Peter wakes up and sees Gwen in his arms making him sigh happily before getting up and getting dressed and puts his suit in his bag as a precautionary measure before writing a note telling her that he would be talk to JJJ.

As he walks in he sees Betty Brant who smiles at him

"Hey Peter, how're you?" Betty asks him

"I'm pretty good Betty, is Mr Jameson in his office?" Peter asks

"Are you here for Spiderman pictures?" Betty asks him and he nods "good luck he's hated everyone else's."

"I think they're pretty good, but I hope he thinks they're better." Peter tells her honestly and she nods

"Jameson, someone has Spiderman pictures." Betty says into a mic

"Send him in, better not be someone wanting a quick buck again." Jameson says over the phone before the line goes silent

"Good luck, you'll need it." Gwen tells him and he sighs and nods opening the door as he sees a balding man with a mustache smoking a cigar

"What you got for me, a bunch of crap?" Jameson asks

"I got 6 here." Peter says putting the pictures on the desk as Jameson picks them up

"Crap, crap, crap, slightly less crap, crap, crap. I'll give you 200" Jameson tells him and Peter nods his head

"You got yourself a deal." Peter tells him as Jameson hands him 200

"You get any more pictures like that, I'll keep paying you." Jameson tells him as Peter leaves happily with 200 in his pocket

As he leaves Betty notices the more happy face on Peter's face

"I take it he doesn't completely hate yours?" Betty asks

"He said they were crap and he wants more." Peter says before leaving the Bugle

He's texts Gwen telling her he's on his way home and Harry texts him his dad and him would make it. As he walks through town, his spider sense goes off as he looks at a building blow up and he quickly puts his Spiderman suit on and swings up to the building

"Is there people still on the building?" He asks

"Two known, third floor." One man said coughing and Peter swings up and sees a man and woman coughing he grabs a hold of them and swings out of the building and putting them on the ground

"Is that everyone?!" Peter asks

"There's someone yelling and crying on the top floor!" A woman cries out as Peter listens and nods swinging up to it

"Hello is anyone up here?!" Peter yells out as he follows the sound of the crying and sees someone wrapped in a blanket

"Excuse me, I'll get you out of here." Peter says as he throws something at him unleashing blades cutting his arms as he does his best to dodge the remainder of the rest of the pumpkin shaped shuriken balls

Peter covers his face to make sure he doesn't get hit there

Peter goes and swings at the goblin who dodges his punch with relative ease and throws Peter to the side

"You need to stay out of my way Spiderman." The goblin says as Peter breaks off a piece of his suit and cuts a long straight line across the goblins arm before gliding out the window as Peter can't see due to the smoke so he jumps out of the building and swings home and into his window where Gwen has been waiting for him

"What happened?" She asks as she helps him get out of his suit as he groans in pain, she then makes him look her in the eyes "hey your alright, your alright, look at me."

Peter looks at her with pain in his eyes as she wipes a couple tears away

"That was different than petty thieves, he threw some sort of shurikens at me that exploded." Peter tells her as she brushes his hair before getting an alcohol wipe out and starts cleaning him up to the best of her ability.

"Sounds scary." She says giving him a hug

"It was." He told her honestly

"Are you gonna keep going after him? Whoever he is." Gwen asks him and he sighs

"I have to if I like it or not, I wouldn't be much of a hero if I didn't would I?" Peter asks laughing without any humor behind it and Gwen looks him in the eyes

"Maybe not but you have to know your boundaries Peter." She tells him softly before giving him a kiss

"I know Gwen, but I have to, I have to try and save the city, maybe not the world, but I have to save my city if I can help it, which I can." Peter tells her and she kisses him again

"I really don't want you to Peter, but I know I can't stop you, but I wanna be apart of your journey because I love you." Gwen tells him honestly and he hugs her

"I love you too Gwen, I want you away from the danger though...

I don't wanna lose you." Peter tells her honestly and she kisses his cheek

"I'm hard to get rid of bug boy." She whispers and he puts his head on her shoulder

"This is nice." Peter says softly

"Yes it is love, yes it is." Gwen says equally as soft

They then hear a soft knock on the door.

"Peter, Gwen, Harry and his father are here." Aunt May tells the two

"Coming Aunt May." Peter tells her as with his own strength while against his will, he breaks his contact with Gwen allowing the two to get up before she grabs ahold of his hand and he smiles at her and she brushes his hand lightly

"Oh Peter, you're all cut up, what happened to you?" Aunt May asks worriedly as Norman and Harry look over to him and Norman eyes in on his cuts

"Yea Peter what happened?" He asks trying not sound suspicious, as he sees the wounds are fresh but Peter picks up on it and notices Norman's cut, right where the goblin got his

"Oh, just stupid stuff that Gwen had to drag me out of. Don't worry about it." Peter says nonchalantly as him and Norman have a short stare down however the only one who notices is Gwen

"Gwen, would you like to help me set the table? I'll show you the old Parker tradition?" May asks her and Gwen looks to Peter who shrugs and gives her a grin, she shakes her head with a small smile kissing his cheek and goes over to the dining room with May

"So I see you two hit it off?" Harry asks with a grin

"I guess you could say that, man I think she's the one." Peter tells him and Harry clasps his back

"I'm happy for you Pete, I know if you treat her right, she'll treat you right." Harry says as Peter gives him a goofy grin

"Oh I already know." Peter says as Harry chuckles and Norman smirks

Gwen comes back in and kisses Peter's cheek

"Lunch time." She tells everyone and they all follow her inside the dining room

As they sit down they all begin to casually eat

"So kids, when will you all start turning in scholarships?" Aunt May asks the teens as they look at each other

"We got some starting at the beginning of the school year next year, but that's still obviously almost a year away." Gwen tells them

"That's great, you all should get several." Aunt May tells them

"Thanks Mrs P." Harry tells her

"No problem Harry." May tells him with a small smile

"So how's oscorp?" Peter says trying to make small talk with Norman who looks at Peter

"It's going better than I was expecting this week, even with... the accidents." Norman tells the teen as everyone else listens in on what Norman said

"Yea, hopefully you get that fixed soon Mr Osborn." Peter tells the man knowingly who chuckles back in the same way

"Trust me Mr Parker, it will." Norman tells the table
