A week pasted by.

Kion was enjoying peace since Janja and his clan stop entering the Pride lands.

Kiara sat down with her brother.

Kion ask "how are you and Kovu doing?"

Kiara grins happily "we're doing great. I'm shock that you mated with four month old cub."

Kion sighs "I didn't expect to. It just happened out of love and never forget her memory and she didn't want to forget me either. So we mated to seal our union towards each other."

Kiara comments "father would flip if I mated with Kovu as a cub."

Kion nods his head "yeah."

The cubs played with each other.

Simba and Akila walked around the Pride lands doing border patrol.

Akila curious ask "what's wrong, brother? You been kinda preoccupied with something else on your mind."

Simba sighs "I'm just in shock about my youngest son mating with four month old cub when he's a cub himself."

Akila comments "I don't think he could get her pregnant when they're both still cubs."

Simba looks around and says "there's nothing wrong here."

Akila curious ask "do you wonder if Scar was saved from evil?"

Simba shakes his head "I don't know if kings of the past deemed him worthy of being a good lion or bad lion after my talk with him."

Akila sighs "who knows. The hyenas look for a new leader to help them take over the Pride lands."

Simba and Akila return back to Pride Rock to be with their mates.

Nala comments "Zira has been smiling about Kiara and Kovu being close friends."

Simba comments "friends? I thought Kiara and Kovu declared their feelings for each other?"

Malaika comments "they did."

Mufasa comments "how are my sons doing on this fine day?"

Simba and Akila grins "we're doing great. The kingdom is running good. No problems today."

Three weeks later, Kion ask "can I go see my girlfriend for three days? I promise to come see her in a month."

Simba and Nala sighs "as long as you take the team with you."

Kion grins and runs off to go collect his lion guard team.

When Kion arrives at the lion guard den, Fuli ask him "what's up?"

Kion answers "my parents agree that I can go see my girlfriend as long as you all come with me."

Ono ask "what about protecting the Pride lands?"

Kion comments "Vitani and her team can cover us for three days."

The lion guard team start their journey to the Night Pride territory pasted the mountains.

Fuli ask "how long is this journey to Night Pride territory?"

Kion answers "two days of traveling."

Beshte comments "it may take us long to travel with hot days and I have to stay cool."

As the sun moved from east to west, Kion and his team traveled through the plains towards the mountains.

At night, they found a cave to sleep in and made a few enemies from invading their territory.

Three days later, Kion and the team arrived at the mountains range.

Bunga ask "where is this Night Pride territory at?"

Kion answers "on the other side of the mountains."

Next day, they arrive at Night pride territory.

Kion walked inside the den and ask "Queen Janna?"

Queen Janna smiles "hi, Kion. I see you brought friends."

Kion smiles "yes, these are my friends, Fuli, Bunga, Beshte and Ono."

Queen Janna comments "Rani has been anxious about you coming back to see her and worried if you were going to come back to see her again."

Kion sighs "a king should always try to keep their promises."

Queen Janna comments "Rani is going to be leader of the Night Pride guard."

Rani arrived with her brother, Baliyo to see a lion with cheetah, hippo, honey badger and Egrent bird.

Baliyo ask "who are you animals?"

Kion turns around and says "we're the lion guard team and I'm here to visit you, Rani."

Rani gape "Kion?!"

Kion nods his head "yes, Rani. It's me."

Rani ran upto him and pounced on him "I'm happy that you kept your promise to come see me!"

She begins crying happy.

Kion nuzzles her to reassure her "of course I came to keep my promise."

Fuli and the team talked with the lions to get to know them while Kion and Rani left to hangout and mingle with each other.

Kion ask "how have you been?"

Rani sighs "I been fine, but I missed you."

Kion comments "I missed you too."

Rani sighs "my grandmother told me that I should wait until I'm older to mate with you again."

Kion sighs "I don't mind."

They hangout alone enjoying each other alone time together.

Rani comments "I'm five months old now."

Kion sighs "I'm six months old."

Kion and his team protect the Night Pride during the day while Janna, Nirmala and Suark protect the Pride at night.

Baliyo played with Kion too.

As days passed by, before they know it, it was three days after they arrived at Night Pride territory and had to start their journey back to the Pride lands.

Fuli ask "so, Kion, any plans for the future with Rani?"

Kion answers "I have to wait two years before we become married and start our family if I'm allowed to move there."

Three more days pasted before Kion and his team reached the Pride lands.

Nala greeted her son back home with the rest of the Pride.

Simba ask "you didn't mate with the princess again, did you?"

Kion shakes his head "no, dad. We decided to wait until we're older."

Simba sighs "you don't want to accidentally get her pregnant while she's still a cub because that could be dangerous for her."

Kion nods his head "yes, dad. I understand."

Nala smirks "in two years, you can marry her."
