Chapter29

Preparations for the Vytal festival

Ozpin looked over the packed auditorium of Beacon Academy. Normally a full assembly would have the room filled, but with the students if Haven Atlas and Shade present the room was filled to the rafters. He tapped the microphone and an electronic screech filled the air. The noise of hundreds of conversations died down slowly.

"The people of Vale and the administration of Beacon Academy thank you for your selfless participation and help in our recent crisis. As gesture of thanks the council of Vale has made arrangement with Club Privee to make their premier beach facility available to the students of the academies free of charge for a week. Those wishing to avail themselves to it can contact the student affairs office to get the relevant information"

Ozpin waited for the surprised conversations to stop before continuing

"We have received word from Atlas that the Vytal tournament stadium has been successfully launched and that it will reach Vale in one months time. Till that time it has been decided to let you have a well deserved rest and relaxation period and to allow you to prepare for the tournament without interruption. Thank you for your time. A scheduled return date will be send to your scrolls shortly." Ozpin said before stepping back

Nora shifted from where she had been sitting on Katya's lap.

"Fancy going to the beach?" She asked somewhat shyly

"I would love to go, but we have decided to go look at the neighbouring systems. Goodwitch had told Jaune that we were going to get a months break last week already." Katya replied

"Oh." Nora said, slightly crestfallen

Katya tightened her grip

"Though if you come with us we might find a private beach just for us, clothing optional" She said softly in Nora's ear, before nibbling on it

"That sounds nice." Nora replied distractedly holding back a slight moan

"You, me, the sea and no interruptions." Katya said huskily

"When are we leaving?" Nora asked as huskily

"As soon as we get packed and its dark enough." Katya replied

"But that is hours away." Nora pouted

"I do have my own room on the Bantha you know, I am sure we can find something to do to fill the time." Katya whispered

Ruby eagerly turned to Weiss and Blake, all of them trying to ignore the spectacle of team KHYA and girlfriends before them as they publically canoodled, though for a moment she could have sworn she saw Blake taking notes in a small dairy

"So we talked to Dad and we would like you and Blake to come with us to Patch for the break, that is if you have no other plans. We have a lot of place to train and you can finally meet Zwei" She said

"A hard choice a five star hotel, or meeting a dog." Blake replied dryly

"Come on, it will be Yang of a holiday experience. Patch also has a beach and with school in session we will have all to ourselves" Yang added

"There are restaurants, a big bookstore and a museum close to the beach." Ruby listed off.

Blake and Weiss shared a glance before nodding

"We will go with you." Blake said

Goodwitch was once again overseeing the docks as teams BROW, KHYA, JNPR and CFVY or more accurately most of them made their way to the lesser used cable car section. What did draw her attention was that two of her collagues were attached to the group bearing luggage. She moved over to where Peach and Moody were standing slightly to the side. Moody nodded to her as she spotted her approach

"Glynda." Anastasia greeted her superious

"Are you sharing a cable car with the students?" Glynda asked, despite knowing the answer

"No, we are going with them. Peach has been nearly salivating to get a closer look at the ships. And how often will one get a chance to go and explore space." Anastasia replied

" And here I thought you made arrangements with Mister Arc's uncle for dinner." Glynda remarked

"He will be going as well, along with his brother his wife and their children and a few other people from what I have been told. Tsune will be joining as well once she hands over the infirmary." Anastasia said

"And will your trip be purely recreational?" Glynda asked

"For us, yes. Though captain Arc has mentioned that they wanted to scout for an unoccupied planet for the Yuki species." Peach replied

"We will be looking for one for us as well." Anastasia quipped

"What on Remnant for?" Glynda asked

"Honestly a planet with no Grim and space to actually live in, sounds ideal to me. I would like to have a house with a garden of my own without having to move to a settlement to get it." Peach replied

Their conversation was interrupted as another two of the faculty arrived. Port and Oobleck were heavily laded down with luggage, most carrying the label B Oobleck. Glynda lifted an eyebrow

"Captain Arc realised he would need an experienced adventurer on his quest, so of course he came to me and Bart invited himself on overhearing young Arc's request." Peter said loudly

"One would be a fool to not make use of such an opportunity." Bart said adjusting his glasses

Glynda adjusted her glasses with a sigh before nodding to the group

"Have a pleasant journey." She said

"Don't worry we will try and bring back a souvenir for you." Peach said

Weiss entered the room she was sharing with Ruby and found that the windows were open with no sign of Ruby. Nor had the younger girl been downstairs and with the time of night she had thought Ruby would be in bed. She crossed the room to the door of the bathroom that was shared between Ruby and Yang's room and knocked on the door.
"Ruby." She called

"I am outside." Ruby's voice drifted into the room

Weiss made her way to the windows and looked out

"Up here." Ruby called out

Weiss twisted her head and saw that Ruby was on the top of the roof with a telescope precariously set up.

"What are you doing out there?" Weiss asked

"Keeping an eye on the moon. Jaune and the others will be taking off any time now and I wanted to see if I could see them." Ruby replied

"And did you see anything?" Weiss asked

"I saw the Bantha approaching the moon, so it should be soon." Ruby replied

Weiss stepped out onto the windowsill before making her way up the roof to sit beside Ruby. She noticed Ruby was now screwing an attachment to the telescope

"It is a camera module, I want to take pictures of it and we can watch on my lapscroll if you want." Ruby explained without being asked

A new light appeared in the yard and moments later Yang's head appeared

"You set up already." Yang asked

"Almost." Ruby replied

"I already have the drinks and snacks ready, can we come up?" Yang responded.

"Sure, just don't wake dad up." Ruby answered

"He and uncle Qrow are passed out in front of the television. They are not going anywhere and besides Zwei will warn us." Yang snorted

Ruby tapped a few buttons and the view from space appeared on the screen. The other three crowded close

"You know it is funny, a year ago I would not have cared to watch the moon or the stars." Blake remarked

"Though I think it was because we believed there was nothing out there." Weiss said pensively

"Boy were we wrong." Yang said

"I see movement." Ruby said

They looked closer and they could barely make out the square shape as it lifted. They had one clear look before the ship just disappeared. Ruby took a screenshot

"You know if we sell this photo to the Vale enquirer we could make a lot of Lien." Yang said

"And have your name dragged through the mud." Blake pointed out

"True, what do you guys make of Ren staying behind in Beacon?" Yang shrugged

"I don't know what is going through that boys's mind, but I am happy that Nora has moved on." Ruby replied

"Yeah, that relationship if it actually took off would have been a complete train wreck." Blake stated

Yang opened the cooler box she had brought up and produced a bottle.

"I stole this from Dad's hiding place, who is up for some shots?" She grinned impishly

"You know what, sure. Why not?" Weiss replied to everyone's amazement

"Who are you and what have you done with Weiss?" Yang demanded

Weiss sat back and crossed her arms over her knees

"When that Beringel broke through I was sure I was going to die, the last thing I remember thinking there was so much I wanted to do." Weiss said softly

"Like redeeming the SDC?" Blake asked

"Funny enough, no. I regretted not having more fun, going out and actually living." Weiss said with a snort

"What did you miss doing?" Ruby asked

"Going to real parties, skipping school, having real friends and having a romantic experience. Things everyone else takes for granted." Weiss said

Yang placed an arm around her shoulders

"Then you are the right places, make your list and we will cross them of one by one." She said

"Yang, no. We will get in trouble." Ruby objected

" That little sis is the general idea. Now let us get wasted on the roof." Yang said cheerfully

"Are you not afraid of what your family might say?" Blake asked

"Jaquess Schnee will find fault no matter what I do, so I don't care what he thinks. My mother would have to be sober before I will listen to her, Winter will not approve but again I don't really care, she has her life and it is not mine. Whitley again don't care at all."

"That is the spirit." Yang said encouragingly

"Now where are the glasses?" Weiss asked grabbing the bottle

Soon the silence of the night air was disturbed by giggling and later drunken laughter. Forgotten Ruby's lapscroll kept on recording footage from the telescope. None of them noticed the blue flashes of ships arriving

Peter and Bart were slowly walking around the lower decks of the ship with Bart recording everything as he went. They paused as they heard the screech of metal being forcibly shifted, shortly followed thereafter by catcalling and cries of approval. Chants similar to a sports meet came fort from the third cargo bay. The senior hunters made their way to way to the open door and looked in

The younger Arc sisters and their friends from Fort Freedom were seated along the wall of the bay. They were the ones doing a cheerleader impression. The catcalling and cheering came from the other students. Mister Arc, Miss Nikos, Ichuru and Scarlatina were busy with some sort of obstacle training. Two crates were suspended on chain links.

As they looked on Miss Nikos took an impossible jump over one of the crates and landed at the far end, Spinning around she made a pushing motion and the crate rapidly shifted on the gantry. She then made a pulling motion and the second crate sped towards her. She proceeded to make another jump over the rapidly approaching crate.

" Pyrrha. Pyrrha she is the one. Pyrrha is number one." Nora led a cheer

"Come on Vel. You can not let the red hair win. Show us that Bunny Fu." Coco called out over the cheer

Velvet stepped up and the teachers noted the lack of her normal shy demeanor. She made the same pulling motion Pyrrha did on the first crate before rushing forward in a blur and sliding precariously under the approaching crate. She spun in the air as she jumped to her feet and made another pushing motion while in the air, further rocketing the crate on its tracks, before landing in a what is commonly immortilized in the media called the super Hunter landing. Her orange blades igniting behind her back.

Miss Ichuru landed before Velvet and ignited her shorter blades and the two huntresses were soon engaged in a blur of movement as they engaged in a spar. The sound of their spar was soon echoed as Mister Arc and Miss Nikos started their own spar. The two were a bit slower than the first pair, though that were most likely due to the fact that they were balancing on a thin rail metres from the ground

"Get them!" Nora cried out

She led the children forward and started pelting the combatants with various sizes of balls, from a crate they had been sitting on. Miss Nikos was the first to fall. She had been in a blade lock when a volleyball knocked her from her perch. Mister Arc hunkered down and started sending the balls back to his attackers by making the same pushing motion they had seen the Velvet and Pyrrha make.

Bart lowered his camera

"I do believe this will be a Vytal festival to remember." He said musingly

"I believe you are right, No matter what we will have a very entertaining show this year." Peter said stroking his moustache

A red light started flashing and all the activity seized. Jaune dropped from the rail and pulled his comlink out

"Katya what is up?" He asked

"We are coming up on the first reversion point. I need help on the bridge." Katya's voice came back

"On our way," Jaune replied

The blue lines of hyperspace were still in placeas the large group made their way onto the bridge. Jaune dropped into the second pilot chair and tapped his access code in to activate the terminal. Katya was strapped in by the primary chair, various holograms were open if front of her. Yara was sitting by the engineering terminal.

"Confirm shields up?" Katya called out

"Shield up holding steady." Yara replied

"Reverting to realspace in five four three…" Katya counted of

The ship lurched as it exited hyperspace. The shields were flashing as they exited in a meteor shower. Jaune pressed a few buttons on his terminal and lasers began flashing as the asteroid turrets started picking off the debris. The ship rattled as several asteroids managed to impact the shield after being missed by the cannons

" Emergency dive, brace." Katya called out

She pressed the control column down sharply and activated the full engines, A piece of rock three times the size of the ship was hurtling towards them. The managed to miss the asteroid by mere metres. They levelled out and stared at the system before them. The sun was flaring as asteroids were being pulled into it

"Yeah, we are so out of here." Katya remarked

"Overriding cool down, hyperdrive coming online." Yara reported

" Loading destination Remnant system."

The ship lurched and the blue lines returned. Katya swivelled in her chair and breathed out deeply

"What the hell was that about?" Nora asked from where she had fallen down after the emergency dive

" The star is going supernova. The asteroids? Those were the planets the system had." Jaune explained

"That does not really explain anything." Pyrrha said from where she had been holding on to a guard rail

Jaune thought for moment

"Okay rough and ready explanation. I will try and keep this simple and i will not be held responsible if an astro phycisist hears of this explanation."

Jaune spun in his chair

"Contrary to what you might believe starts do no exist forever. They are born, they die. As to why a star forms that is a subject of intense debate. Once a star forms it creates a gravity pull around it and most of the times a solar system gets created as it grows. Planets are formed from magma that the new star expels and what gets pulled in as the star is formed."

"Okay." Velvet said uncertainly

"Over millennia planets form and settle in courses around its star or stars each one with its own rotation and course. What we saw now was a star destabilising and pulling its system into itself. If we did not leave when we did, we would have been pulled into a dying star."

"And the star itself?" April asked

"Will either implode creating a gravity anomaly called a black hole or explode scattering across the galaxy where the process will start again." Jaune said

Jaune looked over his shoulder at the terminal.

"We will be back in the Remnant system in thirteen hours and we will check another location." He said

"Will we be far enough from the dying star? Or will Remnant be safe for that matter" Oobleck asked

"We will, in hyperspace we move faster than light andin thirteen hours we will be so far from it that there will be no effects. As for Remnant if anyone is watching fifty years from now they might spot a missing star." Yara said firmly

"How common is it for start to die?" Yatsu asked

"Not that common, or for stars to die as dramatically as we have just experienced. Most of the time they fade if you can put it like that, they just produce less and less energy till they seize to exist." Katya said

" And Remnant sun? Which stage is it at?" April asked

"You would have to ask an astro physicist and even then it would be a best guess. The only thing we can tell for certainty is that it can be classed as a yellow giant." Katya replied

"A yellow giant is just the classification of the star, there are many more but I have never really bothered to study the differences. I have always been more interested in machines." Yara said

"There should be a section about this in the crew mess databank that we have adapted to show text in your language, but again there might be errors due to language incompatabillity," Katya said

Jaune shifted in his seat

"Katya why don't you take a break. My watch is up next and since I am here already you might as well take of early."

"You sure?" Katya asked eagerly

"Yes, go rub bruise cream into Nora I think she will have a few after her tumble despite being told to brace." Jaune said

"The things I do for my girlfriend." Katya said mock tiredly

Katya grabbed Nora's hand and led the way from the bridge ignoring the mock gagging sounds the younger ones made. Port followed Oobleck as he was making his way to the terminal in the crew mess, certain in the knowledge he will have to stage an intervention in a few hours to get his friend to stop studying. That is assuming he does not have to mediate a truce between Bart and Peach who was probably still glued to the terminal filling reams of notebooks.

Jaune had a sudden though and spun in his chair

"Hina, would you please go check on Saph Terra and the babies?" He asked

"They are will be fine. I told them to strap in before we reverted and the bassinet I build for the babies will be able to handle a sudden manuever like that." Yara said

"What did you build into that bassinet?" Hina asked

"Repulsor coils, gyro stabilisers and a force shield, the worst that could have happened was that the basinet moved before the repulsors pushed it back into position. Oh and I added an internal compensator so even if it moved the babies would not have felt a thing." Yara listed off

"Ok, but I will go and check on the others any way. Though I will leave Derrick's room for last." Hina said

"Why?" Jaune asked

"He was entertaining Moody, something about owing her a dinner." Hina replied

"Give Octavia a kiss if she has any owies." Yara teased her sister

Hina bent over and waved her tail at her sister before leaving the bridge. Velvet and Pyrrha, who had staid behind, was perplexed by Jaune's sniggering and Yara's outraged look

"I assume that was an insult." Pyrrha said after a moment

"Your equivalent is what you call showing a full moon." Jaune said with a chuckle

"Oh, I see." Velvet said meekly

"That was the mild version or more polite though." Jaune said

"It gets worse?" Velvet asked

"The worse version is exactly like yours." Jaune said

"I will be back later." Yara said marching to the door

"What are you going to do?" Jaune asked exasperatedly

"I am going to piss on her catnip stash." Yara said angrily

Pyrrha pointed to the departing Yuki

"Should you not stop her?" She asked

"First rule of siblings do not get involved." Velvet replied, shaking her head

The second system was much safer to enter. No meteor showers and dying stars in sight, The system itself was a dud unless you had resources and credits to burn on terraforming. The system had four gas giants and three rock based planets, not one of them had a sustainable athmosphere.

Peach was on the bridge this time and looked in curiosity at the planets, as were most of the passengers

"Just what makes a planet viable as a colony?" She asked

"It depends a lot on the species the planet is intended for." She said from the communication terminal

She swivelled her chair and faced her teacher

"For Humans and Yuki it must have oxygen, not to be too far from the star or too close for that matter. Also for us surface water is a necessity. And for us to consider it there must be no sign of emerging species, though that criteria sometimes get thrown out the airlock once politicians gets involved." She said

"So like Remnant then." Peach stated

"Remnant is a strange one, for all facts and purposes it is a bit further away from your sun being the sixth one from your star to be considered ideal, though I think it is because your star must be younger and thus producing more radiation. That being said I could be very wrong, again we don't really know what the pathfinders or the exploration Corp use as a criteria."

"Another thing looked at is the resources available in system or on planet. Minerals being one." Yara added

"What happens if they missed what you called an emerging species?" Coco asked

"Naboo." Hina said

Seeing there baffled looks. She tapped a few buttons and a planet appeared before them on the holodisplay

"This is Naboo, the second most snobbiest and pretentious planet in the galaxy. They started settling on it after the planet had been considered a prime planet." Hina said

"I am guessing they missed something?" Peach remarked

"Yeah, entire underwater cities filled with beings called Gungans. It came close to war between humans and the Gungans until the Caamasi stepped in and mediated a truce and peace treaty. The two species still do not get along despite The Naboo claiming to be morally superior." Hina replied

"And the snobbiest planet is which one?" Coco asked

"Alderaan." Jaune and the sisters said as one

Katya started turning the Green Dawn around to get ready for hyperspace once the engines have cooled

"Stop!" Jaune ordered

"What is it?" Katya asked

"I am picking up ion traces, very faint but still there." Jaune said looking at his terminal

Katya tapped her terminal and looked at the readings

"You are right, very faint but still there. By the sixth planet." She said

"Shall we go and check?" Hina asked

"We have four hours for cool down on the hyperdrive might as well." Jaune shrugged

They moved forward at sublight towards the planet. Hina frowned as her terminal lit up

"Getting a signal, Republic basic signature. Repeating."

"What does it say?" Jaune asked

"Too weak to pick up the content." Hina replied

"How far are we on hyperdrive cool down?" Jaune asked

"Two hours, after our last emergency jump I will not risk another override till we check the engine and that is a job that is too big for just me." Yara said firmly

"Okay, let us see if we get a clearer message once we get closer but stay ready to turn tail and run." Jaune said

"I think we have a few probes left. How about we fire one and stay here?" Katya suggested

"Sounds like a good idea, we all agreed." Jaune said

"You are the captain. But yes." Yara said

They cut the sublight engines and let the ship drift before relocating to the secondary bridge to study the images and signals from the probe. Katya pointed to a spot.

"There by the third moon." She said

Hina tapped on the terminal and the probe changed course. The image slowly became clearer as did the signal. The four from the Core worls had their jaws dropping at the sight. Five Dreadnought class ships clustered around a central column became visible. Apart frm a few flickering navigation lights the ships were dead and drifting

"What the kark?" Jaune gasped out

Hina finally managed to clear the weak signal and hissed, her ears drooping

"That explains a lot." She muttered

"Can someone please explain?" Peach said

"Gamorean blight virus, those are ghost ships." Hina said

Jaune looked at the Remnant natives who were still confused

"What you are looking at is a group of ships that had gone missing close to fifty years ago. At the time there had been a push to expand the borders of the Republic and plans were made for a grand exploration. It was called the Outbound Flight initiative." He said

"The idea was to send five dreadnaught class ships packed with colonists and equipment to search out new planets and create a new colony. The central column between the ships were where most of the colonists and equipment were kept, it was believed that five dreadnoughts were more than enough protection for a new colony." Hina continued

Jaune took up the tale

"Most people are more aware of the first launch due to the fact that the first ships contained a large contingent of Jedi and was under the command of a Jedi names Jorus C'Boath I think. It was controversial due to the fact that Jedi were not supposed to be in charge of colonizing missions. The second group was under the command of a Republic officer, though they to had Jedi but a much lesser number. The scandal of bit groups disappearing without trace forced the then Chancellor to resign."

"But why? Surely people realized such a venture would be perilous?" Velvet asked

"A single dreadnought at that time cost seven hundred million credits, so multiply that with ten and whatever the cost for the equipment was. The Chancellor was forced out because of the cost of the experiment. It was alleged credits were taken from other projects and plans to fund the Outbound Flight initiative. And because of that the tax levies were higher to make up for the shortfall." Jaune explained

"And higher levies meant a higher scrutiny of government costs I take it." Johnathan remarked

"So you had an unhappy government and nothing to show for it. That would be enough for the politicians to turn on the Chancellor. Of course it was for their constitionts and not because it impacted the politicians life style. No matter what politics stay the same" Derrick chuckled dryly

Hina pointed to the image

"At that time Gamorean Blight was a new disease, and there was no cure for it either. Due to its long incubation period detecting it was impossible. Being highly contagious for any species not Gamorean I can see how it will kill off several thousand beings easily."

"Gamoreans are the pigmen, right?" Gwen said

"Yes, for them Gamorean blight is what a flu virus is to us. And all of them are carriers of it. That was how it spread so quickly around the Core. You will find a Gamorean in the slums of every planet, and more often than not work for a criminal." Hina went on

Hina looked to Jaune who was studying the ships

" You want to go and take a closer look?" She asked

"What about the virus?" Sapphron asked

"Those shots I gave all of you inoculated you against Gamorean blight." Hina replied

"If we were more qualified people I would say yes to exploring those ships, but for now, no. I would mark the position and come back later for salvage if we find a usable planet." Jaune said, shaking his head

"Good, I was going to scratch you silly if you wanted to be stupid." Hina said

"Would salvage really be that difficult?" Dew asked

"If the gravity generator worked no, then it is a case of board and look around. If you have to get the generators online first yoy have to start the main engines assuming there is fuel and for ships that size it can take days for the generator restore gravity, so yoy spend days burning fuel for no gain." Jaune explained

"You could try using magnetic boots but locking and unlocking the boots to take a simple step becomes too much." Yara added

"That is assuming you restarting the systems does not trigger the anti intruder protocols as well. Though those ships would respondto a standard Republic com code." Jean continued

"You are forgetting that the codes change almost yearly. We got really lucky when we salvaged the Dawn" Katya pointed out

Katya started turning the ship to face the direction for the third system to check out.

"Shall we move on to the third system, captain, third time lucky?" Katya said

"Sublight till we are clear to jump, steady as she goes." Jaune replied

Taiyang and Qrow stood smirking as they looked over the four scattered over the yard. In a fit of hungover bravery Yang had challenged the two as she put decrepit all men for a warm up spar before they started theor practice for the festival

"I told you we should have recorded this?" Qrow remarked sheathing Harbinger

"I did. Just like I did their rooftop party" Tai replied

Taiyang pointed to the dome of the camera that was part of his upgraded security system. Seeing Taiyang motion in his vague direction had Zwei trotting over on his stubby legs. Zwei paused to lick and sniff the catgirl on his way over to his master. Blake was too fatigued and sore to squirm away, the fact that she had been tied up with her own weapon might have been contributing factor.

Taiyang shot his brother in law a sidelong glance. Since Qrow had reduced his drinking the man had been returning to a more healty colour and had been regaining weight. It was a good start but a lot of damage had to be undone still

"Heard anything from Cameron?" Taiyang asked

"No she went off world with the Arc kid. We had a long chat before she left though." Qrow replied

"I still cant get over that. Real Aliens and space ships." Taiyang shook his head

"If not for Yang and her trust issues I would have thought these four would have gone as well." Qrow said

"I need to have a long talk with her. Yes, they lied to her about where they came from, they lied to everyone but you can see why. Bur for her to try and distance her and her team like this, we really need to work on her trust issues. Not that I can really blame her for that" Taiyang said

"How about I teach tissue paper over there some hand to hand and you take her for some ice cream." Qrow said pointing to Ruby

Ruby had been the first one to have been taken out in the spar once she had been relieved of Crescent Rose her defence had crumbled. Both men saw that she had improved in that regard but a lot more work was needed on that front. The only one to have put a fairly decent fight had been Blake but ultimately had her overcomplicated weapon been her downfall. Yang too had been a fairly easy defeat. Once her semblance triggered she lost Aura and stamina fast, staying out of range and she became vulnerable fast. Weiss had been taken out at close range her glyphs being both her strongest point as well as her weakness.

" I can do that, and then arrange for these four to access the school gym at Signal." Taiyang said thoughtfully

"Better get these four up and ready then." Qrow replied

"Before we do that, what is happening with Lionheart?" Taiyang asked softly

"Jimmy is sending his Ace Ops to deal with that, the only good thing that has come out of this is that Amber is recovering well." Qrow replied

"Did they actually cut out a Grim parasite out of her?" Taiyang asked

"So both Glynda and Tsune says, and the surgery apparently did not leave a scar." Qrow answered

Taiyang took out a lien card

"Flip you for it. Winner gets to use the garden hose to wake them up."

"How about we skip that and I just go and open the tap and let you spray down your daughters and their friends." Qrow shook his head

It was third time lucky. The Green dawn settled into orbit around the fourth planet in the system as they used the scanners to check the planet below them. Half of their remaining probes had been fired to do closer scans as they had been approaching the planet

"This one looks very good much better than the third planet." Hina remarked

"They both looked the same to me." Nora stated

"The third one is usable, what gets it down marked is the large ice deposits and that the atmosphere only has eighteen percent oxygen." Yara explained

"If the robes are correct this one has oxygen at twenty three percent which is slightly higher than Coruscant and Remnant standard and most the landmass is covered with plant and wildlife. Definitely no overt signs of sentient life." Yara continued

"But are there beaches, someone promised me a private beach." Nora replied

"Yes, there is a few and once we finish our scans that is the first place we are going to check out." Katya replied

Jaune swivelled in his chair

"I will go and prep the Bantha, it makes more sense to take the smaller ship to go down." He said getting out of his chair

"Can I make the announcement?" Nora asked

Hina motioned her closer and showed her the buttons to initiate a ship wide address. Nora cleared her throat

" Attention all crew. This is your Admiral, Nora queen of the castle. Pull your hands out of your pants and get ready,We are going to the beach."
