Everything turned out mostly smooth for Cody, sure there were a few people of Cody's town that were still staying in eternal torment, but it was, unfortunately, their own downfall.
Once someone thinks about it, the prison they are suffering is within their own minds.
Alas, there were more important things to worry about for the human boy. Things that involved going on his date with Misty, his new Hellhound girlfriend. While they are going out now, it was still kind of a surprise that Cody got a cool girlfriend like this, and in a good way of course. At the apartment door, came a knock and Cody answered, just as he expected, it was Misty herself, looking a little sheepish.
"Hi Cody." Misty raised her right hand with a small wave to her boyfriend. "I wanted to know if you wanted to go out for lunch with me." She looked a little sheepish after proposing it. "What do you say?"
"Sure." Cody said. "I was thinking we go on a date too,"
Misty smiled hearing that. "Fucking A!" she said. "Where do you wanna go for lunch today?"
"Where do you want to eat?" Cody asked her in reply
"No, i asked you first." Misty smirked
Thinking about this, Cody had a bit of a hard time deciding on where he and his girlfriend should go for their little... romantic time together as kids. "Maybe we can go to-"
"Pardon me." said a suave male voice. The air suddenly became a little cold and there was Stolas' arrogant and snooty brother-in-law, Andrealphus, walking up to the kids in a regal manner, since he too is a Goetia. "There you are, my dear friends. I hope i am not intruding on anything important."
"Andrealphus?" said Cody
"The one and only. Always a pleasure to see you, Cody. As always." said Andrealphus, hugging the boy, making him uncomfortable. Though his fur vest felt nice and he felt warm, it didn't make Cody very comfortable either way, then he felt the peacock demon let him go.
"Oh no." said Loona in disdain, not sounding happy to see the peacock Goetia. "You're not gonna freeze them, are you?"
"What? Of course not, my mongrel friend." said Andrealphus. "Where would you get such a wicked idea?"
"Because you are Stella's big brother maybe?" The female hellhound pointed. "Doesn't her trying to kill Cody ring a fucking bell?"
"But i had no part in it. I was not even there, Loona."
"OK, Ok, just... what do you want, your highness?" Blitzo intervened.
"What I want, my dear Blitzo, is to help these two puppies have the best romantic date together possible." Said Andrealphus.
"But... I thought you hated me and Loona and everyone else, and poor people?" Cody pointed
"Well... I don't hate poor people." The marquis clarified, pulling out a cold drink. "I just see them as... cattle, that's all. And of course I do not hate you. I know very well that it wasn't you that killed my dear sister, but Stolas. After all, I was there in helping you in fighting those fucking maniacal religious vermin when they thought you were the Antichrist."
"Yeah, I remember that." said Cody.
"I can assure you that there is no bad blood between you and me."
"Well what can you do to... make our date more romantic, Andrealphus?" Asked Misty before having her lips silenced by the marquis' mouth.
"That is lord Andrealphus to you, little girl. Know your place. Know your superiors and respect them." He began sounding like a strict parent scolding his children for bad behavior now.
"Oh, I can't your name informally, but it's ok for Cody?" Misty raised her right eyebrow
"Yes, because he has known Stolas and Via for a considerable amount of time, and I barely know you at all."
"Fair enough." Misty rolled her eyes.
"Well Andrealphus, me and Misty were about to head to Blood Burger." Cody clarified.
"That horrid eating establishment with peasant dishes and greasy filth they call food?" Said the peacock demon in disgust "no, no, no, no, no. What you and Misty need is a restaurant with the highest prestige that many cannot afford."
"But I can't afford a fancy five-star restaurant." Cody pointed. "Neither can Loona or Blitzo."
Andrealphus made a bold chuckle before saying: "maybe you can't, but I can. For I have thought of a wonderful place for you and your adorable girlfriend to have your date."
"Where?"
"The Richest Cup!"
"That cafe where the richest of the rich hang out? Where some small demons be slaves to those fucking rich, pompous demons like you?" Blitzo asked
"I suggest you watch what you call us, pion." Andrealphus warned. "You may be the founder of an infamous assassin company to make a profit off of, but you are still not as rich as me, or my family. I could freeze you in an instant, you know?"
"Pfft, bitch please." Blitzo boasted with his arms crossed. "I've dealt with a lot more scary shit than-" before he could finish, he felt himself blasted into an ice sculpture by the Goetia marquis.
"Blitzo!" Cody exclaimed, rushing up to his friend. "No, no, no, please tell me your still alive! DON'T DIE ON ME!" the boy began to sound frantic.
"it's alright, Cody." Andrealphus gently touched him on the right shoulder with one hand
"You killed Blitzo!" Cody had tears down his face. "How could you kill Blitzo?!"
"I did not kill him!" the marquis said. "I only froze him. If i did kill him, then i would have just shattered him."
"D-don't... worry... Cody." Blitzo tried talking as he was encased in ice. "I... Never... felt... b-better!"
"Are you fucking crazy!?" Loona said. "Are you trying to kill us?!"
"No! I only kill when i have to." Andrealphus said. "Trust me, your father will be fine, Loona."
"Whoa whoa whoa, he is not my dad!" Loona said, sounding offended. "I'm only an adopted hellhound to him, nothing more! I'm more concerned about you being around Cody."
"Come now, just thaw him next to a fire or use a flamethrower if you have to." Andrealphus pointed. "trust me, all he needs is a bit of warming up next to a hot substance."
"Flamethrower... in... closssettt." Blitzo said. "Loony... pleassse... gettt... flamthrower."
"Anywho, The Richest Cup sounds like a perfect romantic spot for you two children. "What do you say?"
"After freezing Blitzo like that, i don't know." Cody admitted. "What if you freeze me and Misty for fun?"
"Come on now. You clearly have been talking to Stolas so much, who has a thing for saying dreadful things about me. Please do not listen to what he tells you about me. Like i mentioned, i have helped you against Belmont and his fanatical followers."
"Right."
"Please, come with me to the Richest Cup. And i will not get in between you two like a third wheel. I will just pay for the meal you would want to eat at." Andrealphus persisted.
"well... it does sound nice." Misty admitted. "Even though me and Cody are not rich like you?"
"Yeah, what if the customers stare at us?" asked the human boy
"Oh they won't stare at you two. So what if you are both peasants? They shouldn't be bothered or disturbed by that. After all, you will both be with me, and i have quite the status in that establishment." the peacock demon boasted. "Oh but first, you will need some nice, formal clothes for that kind of place." Then he pulled out a nice tuxedo and white dress for the both of them. "Here. These should suffice quite nicely."
Looking a little uncomfortable, Cody put on his tuxedo first, then Misty his dress. "Wow." Misty looked more lovestruck by her boyfriend wearing a nice tuxedo. "Cody, you look handsome." She blushed.
"Thanks, and you look beautiful in that dress."
Cody's words made the hellhound girl blush even more.
"But this suit feels a little scratchy."
"Don't worry, it will be more accustomed to you, Cody. Now let us be off."
"Hey Cody," loona stopped her adopted brother and girlfriend before they left with the icy demon. "Can I talk to you and Misty for a second?" Pulling them away, she whispered, "be very careful with that asshole. If there is anything funny or if he tries anything that would hurt you, give me a call as soon as something is up, ok kiddo?"
"Got it, Loona." Cody nodded his head, making the hot hellhound woman smile.
"I know i can count on you. And keep your phone on you at all times in case something goes wrong."
"Always." Cody smiled. "OK, Andrealphus, i'm ready."
"Splendid." the icy Goetia smiled before escorting the two lovebirds to a nice white limosine for them to ride in. When they got to the richest cup, Cody was amazed to see how fancy this place was and Andrealphus gave them a nice table to sit in for his date with Misty
"This place is even more fancy than I imagined." Misty murmured, looking as amazed as her boyfriend.
Of course, some of the other customers were staring at the kids, mostly because Cody was very recognizable in the general population, and Misty for being a "lower class peasant".
"So, how has Tommy been recently?" asked Misty. "Is he doing ok?"
"Yep. Tommy is still happy with Celeste while they are living in France. What about you and your parents?"
"Oh, my mom is still drinking, and my dad is still being a junkie. But they're doing good." Cody looked a little uncomfortable hearing about how her parents are. Alas, this is Hell, so it shouldn't be surprise if many children in Hell had parents like those.
"Ok then." Cody made an uncomfortable smile. "They don't hit you, do they?" Cody asked
"No! Of course not." said Misty. "... not much. Okay, they have hit me a few times, but that's it."
"Well, i shouldn't have asked." the human boy admitted. "I don't want to ruin our date."
"No, it's ok." Misty reassured him. "Besides that, everything is good. And... i wanted to know id you wanted to meet my own gang that i hang out with sometimes. Me and them are unstoppable."
"Maybe one day." Cody smiled. "But what do you think of this place?"
"Very fancy." Misty smiled. "But some people are staring at us."
"Come on, just ignore them Misty. Like Andrealphus said, just ignore the people looking at us. If we don't look at them, maybe they won't judge us so much."
"Yeah, you're right, Cody." Misty rolled her eyes. "And... you look handsome. I know i said this before, but... you look so handsome."
Cody blushed. "Thanks. And you still look beautiful. Then a small imp demon came on the table and brought out two glasses, and poured hibiscus juice in the two cups, and then the ice cubes to keep them nice and cold. "Thank you, sir." Cody smiled.
The puny demon didn't say anything and just hopped off the table to fill juice for another table.
A bunch of other little demons came up to the kids' table with a large piece of meat, looking nice, yummy, and steamy, hot from the oven. "I present to you two lovebirds, the finest beef wellington to purchase, all for you two children." Andrealphus said. "The rest of you small retards, shoo!" he rudely rebuffed the smaller demons as they scurried away like rats, then another line of small imps brought in a large, yummy plate of spaghetti, looking so appetizing. "And a little something extra."
"That looks so good." said Misty, her mouth watering from looking at the food on the table. She was about to scarf the whole thing down, but was stopped by Andrealphus
"Wait a minute. You are in a civilized cafe, my dear." Andrealphus said. "You have to eat your food tenderly, and the proper way. You don't want the patrons to judge you, do you?"
"Right." Misty looked uncomfortable.
"What about you, Andrealphus?" asked Cody
"I am just going to have myself some nice dar jeeling for myself and sit all the way in the VIP booth so i will not be like a third wheel. If you need me, just do not hesitate to tell me the problem."
