Bidoof Hide-and-Seek
The next morning in Jubilife Village, the Loud siblings who weren't at the Deertrack Heights camp were just waking up.
"Morning." Lincoln says to the sisters he was sharing a small house with.
"Morning, Lincoln." replied Leni and Luan.
"How did you sleep last night?" Leni asked Lincoln.
"Pretty well." said Lincoln.
"Did you dream about Clover?" asked Luan with a smirk.
"N-No." said Lincoln with a blush. His sisters, along with his Pokemon, all chuckle at him.
"What should we do now?" asked Leni.
"Let's eat breakfast, then we'll head over to Deertrack Heights to check on Lynn, Lucy, and Lana." said Lincoln.
"Okay." said Leni and Luan in unison. The three exit the house just as the other Loud sisters who were currently in the village come out of theirs.
"Morning, everyone." said Lori.
"Morning, Lori." everyone else replied. They all then head over to the Wallflower to grab some breakfast; as they ate with their Pokemon, they try figuring out what they were going to do today.
"What do you all have planned today?" asked Lori.
"I'm probably gonna help Lisa with the pokedex in the Deertrack Heights area." said Lincoln. "I'm also gonna check in on Lynn, Lucy, and Lana."
"I'll come with you, bro." said Luna.
"I'm gonna stay and work on more clothing designs with Anthe." said Leni.
"You're really into fashion, Leni." said Luan.
"I don't know why I like it so much." said Leni.
"I'm gonna stay and run me and Lana's shop." said Lola.
"I'll just stay here with Lily." said Lori.
"Me, too." said Luan.
"Okay, then." said Lincoln. After everyone finished eating, they all go out to do what they planned. As Luna, Lincoln, and Lisa head toward the village gate, they notice a young man with blue, blonde, and green hair; wearing a neck ring, a long blue jacket over dark blue clothing, and blue shoes with ribbons on them walking through it.
"Who's he?" asked Luna.
"I don't know." said Lincoln. The young man notices them looking at him and walks over.
"Pardon me; I'm in a hurry, can you tell me where Galaxy Hall is?" asked the man.
"It's that big building right over there." said Lincoln as he points towards Galaxy Hall.
"Thanks for a quick answer." said the young man. He then walks towards the building; as he does, he notices Leni who then notices him, the two stare at each other while blushing. After a few seconds, the young man shakes his head back to his senses and continues on his way.
At Aspiration Hill; Luna, Lincoln, and Lisa were heading towards Deertrack Heights.
"I can't wait to see what other kinds of Pokemon are in the Deertrack Heights area." said Lincoln.
"I also wish to see what other species of Pokemon dwell in that area as well." said Lisa.
As they all walk down the road, they notice a girl with blonde hair with a red hairband on it, wearing a red and black top, white shorts, a white collar around her neck, two thick light blue bracelets, a red and white sash around her waist, a thick light blue anklet, and red shoes; going in the direction they just came from; the girl notices them and walks over.
"Pardon me." said the girl. "Are you from the Galaxy Team's Survey Corps?"
"Yes." Lisa replies. "I assume it was our attire that gave that fact away?"
"Indeed." the girl replies. "Is Jubilife Village in this direction?"
"It sure is." said Lincoln, getting the girl's attention; she then notices Lincoln's Pokemon standing behind them.
"Do those Pokemon belong to you?" asked the girl.
"They're not belongings; they're living creatures and they're my friends." said Lincoln. The girl looks at Lincoln with surprise.
"Don't the Galaxy Team members keep their Pokemon in those pokeball things they invented?" asked the girl.
"Most of them, but Lincoln likes having his out with him." said Luna.
"I just enjoy their company." said Lincoln. The girl looks at him with awe.
"Brother, we should be on our way." said Lisa. "We do have a pokedex to work on."
"Oh yeah; sorry." said Lincoln. He and his sisters continue down the road; as they do, they look back at the girl who smiles warmly at Lincoln and winks at him, making him blush and his sisters giggle.
Meanwhile, with the Miss Fortune sisters in an area of Sinnoh called the Crimson Mirelands; they were scoping out the entrance to what looked like ruins when Charm hears growling from nearby.
"What was that?" asked Charm as she and Coin look around for the source and sees it was coming from Clover.
"What is wrong, sister?" Coin asked Clover.
"I feel angry for some reason." said Clover.
"Well, keep it down, we don't want those Security Corps members to know we're here." said Charm.
'Something better not be going on with my Lincoln.' Clover thinks to herself.
Meanwhile, back in Jubilife Village; Lori, Luan, and Lily were going for a stroll through the village when they hear shouting coming from the village gate.
"What's going on?" asked Lori. They look to see three Bidoofs running into the village, making Lily giggle and clap. They notice a member of the Security Corps with a frustrated look on her face.
"Is something wrong?" Luan asked the Security Corps member.
"My name is Tsumugi." said the woman now known as Tsumugi. "It's those darn Bidoofs again. I look away for ONE second, and the little scoundrels waltz right into the village!"
"Is that really bad?" asked Luan.
"They tend to chew on the woodwork in this village, causing damage." said Tsumugi. "Ohhh, this is awful... I'm a complete failure as a member of the Security Corps... How can I face Captain Zisu like this?"
"Is there anything we can do to help?" asked Lori.
"Well, I suppose if we can catch the Bidoofs before they do any damage, then everything will be fine." said Tsumugi. "But still... three is a lot. Two more than I think I can handle on my own, actually."
"We have experience handling Bidoofs." said Luan.
"You do?" asked Tsumugi.
"Yes." said Lori. "In fact, our baby sister has one." Lily giggles as she tosses her Bidoof's pokeball and tosses it, letting her out.
"I heard that Bidoofs can be distracted by the presence of another one." said Tsumugi. "If your sister can use hers to keep those rogue ones occupied, then I can sneak up on them and catch them."
"Sounds like a plan to me." said Luan.
"Let's get started then." said Tsumugi.
"Lily, want to play hide-and-seek with the Bidoofs?" Lori asked her baby sister. Lily claps in response. The group then wander around the village in search of the renegade Bidoofs. They soon spot one by the house that Leni, Luan, and Lincoln were using; gnawing on the wooden wall.
"Hey! 'Wood' you please stop chewing on our house?" Luan asked the Bidoof.
"Is this really the time for jokes?" Lori asked her sister.
"I don't know why, but I felt the urge to say that." said Luan. Lily and her Bidoof move towards the wild Bidoof, getting its attention; as the two Pokemon stare at each other, Tsumugi sneaks up on the wild one and throws a pokeball at it, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles before a firework shoots out of it.
"Good work." said Tsumugi.
"That's one down." said Lori. The two continue wandering around the village until they spot another Bidoof near the end of a fence surronding the Pokemon pastures, gnawing on part of it.
"Do your stuff, Lily." said Luan. Lily and her Bidoof move closer to the wild one and get its attention; Tsumugi takes the opportunity of it being distracted to throw a pokeball at it, hitting it, and sucking it in; the pokeball wiggles once before a firework shoots out of it.
"That's another one captured." said Tsumugi. "Just one more to go."
The group then continue to look around they find the third Bidoof behind another house near a building that was under construction; Lily and her Bidoof then go over to it and keep its attention on them while Tsumugi throws another pokeball at it, hitting it, and sucking it in; after the pokeball wiggles once, a firework shoots out of it.
"Nice job, Lily." said Luan, making Lily giggle.
Later near the village gate, Tsumugi has all three Bidoofs lined up in front of her.
"Nice work! That puts all these little troublemakers in our custody." said Tsumugi. "Now to give 'em the old heave-ho!"
"Hold on!" a voice calls out, making everyone look to see a woman with light blue hair, wearing a purple haroi with gold yellow trim over a white shirt and faded blue leggings, and sandals. "It'd be a shame to just send these Bidoof back into the wild, no?"
"Who are you?" Lori asked the woman.
"My name is Sanqua, head of the Construction Corps." said the woman now known as Sanqua. "We could find a use for 'em."
"Huh? You want to keep them?" asked Tsumugi. "But these naughty nibblers have caused so much trouble for the Construction Corps!"
"They're just Pokemon being Pokemon." replied Sanqua. "How're they supposed to know our village is a strict no=-chewing zone?"
"I suppose that's true." said Lori.
"And besides, it shows good taste on their part to come all the way here to gnaw on our woodwork, too." said Sanqua. "But if they're gonna stay here, they'll have to help with our work! They have the guts to keep trying to get into the village, plus the teeth to gnash through trees and rocks, just what our corps needs."
"That does sound like they would be useful in construction." said Lori.
"How about it little ones?" Sanqua asked the Bidoof as she looks down at them. "Meals taste better after a day's work, y'know!"
"Dooooooof!" the Bidoof said cheerfully.
"Just what I wanted to hear." said Sanqua.
"Hmmm... I'm not convinced this lot have it in them to do an honest day's work..." said Tsumugi. "But if Sanqua's watching over them, I'm sure it'll work out all right."
"And you won't have to deal with them sneaking into the village." said Luan.
"So I guess that that's settled! Thanks again for your help." said Tsumugi.
"You're welcome." said Lori.
Lori, Luan, and Lily have helped deal with a trio of bothersome Bidoofs. What else will they do as their Hisui adventures continue?
