mmh
Damn, I don't even who I was last night (ooh, ooh, ooh)
There's just somethin' about you (ooh)
You just made me feel, mmh (ooh, ooh, ooh)
(Ooh, ooh) was it good for you?

Mercedes Jones woke up sore in all of the right places. Her best friend Santana Lopez would commend her, throw her a party, and even take shots shouting, "Yes Miss. Wheezy herself has finally gotten rid of the cobwebs. Amen." Santana would be just that crass and happy about Mercedes finally having sex after she had remained celibate for five years after her ex-boyfriend James. It wasn't a decision to stay celibate but she never went out and intentionally looked for sex. However that was until last night. She wouldn't be able to tell you if it was the liquor, the hot beats the D.J. was playing, the confidence that her skin-tight black dress was giving her, or his eyes but it was something about him that was just so damn. Electric.

Ooh, baby
Now I don't know what you did, when you did, what you did
But you did it, girl
See, normally I don't stutter
But you d-d-d-d-do it to me (Silk Sonic)

Samuel Evans had the best night he has had in a long time. A few days ago he was tied down in a relationship with Rachel Berry but he finally told her annoying, snobby ass to kick rocks, and his boys were more than excited for him. His best friend Puck screamed to the rooftops, "There is a God somewhere, Mr. Sam Evans has dumped that trifling whore!" Finally, he had broken away from work and he was able to hit the club. The liquor was flowing the D.J. was playing his favorites and he looked damn good in his all-black attire. Then he saw her, shaking her ample ass on the dance floor, rolling her hips in the groove of the music, and making every guy on the dance floor swoon. They locked eyes and he knew she was going home with him tonight.

Wishin' on a shootin' star, say a prayer for me
And hope it comes true
Ooh-woo-woo-woo (ah, yeah)

He took a shot and walked over to her. Feeling bold he pulled her back towards his front and ground into her. Mercedes looked over her shoulder and saw those eyes and she just let it loose. She matched his movements and guided his hands to cover her midsection as she leaned back against him and let the music use her. They danced, swayed, and forgot about who they were or where they were. Their bodies intertwined with sweat and the single fact that both of them knew that this attraction wouldn't just end with a simple kiss. Both of them knew that they wanted more.

Throw my phone out the window, there's no player in me
Those days are through (those days are over, baby)
Ooh-woo-woo-woo (uh)
Ah-ah, ah-ah (wait a minute now)

Sam made the first move. He whispered in her ear how good she felt on him, how she smelled intoxicating, and how she was the sexiest woman in the room. She smiled at his compliments, blushing even. She told him that he felt good as well but she wasn't sure if he would be able to handle all of her femininity. To which he grabbed her hand and placed it on his growing part and responded he could and he most definitely would if he was given the chance. She bit the inside of her cheek, a habit she had when anxious, she turned and faced him and looked at those eyes. She kissed him and pulled him down to her level so she could really kiss him. They mixed fruit cocktails, shots, and brown liquor. The flavors fuse together making them both want the other more.

you put it on me like I never felt before
(Ooh) that gushy, gushy good, girl, I want some more
(Ooh) sweet, sticky, thick and pretty
You changed the game (what'd you do?)

They took a cab to his place. In the cab trading more kisses than they did secrets wanting the magical feeling of lust to never leave the atmosphere. He pulled her on top of him and kissed her lips, her nose, her cheeks, her ears before he made a trail down to her collar bone. Mercedes moaned lowly as her hands made their way under his shirt needing to feel his skin so she could calm down and not let him have all the fun. She traced her bloody red acrylics across his abs tracing the lines like he was a piece of delicate art that she couldn't have let go of but didn't want to break. His hands grabbed her neck gently as he looked at her. Her brown eyes he wanted to get lost in, she leaned in and kissed swiping her tongue across his lips before gently biting down on it.

After last night
After last night, I think I'm in love with you
(I think I'm in love with you)
Woke up and I can't get you out of my head
(I've tried, I've tried, come on)
After last night, I don't know what to do
(Baby, you've got to tell me)
When I'm gon' see you again
(Ah, suki, suki now)

His apartment was nice but Mercedes could care less about the furniture and color scheme as he kept on moving his nimble fingers across her body trying to rid her of all the clothes she had on. He tugged her dress down admiring her matching set of yellow Savage Fenty before pulling her in again and placing her on the wall. She moved her hands to glide over him as she pulled off his shirt and worked on his pants tugging them down. He grabbed her and picked her up as she wrapped her legs around him and raced to his bedroom slamming the door behind me.

If I still had my phone, I'd call every girl I know
And tell them goodbye
Ah, bye-bye (uh, toodle-doo, ooh)
Cars, clothes, diamonds, and gold
Anything you want, anyplace you want
We'll fly, fly, yeah

They spent the night exploring each other, getting to know each other through their bodies. Finding out what spot made their breaths hitch and what action made the other make a moan or a groan. They only took breaks for water never wanting this night of exploration to end. Their phones buzzed with notifications as they buzzed with the feeling of complete euphoria. Being with each other even though they had no clue on who the other was a feeling neither of them could be prepared for. The kisses turned from quick and power-hungry to slow, and passionate.

you put it on me like I never felt before
(Ooh) that gushy, gushy good, girl, I want some more
(Ooh) sweet, sticky, thick and pretty
You changed the game

By six they were both completely spent but neither of them wanted to close their eyes in the fear that they would have to say goodbye and chalk it up as a good night, hell a great night. So they talked, discussed their interests, their passions, their dreams. Mercedes curled up into his side as she explained to him the deep and complex love of Jimmy "Thunder" Early and Lorrell Robinson from Dreamgirls. Coming up with the theory that though their love was forbidden they sealed their love and hopes for the relationship in the scene where they first make love that is played while Jimmy sings to Lorrell during one of his soulful renditions. Sam explains to Mercedes how art is a way of life. The sculptures, the oil paintings, the intricate drawing all make some sort of story come to life and all it takes is patience and willing hands.

After last night
After last night (woo), I think I'm in love with you
(I think I'm in love with you)
Woke up and I can't get you out of my head
(I've tried, I've tried, come on)
After last night, I don't know what to do
(Baby, you've got to tell me)
When I'm gon' see you again (mm, mm, mm)
(Sock it to me one more time, come on)

Then they discussed their exes. Rachel was a rude, loud, obnoxious, overbearing wannabe Barbra Streisand who believed in image more than she did her love for Sam. She always had something to say to degrade him, be it his artwork, the way his mind worked, or his simple impressions. It wasn't until did he finally catch her in the act with her costar Jessie St. James did he finally break it off. He wasn't upset in the slightest emotion though, he was more than happy, because if he hadn't dumped her then he would have never been able to spend this magical time with Mercedes. Mercedes told him about James. How for the tenure of their relationship everything was fine up until the fifth and final year. How he would always degrade her, and make her feel less than, it wasn't until she found herself throwing up her water and lemon detox did she realize that none of this was ok. So she dumped him, and being with Sam was the first time in a long time did she feel sexy again.

Ah-ya-ya, ah-ya-ya, ah-ya-ya, ooh, yeah (sing)
Ah-ya-ya, ah (Silk Sonic, sing)
Ah-ya-ya, ah-ya-ya, ah-ya-ya, ooh, yeah (uh, here I come, baby)
Ah-ya-ya, ah (here I come, girl, oh-oh, ooh)

They had drifted off to sleep sometime later, and when the sun peeked in from the window Mercedes stirred first. She stared at the hunk of the man in front of her and thought about how nice it felt to wake up next to him in the morning, and how nice he felt when they were intimate. He was gentle when need is and aggressive when need be. He was the perfect lover. She didn't want their fun to end yet because After Last Night Mercedes was sure that she didn't want to be anyone else other than him.

I think I'm in love with you (I think I, I think I'm in love with you)
Woke up and I can't get you out of my head
(I woke up this mornin' and you're runnin' through my mind, baby)
After last night (after last night, baby), I don't know what to do
(Oh, you got to, got to tell me)
When I'm gon' see you again (ah, yeah, baba)
