Here's the latest chapter, after this I'll be doing the Diamond-verse story for a while so I can finish it.
Intro: (song) "Transformers! More than meets the eye! Transformers! Robots in disguise!" Optimus Prime with axe in hand, Tom, Jack and Thunder beside him breathing lightning. Ratchet with his hands transformed into swords fighting Deceptacons with D'Angelo, Miko and Plowhorn fighting beside him. Bulkhead bashing with his wrecking ball fist June and her dragon Wu and Wei fighting with ice and fire. Bumblebee with his right arm laser gun and left arm a sword with Alex, Raf and Feathers beside him. "Autobots wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of the Deceptacons!" Blizwing, destroying buildings. Lugnut lifting a bulldozer over his head. And Galvatron leading his army. The Team Prime and modern Dragon Riders lined shoulder to shoulder in the Hidden World. "Transformers! (Robot voice) Transformers!"
In the Ice realm, the Dragon Riders along with the aid of the avant Maximals flew over searching. Tom says to the team: "Ok, everyone keep your eyes open." They were searching for Buzzsaw and the Decepticons after their last battle, they were force to retreat and lick their wounds.
As they flew Alex asks Tom: "Remind me again; are we looking for Buzzsaw and the cons, today or the key to your elusive key to your dragon-box. I'm confused of what we're supposed to be obsessed with." Nightscream adds in agreement with Alex: "She's got a point. Aside a key, this Buzzsaw guy's unstable and with the Decepticons backing him up, things cannot be any crazier." Tom answers to the Latino girl and teenage bat Maximal: "We're looking for both, guys. But we haven't seen any sign of Buzzsaw or the Decepticons since they ran off here. So technically it's dragon-box-key-day." He answers with a smile and confidence.
The African American Army Ranger/veterinarian points out: "We can't even find a lunatic with a hatchet, let alone, two giant robots who transforms into a Hercules plane, the other transforms into a fighter jet and an assault tank." HE stated the flaw in their unable to find them, "How are we gonna find a key, in all of this ice?" Jun on Wu and Wei flies up next to Tom and agrees with D'Angelo: "D'Angelo's right Tom. This is worse than a needle in a hey stack." Silverbolt also agrees: "Even with my acute sense of smell, this snow and ice is blocking my smell sensors." He explains his inability to search for a 'key'.
But the blonde haired boy still hoping there's a way to open it: "There's has to be a key somewhere. Whoever left that box was in the Fire Realm. They might have found the Ice Realm." Airazor asks him: "You're saying the person who left the box in one realm hide it in another realm?" Tom answers to her: "Yeah. Why not keeping the box and key separate?" Alex dryly says: "To make it more difficult for the ones trying to open it." She spoke with her eyes half closed and in a stoke tone of voice.
Then a gust of wind pushes them back, they look to see large storm clouds, everyone was pushed back a bit by a gust of wind. Optimal Optimus says to his teammates: "Everybody, be careful! This stormy winds are hitting us hard!" The Latino hacker speak of the winds: "Those storm clouds are heading towards us. Maybe we should head home." Eugene raising his arm in agreement: "I'm with Gonzalas." Jack also in agreement: "Yeah, that's good common sense." The older Chinese male sibling says: "Hey, this one time, I was caught in a narley storm." Then Raf says to him: "Hu, Eugene? I don't wanna call you a liar or anything, why are you sure this really happened or are you just speaking for attention?" To which Eugene replies: "I swear, it really happened. And I'm not saying this for attention." Spoke with certain in his voice.
Tom says to the group: "We can't leave yet." He spoke with unyielding intentions to leave. "There's still one more place I wanna check out. It's not far from here." Optimal Optimus says to the young man: "Alright. But this is last thing before we leave. If those storm clouds surround us, we'll be lucky if we get out alive." He spoke with seriousness in his voice.
Alex and Miko flies up behind D'Angelo, Alex says to him: "Quick D, do the thing where you panic about missing curfew." Miko adds as she chitters through her teeth: "P-p-p-l-l-l-e-eas-s-s-e, D. I-I-I can't, f-f-f-fe-e-e-el-l-l my l-l-legs-s-s." She spoke with cold on her voice as she tries to warm up.
To that D'Angelo turns to Tom and says to him: "Curfew is important." But his words didn't sway him and to which he replies: "Come on guys, one more stop." Jun flies next to him and says to Tom: "You said that two stops ago." The blonde haired boy admits it and says: "Ok, ok, but I'm serious this time." Jack says to him: "You better be right this time." With that the Dragon Riders flew in a line formation, as does the Maximals.
When they land the Dragon Riders dismount, some of the Maximals stayed in beast mode, as for Optimal Optimus he transforms into his beast mode as well which is similar to his robot mode but with robotic gorillas features, he scratches his left ribs side, like a real ape.
They stood in front of a large tree that has a gateway like hole with no door on it. Tom and Thunder goes inside it, and it's a tunnel inside. Thunder growls not liking the tunnel, Tom says to him: "I have a good feeling about this place pal." He said as he continued to venture through the tunnel, but Thunder groans in disagreement.
Outside, the Latino girl says to everybody: "Somebody go with him please. I'll keep an eye on those clouds." Jun and Jack walks up to her, the Chinese female sibling says to her: "Way ahead of you." The Japanese American male also speaks: "Yeah, knowing Tom, trouble seems to follow him wherever he goes so might as well help him." As they and their dragons follow their riders, Alex speaks to the others: "Keep us on schedule D." To which D'Angelo replies: "Roger. Come on Plow." They also enter the tree tunnel, Miko still freezing, Eugene may not be a sensitive guy buy but he's still human at least, he removes his jacket and gives it to Miko.
To her surprise, he says to her: "There, that should keep you warm." The Japanese punk rocker was surprised and says: "Wow! That's actually pretty nice. Thanks Eugene." To which he replies: "No prob Meeks." Raph says to Miko: "I told you to wear weather gear for cold temperatures, but did you listen? No." To which Miko replies to him: "Well thanks, next time I'll bring winter clothes." She said annoyed by his words of warning.
Alex turns to the sky and says regarding the clouds: "That's storm is coming in hot." To which Eugene jokes: "I think you mean cold." He doesn't his pop at the end. "You see what I did there? You line them up, and I'll knock em down." He spoke of his comedic strategy, to which Alex doesn't enjoy.
Elsewhere, two stasis pods are over the mountain, they open and begin to scan the area. Computer voice saying: "Scanning. Scanning. Scan complete, suitable life forms detected. Begin the process of adapting and solidifying."
With that, the hatches open reveals two new Maximals. One spoke in a deep tome voice: "Ah. What happened? Where am I?" He looks at his little stub fingerless foot, he has the form of a Yetiwing, a fairly large four-legged dragon possessing distinctive traits, with her primary coloration being predominantly white. The hue is juxtaposed with shaded of gray observed on her horn-like appendages that resembles antlers. Additionally, the nasal structure of her beast for, extends in the manner reminiscent of a heart shape, and the eyes are situated below the nose, rather than being incorporated into the antler-like structures. Significantly, the wings of this Maximal's beast mode are of considerable size and are distinguished by the presence of dual claws. Moreover, the posterior region of the wings of this beast mode possess a thick coating of fur, which serves as an efficient insulating layer.
The other Maximal emerging is a female Maximal also in beast mode is a Snowtail, a medium-sized dragon with dark purple coloration and a white shades on her underbelly and horns. She has a nasal horn, and translucent frills on the side of her face along with two large fin-like spikes at the base for her tail. She sports two small, beard-like barbels on the bottom of her jaw, much like the protrusion around her neck. She has a single pair of legs, and a wyvern-like build, using her wings to support herself so she can walk and climb. Like most dragons, she also possesses an underbite, with somewhat square lower jaw.
The feminine Maximal says openly questioning: "Ah! My head, what is my head?" She turns to the large dragon, "What are you?" To which the Yetidragon answers: "I don't know. Your guess is good as mine. What's your name anyway?" To which the Snowtail answers hesitantly: "I cannot say entirely." She looks around seeing only snow and answers: "Call me Frosts." The male Maximal says after her: "Call me…I don't know. Let me think hum…" Neither could think of a name fitting for him. "You know what let's stop thinking of a name. We'll come to that bridge when we cross it. So what do you want to do?" He asks changing the subject.
Frost answers: "Well, we just been activated, I say we go off exploring." With that the two Arctic dragons Maximals venture off in the Ice Realm.
Returning to the spot where Alex, Raph, Miko and Eugene along with their dragons Feathers, Charcoal, Cloudster, Sparkey and Webmaster, as well as the Maximals Nightscream, Silverbolt, Airazro and Optimal Optimus, Alex notice the storm and its drawing closer by the second, Alex says to Feathers: "That looks like it's getting worse." Eugene reassures her: "Don't worry. Me, Webmaster and the Maximals will keep you company." Nightscream walks up to her and says: "Yeah, and if you guys get cold me and Silverbolt can warm you up in our beast modes." The dragon with arachnid theme traits walks up to Feathers also agreeing with his rider and the animal transformers, but he scared Feathers unintentionally causing her to turn invisible, only to turn visible behind Alex. Alex sarcastically and dryly says: "Lucy us." She rubs her dragon's chin to comfort her.
Silverbolt speaks to Airazor regarding Feathers: "Apparently she's still not use to Webmaster. And he's been with the group for a few months now." The hawk Maximal states of Feathers' shyness: "Feathers isn't a social dragon entirely. It took her a while to adapt to the others." She explains of Feathers' lack of social skills.
In the tree tunnel, Tom and Thunder reaches a cave, underneath the tree, they were shocked to see this, even the roots hanging from the ceiling and large ice that looked like it was carved naturally or by man or both. Tom says admiring the beauty of it: "Wow. Look at this place."
The rest of the volunteer Dragon Riders reaches Tom, D'Angelo says also regarding the cave: "Wow. If I was gonna hide a key, I definitely pick a place as cool as this." Jack agrees with his friend: "Yeah D. I mean there's gotta be a thousand and one ways to hide a key in here." D'Angelo asks: "So where do we start?" He wonders where to search for the key.
As Jun walks to an ice wall, the two heat and ice headed dragon looks to see something on the ground, Wu looks down and nudges his rider, and points to the ground. And sees animal tracks, and says to the group: "Hey, over here! Wu's got something." With that, Tom, Jack, D'Angelo gathers up to Jun and sees the strange animal tracks. D'Angelo says regarding the size of the tracks: "Those are some big claw prints." He spoke with a dash of fear of the creature made them.
Jun kneels down and asks: "Or are they big paw prints?" The African American member says taking back his words: "Forget what I said earlier. I doubt anything like that hid the dragon box key." He spoke still intimidated by what made the tracks. Jack speaks of what created them in the cave: "Maybe it's an animal that made itself home here. Some animals live in ruins or old buildings for homes. That or it's a guard dog, that spends generations of guarding the key." Tom agrees with Jack: "You could be right. Either something lives down here or it's a guard dog. Let's keep looking, we'll find the key and new dragon." With that the blonde haired boy ventures forwards.
Then the Chinese girl says of a theory: "Or maybe those aren't dragon prints." She gets up and says with enthusiasm. "It's a yeti. Also known as the abominable snowman." Said as she walks to the team and their dragons. "Ancient Himalayans legends speaks about a giant hairy beasts that leaves big footprints in the snow. Of course it's usually a sign of danger." Tom willing to give Jun's theory the benefit of a doubt and says: "Only one way to find out."
Jack also gives the possibility: "I mean, we've have seen our share strange things. I mean, giant alien robots, are transforming to vehicles or animals and we seen dragons, so we should keep an open mind." He spoke being understanding of a possibility of a yeti.
D'Angelo knows when he's outvoted and says: "(Sigh) Alright Plow, time to sniff out some danger." With that the Gembreaker begins to smell the sent and follows it.
Outside as snowballs are thrown in the air, as a fire ball shoots it in mid air, Eugene laughs at Webmasters' ability to shoot a target in mid-air. Then he says to his dragon friend: "Throw em up and blow em up. It's Webs favorite Ice Realm game. Wanna play?" He offers to the others as he throws another snow ball in the air, "Blast!" Webmaster fires at the snowball in the air. However some pits of snow falls on Alex and Feathers' heads. The Latino girl says to him: "Hey watch it will you?" Eugene reassures her: "Relax. We're just having some fun." Alex protests and questions him: "Does it look like we're having fun?" She was annoyed by him, Feathers now hunker down in fear, Alex kneels down to comfort her. "Feathers doesn't do well in the Ice Realm as it is. She's more of a warm weather dragon." She comforts her.
Raph says to his friends: "You know, maybe Charcoal and I can help you with that problem." With that he pats his dragon, who nods and spits out a fire ball, in the snow, with that the five remaining gathers around the fire, Miko says to him: "You could've done that a lot sooner." She was annoyed and is slowly warming up. Miko gives the jacket back to Eugene, who ups it back on. "Thanks for the jacket Eugene." He replies to her: "You're welcome. And any time." He said being nice to her.
Webmaster tries to get close to Feathers but she squeaks at him. "What's her problem? Webmaster was trying to be sorry." Alex still comforting her dragon: "She isn't ready for an apology, just yet." The Chinese male scoffs and pouts as he crosses his arms and says: "Well that's just rude." Alex speaks in an irritating tone: "Obviously, Feathers is still getting use to Webmasters being part of the group." Raph speaks to Eugene as he warms up to the fire ball: "Well give her time. She'll come around." He reassures him, Miko adds in agreement: "Yeah, I mean you can't force these things." She points out that the featherhead dragon will come around.
Meanwhile the avant Maximals were flying in the air searching around for the two Decepticons and the former lumberjack boss who's now a mental case. They broke up into two groups, Nightscream and Silverbolt taking the south and east areas, Optimal Optimus and Airazor flying north and west.
With Nightscream and Silverbolt who are searching the high hills and mountains. The bat Maximal asks the fuzor: "How do we miss two large Decepticons and a human with a hatchet?" To which he replies to his friend: "Under normal circumstances they can hide in vehicle mode, but they would leave an energy trail. But not this time." Nightscream speaks: "Yeah, it would seem they learned how to cover their tracks." They still search but no closer.
Airazro with Optimal Optimus flying over the valleys, the hawk Maximal questions her leader: "Do you think Tom will find the key to open the dragon box?" The ape Maximal answers: "Whoever made it, would've left a key for someone to find it, especially the ones determined to find it." He spoke as they continued the search for Buzzsaw as well as Lugnut and Blitzwing.
Back with the Dragon Riders standing guard outside, a gust of snowy wind blows at them. They turn to look up to see dark storm clouds hovering over them.
Alex spoke with dread in her voice: "It's here." Eugene says speaking with good common sense: "Time to grab the others and head home." Raph says to Eugene with complete agreement: "Eugene, for once you have got no argument from me." Alex says to her dragon: "We'll right back Feathers." She rushes with Eugene to get the others. As the snow blows on the two dragons who curled themselves up to keep themselves warm.
As for the avant Maximals they too see the storm, Optimal Optimus uses his communication device to his teammates: "All Maximals, the storm's coming in, we need to head to the humans and their dragons! Before the storm hits them first!" He exclaimed as the winds howling was beginning, to become loud. Silverbolt replies on his end: "You got it Optimus. We're turning around now." With that the Maximals turn back and began heading for their human allies.
In the underground cave, Plowhorn is still sniffing as they follow the tracks. Tom notices a patch of fur on the ice, he openly says: "This looks like…fur?" He spoke in confusion about seeing it. Jun squeals with excitement and says as she picks up the fur: "Aha! I knew this cave was feeling Squatchy." D'Angelo speaks with skepticism: "Could be a large land mammal." But the Chinese girl who is an expert of mythology says to her friend: "Oh come on! Big paws, white fur, lives in the snow. What else could it be, besides a yeti." She was still in believe in the possibility. D'Angelo speak of what she's saying in his opinion: "You're literally describing a polar bear." She half closes her eyes thinking D'Angelo isn't believing in it.
Jack is agreeing with both of: "OK look I'm not picking sides, but I can definitely see your points on both ends. Jun, believe it's a yeti, even though that I never seen one but then again, we have seen dragons so it's best to keep it open mind. However, D'Angelo points that it could be a large land mammal. But I doubt is a polar bear would live here." He spoke understanding both sides opinions and possible.
Alex, Eugene, Raph and Miko entered the cave, the Latino girl hacker says to the other teammates: "You guys, the snow storm just hit." The Chinese male sibling adds: "We need to blow the popsicle stand, like right now." The Hispanic male hacker adds: "And from the darkness of the clouds we saw, it might be raining hailstones and ice." The Japanese finishes: "So we should get moving before the storm comes and we're trapped in here." She spoke with seriousness of the situation of the storm.
The blonde haired boy says to the team who warm them of the storm: "Ok, ok, just give me a few more minutes. I wanna make sure the key's not in here." Alex is unable to tolerate his inability to leave when the storm: "In a few more minutes Kullersen, we're going to be permitted residence of this igloo!" She exclaims wanting to leave as soon as possible. Miko speak as well: "Yeah, and last time I checked. These clothes aren't fit for cold weather." She points out her clothes inability to sustain her body warmth.
The Night-Light Fury agrees and growls to Tom to leave as fast as possible. Tom understands and agrees: "You're right. We'll come back later." So they began to leave the cave.
Up at the surface some of the riders were already on their dragons, just in the in nick of time, the snow was flurrying, and the Maximals returned. Optimal Optimus says to the youths: "Is everyone here?" Tom answers the Maximal leader: "Yeah."
Eugene exclaims for his dragon: "Come on Webmaster, let's go." Alex also yells: "Feathers!" But no responds from them. Raph yells: "Charcoal! Where are you boy?" Miko also called for her dragon: "Cloudster, Sparkey?" They call for their dragons still but no responds.
Tom says to the group: "Everybody fan out. They can't be far." So all Dragon Riders and Maximals started to call the missing dragons by name, just as the snow started to fall faster.
Jun on her dragon Wu and Wei, along side of them is Nightscream, Jun exclaims: "Feathers! Charcoal!" Nightscream yells: "Cloudster, Sparky! Webmaster!" Then Tom on Thunder lands with Airazor landing beside them.
Tom asks the Chinese girl and the Maximal bat: "Anything?" Jun answers: "No sign of them." D'Angelo, Plowhorn and Silverbolt regroups with their friends, D'Angelo says to them: "Plow can't smell a thing in all of this." Silverbolt adds also can't pick up a scent either: "Nor can I. There's no tracks, no trail either." He spoke as D'Angelo dismounts and Sliverbolt he transforms into robot mode. The three humans gathered, and Jun asks: "What are we gonna do Tom?"
Tom answers the question: "If we keep searching in this storm, we might all get separated and lost." Meanwhile Eugene, Alex, Raph and Miko still calls out for their dragons but still no response. Then Jake, Winger and Optimal Optimus lands, Jack says to the group: "We still got nothing." Optimus adds why he couldn't detect them: "My sensors are having difficulties in searching for our missing dragons. This icy weather is messing with my visual sensors." He explains to them. Eugene says sarcastically: "Oh great! This can't be any worse!" Miko says to him in still freezing: "P-p-leas-s-s-se, don't, m-m-m-make it w-w-w-wors-s-s-se Eugene."
Tom walks up to them and says to the 4 members missing their dragons: "Alex, Raph, Miko, Eugene, we gotta go. We'll pick up the search tomorrow." As he walks away, Alex bluntly questions: "Tomorrow?! What are you talking about? We have to keep looking. Feathers is out there." Eugene adds also concern for his dragon: "Webs too." Raph speaks up: "Not to forget Charcoal." Miko finishes with freezing chill: "And ther-r-r-re's Clouds-s-s-ster and Sparky-y-y-y." She spoke through her chattering teeth.
The blonde haired boy tries to reassure them: "Look, I know you don't want to leave. I don't either. But we can't risk all of us." D'Angelo walks up and says to them: "And it's getting late. We'll be hard press to make it back as is." Alex speaks still wanting to search for her dragon companion: "This is not where I wanted you to pull the curfew thing D." Eugene also speaks up for their dragons: "Dude, how can we leave our dragons out here?" Miko adds also speaking for his dragon's safety: "Yeah, Charcoal can only make fire from rocks. And there's not many rocks here in the Ice Realm." Miko finishes: "How can we expect them to survive without us? Let alone in this winter-hectic-land?" She spoke with some warmed and anger.
Jun speaks up for their dragons' capabilities: "Webmaster, Charcoal, Feathers, Cloudster and Sparky are from the wild. They lived in the dragon realms their whole lives. They'll be okay for the night." Optimal Optimus speaks as well: "And knowing their survival instincts they'll probably have to work together for survival reasons." Tom speaks in agreement with her: "Jun's right." While they pointed out their ability to survive and adapt to the situation they're in but Eugene, Alex, Raph and Miko aren't listening.
Eugene gruff and says: "Classic Kullersen. All the time in the world to search for a key to your dopey box. But no time for Webs, Charcoal, Feathers and Cloudster and Sparky." Tom feeling guilty for the Chinese young man was right so he says: "I'm sorry. But we have no choice. We'll come back at first light." Nightscream speak up in agreement: "We don't have a choice. Can't search for them if we're frozen to death." They all states they need to put their own lives first they come for their dragons tomorrow. Tom finishes: "We will find them I promise." The four still skeptical but have no choice but to agree.
With that Alex mounts on Plowhorn behind D'Angelo, Raph mounts on Thunder behind Tom, Alex mounts on Winger behind Jack and Eugene mounts on Wu. Jun reassures her brother: "Eugene, it'll be okay." But he replies harshly: "Don't look at me. Keep your eyes pointed that way." He points with his arm then lowers it still feeling useless and unable find his dragon. She tries to look at him with the corner of her eye. "No! Not even a glance." With that the Dragon Riders and Maximals flew off heading for home for their inability to search for their missing friends.
But as they leave, Frost and the Yetidragon Maximal emerges from the shadows still trying to stay hidden. The Snowtail says to her friend: "Did you see them?" The Yetidragon Maximal says in agreement: "Indeed. And apparently they have four missing dragons." Frost speaks to her friend again: "Maybe we should find them." The Yeti dragon agreeably says: "Agreed. Once we find them we must stay with them till dawn." They nod in agreement.
Elsewhere as the snow falls hard, Feathers wonders aimlessly through the Ice Realm, she walks down a hillside, she almost slips on the she is now on stable ground, Webmaster follow but slides down bumbling into Feathers who is upset raises her head and is angry at Webmaster even if it is an accident, Charcoal, Cloudster and Sparky who managed to reach down but while Feathers isn't mad at them, she's more upset of Webmaster, she even extends her wings showing her disliking of him.
While Webmaster feels saddened by this Charcoal tries to comfort the arachnid dragon. But as she continues to walk, with the two headed dragon beside her, but their extended wings causes them to he pushed back by the wind only to be stopped by Webmaster and Charcoal who are standing in mid placed. The Featherhead dragon sees Webmaster and the Hideous Zippleback looks to see the Gronckle who stopped them from being pushed any further.
Even though Cloudster and Sparky are grateful for Charcoal's help, Feathers simply moves forward with her wings folded and she turns invisible. She reappears but a few feet away from him.
Webmaster was still struck by sadness so he gets an idea, he rushes pass Feathers, picks up some stick with unintended spray some snow on her, but he puts the sticks up against an ice wall, but being held upright by the snow.
As Feathers walks closer, the arachnid dragon breaths fire on the sticks. This surprise her, for it seems Webmaster was trying to show compassion, but Feathers is being stubborn and some would say prideful, she turns around glances but doesn't acknowledges the gesture of kindness. But Charcoal insists that she at least warm up by the fire, just to swallow her pride, Cloudster and Sparky walks to get close to the fire as well.
Feathers maybe be prideful but she cannot deny the warm of the fire, so she moves closer to it. Even Charcoal moves close to the flame, then they all decided to rest by the fire and wait for their riders tomorrow.
Unknown to them some was lurking in the shadows watching them. But then the new Maximals Frost and the Yetidragon sees the dragons. Frost says to her friend: "So those are the missing creatures." The Yetidragon replies: "It would appear. They look like they're trying to survive in this hard ecosystem." The Maximals understood the situation and decides to help the lost dragons.
In the Icarus town, in Alex's room she is on her tablet but then turns it off and tires to sleep but cannot, then a knock on the window, of her room is heard, she thinks it's her so-called friend even says the last name: "Kullersen." She walks to the window to her surprise it's Eugene, Miko and Raph. She opens the window. "Eugene? Raph? Miko?" Eugene simply says to her: "Oh, hey." The Latino girl asks them: "What are you three doing here?"
The Chinese teenager replies trying to play it cool: "I don't know. Just checking on you I guess." Alex confused says: "Okay…" Raph speaks up: "We thought you were upset or angry at Tom." Miko speak as well: "Mostly worried about Feathers. Like leaving her behind. How do you think we feel?" Alex still confused by their sharing their feelings, even Eugene who says: "Not me though. I'm alright. Just wondering how you were doing." Alex says just as they were about to leave: "No, guys. I-I need you for a moment longer." She carefully walks out of the window looking in the living room to see if her parents are awake but the coast is clear.
Outside leaning against the dome wall and sitting on the grass, gassing up at the moon and stars and night clouds. "So, hu…chilly tonight uh?" Asked Eugene, to which Miko says: "It's warmer here than it's in the Ice Realm." Alex speaks still worried: "Just imagine how cold it is down there." She was still thinking of Feathers.
"I know Cloudster and Sparky can handle the snow. But they're still just animals." Said Miko who can understand her dragon's toughness but still is mortal. Then Eugene says with determination: "If it was Wu and Wei or Thunder lost. Do you think we come racing back home?" Alex says to him: "No way." He simply answers
Eugene still mad that they had no choice: "It's like we don't even matter. Jun barely let me on the team." He said feeling left out. Alex also agrees with this: "And I was the last one, they told about dragons and alien robots. That's just cause Feathers followed me home, and I found Wheelie in my room." Miko can somewhat agree to it: "I can get where you guys are coming from." To which the Chinese elder brother questions the Japanese punk rocker: "How do you know? I mean you were in league with the secret." To which Miko retaliates: "Because we were sworn to secrecy by Agent Fowler. It wasn't exactly a democracy." She argued about why she couldn't say anything.
Eugene speaks again: "I didn't even want to come here." He explains himself. "Stuck out here in the wilderness with my crazy sister." Raph says on Jun's defense: "Hey!" Eugene didn't reply for he knows his sister or thinks he knows her. Alex adds also feeling the same way says: "Crummy wifi running on windmill power." Miko says to them: "Oh boo-woo!" She gains their attention, which shocked them both. "You guys are so selfish sometimes. I mean if you asked me, this place is pretty great." She stated, her opinion.
Raph also speaks up, as he stands: "I can get you Alex. I'm the awkward kid back home. I was always picked last even with computer games. And I was a straight A-ish student, so it was hard to make friends up until now." Miko also adds feeling the same: "Yeah, and as a punk rocker, my parents wanted what they thought was best for me. Even going to college, but I just like to rock'n'roll." She stated herself. "But who would any of us ever thought we meet dragons or alien robots that transform into vehicles or animals.
After realizing they all have more in common than they thought. The Latino girl speaks again: "You're right Raph. I was the awkward kid in school too. But then I met Feathers." Eugene says his feelings too: "And I met Webmaster." Then Raphael says in agreement with the two members: "And I met Charcoal and Firebites." Miko finishes her meeting of her dragon: "And I met Cloudster and Soarky." They all announced the names of their individual dragons.
The Chinese male speaks of his connection to Webmaster: "We have a bond. A real bond. He's my best friend." Alex simply replies: "Yeah." They all sat and thought for a moment. Eugene with frustration says: "Ugh! I feel so useless, just sitting around doing nothing." Miko pats his should and says to him: "Welcome to the club." She stated. Then Raph and Alex smirks and come up with an idea, Alex says: "So let's stop being useless." They decide to get up, to search for their dragons.
Eugene and Miko recognizes their friends' intentions. "Are you suggesting we…" asked Eugene who Alex turns around and answers: "Yes. Unless you rather to just sit here, feeling sorry for ourselves." Miko says admiring Alex's newly grown courage: "I'm liking this version of Alex." Eugene on the other hand protest this idea: "Wow, wow, wow. I just got off provisional dragon rider status. I can't risk it." The Latino girl argues: "If we can't have our dragons. We cannot be Dragin Riders anyway." The Hispanic boy compelling agrees with her: "She has a point."
The Chinese elder sibling thinks for a second and says seeing the logic: "Hu, haven't thought of it that way." He turns away for a second, then turns to Alex. "Okay." Alex turns around with a determined look and says: "Good. Let's go find our dragons."
Raph speaks logically: "As much as I agree with you guys. But we couldn't find them if we were dead. But we should bring winter clothes, and gear that would've help us find them." He spoke in understanding the need to save their own lives so they can returned prepared. Eugene asks him: "And where pray tail are we gonna find snow gear?" The Japanese punk rocker and Hispanic hacker both glanced at each other with a smirk on their faces.
At their personal home where they and Jack and Agent Fowler lives, Miko taps on the wall revealing survival gear for numerous of environmental dangers especially for the Dragon Realms. And weapons from none-lethal tranquilizers to electrical tasers that may not kill but hurt and can cause muscle stunning even lethal weapons meant to kill larger and more dangerous foe and predators. Even body armor based off the Rider own versions for the Fire Realm with added upgrades even communication devices embedded in the helmet and wrists gauntlets.
Eugene says in total surprise: "Wow! Where you get all this stuff?" Raph answers: "What can we say? Having a federal agent who documents the Dragon Realms, he gathers intel to make it suitable gear and equipment for us to survive." He explains himself, Miko speaks now: "However we cannot get to use actual weapons. But we can have the taser rifle, a net-gun with a steal like fiber meant to entangle a bangle tiger. And a tranquilizer guns both pistols and rifles, and enough darts and powerful enough to bring down a bull elephant." With that Alex takes a tranquilizer dark gun, cocks it and says: "Alright then. Let's roll." She said with a determination look on her face still holding the none-lethal weapon.
Back in the Ice Realm, the four dragons slept around the fire, the two new Maximals, kept silent, Frost puts a blanket woven from the leaves she could find, as for the Maximal that is a Yetidragon he puts more wood on the fire but places it gently without waking the dragons. Then both put a large leave made tarp over their heads with large wooden poles to support it up.
The two Maximals sleeks away, without waking them, Feathers was still shivering despite the blanket and fire. Webmaster, Charcoal, Cloudster and Sparky wake up, they notice the new accommodations but didn't know who made it. But they turn to Feathers, who was still freezing, so they walk up to her and combined their body heat to warm her up. She wakes to see Webmaster extending his right wing. She wakes to see her fellow dragons warming her up.
Then they hear a growling, they cannot see it, but hear it's growling as it sleeks forward, but Feathers uses her camouflage ability to hide her and Webmaster, as for Cloudster and Sparky they picked up the leaves blanked and cover themselves and Charcoal makes himself look like a bolder, the hid in plane sight. The creature no longer sees its prey thinking they gone, so it leaves, Feathers reappears and Webmaster, as does Cloudster, Sparky and Charcoal from their hiding spots, they knew now, they were being hunted.
Back in Rake town, Tom sat in his room, still feeling guilty for leaving his friends' dragons behind. He tries to stay focus on the dragon box, when he lowers is down, Jun is standing outside exclaiming: "Kullersen!" She said which startles him "Sorry." She apologizes as Tom opens his window and asks: "What's up?" He asks her.
Jun replies with a question of her own: "Are you okay? You look upset." The blonde haired boy answers to her question: "I'm, I'm fine. It's just…I'm not sure if I made the right decision earlier." Tom felt guilty for leaving Feathers, Webmaster, Charcoal, Cloudster and Sparky behind for they had no other choice.
The Chinese girl says to him bluntly: "Well I got some more bad news. Eugene is not in his room and Alex isn't responding to my text, and neither is Raf and Miko." Tom fearing the worse asks: "You wouldn't think they do something dumb…" Jun interrupts him knowing her brother's action before he makes it: "We are talking about Eugene here." Tom finishes the conversation: "We better grab D'Angelo and Jack and go find them, fast." With that begin to set out to find their awol friends.
As for the four Dragon Riders who are sneaking through Rake town to head back to the Ice Realm, They were loaded with enough gear, tools and equipment for the tasks, Alex held her tablet in hand and it beeps, she tells Eugene, Miko and Raf to stop: "Hold it." Eugene questions her: "What? Coast is clear." He sees both side for no guards. She turns to Eugene and points up seeing a surveillance camera.
Miko whispers: "Of course, surveillance cameras, like in those James Bond movies." She simplifies of the situation but she knows it's serious. They sleek into some bushes and hide. The Chinese male sibling says since they can't get past without being seen on footage: "No way we can make it through without big brother spotting us. Pssth! Game over." Raf says as she and Alex pops their fingers: "Seriously have you ever played video games?" The Latino girl adds in agreement: "He's right Wong. This game has just begun." They use their tablets to hack into the security camera and changes the trajectory.
As one guard is looking at a book rather than the security cameras, which on the screen shows a ram. He glances for a second after hearing the ram's bawing.
The four members, emerges from the bushes, the Latino hacker says: "Okay, good to go." Eugene is impressed by their capabilities of computers, he even comments them: "Wow! I wish I knew you guys in middle school. Would've saved me from a hundred detentions." Raf says to him: "True. But we could've also helped you work. And by that I mean actually teach you instead of doing your homework for you." Eugene says to him: "Wow, wow, wow!" He exclaims but still trying to keep his voice low. "I'll admit I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer." Miko says in agreement: "Ain't that the truth." Eugene continues: "I never had anyone do my homework. Except with one time with Jun, but mom found out. Anyway I still have my pride." He explained himself. "I may have had things handed to me but, up to this point I earn something." Raph understood him now, that Eugene still has some pride and wants people to know he isn't dependent.
The Latino girl, Hispanic boy, Japanese girl and Chinese young man approaches the perimeter sensors. Eugene asks Alex and Raf: "Any chance you two can use your nerd powers to fix my grades?" Miko saw that coming and says: "And there we go. Using someone else to fix your messes." Alex says to him: "There's not enough nerd powers in the world to fix that." She spoke sarcastically and Raph also adds speaking sarcastically: "Yeah even if we could, what do you want us to do next? Make you the youngest president of America after Kennedy, and the first Chinese American president too?" Eugene understood that Alex and Raph were joking but they didn't want to tempt it either.
Alex deactivates the sensors and they continue to venture forward. But soon they're stopped by a guard on a four wheeler who says to the four youths: "You four! Hold it right there!" Alex giving for being spotted by a person who she can't hack into. "Ho, we are so dead." She said to the others. Eugene whispers to Alex: "Just follow my lead." He said with confidence in his silver tongue.
Miko simply says: "Yikes." The guard asks the three teens and little boy: "What are you doing out here, at this hour?" Eugene answers with his arms crossed and with a serious tone of voice: "Wondering when you get around and doing your job. Is that right Ms. Gonzalas, Mr. Esquivel and Ms. Nakadai?" Alex hesitates at first then speak: "Aa… affirmative." Raf also hesitated at first but then speaks: "Sir, yes sir." Miko finishes: "Most certainly."
Eugene walks up to the guard and says to him: "Yep, that's right." He leans in closer to the guard's name-tag, "Pete. We out here, conducting a surprise honor to Icarus and Rake town operation's security measures on behalf of my mother director May Wong, and by Federal Agent William Fowler, of the Pentagon." He spoke full confidence which frightened the guard.
Pete says completely confused: "No body told me about a test." Eugene annoyingly sighs and says to him: "Hence the surprise field test, genius." Miko speak with agreement with Eugene: "He's right. You must prepared for unexpected." The guard confirms to the youths: "We patrol the perimeter for every 20 to 30 minutes. So I don't know how that can possibly happen."
The Chinese elder brother ask his associates: "Can you believe he's questioning, our independent analysis?" Alex agreeably says: "Unbelievable." Raf speak in agreement as well: "If he's questioning us, he might as well be questioning both his and our superiors." Miko finishes: "If he keeps this up, he'll probably be demoted to less than security guard. What could worse?" Alex answers: "Maybe janitor?"
Eugene finishes: "Ms. Gonzalas, add this joker's ID number to that report. You know what, in fact scratch that. I'll call director Wong directly." Miko speak in as she pulls out her phone: "While you're speaking with Director Wong, I'll speed dial Agent Fowler, he'll be up in less than 4 seconds." Pete realizes the seriousness of his job and says: "Wait! There's no need for that." As the two Asians hold out their individual phones, "I lost track of time. It can happen to anyone. Please." He begs to the 'surprise inspectors'.
The Chinese young man says to the security guard: "Director Wong, can be pretty hard on slackers, like you." The Japanese punk rock girl says to him: "And if Agent Fowler got word of this, you be thrown in the brig for a month, and that's if you're lucky." Eugene says to Pete again trying be more merciful: "Well, lucky for you I am little more forgiving." Raf also speak: "Yeah, and besides you're only human. So I might turn the other cheek." He spoke as well trying to be understandable.
Alex questions them both: "Are you two going soft?" Eugene finishes: "Tell you what. I'll keep this between us, if you promise to up your patrol game." Pete sighs in relief and says: "Oh, thank you." He said to them thanking them for not ratting him out, Miko finishes: "What are you waiting for? A kiss on the cheek? Get out of here, before we change our minds and have your butt court Marshall!" Then Pete stood up straight salutes like a soldier and replies: "Ma'am yes ma'am!" With that he returns to his guard duty, but Eugene stops and warns him: "Oh, and uh, Pete? Life doesn't give us too many second chances. Don't waste this one." He warns the man and forwards his four wheeler and again returns to his nightly patrol.
Alex comments him: "You are quite the scam artist Eugene." To which he replies: "Master scam artist. Don't under sell it. Also Miko and Raf, you two were great actors." Alex also comments them: "Indeed, luckily you fooled him with your speed dial to Fowler trick." To which Miko replies feeling appreciated: "Thanks. Also we weren't joking about the speed dial." Raf adds in agreement: "Yeah for emergency, Fowler put his name in our phones to call for back up." Eugene and Alex were stunned to hear this, Raf finishes: "Now without any interruptions, let's roll." They continue to venture to the hidden realm.
In the Ice Realm Charcoal, Feathers, Cloudster, Sparky and Webmaster still wonders the Ice Realm, aimlessly, Feathers trips on a small hill of snow, and falls as she gets up the growling they heard way earlier of the dragon stalking them is still doing it.
Webmaster and Charcoal fires a warning shot hitting the tree its behind. Then it emerges a shadow of its head. The arachnid-dragon and gronckle walks forward as the featherhead dragon and hideous zippleback stayed behind providing cover. Then an ice blasts struck the two other dragons, who are starting to shiver. Feathers, Cloudster and Sparky rushes to their fellow dragons who felt like they're suffering hypothermia, then they turn to see the dragon who frosted their companions. Then Frost and the Yetiwing Maximal comes in forcing the other dragons to retreat.
Feathers and the two headed dragon turns and growls at the Maximals, till the Snowtail Maximal says to them: "Wait. We're friends." The yetiwing questions his friend: "Are you sure they can understand us?" Frost answers: "Well, they're domesticated, so it's a start." She turns to Webmaster and Charcoal. "Good heavens, we need to get them to someplace warm before that other beast comes to finish the job." With that Frost helps the two cold suffering dragons up on their feet. But then all of them are attacked by the dragon that took out Webmaster and Charcoal.
Outside in the entrance leading back to the Ice Realm, where Eugene, Raf, Alex and Miko stood over the hole. The Latino girl says of what they need: "We need a rope." Miko says to her: "Way ahead of you sista." With that she takes off her backpack, unzips it and pulls out a rope.
Eugene boasts: "I can totally climb this. No sweat." He said confidently, "But we'll rope it, just to be safe." He said trying to play it safe.
Even though they did bring rope that would've been long enough but the closes tree took up half the rope length. Alex simply says: "We're gonna need a longer rope." Miko apologizes: "I thought it was long enough, how was I suppose to know the nearest tree would take up half the rope." But Eugene reassures them: "Come you two, have some faith. We got this." Raf points out: "I don't think it's a question of faith. More life if we slip we could fall and die." He explained, but before Eugene could reply, he slips and fall, but in the nick of time he grabs hold of Alex's boot. "This is lot harder than I thought." He realizes in his hubris.
The Latino girl is struggling to hold on, Raf and Miko both grab hold of her with only one hand for both. Alex says to Eugene: "Grab the wall." With that the Chinese young man tries to reach for it, but he can't even with effort. He exclaims as he uses his leg to reach the wall: "I'm trying!" He still tries but to no avail.
Alex says to the group: "Guys, I'm loosing my grip." Miko struggles herself as well: "Me too!" She exclaims, "I'm trying to hold on to your wrist with one hand and the rope with the other." They all struggled with all their strength.
The young man encourages them: "Hold on you guys!" The Latino girl says to her friends: "If we don't make it out of this. I-I just want you to know, Eugene, you're not so bad. I'm really glad you joined the Dragon Riders." Eugene confesses: "Even though I call you and Raf a couple of super nerds behind your backs. I always meant it in a good way." He said to them, "Like the kinds that get you rich off of baths and stuff." He finishes his sentence.
Raf speaks as well: "And Alex, I'm glad I got to met you and the others. I mean I didn't have a whole lot of friends." He said, then Miko speaks: "Yeah. I want you guys to know. I love you guys." She said feeling the weight was getting worse. Soon Alex, Miko and Raf looses their grip and begins to fall but Alex and Raf are caught by Wu and Wei, as for Miko and Raf who are caught by Optimal Optimus.
Jun comments her dragon: "Good catch Wu and Wei." Tom says to them: "Now pull them up." With that the icy-hot dragon pulls out Alex and Eugene out of the hole and Optimal Optimus climbs out of the hole with Miko and Raf on his shoulders as he was in beast mode.
Eugene says as he whips his jacket's arm sleeves of dust: "Thanks for the assist. But hu…we totally had that." Miko then speaks: "It was my fault, I didn't measure the rope length." D'Angelo in an upset tone says to the rouge members: "This is a direct violation multiple conduct codes. And what did you say to Pete? I never seen that guy, work so hard. And are you guys carrying firearms?!" He asked them in the end of his sentence.
Jun also upset especially with her brother: "Seriously! What were you thinking Eugene? And Raf, I expect better from you, and like D'Angelo asked, why are you carrying firearms?" The Maximal leader says to everyone: "No hold on! I'm pretty sure they have an explanation. So please answer." He turns to the elder brother, two hackers and punk-rocker, to which Eugene answers: "Someone had to step up and rescue Webmaster, Feathers, Charcoal, Cloudster and Sparky. None of you had the guts to do it." He slandered them for not being brave enough or cared enough to help their MIA dragons.
Raf answers: "And these aren't guns. Well technically they are, they're tranquilizer guns. We have over 30 rounds and they're powerful enough to bring down a bull elephant." He explained the weapons they were carrying. Jun exclaims to her brother: "Ho can you be such an idiot?! You put Alex, Raf and Miko in danger! And, follow up, where did you get tranquilizer, weapons and darts?" She asked and assumed this was her brother's suggestion.
However Alex steps up and says to the group: "Hold up! This whole thing was my idea." Miko speaks up as well: "And the tranquilizer weapons were also mine and Raf's idea. We couldn't go back without proper gear this time. Both winter clothes and tools needed for this rescue mission." They explained themselves, which shocked the group of the means necessary for the rescue mission.
The Latino girl says regarding their shocked expression: "Yeah, that's right." The Chinese young man says: "So watch who you calling idiot, idiot." Tom tries to play the nice card: "Look, we agreed." Alex says other wise: "No, we didn't agree." Eugene speak on Alex's side: "You guys just decided for us." Raf adds his thoughts: "That's also on me. I somewhat agreed with both parties, we should've stayed to find our dragons instead of leaving them to die."
Miko speaks also angry too: "You guys were more worried about getting hime on time." Th African American Army Ranger/veterinarian speak to them: "Well, are rules about coming home late." Alex gives him the serious look on her face, "Okay." He accepts where he is in the wrong even in the right.
Optimal Optimus speaks seeing both sides arguments: "I've heard enough, both sides may compelling arguments. Alex, Eugene, Raf and Miko were right, we shouldn't have left their dragons behind. And we shouldn't have you stand out too late. But then again you should've gone back instead of looking in that tree for the key." He said, in fact Tom agrees with Optimus: "You're all right. The truth is…I knew I messed up by keeping us out there too long, searching for the dragons box key. And when I saw how bad the storm gotten…" he spoke of feeling guilty for his mistakes.
Alex says sounding understanding: "You wanted to make sure we all got back okay." She now feels foolish for not realizing Tom was just thinking of his friends' safety. Tom speak again: "Yeah, yeah. But I didn't look at the from every angle." Eugene admittedly, says: "Well, I guess that makes sense. On some level." Jack speaks to them: "Look guys, I know you were worried about your dragons and you have every right to feel that. And if it makes you feel any better, even I and Tom wasn't feeling it was the best idea of leaving those four out in the cold to fend for themselves. But D'Angelo was right in the past; We never leave anyone behind." Jack spoke feeling remorseful as Tom.
The blonde haired boy speaks again: "Jack is right. In fact let's make it right, and go find our missing dragons as a team." But D'Angelo says to his friend: "There's are still rules Kullersen." Tom replies with a loophole in the rules: "Rules about getting home late. But there aren't any rules about leaving too early." Alex, Eugene, Raf and Miko switch from frown to smiles seeing the creative thinking. Optimal Optimus says to the humans: "Great. You are now being honest with one another. Now let's go find Charcoal, Feathers, Webmaster, Cloudster and Sparky, and bring them home." They all nod in agreement.
In the Ice Realm they Dragon Riders and Maximal leader flew over the realm, Alex riding on Plowhorn while holding on to D'Angelo, Miko riding with Jack on Winger, Raf riding on Thunder while his holding on to Tom, and Eugene riding Wi with his sister Jun on Wei. And Optimal Optimus was in flight mode going the steady pace with the other riders and their dragons.
In the air, Plow smelled something in air, they fly down the spot where the MIA dragons made their camp, Tom dismounts off of Thunder. Eugene walks up to camp fire and says: "This was definitely Webs." Jun says seeing something in the snow: "Looks like at this."
They look to see large footprints in the snow. "It's like the ones we saw in the cave." Tom speaks: "Then we know where to look." Jack says to the team: "Hey guys." They turn to Jack holding on of the blankets made out of leaves. "What do you make of this?" They see the odd blanket, Rafael says regarding them: "A blanket made entirely out of leaves?" Jun speaks: "No way Charcoal, Cloudsters, Sparky, Feathers or Webmaster, could make this." Optimal Optimus says to the team: "Guys, I'm getting couple of Maximal signatures."
Jack asks him: "Who is it? Is it Tigertron or Nightscream?" The Maximal leader answers: "No, these are new signatures. We may have some brand new Maximals, and surprisingly. Their signals are coming from the tree cave." He said for that was where they were heading in the beginning.
In the cave underneath the tree, the four missing dragons had their feet frozen to the ground, even the two Maximals, especially the Yetiwing dragon. They all struggled to break free, Webmaster and Charcoal tries to breath fire on the icy floor but they can't they're out of fire power.
The turn to see a pile of bones, signifying they been brought to dinner, as the main course. Coming from the cave entrance is the beast who captured them To their surprise and ironically it is another Yetiwing, the dragons and Maximals look to each other and are now worried. As the wild dragon stood before them, Feathers uses her sonic screech but to no avail. Frost says regarding this: "Well this isn't good." The Maximal who is a Yetiwing says regarding the situation: "This isn't good. Out of the ice box." Frost finishes the sentence: "And into the freezer." They were in serious trouble to say the least.
Outside where the tree stood the Dragon Riders along with Optimal Optimus were now at the entrance, but before they entered they notice what looks like a battle. Jun notice scorch marks, she dismounts and says as she places her hands on the marks: "Look at these." Eugene says regarding the marks: "They must be from Webs and the other." The sister says of the scorch marks directory positions: "They were blasting at something." Then Jack says also seeing the same kind of tracks but two different sets: "Guys, I found more of those tracks, but look at these." They see the tracks. "It's like another one of this creature was attacking it, and put up a fight." Alex speaks seeing the outcome: "And judging by the amount of piled up snow and ice broke, this thing wasn't going easy on his opponent." Tom finishes: "Whatever happened here, wasn't good." Then they hear their missing dragons screeching and calling for help.
Alex recognizing the screeching says: "Feathers." Then it's followed by another but not a call for help but an intimidating roar. D'Angelo says: "And something else." Tom speaks to everyone: "Let's go!" They all rush to save the in danger dragons.
At the cave entrances the team stood, and Eugene calls out for his dragon: "Yo, Webs, where you at?" Alex points to them: "There's they are along with other dragons." The trapped dragons turns to see their riders coming to rescue them. Frost says regarding the humans and Maximal leader: "Oh, thank heavens. Help has arrived." This shocked the Dragon Riders, Jack simply says: "Well, it seems we found the two new Maximals." Raf adds: "And we're not the only ones." They see the wild Yetiwing dragon, who turns to the intruders of his territory.
Jun says in a joyous tone: "It is a yeti! And a Maximal has taken its form." She acts like a fan girl. The Yetiwing extends it…well…wings revealing it to be a dragon. "Ok, it's not a yeti. But I bet that's where the myths about yetis came from." Optimal Optimus says to her: "Conduct a theory on it later. Right now, Optimal Optimus Maximizes!" With that he transforms into robot mode and gets into a fighting stance, the dragon charges head first, Optimus grabs it by the antlers, trying his hardest to hold it off.
As the four of the riders rushes to rescue their dragon Tom and the others help Optimus, Tom says to them: "We'll distract it, you guys save the dragons and Maximals." He said to Alex, Miko, Raf and Eugene who all run to their dragons and the two Maximals. Then he turns to his dragon, "You ready for this pal?" With that Thunder with Tom on his back flies upward and fires a stream of lighting behind the Yetiwing, which gains its attention away from Optimus.
The Latino girl says to her Dragon as she rushes and hugs her: "Feathers!" As does the Chinese older brother: "Webs! Ah, it's good to see you Webs." The Hispanic boy and Japanese girl also call out their dragons: "Charcoal!" "Sparky! Cloudster! Don't you ever scare me like that again!" They hug their dragons who greets them. Then they turn to the dragon Maximals, Alex says to them: "Ho, hi. Nice to meet you." Frost says to her: "Pleasure to meet you dearie." The Yetiwing Maximal says to them: "I am honored to meet you. Now would you please help us?"
Jun says to her heat headed dragon: "Wei, quick melt the ice to free, Feathers, Webmaster, Charcoal, Cloudster and Sparky, along with the two Maximals." With that Wei breaths heated steam on the ice freeing the trapped dragons and Maximals.
As for Tom and Thunder who is still being chased by the wild Yetiwing, but when reaching a narrow spot allowing Tom and Thunder to slip through, but the wild dragon couldn't so it ice breaths on them. They're hit and causes them to fall to the ground. Jun exclaims: "Tom!" Eugene reassures his sisters: "We got em."
The Maximal Yetiwing says to Frost: "We need to fight that thing again. It won round one, but let's see how it fairs in round two." Frost says to her friend: "But how? It whipped the floor with us the last time." Optimal Optimus says to them: "You need to transform." To which they confused asks: "Transform?" The Maximal leader says: "Just say Maximize that's your command code." He explains.
The snowtail Maximal says: "Alright. Frost, Maximize!" She beings to transform, the upper jaw head will be on Frost's back and the bottom jaw on the chest similar to Rhinox, but the wings will be up further to the back that way she can fly even in robot mode. The legs will extend to where she can walk like normal robot and her tail will turn into a sword. Her appearance looks similar to Arcee's form but with a beast mode. "Wow! This is amazing."
Then the Yetiwing Maximal says: "Maximize!" With that he transforms into robot mode which maintains the primary coloration of white from his Yetiwing form, giving him a striking and distinctive appearance. His robot body is muscular and well-built, reflecting his strength and power. The antler-like appendages from his beast mode transform into large shoulder pauldrons, adding to his imposing presence. To incorporate the heart-shaped nasal structure from his beast mode, Everest's robot head features a faceplate with a stylized design resembling the shape. His eyes are positioned below the nose, giving him a unique and slightly unconventional look compared to other Transformers. The wings of Yetiwing form become prominent features in his robot mode. They retain their considerable size, but now they transform into powerful and versatile weapons. Each wing is equipped with dual claws that can be used for both offense and defense, adding to his combat capabilities. To maintain the insulation provided by the thick fur in his beast mode, the Maximal's robot mode incorporates textured armor panels that resemble fur. These panels are strategically placed on his posterior region and parts of his wings, giving him both protection and a visually striking appearance. "Ho, my look at me now!" He said examining his robot mode.
As the real Yetiwing closes in for the kill, he's stopped by the robot mode Yetiwing who grabs him by the antlers which causes it to struggle. Them Eugene and Webmaster steps in firing at the beast's chin causing some pain.
Eugene turns to Tom and says to him: "Get up Kullersen! This is no time for a nap." The blonde haired boy says to him: "Eugene look out!" By some moment the wild beast was freed from the Maximal's grip and was about to attack again, but Jun, Raf uses their dragons to fire heat, icy breath and fire balls creating a steam cloud with debris causing a distraction and some painful irritation.
Jun says to the team: "Okay, time to go." With Eugene complete agreement: "No argument from me." With that all agreeing to the vote, the Dragon Riders and the three Maximals leaves the cave.
Alex says to her dragon: "Let's go home Feathers." Miko says to her dragon as well: "You heard the ladies. Let's roll." With that the Latino and Japanese girls along with their dragons flies out. As the fog is removed by the Yetiwings' wings he sees his prey trying to escape, he looks up at the ceiling and rams into it on purpose. Jun says of what he's trying to do: "He's trying to collapse the cave." The beast still bashes against the walls causing ice to fall down. Tom exclaims: "Everyone out, now!" They flew as fast as they could to the exit, Raf pulls out the tranquilizer pistol aims it and hits the wild beast with three darts, causing it to slowly become lethargic and tired, till finally it falls to the floor and started to sleep.
With that, the Dragon Riders and Maximals flew out, D'Angelo comments his friend: "Way to go Raf. Nice shooting back there." Raf replies to him: "Thanks. I used three darts, each enough to bring down a bull elephant." Optimal Optimus flies next to him: "I don't think that dragon was big enough to be a bull elephant size. But when he wakes up, he's going to have one nasty hangover." He stated his concerns.
They returned to the cave where they normally go to for Dragon Club. Cloudster, Sparky, Webmaster, Charcoal and Feather are happy to be home as they're being petted by their riders. Then Feathers walks up to Webmaster and presses her head up against his in a loving matter.
Eugene laughs and says to them: "It's good to have you back Webs." He pets him still, and apparently Feathers also acknowledges Eugene's loving support. "You too Feathers." The Featherhead dragon returns to her rider who comments Eugene: "Someone's warming up to both of you." She spoke, then Eugene walks up and congratulates both of them: "Yeah. We crushed it Gonzo." He Pop at the end of his sentence.
Miko pets her dragons who caresses, their head against Miko's face cheeks. Then she says to him: "Oh, I missed you guys. As well as Charcoal." Speaking of Raf is rubbing his dragon's underbelly and says to him: "That's a good dragon. It must've been rough. But seeing you survived, I think it's gonna take more than a little cold weather to break you." He comments the toughness of the dragon's endurance. Miko speak up: "I have to say without Charcoal's fire balls I doubt they would've last long. And I'm pretty sure he has a lot of body heat." She comments him, but Raf says: "I think Cloudster and Sparky help a bit. They could've created a gas cloud and Sparky could light it up to creat a small warm air." He commented the two headed dragon.
Jun sees Alex and Eugene getting along and sarcastically says: "Great, looks like Eugene got Alex in his web of deception." Tom thinks other wise: "Or maybe this is the start of a kinder gentler Eugene. People can change." He said with a smile and the hope of a better person in Jun's brother.
As Plowhorn begins to drift off, Eugene openly asks: "Yo. I think Plowhorn is about to fall asleep. Who wants to go Plow-tipping?" He turns around and whips to anyone who wants to join. D'Angelo stood between Eugene and his dragon with his arms crossed and says in a sincere tone of voice: "Don't even think about it." Eugene tries to play it off as a joke.
The Chinese girl ask her friend: "You were saying?" Tom admittedly retracts his words: "Ok, ok you're right. Eugene is still Eugene." He said as they watched Eugene and Alex getting along even with Miko and Raf. "I'm just glad we got everybody back and we have to new Maximals." Jack asks out loud: "Speaking of where are our new members?" To which they stood in robot mode.
Optimal Optimus says to them: "They're here." He presents them to the group. "All me to welcome you to the team. What's your names?" He asks them to which the Snowtail Maximal answers: "The name's Frost." Tom comments her: "I like the name. Suits you well. What about you big guy?" He asked the Yetiwing Maximal, he replies: "I don't have a name. I couldn't think of one."
The group thinks for a moment and to that Jun asks: "Why not Everest? I mean if your form's a yeti like creature. Why not?" Eugene says with arms crossed: "Really Jun-bug? I was thinking wrecking ball. Or avalanche." He spoke with enthusiasm of the last name. But the Yetiwing replies as he rubs his chin: "Everest. I like the sound of that." He spoke preferring the first one. Optimal Optimus says to them offing a hand shake: "Well Frosts, Everest. Welcome to the team." They shook his hand. Frost says to the group: "Also, just so you know. We helped the Dragons." Raf questions: "Really? Thanks." They all thanked the two Maximals.
At Tom's home, he sat down still looking at his helmet and the dragon box. He picks it up and says to it: "Well, I definitely looked at this thing from every angle. Maybe you're just not meant to be open." He raises his leg leaning backwards on the table and as he crosses on leg over the other he tips the Viking helmet over and the horn falls off. He readjusts himself and puts the dragon box down. "Oh man I broke…" he stops in mid sentence as he picks up the horn and sees something peculiar.
On the horn looks like the dragon symbol on his helmet and in the dragon box ends like a key slot. "It can't be." He said in disbelief for he had the key the whole time, hidden in plain sight. He sees the symbol on both ends, he turns on the head lamp, and hesitates to puts the horn in the key slot, but he does and with one turn it opens the box revealing something. He pulls out the object that reveals to be a book. And not just any book, it has the same symbol of the Night Fury, it is the Book of Dragons.
