Darkness.

This is not the first time this has happened for us, but for little Charlotte for the first time. She woke up a minute later. It's dark all around. Sometimes strange sounds are made from somewhere. She also couldn't smell, taste, or feel her own body. She was only asking herself one question. Where is she now? What kind of strange place is this? Charlotte got to her feet. She remembers everything perfectly. She remembers the past. She remembers her death. But she doesn't remember how she got here. Charlie looked at herself. The hoodie was covered in blood only where her heart was. That's where Mr. Afton hit. Right in the heart. But why? Why did he do that? What did she do to him? What could a seven-year-old girl do to a thirty-eight-year-old man? She didn't feel any pain. Why is she here? Is this the place where one goes after death? Or will someone come for her again? But when? So many questions and no answers.

Silence. She put so much pressure on head. The girl wanted to say something, but for some reason she was afraid that someone might hear her. Although, this is what Charlotte wanted right now.

- Hey! Is there anyone here? - Charlie shouted.

There is silence in response.

Charlie gathered her thoughts. The girl couldn't make out the strange sounds in any way, and she didn't really want to know what they meant. But she felt it... felt that there must be salvation somewhere.

And then a light appeared...

Bright and unexpected, it abruptly interrupted her thoughts and forced her to look around. Nothing... Only darkness and strange sounds. But then the light began to approach very quickly and when it enveloped the girl, she found herself...

On the street. In the rain.

- Wh-What? - Charlie said.

She was back at the window of the pizzeria. The children were having fun behind her, as if nothing had happened. Also, the girl did not feel raindrops falling on her head. It was as if they were passing through her. It turned out that it was. Charlie saw that she was a little transparent and the asphalt could be seen through her hands. And then the soul heard a car start up behind her and drive away. Turning around, she saw the purple car in which her killer was sitting. William Afton. There was a smile on his face. Smile. A sinister, satisfied smile. The soul couldn't look at it and turned away. Then a trail of blood attracted the soul's attention. She was turning the corner. The soul went down this path. When she reached the end, she regretted that she had ever come here. She wish she hadn't gone. And then she wouldn't have seen her dead body lying facing the concrete wall. Charlotte sat down next to her corpse. She didn't know what to do next. Leave? Where to? Maybe someone will come for her after all? What if she was doomed to wander all over the city like that? How can she cope on her own? What about dad? He would be looking for her now, and if the rain didn't wash away the blood, he would find her. Why did she get out of the car at all?! Stupid...

Suddenly, Charlie heard some strange sounds... It was like someone was opening the door. Charlotte's guesses were confirmed by a Marionette who came out of the pizzeria to protect the girl. Even though it was already too late. The robot's system and sensors began to damage raindrops, from which the Marionette, having reached the corpse, was already crawling. He hugged the dead girl, switching off. So they froze in this position. The soul looked at all this, and she wanted to cry again. Everything went down the drain. Her life is ruined. And the main thing is that she does not know the culprit of all this. It's probably William. Or maybe she herself?

Then Charlie remembered that she had a soul. It's Patience. A blue soul. It meant the patience and generosity of a person. Maybe she should wait and then something will happen? Yes, she's never been patient, but this time it's worth a try. After all, it was not for nothing that she was given such a soul. Charlie sat down on the rain-soaked asphalt and waited.

Minutes passed, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, but nothing happened. Soul was already tired of it, and she wanted to leave, but, firstly, there was nowhere to go, and secondly, she simply had to sit here and wait for something. Something told her not to leave. Suddenly, a light appeared in the distance. It was so bright that the girl covered her eyes with her hands, but when she got used to it, she looked at the light. There she saw the silhouette of a human. She took a closer look. This silhouette was so familiar to her.

- Hi, buddy! - the silhouette said.

It didn't take Charlie a second to recognize that voice. Charlotte felt tears start to flow from her eyes. It was Elizabeth.

- El-lizabeth? - Charlie asked.

- Charlie! - the red-haired girl ran up to the girl and hugged her friend.

- Elizabeth! I'm so glad to see you! Please don't leave me alone anymore! - Charlie burst into tears.

- Well, don't cry! - the girl began to calm down.

After Charlie calmed down, Elizabeth told her everything.

- You died before your time. You have fallen into the darkness, which is quite rare. You have a mission that you didn't manage to fulfill. But don't worry, I'll help you.

- Wow. - Charlotte was surprised. - How do you know so much?

- I'll tell you later. That's not the main thing right now. There is one evil force that controls our loved one, and he wants to destroy this world. But I know that we will stop him. Only me and my friends are capable of doing this. And you are my friend. We're not all together now, but eventually we'll find each other. Believe in yourself, and you will make the right choices that will bring not only you, but all of us back to life. Come with me, Charlotte.

Elizabeth held out her hand to her friend. She accepted the offer, and together the two souls went into a world full of hope and miracles. The world they have to save.
