Ok so I kind of mislead you about this next post being the big story. Long story short my life is super chaotic right now and I want this part to be really good so I am going to spend some more time writing and editing it. In the meantime, this is just a short excerpt I took from the beginning to set it up, and I wanted to take this post to talk a little bit about the story. So this story began in my mind after the movie first came out. People on the internet were all making their "spider-sona" and I loved it. I am not a great drawer, but I like to think my brain can come up with some good stories. That's how Dusk-spider was born, and trust me, he has so much story that hasn't been shared. But that's not important right now. When I started this, I wasn't sure where I wanted to go, or how I wanted to get there. Evidence by the chapters being pretty short, and the story not moving too much since we have started. Well I can for sure say I know where this story will go. In fact, little tease here, think of this story as the first major story arc. This first arc will cover my version of what is essentially 'Beyond the spider-verse'. This arc will be pretty linear as I am constrained by the timeline of Spot trying to deytroy everything, but there will be plently of story within the two days I have to work with. However after the conclusion of arc one, the story will be able to open up a lot and have more time to let ideas and actions have larger consequences. I will be able to tell smaller stories while still having an overarching main arc. Special brownie points to anyone who can guess the main plot point for arc 2. Right now I don't plan to have an solid schedule for posting, as my class load is pretty tough right now, so I am writing when I can and you guys will get the story as soon as possible.

"What really happened Peter?" Gwen asked. After a moment of thought Peter replied.

"Ok, but you're not gonna like it," Peter began. "When you first met him, Miguel was already pretty serious. All 'the fate of the Multiverse.' You know how he is," Peter liked to talk with his hands, waving them around as he spoke. "Well he wasn't always like that."

"He wasn't always a big jerk?"

"Well he was always that," Peter continued. "But he also used to smile. It takes something serious to take away a person's smile."

"I know," Gwen said. Peter looked at her for a moment. He remembered his Gwen. Every year he visited her grave on the day she died. Life had been so different back then. Now she was back. Well not really, Gwen wasn't his Gwen. But it was like his Gwen got another chance. Of course she had her own issues.

"Yeah. I know it's hard to believe, but I lost my smile a few times before," Peter smiled broadly. "But Miguel? He never found it again. It's like he lost the part of him that can experience happiness. He's spider-man, but he never picked himself back up after that day."

"What happened?"

"He lost his family," Peter shook his head. "He lost his wife. He lost his daughter," his voice cracked. "I can't even imagine. It started about a year ago. Miguel had already visited a few of us, but hadn't mastered the technology yet, so we didn't all have a watch. It was such a peaceful night. MJ was still pregnant," Peter began the story.

One last thing before I leave you, I am not at all familiar with this software. I don't know if there is a way for me to reply to comments and reviews made by people, so if there is a way please let me know. I'm not purposely ignoring you. Someone did ask about how I felt regarding crossovers. I will say that right now I don't have any plans for a cross over. I think that the Spider-verse charcters give me a ton of interesting people and places to work with, plus as you can probably tell I enjoy adding my own characters. As an extention to that, the spider-verse allows me an easy in story canon to include any and all Marvel charcters. If I decide to branch out, it would most likely only be that far. I prefer crossovers to make sense, and have a purpose. So I'm not opposed to the idea, however I don't see any use for it for the forseeable future. Also, and I hate to ask this, but please share this story. As someone who struggles a lot with not feeling good enough at anything, the fact that even one or two people like my writing is absolutely mind blowing. I love stories because of the emptions they can bring, and some stories have effected me in life changing ways. I hope to one day be able to help someone through my writing, in similar ways to some of my favorite authors. Thanks for reading my rambling lol. Sorry there isn't much story here, but it will be worth it :)
