Chapter 4: Bandit trouble
Morning came as Blitzo, Moxxie and Millie decided to reset after getting away from Stellas carnival as Moxxie huddled near the foot of a tree after what happened and was in shock as Millie hugged his side as she was also upset as Stella and Striker were killed by Kyrum right after he was free thanks to Blitzo as the imp shook his head "She chose his death long ago, it was the fate she wanted" said Blitzo cooly "And you have no regrets as me and Millie?" Asked Moxxie as Blitzo shook his head "I can never regret, I can feel sorrow but its is not the same thing" said Blitzo showing that a creature like him an feel no regret for the death of the two who kidnapped him.
"Where will you go now that you are free?" Asked Moxxie"I am looking for others like me, tell me have you or Millie seen them wizard?" He asked "No, not since we were just kids long ago, but in our lives growing up we never seen anyone like you, not while we were awake" said Moxxie "A cherub told me of Alastor who pushed all the other Imps to the ends of the earth and Stella spoke of King Pidemon, so I am going where they are to learn what ever they know" said Blitzo as he stood up and continued to walk to continue his quest to find his kind as Moxxie and mIllie followed "Take us with you for Lucks, for Laughs for the unknown" said Moxxie "You may come with me if you want to but I wish you'd ask for some other reward for having freed me" said Blitzo
"I can tell my husband thought of it, but you can never have granted his wish" said Millie "Agreed as powerful you are there are probably limits you can do" said Moxxie "No it is true I cannot turn you into something you are not, I cannot turn you into a true wizard" said Blitzo as Moxxie patted his head "Its ok, dont worry about it" he said "I am not but please tell me what you know about King Pidemon?" Asked Blitzo "Me and Moxxie heard stories from the provenance of Wrath and Greed he is a old man who rules over a barren country by the sea, some say that Pidemons land was greed and soft before he came and made the deal with the owl entity Solomum to grant him mysterious power and that the minute he touched it it became hard and gray with dark blue and red skies of blood and the ink." Said Millie as Blitzo looked away as they came to a open road "Tell me about Alastor?" He asked "Alastor *Comes to a stream as Blitzo hopped on one stone and Moxxie and millie followed* we heared many many tales of the windigo to tell you the truth, one says that Alastor is real, that he is a ghost" said Moxxie as he accidently trips and stumbles onto Blitzo but he moved away quickly of being touched "Sorry Blitzo" said Moxxie as Millie finished as they came to a hill top "I heard that Alastor protects Pidemon or else that he keeps him prisoner of his own castle-there are so many stories, but one truth" said Millie as they stared at the view on the hilltop seeing dark clouds looming over the fields "But there is one truth that where Alastor passed blood smears are left by the victims who dare crossed his path" she said as Blitzo looked at the castle.
Collins voice: They passed down all the roads long ago and Alastor ran close behind them and covered their footprints
As Blitzo recalled such words as Blitzo preened as he shook his head to snap out of the vision of the horrid creature and the poor imps who ran away from him as he continued walking as Moxxie and millie followed. Soon they came to the forest as Moxxie hummed as he started to juggle a apple, which with practiced ease became many as the shorter male juggled them all as Mille grabbed one and ate it as Moxie stopped juggling and offered one to Blitzo "Want one?" He asked as the imp shocked his head as Moxxie placed it in his pouch "How much further is it?" Asked Blitzo "This is the edge of Pidemons kingdom, its a very dangerous country" Moxie said as he shivered "Stella never came close to this land, calling it cursed" said Millie as they continued on not knowing that there journey is going to be interrupted as they heard the sound of hooves coming as Moxxie grew worried "Listen! Oh I was afraid of that Run swiftly hide yourself! We will find each other later! Millie go with Blitzo hurry!" Yelled Moxxie confusing Blitzo "Why? Who are they?" He asked "Outlaws! Millie go with him hurry!" Said Moxxie as Millie grabbed Blitzos hand "Come with me hurry, Moxxie be careful!" She yelled as she quickly ran with Blitzo on one direction as Moxxie climbed on a tree to hide.
A group of bandits lead by Bellmany the Hyna (One Piece) rode on their horses as Bellmany stopped his horse as he heard something from the tree as he stopped his men "Whoa! Well what do we have here?" He said spotting Moxxie white hair "Hay men! Mind your heads now! Its raining ninnies!" He laughs like a hyena as he pulled Moxxie down from the tree onto his horse as they ride off as Moxxie yelled for help as Blitzo and Millie watched them being rode off as they followed to find a way to rescue him.
At the camp during the night several miserable looking male and females are sitting around drinking something from mugs as they sat near the campfire as Revichi (Black Clover) spits out the liquid in his cup "Bean soup, always bean soup" he complained "At least those two could use a diffrent rat, the third night anyway said Hitan (Inyuasha) as they all turned seeing Bellmany and the others made it back "Put me down you ruffian" snapped Moxxie "Oh quiet down your for Donflamingo himself you are" said Bellmany as there leader a pink haired bandit named Donflamingo approached to see what is going on "Well Bellmany and who is it you bring us a comrade or a captive?" He said "I dunno what he is myself? What happened Donflamingo? We were out looking for likely trailers like always" said Bellman as Donflamingo grabbed Moxxie face to study him "Add some more to the soup ladies! There company!" Donflamingo called over 2 ladies.
One seemed Mexican with long white hair tied in a pink bow and one blue eye with the other covered with a eye patch dressed in a red top and grey shorts covered by a light blue hooded cloak.
The other had pale skin with golden eyes and rosy blush marks and dressed in a white shirt and brown overalls and straw colored hair tied in a pony tail.
There names were Vaggie and Charlie as Vaggie studied Moxxie as she scoffed "We will not have it Donflamingo! Not another mouth to feed the soup is no thicker then sweat as it is!" Said Vaggie "She is right with the supplies limited its barely even a feast" said Charlie "Ladies common where is your Greenwood hospitality" said Donflamingo "It faded with time you laughing Hyna" said Vaggie as she and Charlie galred/Studied Moxie "And who is this? I dont like the look of him" said Charlie "I wouldn't do that because I am Moxxie the wizard" the shorter male got off Bellman's horse "And you sir you must be Donflamingo Dexrocori the boldest of the bold and the freest of the free" he said as the pink haired bandit nodded "That I am "He is guessing Donflamingo get rid of him before he does you the way the last one did" said Vaggie as Charlie calmed her wife as Donflamingo ignored her demand "Well that is only Vaggie way, but she has a good heart under that spit and fire, the same with her wife Charlie morning star a pure and good soul even in these trying times" he said as Charlie said thanks but Vaggie just rolled her eyes 'Off with you lot" she said firmly "And these two girls, dont tell me they must be your students" he asked as Vaggie had a calm look "Maybe he does know" she said calmly as Donflamingo chuckled "Yes splendid kid, you are welcome here wizard, come to the fire and tell me what you've heard of Dashing Donflamingo and his band of free man" he said as he sat down and pulled out some meat "Have some mutton" he said as Moxxie sat next to him and his men as Millie and Blitzo watched him while hiding in the bushes so that they wont get caught.
"You are a lucky guest this evening Wizard, my minstrel Ember (Danny Phanom) here was just about to inspire us by singing one of the adventures of bold Donflamingo and his men" he said as all his men groaned that they're going to yet again hear another song about there leader and they are tired of it "No more of that not that thing again" said Hitans brother Montan (Inyuasha) tired of hearing the same song "Ember sing us a true song! Sing us one about Asta the devils swordsman" Charlie suggested which made Donflamingo mad "There is no Asta! Asta is a myth!" He barked as Blitzo and Millie still watched their freind as Moxxie got up and mumbled repeaditly "Magic do as you will, magic magic do as you will" he mumbled as the wind began to pick up as Vaggie, Charlie, Donflamingo and their men all watched in confusion of why the wind is picking up as Moxxie kept mumbling until he fell on his knees his strength waning.
"Now then boys with that out of the way…" started Vaggie but "Look! Oh Look over there!" A bandit shouted as Donflamingo turned and saw a figure with white silver hair coming towards him with a noblemen women with silver hair and pink eyes as Donflamingo greeted them "Sir madam, I welcome you to my domain! My name is Donflamingo Donquaxi of Greenwood!" He said with a bow as they just passed right through him "Oh its Asta and Noelle Silvia!" Said Charlie smiling big as Vaggie was in aw at seeing the legends come to life as she and the other bandits saw more figures coming in the black bulls who helped the brave Asta in his journey to stop the evil Prince the golden dawn lead by Yuno the brother and comrade of Asia and lord of winds and his wife Mimmosa of the green as more and more came walking pass them "What is this? This is not happening! Asta is a myth! We are the reality! Magic is magic but the truth is us right?" Asked Donflamingo as Vaggie, Charlie and his men just ignored him as they ran off to follow the figures as Moxxie laughed in excitment as his magic really worked "It worked! It worked! I said 'magic do as you will' and it worked!" He yelled happy that it worked.
Donflamingo and Bellmany grabbed him and the boss wasnt happy as Donflamingo snarled "That was a very dangerous diversion kid "He is no nedge witch Donflamingo, I dont know what he is to tell you the truth" said Bellmany as they took him near a tree and used a rope to tie him up against it "Tie him up and do you guard him tonight Donflamingo and in the morning we'll see what's to be done with a wizard who can call up Asta! Should be worth something eh Donflamingo" he laughed like a hyena. "Yes! We'll sell him! We'll both be gentleman of leisure in a months time!" Donflamingo laughed as he and Bellmany left leaving him tied up against the tree.
Moxxie struggled to break free "I dont even care about that! *Focuses to work his magic to free him from the ropes* Gotonius basin varsinisn bats gumtina crosti stormily hasti!" Unfortunally for the shorter male it wasnt the right spell as the tree came to life as he smiled at him and hugged him tight "Oh I love you many times full of love!" Said the tree as Moxxie moaned "Oh what I have done?" He muttered "Always always faithfulness beyond any men or women deserving I will keep the color in your eyes when no other in the world remembered your name, there is no immortality but a trees love" the tree said "Oh no please mame I am married to the lovely Millie, please HELP HELP! Oh dear imp Millie where are you?" He asked "Were coming hun!" Yelled Millie as he and Blitzo came as lightning struck the earth but it didnt scare the imp as he walked to Moxxie as the tree glared at the imp "Oh galls and fireblight he shall never have you the hussy we shall perish together!" Said the tree as lightning struck as wind blew harshly "Keep your woody hands to your self and off my husband!" Yelled Millie as Blitzo walked towards him and cuts the rope with his claws as the tree returned to normal as Moxxie was now free and gestured to follow him to continue there quests now that the bandits are gone to leave them alone.
They are free to continue but its still a long road ahead to there destination.
Authors note: looks like the group bravely got away from the bandits after a bit of magic that Moxxie tapped in as they are closer to the castle of Pidemon.
Next chapter the group allows Charlie and Vaggie to join as they encounter the vile Alastor that moxxie is forced to do something to keep Blitzo safe
