things going on right now

- Well, how can they figure things out if they don't talk about it?! – Nora didn't let Ren evade the answer this time either.

- I think I'm confused. – Penny just whispered to the tired Ruby and the laughing Lance. - Who are they talking about?

- I'm not sure. - Ruby just shook her head.

- Seriously, - Lance just laughed. - Ren should just get up and kiss Nora. He's so dumb.

- Penny, where did you go?! – Marrow spoke from Penny's radio before she turned to continue her task.

- Wait! - Ruby desperately clung to Penny. - Don't leave me here!

- Can we go with you, Penny? - Lance just pulled Ruby away from Penny and she just nodded and her friends followed her backstage.

- Oh, hey, - Marrow, who was waiting for Penny, turned towards them, but when he saw Lance and Ruby, he didn't look happy. - what are you doing here? - He asked sternly.

- I'm just hanging out here with a friend in the job. - Ruby tried to loosen up as she offered Penny a fist bump.

- Bad idea! - Lance tried to warn her, but Penny, seeing a cathartic opportunity that couldn't be turned back, punched Ruby in the fist, which almost shattered her entire hand.

- Yeah, cute. - Marrow tried to sound serious and official. - Listen, try not to distract her too much. We need to be careful in case…

- In case of what? – Suddenly, May, one of Robyn's Huntresses, appeared next to him.

- Just in case, - Marrow didn't let himself be intimidated and crossed his arms. – if someone tries to cause trouble.

- It's funny, - May glared cheekily. - that's why we're here too. So you can go home.

- Listen, - Marrow snapped nervously. – the general is just trying to help! Just because you don't understand…

- What's going on here, Wags? – Suddenly, Robyn cut in from behind him.

- Little Red, - Roman also appeared at her side and smiled and winked at Ruby, who was annoyed by the fact that she didn't know whose side Roman was on. - we saw each other a long time ago.

- We are concerned about security risks, ma'am. - Marrow clasped his hands behind his back. - The general doesn't want any unpleasant surprises tonight.

May and Joanna exchanged grins, Robyn walked closer to Marrow without a word, only speaking when she was right in front of him.

- Okay, but you'd better stay out of our way. – May and Joanna are surprised that Robyn is allowing the Atlas soldiers to stay. - If I am elected tonight, - She turned to her Huntresses. – we have to learn how to get along with each other. - She finally looked towards Roman. - For all of us. - May just rolled her eyes and left them.

- Of course. - Marrow shrugged and smiled slightly. - We won't cause any trouble. - He crossed his arms. - As long as you obey the law.

- The law isn't perfect, as you know. - Robyn replied after a short pause. - And it's certainly not equal.

- Trust me, - Marrow's gaze hardened. - I know well.

- My only goal is all citizens of Mantle and Atlas have an equal chance for a better life. Even for faunus.

- This sounds good. -Marrow's face softened a little. - And you're doing all this legally, aren't you? – Robyn, Joanna and Roman looked at each other with a comical grin.

- Everything I've done so far has been legal. - Robyn just crossed her arms smugly.

- Yeah, sure. - Marrow felt the mockery, but controlled himself. - One hundred percent.

Suddenly, someone on the stage turned on the microphone to give a speech, and everyone's attention was riveted. It was Fiona who stood awkwardly in front of the crowd to make the announcement.

- Oops, - She laughed nervously. - well... it works.

Joanna and Marrow left each other.

- Get lost kids, - Marrow was upset and tried to shoo Ruby and Lance away. - we have work to do. - He looked at Penny sternly. - Both of us.

By the time Marrow left them, Ruby was still sticking her tongue out at him.

- Very mature. - Lance shook his head and pulled Ruby away from behind the stage, but Penny just laughed at the scene and went back to patrolling.

- Can't we do this another time? - Ren and Nora were still arguing.

- Maybe it would have been better if we went to the cinema too. - Ruby walked towards the stage and bent down.

- We can have a good time, too. - Lance tried to cheer her up.

- I'm not gonna dance with you again! - Ruby snapped at him immediately.

- Calm down, - Lance raised his hands defensively. - that's not what I was thinking about! One of us could die from that!

Then on stage Fiona started her speech to the crowd, who had been chanting Robyn's name until now.

- I wanted to thank everyone who voted today. - She looked around at the assembled crowd, all gathered to support their hero, Robyn. - This is Mantle's moment. - The crowd cheered again. - I know you're as excited as I am to choose Robyn as our voice for Atlas! No one fought harder for Mantle than she did! And... - She suddenly became sensitive and let out a tear. – I know Robyn will continue to fight in the Council. - He turned towards Robyn, who was surrounded by Joanna and Roman.

- Send the cute little lamb, - Roman whispered jokingly in her ear. - you calculating b*tch. – Robyn just rolled her eyes and walked out onto the stage before the crowd started cheering louder. She took the microphone from an excitedly jumping Fiona who then walked off the stage.

- I was never a fan of public speaking. - Robyn scratched the back of her head, feigning nervousness. - Maybe it wasn't a good idea for me to start politics. - She opened with a joke. - Thank you everyone for choosing me. You said you believed in me, but really, I'm the one who believes in all of you. You have proven to me that we are strong individually, but together we are unstoppable. – The crowd started a loud storm of applause. - So, whatever happens tonight, win or lose, we will continue to fight for our city, because this city brought us together. – Her speech ended, the music started again, everyone started celebrating and cheering and Robyn also left the stage.

- Nice speech. – Roman confidently took out a cigar and lit it while pressing his Scroll.

- So, - Robyn just confidently put her hands on her hips. - who wants to assassinate me?

- Huh? – Roman looked up from the Scroll with a puzzled face.

- Don't give away the innocent, Torchwick. – Robyn crossed her arms sternly, May and Joanna joined in threateningly. - You said they won't reveal themselves until election day, and you won't reveal anything until then either. I've been patient since you've helped me a lot, but it's time for you to be honest with me.

- Fine, - Roman took a drag from his cigar. - the situation is... - Roman involuntarily glanced at the result projector and a horrible realization hit his mind.

- The last minutes are left! - Said the announcer. - It looks like the final result will be closer than we expected!

- No! - Roman realized something terrible.

- What now? - Robyn was getting impatient.

- I made a mistake! – Roman took out his Scroll, but before he could press anything on it, Joanna took it out of his hand.

- Robyn asked something!

- Give it back! - Roman angrily tried to retrieve his Scroll, but May and Fiona stood in his way. - You have no idea what's going on here?

- And whose fault is it? - May rolled her eyes.

- Listen, - Roman raised both hands defensively. – I know that I may seem quite suspicious now, but... - Roman almost didn't even look at the Huntresses, only through them, as if he was looking for something.

- Something scared him. – Robyn, she's been working with Roman for two months and she's never seen him so nervous, he's never lost his confidence and he's never shown fear, until now.

For Watts, the time had come to exact his revenge, which was none other than election night. At his suggestion, Jacques tried more methods than stupid and made-up propaganda, closing the Dust shops and laying off as many workers as he could, thereby holding two-thirds of Mantle's population hostage, causing more people to vote for Jacques.

This proved to be an effective method, as Jacques couldn't get the votes of 30 percent of the population with his propaganda for months, but just one day before the election, the mass layoffs and the withdrawal of Dust from Mantle did have an effect and he obtained another 10 percent, but as Watts had guessed, that wasn't enough either.

By getting Jacques' access to the Schnee Dust Company's access codes, he gained access to the entire Atlas system, he was able to monitor the entire city and hack the voting system, which he could use to tamper with the voting percentages.

Of course, he slowly and gradually closed the gap between Robyn and Jacques so that no one would be suspicious. There were several reasons for Jacques to win the election, since then Jacques' access codes would already be obtained by the Council, which would give Watts access to the army and Academy data and Ironwood's plans.

The most critical point was the last one minute of the vote and the latest riot that broke out in Mantle came to fruition, as Ironwood sent several soldiers, including a member of the Ace Ops and Penny, Mantle's Protector, for safety.

- Everyone is where they should be. - He noted to himself. - Are you ready, Tyrion, Neopolitan? - He asked on his radio.

- As always. - Tyrion replied.

"I was born ready," Neo texted.

- The election is about to end! - Someone shouted. – 12, 11,

Roman ran out onto the stage, interrupting the countdown, he quickly looked around the crowd, but in his haste and fear, he didn't see anyone but Ruby's red cloak, but he knew what he had to do.

- IT'S A TRAP! - He shouted into the microphone. – RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!

Ruby then understood that Roman wanted to warn them, but the people looked at each other in horror and confusion, not knowing what was going on.

- RED, FROM THE LEFT! - Roman shouted to Ruby.

- Watch out! – Ruby noticed the person Roman was trying to warn, but then the lights went out and it was pitch black.

A few slashes were heard and death growls joined them, but Ruby couldn't do anything as the crowd of terrified people pushed her back and forth and she fell to the ground. Tyrion slaughtered innocent civilians like a murderous shadow and Roman just watched helplessly, as he couldn't shoot at him with Melodic Cludgel without hurting innocents as well.

A civilian woman ran onto the stage, but Roman didn't notice her until a sharp blade poked out of the corner of his eye and quickly fell onto his back. An eerily familiar pink, white, and brown parasol followed the blade that was about to stab and the civilian woman, short, with long, black hair and simple clothes, but her multi colored eyes were pink and brown. It was Neo.

- Help him! – He heard Robyn's voice behind him, before Fiona blocked another blow from Neo with her battle stick. Neo jumped back and out of nowhere caused by May's invisible field, Joanna jumped forward and struck at her, but Neo used her Semblance and fled, leaving behind a clone that shattered into shards.

- Put down your weapon and surrender! – Penny took out her swords and pointed them at Tyrion, who was still enjoying killing the fleeing civilians, but as soon as he spotted Penny, he blended in the crowd, becoming practically invisible and disappeared from the robot girl's eyes, who looked around confused.

- This is Special Agent Marrow! - Marrow could be heard calling headquarters. - I'm asking for immediate reinforcements!

- Huntresses, to me! - Robyn summoned her Huntresses.

- We have to get you out! - Fiona was the first to go to her, realizing too late that Tyrion was about to strike her from behind.

Bang

Fortunately, a firebomb just hit and knocked the attacker back, who retreated angrily.

- You almost hit her! - Robyn glared at Roman, who fired a shot of Melodic Cludgel at the last moment.

- I just saved you! - Roman stood up and made sure Robyn was okay.

- Robyn! – Penny saw that Tyrion didn't give up, he was just behind her and was about to finish her off. Seeing no other option, Penny threw herself at Robyn, knocking her out of the way. Standing up, Penny began swinging her swords around, looking for Tyrion, but he was nowhere to be found.

- Are you all right?! – Fiona immediately ran to Robyn, who angrily pointed her crossbow at Penny.

The light returned and Penny looked horrified at the dead bodies in the bar that she couldn't protect and lowered her blades.

- And the winner of the Atlas Council election, - The loudspeaker announced the winner of the election. - Jacques Schnee!

- No! - Roman punched the wall angrily, realizing the fact that they had outwitted him.

- It's Ironwood's robot! - A terrified civilian survivor pointed at Penny.

- Penny… - Robyn was still aiming her bow at her.

- It wasn't her! – Roman immediately came to her defense. - She saved your life, - Roman took off his soft hat in frustration. - even I couldn't. - Robyn lowered her bow, but she still didn't know if she could trust Roman or the robot girl.

- I... - Penny didn't even hear, she just looked at the crowd accusing her in shock. - I did not do it.

- Oh, thank you everyone, thank you. – Jacques Schnee appeared on the projector as he gave a speech about his victory. - I can thank you for everything. It's a new day for Atlas. We won! We did it! We won!

- What happened?! - Ren, Nora, and Ruby rushed onto the stage.

- Tyrion and Neo! - Ruby shouted. - They're here!

- Retreat! – They heard Marrow's order, but seeing that the robot girl was in a state of shock, she turned to Ruby. - Take Penny! Now!

- What was that?! – After getting up from the ground, Robyn aimed her bow at Roman.

- I hold it back for a long time. – Roman didn't seem too upset at the sight of the weapon pointed at him. - Let's go to a safe place and I'll tell you what I know.

- It wasn't us, - Marrow, seeing the crowd and Robyn's Huntresses blaming him, wanted to clarify. - I swear. - As Lance and Ren took Penny off the stage, Ruby grabbed her arm and started pulling her.

- Excellent work, Tyrion, Neopolitan. - It was almost too easy a victory for Watts. - I think we're done for today. - He pulled his Scroll from the central computer and uploaded the corresponding footage, which he had morphed to look like Penny had attacked Robyn and killed innocents, onto the Internet.

- Surprising, but the winner, - The announcer began. – head of the SDV Mining Company, Jacques Schnee. At the last moment, the situation turned around and an unexpected victory was born in the person of the leader of the Dust industry.

Ruby, Lance, Ren, Nora, Marrow and Penny fled the scene, but they knew the worst was yet to come.

- Penny, you have to go to Atlas. - Marrow instructed. - Reinforcement is on the way. – Penny didn't answer, she just stared at nothing with a shocked and terrified face. - Penny?

She still didn't answer, just turned on her rocket powered boots and flew off into the night, trailing a green streak behind her.

- Grimms. - Ruby was worried after hearing familiar grunts and screams of terror in the distance.

- We're going to have a long night. – Marrow just sighed tiredly as he took out his weapon.

The alarm went off in Mantle, because the people's dissatisfaction with the choice, the fear caused by the crime that their best knowledge had committed Penny did and drew the Grimm in droves towards Mantle, showing no mercy to anyone who get in their way.
