-A lot of this chapter was written a long time ago for the original Double Trouble story. I changed some of it to fit the re-write because I wanted to have an update. I decided to split the Forgive and Forget episode into two chapters so the chapters aren't too long.

-I know I haven't updated this story in a while, but that's because I felt like no one liked the story since there is currently only one review on this story. (as of adding this chapter). I do want to continue this story, but your reviews are a big motivation for me to continue adding to the story.

ENJOY!

~General POV~

Chase was working in the kitchen of the cafe with Tyler. They were working as a team, making sure they weren't burning any burgers or fries. Tyler looked over at Chase for a moment and noticed how he seemed to be in a good mood. Chase hummed to himself, not noticing Tyler had been listening in.

Riley walked in with another order just as Tyler looked away from Chase.
"Someone's happy." Riley commented on Chase's mood.
"Mmm?" Chase looked up from the food he was cooking and noticed Riley. "Hey."
"Got another order." Riley showed Chase the ticket before putting it with the others. "You know...maybe we could get Hydie to help out." He said, mainly to get Chase's reaction.
"Chase would never get anything done." Tyler commented, which made Chase slightly offended.
"Hey!" Chase said and Tyler smiled a bit. "...that's not a bad idea." Chase looked at Riley with a smile. Riley and Tyler looked at each other. They were glad Chase had found someone he cared about, but they were still surprised Chase and Hydie were still together.
"Five bucks says they will break up by the end of next week." Tyler whispered to Riley. He hoped Chase didn't hear them.
"I give them two more weeks." Riley whispered back, having a bit more faith in Chase than Tyler did. Chase did tend to go through many girlfriends, but all of their friends could tell he cared about Hydie. Chase didn't seem to hear them because he seemed focused on what he was cooking, even though his thoughts drifted to Hydie.

Hydie stood in her ship, looking in a broken mirror that was on her ship. She could see the bruise on the side of her face. She tried to put some makeup over it, even though the bruise was already healing.
"I'm getting Fury back for this." Hydie muttered to herself since he was the one that slapped her. It wasn't sore anymore, but it was hard to hide from others. Hydie sighed and stood back from the mirror, taking a moment to think of another way to hide the bruise. The make up she was trying could only cover it up so much and she wasn't about to use a lot for something that would heal soon for her. Hydie took her hair out of the ponytail she had it in and brushed it over the bruise when her compact chimed.
"Why are you covering that up?" Scorn asked when Hydie opened the compact. "It's a battle scar...wear it with pride." Hydie rolled her eyes.
"I'd rather not be reminded that Fury of all people slapped me and had pleasure of doing it." Hydie said to Scorn, who was looking at Hydie through the compact. "Besides, if I walk around outside this ship, or my brother's...I don't want people staring." Hydie paused and looked at her reflection that was in the mirror on the wall. "If too many people stare...I will do something about it...and then my plans would be ruined."
"...take it out on Fury." Scorn suggested, even though she would protect her brother.
"Maybe I will." Hydie closed the compact and started to think of ways to get back at Fury for slapping her.

Hydie walked into her brother's ship. She ignored the murmurs from the prisoners about her bruise as she walked past them. Hydie didn't try and cover the bruise more with her hair, trying to show that she didn't care about the murmurs that she did hear.

Hydie walked into a room to see Wrench, Stingrage and a few Vivix.
"Where is my brother?" Hydie asked Wrench.
"Master Heckyl should be back soon." Wrench said as Stingrage. Hydie leaned against the wall and decided to wait with them until her brother returned. She stayed out of the way of Wrench and Stingrage, as she tried to figure out what they were up to without saying anything.

Stingrage stood on the other side of the room. He faced a machine that Wrench had set up with some things hooked up to it. Hydie looked at the machine, not seeing that Stingrage was getting ready to shoot at it.
"Here we go..." Stingrage said before he shot his stingers at the middle of the machine. Hydie noticed the stingers got stuck, but part of them were hanging out the other side. She took a step closer and saw that they were dripping into a watering can that Wrench was holding .
"Looks reanimating you was worth it Stingrage." Wrench said as he poured the venom from the watering can into a bucket that was on the floor. "The venom is being extracted from your stingers."
"What will his venom do?" Hydie asked before Snide walked in. Hydie turned towards him and held back on doing anything rude towards him.
"What silly plan did Heckyl tell you to waste your time on?" Snide asked and pretended that he didn't notice Hydie standing near Wrench. Hydie and her brother may have agreed to work together to gain the rangers Energems, but that didn't mean Hydie liked being around Snide.
"We're taking my venom so when the rangers drink it, they'll forget who they are." Stingrage said, which made Snide and Hydie look at him.
"The rangers aren't dumb enough to drink it..." Hydie said to Stingrage. "...at least not knowingly." Snide looked at Hydie. He noticed the bruise he caused was still visible on her face.
"Still bruised Dee Dee?" Snide asked with a chuckle. Hydie shrugged.
"Not as bruised as Fury will be if he slaps me again." Hydie said to Snide before she looked back at the venom Wrench was extracting from Stingrage's stingers. Hydie ignored the nickname Snide used that she didn't like. "I'm taking some of that." She said and found a nearby container to put some of the venom in so she could take it back to her ship.
"Why do you need that?"
"Maybe I want to forget about you." Hydie said to Snide, but didn't drink it. "Or maybe I might need it for my own plans." She was careful with the venom, not wanting to affect her.
"We could work together..." Snide suggested.
"Did you just suggest we work together?" Hydie asked in disbelief. "Are you really that desperate for an energem that you'd be willing to work with me?" She looked at Snide. He didn't get along with Hydie even though she was Heckyl's sister. "The world must be ending." She muttered to herself.
"If we use your connection to the black ranger...we can make sure one of Heckyl's plans would work for once." Hydie thought about the suggestion.
"We can work together this time..." Hydie started to say "...but if this goes wrong, then I get to decide on the next plan." She stood in front of Snide, staring at him before he slowly gave a nod.

Wrench watched Snide and Hydie walk out of the room together and noticed Snide's fingers were crossed behind his back.
"Oh boy." Wrench said about Snide and Hydie working together before going back to the venom he collected from the stingers.

Hydie walked to a field later that day. She had on black workout capris, jacket, and sneakers. She also had on a purple Tshirt that matched the purple colored streak that was in her hair. Hydie had her hair down, trying to cover the bruise on her face and the tattoo on her neck.
"What are you doing here sis?" Heckyl said after walking up to Hydie. She looked over at her brother as they started walking at each other's side.
"Just meeting Chase." Hydie said, not mentioning she was going to help with Snide's plan. "Why? Worried that I'm getting distracted from getting the energems?" She quietly asked, just in case anyone would come up to them.
"No..." Heckyl said "...but I did hear something from Fury before I left the ship." He stopped Hydie. "You're not working with Snide now, are you?"
"We don't get along...why would I work with him?" Hydie asked and crossed her arms across her chest. Hydie didn't tell Heckyl that she agreed to work with Snide on the plan they started already. Heckyl looked at his sister for a moment before she unfolded her arms. "You're getting paranoid brother." She patted Heckyl's shoulder before she started to walk again.

Hydie took a few steps and stopped when she saw Riley. Heckyl stopped next to her and they watched what Riley was doing with Burt. Hydie observed what they were doing before Riley landed in a tree. 'Ouch' Hydie thought to herself before she walked over with her brother. Hydie walked closer to Riley and held out her hand.
"Hydie...you scared me." Riley said as he held her hand and stood up. "What are you doing here?"
"Chase asked me to meet him out here." Hydie said before Riley noticed that Heckyl was also there,
"He's a little big for his britches, isn't he?" Heckyl asked Riley about Burt. The three of them looked over to Burt, who was doing something with his friends.
"Yeah, I don't understand why he's always been a jerk to me." Riley said as they looked at Burt. "I've never done anything to him."
"Some people are like that." Hydie said to Riley. "I wouldn't worry too much about it." She added.
"If you want to show him what you're made of, you're gonna have to...go the distance shall we say." Heckyl suggested to Riley and ignored Hydie's suggestion. Hydie looked at her brother, but tried to make it seem like she didn't agree with what he said. Riley looked from Burt to Heckyl.
"You think I should enter the marathon?" Riley asked Heckyl, even though he was thinking about what Hydie said.
"Well, he's making fun of you." Heckyl said to Riley and ignored the looks Hydie was giving. "Win the marathon, you'll teach him a lesson he'll never forget." Hydie looked at Riley when something flew between them and hit the climbing wall behind them.
"What was that?" Hydie asked before she looked at the stinger that was stuck in the wall.
"What? A stinger?" Heckyl asked when he looked at the stinger with Riley. The three of them looked in the opposite direction of the wall and saw Stingrage.
"Just wait till you see what my stinger can do now." Stingrage said, more towards Riley than Heckyl and Hydie. Hydie dropped the stuff she had and moved out of the way when Stingrage shot towards them. Riley pulled Heckyl behind the climbing wall.
"Hydie..." Riley said and pulled Hydie behind the wall with them.
"Is that a monster?" Heckyl asked Riley as he pretended not to know who Stingrage was.
"It's Amber Beach...what do you expect?" Hydie asked Heckyl to keep up their cover.
"Stay here, okay?" Riley said to Heckyl before he looked at Hydie. "You to." Riley knew Chase cared about Hydie so he tried to make sure she stayed safe. Riley left the two alone and started to fight Stingrage on his own.

Hydie peeked her head around the wall before she looked at her brother. She saw Heckyl looking into his watch.
"What did you tell Stingrage to do?" Heckl said to Snide. "This isn't my plan."
"No, it's a good plan now, only it's mine." Snide said to Heckyl before Heckyl closed the watch.
"And this plan might work." Hydie said to Heckyl. "Snide told me your plan...no offense..." Hydie put her hand on her brother's shoulder "...but it sucked." Hydie smirked a bit before she stood up.
"You are working with him, aren't you?" Heckyl asked Hydie as he stood up. She didn't answer her brother, instead Hydie ran out and jumped in front of Riley, and blocked a shot from Stingrage. Heckyl saw what Hydie did and did the same thing when Stingrage shot at Riley again.

Heckyl landed next to Hydie, but wasn't facing her.
"Heckyl! Hydie!" Riley yelled to them after they were on the ground. Stingrage looked at them before he looked at Riley.
"I'll get you, green ranger." Stingrage took a step closer to Riley before Tyler and the other rangers showed up.
"Think again you toxic twit." Tyler said as he jumped in front of Stingrage. They started to fight as the other rangers helped. It didn't take long for Stingrage to knock back Tyler and Shelby, demorphing them.

Hydie and Heckyl looked towards the fight and saw Tyler and Shelby.
"...Power Rangers?" They both asked themselves out loud. Stingrage looked at the other rangers and left before they could find a way to defeat him.
Tyler and Shelby got up after Stingrage retreated. Shelby went over to Riley to help him while Tyler went over to Heckyl and Hydie.
"Are you guys okay?" Tyler asked the three of them as Shelby helped Riley to sit up. "It shot them." Riley said after he groaned. He looked over at Hydie and Heckyl, who looked confused. Chase noticed Hydie was next to Heckyl and had a stinger in her.
"Hydie..." Chase demorphed and went over to her side. Tyler pulled out the singer from Heckyl while Chase pulled out the one that was in Hydie.
"Heckyl, Hydie... are you okay?" Tyler asked them both. Heckyl looked at Tyler before he looked around.
"He tried to fire at me...but Hydie jumped in front of the shot." Riley said to Chase, able to see that Chase was worried about Hydie. "Then Heckyl jumped in and blocked the second shot." He added.
"What am I doing here?" Heckyl asked as he looked at the rangers. "What happened to me?" Tyler looked at the stingers that he and Chase were holding. Shelby helped Riley stand up before she took a step closer to Tyler.
"What is happening?" Hydie asked Chase because he was closer to her than Tyler was.
"You mean...you two don't remember?" Shelby asked Hydie and Heckyl as she looked at them. Hydie and Heckyl looked at each other, but not knowing who the other was. Hydie looked at Shelby and shook her head. Chase tried to hide his frown from Hydie forgetting who she was...and who he was. Heckyl tried to remember something about himself, but couldn't think of anything.
"Well...no." Heckyl said to Shelby after he couldn't think of anything.

Hydie looked at Chase as he helped her up. She found herself looking at his face, which was full of worry.
"I like your eyes." Hydie said to Chase, even though she had no idea who he was. Chase had a small smile, but didn't seem cheerful.
"Come on...lets bring them to the base." Tyler suggested to his friends after he had helped Heckyl up. They all nodded. Ivan and Koda de-morphed before they all went to Tyler's truck.

-I do have part two of the episode/chapter started, but I'm not done with it. I'm not sure how long it will take because I'm doing stuff around my house and working most days of the week.

-There are some things in the second part I might have to change from the episode to fit with how I want Hydie's story to go. I have had Hydie's (and Heckyl's) story planned in this for a while, but when Cosmic Fury came out last year I did have to change some of Heckyl's plans in this story. Some of Hydie's will stay how I planned it while other parts will change.

-If there is anything you'd like to see happen in this story or any thoughts you have, please share them. I look at every review and will reply to any questions you might have on the story.
