Stitched Kitsune: Chapter 25

Suna Desert Border (at night): With Naruto, Sasori, Kimimaro, Kabuto and Tayuya

Naruto was sitting by a camp fire with Sasori and his 'allies' although he uses the word very loosely; so they have been with Orochimaru's 3 cronies for about a day now and he has thoughts about them.

Kimimaro is very mission focused and loyal to Orochimaru to the extreme; he has no doubt that Kimimaro will either succeed in the mission or die trying.

Kabuto gave Naruto a very unsettling feeling and that's saying a lot considering he works with Kakuzu and Zabuza; Kabuto seems like more of a snake than Orochimaru like he's always trying to find an angle on someone.

The last one was Tayuya and Naruto found her a little suspicious; she hasn't done anything to him but he constantly feels her gaze on his back.

Naruto shook his head and began to refocus on the conversation that Sasori was having with Kabuto "so the Kazekage uses gold dust" Kabuto said intrigued and Sasori nodded.

"Yes, it's a bloodline that runs in the Kazekage's family" Sasori said "the third Kazekage, the one i killed used iron sand, the fourth Kazekage used gold dust and his son Gaara used regular sand" he said and Tayuya whistled.

"I'm fucking grateful that you're on our side" Tayuya said leaning back on her log "if we didn't know this we could've gotten our shit rocked by this asshole" she said and Naruto looked at her.

"Language" Naruto said out of habit since Fu, Mei and Karin constantly harp on him about his use of profanity.

"Fuck off blon-" Tayuya began but remembered that she dyed Naruto's hair purple for his disguise "you purp- damn it, fuck you, i can't think of a come back" she said crossing her arms and Kimimaro raised and eyebrow.

'Tayuya not being able to insult someone' Kimimaro thought in curiosity 'never thought I'd see the day' he thought. Kimimaro stood up and spoke "we best turn in for the night; we still have long way to the ambush point" he said and everyone nodded "me and Naruto will take the first four hour shift; then Tayuya and Kabuto" he said.

"Very well" Kabuto said as he laid down on the ground.

"You better not wake me up until 5 minutes before my shift starts" Tayuya said and Naruto rolled his eyes.

"Goodnight Naruto" Sasori said as he huddled under his cloak.

3 and a half hours later: With Naruto

Naruto was sitting next to Kimimaro on a log and was feeling uncomfortable; they have been sitting together for over 3 hours and Kimimaro hasn't moved, spoke or even made a noise.

'Lucky me; i find the only guy in the world who talks less than Kakuzu' Naruto thought as he glanced over to Kimimaro 'come on dude give me a cough, or clear your throat, even a fart will do; just say something you mute bastard' Naruto thought. "Ok fine; I'll say something" Naruto said catching Kimimaro's attention "why are you so quite; you got a problem with me" he asked and Kimimaro tilted his head to the side.

"I do not" Kimimaro said "i just thought it'd be rude to interrupt your staring at me" he said and Naruto grit his teeth and clenched his fists.

'You anti social bastard' Naruto thought before speaking again "so how did you end up with Orochiamaru; i mean he doesn't exactly scream 'hey come work for me; I'm a good boss'" he said and Kimimaro looked up at the sky.

"He saved me from a horrible fate" Kimimaro said catching Naruto off guard "my clan the Kaguya clan attacked the hidden mist village; they were all wiped out… except for me" he said making Naruto go wide eyed. Kimimaro produced a bone blade from his hand making Naruto's jaw drop "i have a bloodline that allows me to use my bones as weapons; I was originally supposed to be Lord Orochimaru's vessel, however fate intervened" he said.

"How so" Naruto asked and Kimimaro looked at him.

"I have tuberculosis… I'm dying" Kimimaro said shocking Naruto "despite that I'm still going to serve Lord Orochimaru until my final breath; he is the man who saved me from a life of emptiness" he said and Naruto pursed his lips together.

'Huh… kind of like me and Kakuzu' Naruto thought before nodding "i guess me and you have something in common" Naruto said and Kimmimaro looked towards him. "Kakuzu save my life; he trained me and taught me how to be a ninja" Naruto said "even though we hate each other more often than not… I still respect the bastard; for some weird reason" he said and Kimimaro nodded.

"I understand" Kimimaro said as he went back to looking at the stars "I believe we have an understanding" he said.

"Friends through unforeseen circumstances" Naruto said and Kimimaro smiled.

"I guess so" Kimimaro said.

The next day (Suna Desert): With Rasa

Rasa the fourth Kazekage was walking through the Suna desert with his 6 man anbu team in order to meet up with Orochimaru in order to finalize the plan to invade Konoha; he was able to disguise this visit as a diplomatic visit in order to not draw any suspension.

As Rasa continued to walk through crater and boulder filled valley he could not but help to feel uneasy; Rasa suddenly stopped and took in his surroundings.

'Boulders spread out with 20 yards of gap' Rasa thought as he looked down to the ground and and used his hand to try and raise some gold sand from it but all but a few flakes came out 'not a lot of gold' he thought as he grew more suspicious.

"Lord Kazekage" The anbu captain said as he walked up "is there a problem" he asked and Rasa held his head down.

"Looks like i made a miscalculation" Rasa said as he shed his kage robes revealing his shinobi garb with a large scroll on his back; he grabbed the scroll and opened it revealing a small mountain of gold dust "I just led us into an ambush" Rasa said and his team got on guard.

Rasa and his team were in a circle formation scanning around for the enemy; suddenly they all felt rumbling under their feet "Scatter" Rasa shouted and everyone scattered just as a bone spike appeared out of the ground.

Rasa was now alone and his team split up into 3 teams of 2.

With Sasori and Kimimaro

Sasori and Kimimaro both came out from their hiding spots and decided to flank Rasa from both sides; Kimimaro brought out a bone sword for each hand while Sasori used the cable hidden under his cloak.

Rasa looked at bot of his opponents and used his hand to begin his manipulation of his gold dust; Rasa first sent the gold dust towards Sasori who jumped over it and was able to launch his cable at Rasa.

Rasa immediately used his gold sand to make a shield in front of him stopping the cable from harming him; Sasori cursed as he called back his cable. As he did so Kimimaro closed the distance and attacked Rasa from behind; Kimimaro slashed at Rasa with both of his swords but Rasa was one step ahead.

Rasa sent his sand towards Kimimaro hitting him in the chest sending him skidding back across the sandy ground; Kimimaro stopped himself and pointed both of his hands at Rasa. Kimimaro fired all 10 of his finger tips towards Rasa but Rasa simply put up a shield to block the oncoming projectiles; the bone bullets fell to the ground and Rasa looked to both of his opponents.

"Sasori of the red sand" Rasa said looking over to Sasori "you haven't aged a day since you disappeared; how have you been, being the biggest disgrace to Suna must've been tiresome" he said and Sasori smirked.

"Rasa; how nice to see you again" Sasori said with a smirk "I've been fine; I even got married and had a kid" he said and Rasa raised an eyebrow.

"Interesting" Rasa said in nonchalant tone before looking over to Kimimaro "and you are one of Orochimaru's men; why are you attacking me" he asked and Kimimaro at him with no readable emotion.

"I was ordered to kill you" Kimimaro said as he opened the top of his Kimono and his curse mark began to spread over his body "and I will" he said as his curse mark covered his whole body.

By the time it was done Kimimaro was in his final curse mark form with dark skin, bones protruding from his back and a tail; Kimimaro then proceeded to reach back and remove his spine and held it like a lance. Sasori followed suit as he took off his cloak revealing his puppet body with his stomach cable and 2 bladed wings on his back.

"Such a vulgar display" Rasa said looking at the Sasori and Kimimaro "I'll happily dispose of you both" he said as his gold sand began to float around him.

With Naruto

Naruto seeing the team scatter went after one of the groups rushing from the boulder he was hiding behind; both of the anbu looked toward Naruto and both took out their swords. Naruto proceeded to throw off his jacket revealing his chakra armor underneath; Naruto's threads began appearing out of his body making both anbu stand on edge.

'Ok two anbu; shouldn't be that much of a problem' Naruto thought as he focused on his enemies.

"Ok, lets get this bastard" one of the anbu said and the other nodded; both anbu rushed towards Naruto who got into his stance. The first anbu closed the distance pretty fast and took a swing at Naruto's neck with his sword; Naruto had already hardened his body with his earth chakra so he had nothing to worry about.

The Anbu's sword hit Naruto in the neck and the sword broke on impact making the anbu gasp in horror "my turn" Naruto said as he threw a punch with his hardened fist. The punch connected with the Anbu's head shattering his mask and launching his head back; the whiplash was so bad that it ended up breaking his neck and killing him instantly.

The anbu fell back dead and his partner decided to stop his attack and jump back; the anbu took out several kunai and threw them towards Naruto. Naruto proceeded to grab the body of the anbu he just killed and use it as a shield. The kunai hit the corpse and Naruto threw it to the side before he realized that one of the kunai had an exploding tag on it.

Naruto jumped away just as the tag exploded but was greeted by the anbu who decided to charge him; the anbu charged his sword with wind chakra and Naruto decided to not take the hit head on despite the hardening of his body.

Naruto ducked back from the first slash as went across his chest, he then had to dive under another slash that was about waist level. Naruto attempted to perform a sweep kick on the anbu but the anbu jumped over Naruto kick; Naruto seeing his opportunity sent one of his arms towards the mans neck using his threads to control the limb.

Naruto's hand slammed into the Anbu's neck making him drop the sword and grab onto Naruto's arm in an attempt to break free. Naruto not hesitating proceeded to crush his wind pipe before tossing him aside to die from a lack of oxygen.

'Ok these guys are done' Naruto thought 'I'll go and help Sasori' he thought as he ran to where he last saw Sasori.

With Tayuya

Tayuya was sitting behind a boulder as she saw 2 anbu near her 'perfect' Tayuya thought as she took out her flute and put it to her lips; Tayuya began to blow into the flute and play her melody just as the anbu heard her.

Anbu POV

Both of the anbu heard a melody being played and turned to see where it was coming from but soon felt their worlds behind to shift into a red world with bones littering the watery ground. Both men then felt their limbs be grabbed and pulled away as they were forced onto their knees.

"What the hell is this" one of the anbu said in a panic.

"Don't panic" the other said "this has to be a genjutsu" he said as he looked at his friend.

His friend nodded in agreement "y-yeah, you're-" he began but stopped as he saw a horrible sight; his friends flesh began to melt off his body leaving only his bones where he used to be. His friend began to scream in agony as his flesh fell off his body into a puddle on the ground.

'No,no,no,no' the anbu thought as he looked to his side and saw the flesh begin to melt off his arm 'oh god, oh god please help me' he shouted in his mind but no one could hear.

Regular POV

Tayuya slit the throat of the second anbu who was still under the effect of her genjutsu; the man gagged on his own blood as he slumped forward and Tayuya took a step back before getting down on one knee and began to wipe the blood off her kunai on the shirt of the second anbu she killed.

'Man for a anbu protection detail these guys fucking suck' Tayuya thought as she stood back up and walked away.

With Kabuto

Kabuto was standing in front of the last 2 of Rasa's anbu who both had their swords drawn; Kabuto adjusted his glasses as he looked at the 2 anbu.

"Gentlemen; there is no need for us to fight" Kabuto said with a smile plastered across his face "how about you both give up and let us take the Kazekage" he said and both of the anbu deepened their stances.

"Did you really thing that work" one of the anbu said and Kabuto shrugged.

"Worth a shot" Kabuto said as he created chakra scalpels on his hands and got into his taijutsu stance.

Both of the anbu rushed toward Kabuto who allowed them to get closer before he launched his attack; as the first anbu prepared to attack Kabuto rushed in to deliver the first blow.

Kabuto used his chakra scalpel for a low slash taking out both of the Anbu's knees sending him to the ground; Kabuto came up with his other hand and sliced open the Anbu's throat.

The anbu grabbed his neck as he tried to stop the bleeding while his partner came up and tried to stab Kabuto; Kabuto used his chakra scalpel to block the sword shocking the anbu. Kabuto proceeded to use his other chakra scalpel to sever both of the Anbu's hands making them and the sword drop to the ground; the anbu began to scream as he fell to his knees as his blood began to pool under him.

"You have no one to blame but yourselves" Kabuto said as he began to walk away leaving the anbu to bleed to death "use the next few minutes to reflect on your choices" he said as he walked away with a smile.

After walking for a few minutes Kabuto saw Tayuya running up "Kabuto I- what the hell is that" Tayuya asked as she pointed to the anbu still alive and screaming "you know what; i don't give a fuck" she said and Kabuto smiled.

"Hello Tayuya" Kabuto said as he then heard the screaming stop and he looked back to see the anbu has finally died "oh he's dead, only took 3 minutes" he said as he and Tayuya began to walk to where Kimimaro and Sasori were. "Now then; lets go see how Kimimaro and Sasori are fairing" he said and Tayuya nodded.

Kabuto and Tayuya both rushed over to where Kimimaro and Sasori were battling Rasa and as they did so they climbed to the top of a boulder "ok lets ambush this fucker" Tayuya said as she was about to go in and attack. Before she could Kabuto grabbed her shoulder "what the fuck" she said and Kabuto pointed.

"Look" Kabuto said as he pointed towards Naruto who was rushing over to help "lets sit back and see what happens" he said making Tayuya go wide eyed.

"Why the fuck would we do that" Tayuya said and Kabuto smirked.

"I want to see what Naruto is capable of" Kabuto said.

With Sasori and Kimimaro

Sasori was using his wings to fly above Rasa and pointed both of his arms at him; Sasori's arms produced 2 nozzles and he fired 2 streams of fire towards Rasa.

Rasa seeing this used his sand to create a dome above him protecting him from the flames; as the flames died down Rasa sent his gold dust towards Sasori. Sasori attempted to dodge but his left arm was grabbed by the gold dust and it was slowly encasing his arm; as the dust reached his shoulder Sasori jettisoned his arm to avoid being taken down.

Rasa cursed as Sasori got away but was immediately refocused as Kimimaro attempted to attack him from behind; Kimimaro sent his spine towards Rasa in an attempt to wrap it around him.

Rasa put up a shield around his body stopping the spine while allowing Rasa to launch his counter attack; Rasa created a gold dust spear and sent it towards Kimimaro. Kimimaro was hit in the chest and was sent flying back until he landed.

Kimimaro had a softball sized hole cut into his chest revealing a solid piece of bone underneath 'if I didn't hardened my chest I'd probably be dead' Kimimaro thought. Kimimaro was about to rush back in but stopped when he saw something out of the corner of his eye.

Naruto was rushing up behind Rasa going through hand signs 'Water Style: Water bullets' Naruto fired a dozen water bullets out of his mouth towards Rasa who hastily put up a shield blocking the oncoming water bullets.

Naruto used this opportunity to harden his as he neared Rasa; Naruto cocked back his fist and rent it towards Rasa's shield. Naruto's fist punched through Rasa's gold dust and was only 4 inches away from his chest.

"Foolish boy" Rasa said as he got ready to crouch Naruto's arm "you shouldn't have-" he began until Naruto's arm detached and went forward and grabbed Rasa. 'What in Kami's name' Rasa began to think until he began to be pulled forward.

"Got you" Naruto shouted as he began to pull with all his might; Naruto proceeded to throw Rasa towards a rock formation "take that dick" Naruto shouted. Rasa was heading towards the rock formation until he pulled his gold dust towards him; Rasa created a cushion then softened his blow.

Rasa shook his head and looked at Naruto as his arm reattached and was stitched back on "a living puppet, a man who uses his own bones as a weapon and a kid who can stitch himself together" Rasa said. "I'd be doing the world a favor by killing you freaks of nature" Rasa said as he gathered his sand around him.

"Who you calling a freak" Naruto shouted and pointing at him; both Sasori and Kimimaro ran up beside Naruto "these two look less human than i do; hell Sasori has a cable in his gut and Kimimaro has…a… tail" Naruto said as he looked to Kimimaro in confusion. "Uhhh… did i miss something here" Naruto said and Kimimaro looked at him.

"I'll explain later" Kimimaro said before he covered his mouth and let out a cough; Kimimaro looked at his hand and saw a little bit of blood 'Damn, not now' he thought.

"Naruto, I'll attack him from a distance; you attack him with Kimimaro at close range" Sasori said and Naruto nodded.

"Ok; you ready Kimimaro" Naruto asked and Kimimaro nodded; Naruto and Kimimaro both ran towards Rasa who got ready to defend himself. Kimimaro pointed both of his hands at Rasa and fired the bones from his fingers; Rasa in return put up a shield to protect himself.

As he did so Naruto hardened his fists and launched both arms towards Rasa using his threads to control them; Rasa using his shield to protect himself felt 2 hard thuds against his shield and was about to grab Naruto's arm but Rasa heard something above him.

Rasa looked up to see Sasori above him using his wings to fly; Sasori quickly sent a volley of senbon towards Rasa who had to pull some of his gold dust away from his shield. Rasa tried to make a dome above him but was unable to stop all the senbon as 2 hit him on his shoulder.

Naruto seeing an opportunity pulled back one of his fists and sent another punch through the shield hitting Rasa who was sent skidding across the ground. Rasa stopped and sat up as he batten to breath heavy.

'Poison; this isn't good' Rasa thought as he saw both Naruto and Kimimaro rushing towards him.

"Ok lets finish this bastard" Naruto said to Kimimaro as he looked over "hey what's wrong" Naruto said worried.

Kimimaro was coughing up blood and fell to a knee as his curse mark began to fade 'no, why now of all times ' Kimimaro thought before he fell to the ground and began to violently convulse.

"Kimimaro" Naruto shouted as he stopped his attack and ran over "are you ok" Naruto said.

"Naruto! Look out" Sasori shouted as he rushed down towards him as fast as he could.

'Gold dust kunai' Rasa thought as he launched 6 gold dust kunai at high speed towards Naruto; Naruto hardened his whole body to deflect the kunai. The 6 kunai hit Naruto's armor and went through like it wasn't even there; the kunai pierced Naruto's chest and shot out the other side.

Sasori stopped as he saw Naruto get hit 'oh no' Sasori thought worried.

Naruto was on the ground looking up at the sky and coughing up blood 'my… hearts' Naruto thought 't-two are gone… o-one is nicked; I-I'm not going to make it' Naruto thought as his eyes grew heavy. Naruto had a thought of Hinata, Fu, Karin, Fubuki and Haku 'g-girls; I'm sorry' he thought as his world went black.

Naruto's mind scape

Naruto was laying on the ground in the water unconscious as the Kyuubi looked down on him.

"Hehehehe" The Kyuubi laughed "foolish boy; I won't let you die so easily" it said as its red chakra began to encase Naruto. "You still have a deal to fulfill to me" it thought as Naruto's wounds began to heal and his stitches began to glow.

Outside mind scape: With Tayuya and Kabuto

"Fucking, fuck, blonde just got his ticket punched" Tayuya said wide eyed looking down at the battle as Sasori continued to fight Rasa alone.

"I guess he wasn't as imp-" Kabuto began but stopped when he and Tayuya were hit by a force of chakra that felt like rogue winds from a hurricane "What the hell is that" Kabuto shouted over the wind as he tried to shield his face. Kabuto moved his hands for a moment and saw that the winds were originating from Naruto 'Kami above' Kabuto thought in genuine horror.

With Sasori and Rasa

Sasori and Rasa were both fighting until they were hit by a powerful serge of chakra coming from Naruto.

'Don't tell me the Nine tails is loose' Sasori thought as he looked at Naruto.

'What is this; I haven't felt such malice since the time Gaara went insane on his first mission and the…' Rasa began until he stopped as he had a horrible realization 'don't tell me this boy is a jinchuriki as well' he thought.

Naruto got to his feel slowly as hit chakra armor began to crack and break off until he was completely shirtless; Naruto's stitches were now on full display as they began to glow, unbind and move on his body like tendrils. Naruto looked towards Rasa with slotted red eyes that showed nothing but madness and hate behind them.

Naruto opened his mouth revealing his elongated canines as the stitches on his whisker birthmarks began to stretch; this stitches became undone as more threads came out of his mouth. Naruto let out a ear piercing roar that shook the ground and Sasori decided to gain some distance from Naruto leaving Rasa there alone.

Rasa swallowed his fear and steadied his resolve "you horrid abomination" Rasa said as his gold dust began to circle him "come at me and face death once more" he shouted.

Naruto roared once more as he charged at Rasa in a feral and uncontrollable rage.
