Patty's Pictures
Patty has always taken lots of pictures, some of them on the sly. And, unsurprisingly, many of them are of Loki.
Just a really short little drabble for ya. Hope you like!

Patty always took pictures, and as soon as she was old enough to use scissors, had always made scrapbooks out of them. She kept them with her, under her bed, and would look at them at night, if she was feeling sad. She used to never look at the ones that had Aunt Brenda in them, but now the pain had mostly gone away, and she was able to feel happy again when she looked at them.
And then there were the albums that she never looked at, never, the ones she had made in the weeks after Aunt Brenda had died. To an outsider the pictures in there would not have made any sense. There were pictures of dead things, birds, flowers, bugs, once even a cat, scattered throughout the book. Pictures of pavement from different angles, and with the shadows cast strangely on them. And pictures of one doorbell, over and over again, the same shot, the doorbell that was the reason Patty hated doorbells and never rang them or touched them.
Patty kept that scrapbook pressed against the wall, covered by stuff, and never looked at it.
And then there were the ones she loved to page through, just before she went to sleep each night. Pictures of her, with the Avengers, and all the stuff they got into. She even had pictures of Toni's crazy wedding, though of course they were blurry.
Lately Patty was surprised to find that a lot of her pictures were of Loki. Them together or just shots she had taken when he wasn't looking. Though the more she thought about it, the less she was surprised by it. Of course there were tons of pictures of Loki in there. He and Nell were really the only ones she hung out with now, what with school's and Toni's hours suddenly becoming weirder than usual.
There was one picture of Loki that was Patty's favorite. They had been hanging out in Central Park in the afternoon, just talking and whatever. She had made a really stupid joke and he was pretending to be really annoyed by it. He had turned to face her and "berate" her about it when she'd pulled her camera up and snapped a picture of him. The afternoon sun was glowing around them and he'd had this little half smile that just looked so nice.
Patty always smiled when she got to that picture.
And cut! That's all I have for you know, kids, hope you enjoyed!
